Summary: Loki's previous trip to earth as D.B Cooper was just a simple prank amongst brother; there was absolutely no hidden agenda behind it whatsoever; certainly was not a way for Loki to take a peek at his so called destined soulmate. Y/N has not had an easy life, and has been hurt by the world way too many times. Can she trust her destined soulmate, or is she too far gone to love and be loved? This story is full of love, heartbreak as well as whole lot of mischief and many talks about past abuse.

Chapter 17: I am a Mu….?

Everyone was at the lab at this point , trying to understand what the hell was going on with me.

Feeling nervous was an understatement, when I found myself hooked up to the wires of the lab.

Having Loki and Bucky here with me though helped me withstand the time here.

" Okay, so these are y/n's scans now " Bruce said as he displayed my scans on the screen.

A red glow was evident in my body through the scans.

" These where her scans on her first day."

A second picture showed up and this time there is a green glow.

" The first picture looks like Loki's core powers" Thor stated.

" So, why the change?" I asked.

" Here is what I know " Bruce started " Like we said before, y/n your power runs on energy; when you use your healing you sleep and when you used your force field you eat a shit ton to compensate the energy."

" I think we already established that." Loki stated with annoyance while I gave him a let the nice man speak look.

" Anyways.. y/n you are on your period, and in a normal female this is state that usually drains women of their energy, it leaves them weak."

" I don't feel weak."

" Do you have any cramps ? "

" No"

" Sore breasts?"

" I beg your pardon " Loki stated angrily

" Calm down big boy, these are all symptoms of the cycle " Natasha stated with a smirk.

I blushed and shook my head in disagreement.

" Now if we zoom on the scans, under the red energy source there is still the green essence, but it is focused on the reproductive areas."

" Seriously does everyone need to be here while we talk about my girlfriends delicates ?"

Tony and Natasha laughed and I was blushing like crazy and my heart skipped faster when I heard him call me his girlfriend. That was a conversation for another time.

I held his hand and gave him a kiss on the inside of his palms and that seemed to shut him right up, as he tried to hide his blush.

" So, her powers are still present then , just focused on her um .."

" her uterus yes " bruce said.

" Why?" Natasha asked.

" Well from my research about people like you y/n is that you guys each have a power that helps you in a way that comes full cycle. Meaning, essentially your powers are meant for keeping you safe, and healthy. So, when you body experienced it's first period it saw that as an attack from yourself and that's why it focused solely on this. However this also left you vulnerable to the outside world and that's why your super strength suddenly appeared."

" So, sleeping beauty is basically a wear-wolf , and her period is her moon?" Tony said while laughing.

I rolled my eyes at his nonsense.

" So my super strength only comes out when I'm on my period?"

" That's the theory."

" Lame" tony stated

" Your superpowers come from a suit stark" Bucky remarked

" An yours from a shot and a metal arm."

" So, is she going to go through all that pain again? Every cycle"

" I don't think so as you actually healed her wounds so in theory they no longer exist now . However, if new wounds arise later on that she heals then they will come back again in her cycle."

" Can't we just stop her period." Bucky asked?

" I mean I wouldn't recommend that, she is still young and stopping it means removing her uterus and that means bye bye babies."

" We are not going to do that." Natasha stated firmly.

" I don't think I want children though." I stated and I missed the look of shock and hurt on Loki's face.

" You don't know what you want." Natasha states angrily

" And you do?"

" Are you an idiot? You don't have a blessing and remove it?"

" You call this a blessing?"

" Guys calm down, we aren't making any decisions now. Y/N Natasha is right on one thing, you can't do that on impulse. You have to think."

Bruce intervened knowing this was a sensitive topic for his soulmate.

" Wait a minute, I want to go back to what you said earlier.." Thor asked " You kept saying from the research about people like here... what do you mean by that."

Bruce frowned that Thor caught onto that and from the looks that he is getting from Loki , he won't be able to ignore Thor's questions.

" Well , um Y/N is what you call a mutant.."

" I am a Mu...?"

Chapter 16: The warmth of Ice

I feel so useless.

I was always 80 steps ahead of everyone, but when it comes with y/n I feel like I am a billion steps behind.

Soulmates are supposed to protect and cherish one another, and so far I am doing a horrible job at this.

I was the reason she got caught by hydra in the first place.

I let myself feel sorry for my fathers ruling, and didn't fight him enough to check if she was actually dead.

I then let my anger lead me to the dark path of Thanos.

Now my lovely y/n is sleeping in my arms, with no powers, after experiencing excruciating pain and I don't know what to do.

It's moments like these where I need mother, she would know what to do.

I brush the hair of my soulmates face and give her a kiss on her forehead.

" I'm sorry y/n , I know i have failed you."

She stirred slowly in my arms and cuddles closer to me, and nuzzled her face under my neck.

She looked so peaceful when she slept, not an ounce of fear or pain in her; a look I dream to see every day in her when she is awake.

Unfortunately the peace did not last long, as she was startled and woke up when my big oaf of a brother came barging in with the loudest voice ever.

" LOKI .. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE"

" reindeer we all tried to explain to him, but he just won't listen."

My brother suddenly pulled me from y/n's tight grip and pushed me against the walls.

" YOU BROKE THE RULES, FATHER IS FURIOUS; HOW DID YOU EVEN USE MAGIC "

Before i could even finish my sentence, someone managed to pull Thor of me and pushed him onto the ground with a strong force.

" Don't ever hurt My Loki again"

I looked up only to see that Y/N was the one who overtook Thor, who was glowing with rage with red eyes I might add.

Tony and I looked at each other with surprise in our eyes.

I was too surprised to the point that I almost didn't fathom the fact that she had called me hers.

My brain was trying to understand how she was so strong, and my heart was well almost in my arse.

" Lady, Y/N your eyes ... I mean Loki broke the rules"

" Loki, saved my life he is still wearing his chains; if you actually asked him instead of using your strength you would know."

My beautiful y/n's eyes glowed even more red and I could see her body wanting to attack Thor again; I grabbed her from behind and hugged her.

" Darling, I'm okay it's just a brotherly fight ; Thor would never actually harm me."

I could feel her tense body calm down from my touch and then she looked at Thor who was on the ground with a confused look.

" Thor.. I am so sorry... I I don't know what came over me."

" y/n I think it's time to take a quick trip to the lab.." Stark said.

Y/N nodded hesitantly and I grabbed her hands and then we all followed Stark down to the lab while I quickly helped Thor catch up with everything that has been going on.

Thor apologized and looked at me with a sense of pity at my circumstances.

Despite how I have despised my brother the last few years I was happy to have him here with me because honestly I just feel incredibly lost.

As we came closer the lab, the tighter the grip my soulmate had on me, I could hear her heart pounding a little bit faster and that's when I remembered that she may be scared to go down to the lab.

I stopped walking, and everyone stopped as well.

" Can you guys give us a second? We will catch up with you." Thor and Tony got the hint and moved forward

" Darling.. I know how scary this may be for you, but know that I am not leaving you and that I will get James too to make you feel safe. Also if it is too much for you know, you don't have to go. You have a choice."

Her eyes watered and she hugged me tightly.

" I don't deserve you Loki."

My heart broke... how could she even think that?

It was I who was undeserving of her. An evil Freak like me should not have someone so pure and kind.

" Darling... how can you say that.. you deserve everything good in this life, and I .. am not even the best."

" I am a Freak Loki, ever since you have met me it's been a cycle of weird and odd days."

" I wouldn't replace a moment with you for the world."

" You don't get it"

" Then help me understand."

" You deserve a normal girl who is not damaged goods."

I was angry.

I wanted to destroy everyone who contributed to my soulmate thinking about herself that way.

" You think you are a freak?"

She nodded

" Darling.. i am the only freak here." I said as I transformed into my Jotun Form.

She gasped and looked up at me as I grew taller in my Blue Skin.

" I told you I was a freak... this is what damaged goods actually looks like."

Y/n went in and hugged me tighter this time.

" I love you in every form Loki."

Never did I imagine that I would feel such warmth in my heart in my Icy form.

The Savior ~ A Loki x Reader story~

Chapter 15: Period Pains

I was in the bathroom putting on a pad , just like Nat taught me.

I cannot believe, I will literally bleed every month now.

Moreover, I am experiencing excruciating pain on my abdomen, but I can also feel the pain spreading towards the rest of my body; bit by bit.

" Nat, is the pain supposed to be throughout my entire body?" I yelled through the bathroom.

" It feels like that yes." She said with a chuckle.

I got up to put my pants back on, and that is when I heard my wrist snap.

I screamed in pain and fell to the floor, only to hear my knees shatter.

" Come on y/n don't be that dramatic." Nat yelled from the room.

" Nat, please come " I cried out.

I instantly heard her footsteps, until she reached me.

" Oh my god, what happened ."

I was hysterical at this point , the pain was too much to handle, and for some reason I was not healing.

" How did you break your freaking bones, and why aren't you already healed up?"

I didn't have the strength to answer her, nor did I have the answers either.

" Jarvis, get the team here now."

The pain was no longer just in my wrists and knees, I could feel shooting pain from my entire body, I could feel the aftermath of every painful event I have ever encountered throughout my life.

I could feel my eyes swelling up, the blood in my mouth.

I could feel cuts opening up in my body.

Obviously I was in bad shape, because not even Natasha was able to hold her composure.

I could hear more footsteps coming in, and raised voices; everyone was panicking.

I couldn't make out what they where saying, my screams drowned out their noise, the pain was too much.

And suddenly I couldn't breathe.

" So, there is no need to panic reindeer, it is the natural way of a female cycle here on earth."

" Another reason to despise Midgard."

~ Everyone please go to y/n 's room, there seems to be an emergency ~

" Jarvis, we are men.. we don't help in period related emergencies." Tony scoffed.

~ Sir, y/n appears to be in incredibly high doses of pain, her bones are breaking as we speak.~

The team and Loki all looked at each other with wide eyes, before everyone moved quickly.

Loki was the first to burst into the room and quickly went to his soulmates side.

Her screams where too much to bear

" WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER?"

" I don't know, she was doing fine; then all of a sudden her body was breaking itself."

More wounds where appearing on her body.

" These are not knew wounds, these are all previous wounds that healed up." James said.

A series of panic chatter started echoing through the room.

" Free me of my binds, I can heal her!"

" Loki , we cannot do that." Steve said.

" SHE WILL DIE IF I Don't STOP THIS"

" Thor is the only one that can help us, and he isn't here."

Loki was straight up panicking, he was not going to lose her; not again.

Green shimmer started faintly glowing from his hands.

" Loki, your hands" James pointed out.

Loki, looked down to see that his magic was breaking out beyond the barrier.

He close his eyes and concentrated even more and channeled his entire energy to heal her.

" Hold on tight doll ,Loki is healing you."

Loki unconsciously switched to his Asgardian language, whilst praying for his magic to work.

Soon, enough the screaming died down

" He is healing her." The captain stated.

Y/N 's body started healing and she thanked Loki for taking away the pain, before passing out.

He carried her of the floor and onto her bed , before wrapping his arms around her and snuggling with her and holding on to her for dear life not caring about his vulnerability in front of the team

" what the fuck, happened" Tony said out loud, voicing the question everyone was thinking.

" I can do some tests to see, will just need to do some blood work." Bruce suggested.

" I have medical kits in each room, Jarvis where is y/n's Kit ?"

~ Under the bed , Sir ~

Tony got the Kit and handed it to Bruce.

Bruce got out the needle and sone alcohol swabs and came close to the two souk mates.

Loki wasn't paying attention to any of them or what they where saying he was just hugging and kissing y/n 's head.

So, when he saw Bruce coming close with a sharp pointy needle, he gave him a death glare that made bruce want to pee himself.

" Relax, Loki I just need some of her blood to understand the cause of what is happening."

" Don't touch her."

" Loki..."

" I swear to god, if you take one step closer I will slice your neck." The god shouted.

" we need to help y/n , and we can't help her if we don't know what's wrong." Natasha interrupted, trying to cool the tension between her mate and y/n's.

"I already know what's wrong." Loki stated

" what?" Everyone said at the same time.

" I can no longer feel her magic."

" What, how?" Bucky asked.

" I don't know how, but what I do know is that I cannot sense it anymore."

The Savior ~ A Loki x Reader story~

Chapter 14: Training day.

" Hey y/n " James said as he knocked on her door.

When James entered ;he found her curled up into the annoying god. As much as he didn't trust him, he simply could not deny the love that Loki had for her. In the end all he has ever wanted was for her to be happy; and if happiness was going to come from this greasy narcissist then; who was he to complain.

"Hey James" y/n said as she got up from Loki's lap, leading to an immediate death glare at him from the god .

" I just thought to tell you that the team will begin training soon."

She tensed , but Loki held her hands reassuringly.

" You don't have to come today, but I promise you it's fun."

" I trust you James, okay I will join you guys today."

James handed her a pair of training clothes and then left the soulmates alone once again.

" I am proud of you, for facing your fears darling."

A pink blush spread over her face at his favorite nickname.

" Can you come with me?"

"I will always do anything you shall ask."

She blushed again, and then entered her bathroom to change. It was more form fitting than she would have liked, she didn't like it.

She stared at herself in the mirror hating the outfit and tried stretching it from her body, but it simply bounced right back.

Seems she took too long in the bathroom, as she soon heard her name being called by Loki with a slight hint of concern.

A defeated sigh was let out and she went back to her room.

" What's wrong?"

" Nothing."

" Darling, I am the god of lies; and you are a bad liar."

" It's nothing Serious"

" I do not care."

" Loki , just drop it."

He paused and looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

" Y/N , you look breathtaking."

" How did you..."

" You are standing with less confidence than usual and you are wrapping your arms around your body; as a silly attempt to hide it."

I was shocked to say the least. He was very observant.

" Like I said, you are breathtaking." He repeated again.

He came close and unwrapped my arms, then held one of them firmly in his hands.

" Ready to go?"

" I am now."

We got out of my room, and proceeded to walk to the training room, and only when we arrived and I saw the smirk on Natasha's face did I notice the fact that Loki hadn't left my hands since.

I looked at our intertwined hands and decided that it felt too good to let go.

Natasha gestured for us to sit beside her so we can watch Steve and James's training.

Their arms and legs where both moving at tremendous speed and I couldn't determine which of them had the upper hand.

" I got to admit, the solider has adequate fighting skills."

" Yea, James is pretty strong."

" I have my money on blondie." Tony interrupted

" I don't know, it looks like James is winning." Natasha said.

" Want to bet?"

Natasha smirked and gave him a nod.

" Who are you betting at ,sleeping beauty?"

" James obviously."

" You are just biased."

" What about you reindeer games?"

" I don't care." Loki responded with a roll of his eyes clearly uninterested in anything Tony said.

We all re-focused our attention on the two old friends who where showing signs of exhaustion.

It was like neither of them wanted to beat the other, but also neither of them wanted to lose either.

They seemed to be having a conversation mid fight, before they both finally stopped.

" Why are you guys stopping? We have placed bets on you."

" Tony, stop betting on our trainings"

" You are no fun."

" Well, while the pretty boys keep arguing, how about we start your training y/n." Natasha said as she pulled me away from Loki's side.

She could sense my nerves and assured me that we will start small.

She was right, We really didn't do much fighting.

It was more of an assessment on where my fighting skills where.

I didn't get the type of training that James got, nor was I as powerful as him; so, it was safe to say that I sucked.

" Don't feel too bad, we all start somewhere." Natasha said as she got me off the floor after my ass had fell for the 9th time.

I nodded at her as I got up and followed her back to the bench.

" Proud of you doll." James said

" I am even more proud darling."

I rolled my eyes at Loki's not so hidden jealousy.

I suddenly felt a faint pain in my stomach. Weird, Natasha didn't hit me at all in this area.

Another shooting pain ran through my stomach again. It wasn't too extreme, but weird for my body that heals anything and everything.

"Darling, are you okay?"

I nodded, not wanting to worry him. Despite my assurance, I saw Loki's face pale as he looked at me and When I followed his gaze I saw a fresh blood stain on my leggings from my private parts!!!!!

I was freaking out.

What was happening.

Loki was freaking out too.

Natasha noticed our faces and laughed at Loki.

" Relax , she just got her period."

" What is a period?" Loki asked

" Ya , what is that?" I asked as well.

That's when Natasha gave me a questioning look.

" You have never gotten your period before???"

" Natasha, what's going on." I asked with more fear now.

She just came and hugged me.

" They must have really malnourished you to have messed up with your hormones that much. Don't worry, I will teach you everything"

She tried to take me out of the training room, but Loki was holding my hands yet again.

" Don't worry Loki, she isn't in any danger."

" SHE IS BLEEDING, WHY IS SHE BLEEDING."

James and Steve pulled him away while , Natasha lead me out.

" I will leave the boys , explain that to you."

The Savior ~ A Loki x Reader story~

Chapter 13: Jealousy, Jealousy.

My first day out of the cell and Hydra agents came in trying to take my girl. Not only that, but I was useless without my magic. Yes I am stronger than the measly Midgardians , but if I had my magic I would have wiped their existence with a snap of my fingers.I had to figure out a way out of these cuffs and soon.

My door knocked and in came my brother without waiting for my confirmation.

" I am just checking on you, brother."

" As you can clearly see, I am okay."

" Your soulmate who, I can see you care about dearly was attacked today and has been sleeping for the past 4 hours, because of how much energy she has drained. It is okay to be frustrated Loki, I am here if you need me."

" She wouldn't have needed to drain herself if I had my magic, you know very well how I can heal myself."

" Brother, I cannot take the cuffs out now; we just got Tony to agree to let you out. Besides, your father is the only one who can give the ok on your magic back."

" HE IS NOT MY FATHER."

" Loki..."

Before the big oaf could complete his sentence, a loud scream interrupted him. A scream that was too close and too familiar for my liking.

I widened my eyes knowing that it belonged to y/n.

Me and Thor immediately ran out of my room and went straight to hers.

The solider had also heard the screams and had reached her room faster than us.

She was having a nightmare.

I looked at Thor, not knowing what to do. I didn't have my magic to just take it away.

Apparently, James had other plans and immediately went to my soulmate's sides and enveloped her in a much too tight hug.

My blood boiled.

I was the only one allowed to hold her.

I went to her side as well and tried to wake her up.

She did thankfully.

I tried to comfort her and take her away from the solider, but she jumped from my touch and scooted closer to him.

" Get them away , get them away." She cried into James shoulders.

" It was just a nightmare doll, no one is here" he said as he brushed her hair.

He held here even tighter and started to rock her a bit.

I couldn't stand to see this much longer.

I was delusional to think she could ever feel safe with me, that she could ever love me.

She already loved the solider.

She preferred his touch over mine.

Come to think of it, she has never allowed me to touch her other than yesterday when she healed me.

She is repulsed by me.

I ran out of the room and into mine.

Thor had cane after me , but I had threatened to shove his dick up his own ass if he did not leave me alone.

I woke up curled into James arms. He had also fallen asleep.

I must have had a nightmare. He was always there to comfort me, when I was afraid.

He obviously sensed my movement, as he woke up as well.

" Hey, you okay?"

" Yea, I feel my energy back."

" You should, it has been 10 hours." He said as he looked at the time on his watch.

" Wow, that's a long time."

" Tony will forever nickname you sleeping beauty now."

I chuckled, knowing how true his words are.

"What was your nightmare about?"

" I don't wanna talk about it. It was something that happened while you where in the ice."

He sighed and looked down with guilt.

" James, you couldn't have done anything."

" I know, but I wish I could. You are my family, my sister basically. I could have gotten us out sooner."

" You where brain washed half of the time."

" Ya, anyways. Let's go and have some food I am starving."

I nodded at him and followed him out of bed.

" Wait, let me get Loki."

Bucky stiffened, as I knocked the door of his room.

I knocked and knocked, but no answer.

"Hey, Jarvis .. where is Loki?"

~ He appears to be in his room, but he has been ignoring all knocks on his door today miss. Y/n~

That was weird. Why was he ignoring me?

Maybe he didn't know it was me?

" Loki, open up it is me."

" I don't think he will open." James said.

" Why?"

" He sort of stormed off when You refused his comfort and chose mine, when you had your nightmare."

" I did?"

" I think he doesn't know the nature of our relationship y/n."

James was right, Loki did always hate the mention of James.

However, Loki should not shut me out just cause of a miss understanding.

If he wants to act like a kid, then so will I.

" If he wants to know the nature of our relationship, he should have asked."

With that I stormed off as well and went to the kitchen.

I was hungry and I needed some food in me.

" Sleeping beauty has finally awaken"

I ignored tony as I rummaged through the kitchen. I was angry and hungry.

" There is lasagna in the fridge." Natasha stated.

I got out the entire pan that still hadn't completely cooled off and started to eat straight from the pan.

" You know, this was meant for all of us right?"

" Can it Tony."

" Who woke up on the wrong side of the bed."

" She is just mad at Loki." James started

"Has he been ignoring you too?" Thor asked.

I nodded.

" Don't take it personally, my brother is not the best at handling any type of emotions. Let alone jealousy."

" He should talk to me about it first Thor, instead of acting like a baby."

" You are right my lady, but Loki has always felt unworthy of love. He was alway jealous of me , and thought our parents loved me more. "

My heart broke at Thor's confession.I didn't know Loki had felt all of that. I guess we really hadn't gotten to the deep talks yet.

" I will go see him after I am done eating."

I was already half way through the pan. I surprised even myself. I had never eaten this much food.

" You have an appetite of an Asgardian , my lady"

" It is probably from the force field you created" Bruce started.

" What do you mean?"

" I have been trying to monitor your abilities , so far there is one pattern. Which is you always need to recharge after using your powers; when you heal people you need to sleep in order to get back your healing energy as in normal humans sleep helps in healing. As for the force field, I am assuming it takes a lot of energy, meaning you burn a lot of calories and your body needs to compensate that with food."

" Hydra never gave me enough to eat, just to survive; is that why I was never able to do a force field before?"

" I believe so."

Bruce's analysis had me thinking.

If only hydra knew that giving me food instead of torturing me would have unlocked even more powers.

" Y/N " Natasha called out.

" Yes?"

" We need to start training you, in combat and at your powers."

I obviously had a fearful look in my eye, because James held my shoulders and whispered to me that the training here wasn't like hydra.

Still too many memories, just started flashing again and I could already feel my breathing deepen.

I excused myself as calmly as I could and went back to my room.

I was trying to calm myself down, but I couldn't.

My breathing was getting shorter and shorter.

I didn't know what to do.

~ Mrs, you seem to be having a panic attack; Who would you like me to call out for you~

" Loki"

In a matter of seconds, I heard my door unlocked and Loki getting down to me and asking me to follow his breathing.

" Just like that, little one follow my breath."

I did this for a few more times until I felt my body calming.

" Where did you learn this?" I asked him.

" I had been researching all day on ways I can help you with to calm you down that didn't need magic."

" Thank you."

" What happened?"

I didn't want to talk about it, but I also knew I had to make Loki understand some of my fears as well.

" Natasha mentioned that I would start training, and well I panicked because Hydra had a horrible way in their trainings and The memories just flashed."

" Was that what you had a nightmare about?"

I shook my head.

" No.. Hydra didn't like that I would need to sleep after healing someone...."

I stopped talking and he held my hands.

" You don't have to tell me if you can't."

" I want to." I said as I squeezed his hands harder.

" They would torture me to keep me awake, but no matter what they did I would still fall asleep even in the middle of torture since every time they either electrocuted me or punched me I would heal instantly which also resulted in me getting more sleepy. "

Tears where going down my face now, fearing what Loki would think of me if I confessed what had happened next.

" Please don't think of me any less." I said with obvious shaking in my voice.

" Why would I ever think anything bas about you , little one."

I took a deep breath.

" They discovered that while physical torture wouldn't keep me awake, but when mixed with psychological it would."

Loki tensed

" They would have their way with me, non stop."

Loki's hands left mine and he got up.

He paced around the room and punched the wall , leaving a big hole in the room.

I cried harder this time, knowing that he was now repulsed by me.

Loki noticed and quickly came back to my side.

" You don't have to come closer. I know I am disgusting."

He came even closer

" Darling, no ,no I was just angry; not at you. I would never be disgusted by you, non of this was your fault. You are the most perfect person I have met. You are my soulmate, my other half. I will not rest until I have taken down this organization and killed every person in it."

I looked at him and saw the genuine look in his eyes.

" Can I hug you?"

I nodded, as he carried me to his lap and cuddled me. I also wrapped my arms around him and snuggled closer.

" There is nothing going on between me and James; he is like my brother. I was just used to going to him for safety for years."

" I know darling, I am sorry I over reacted."

I could still feel him tense

" You make me feel safe Loki, I have never felt safer until this moment."

I could feel his muscles relax as he kissed my forehead.

I melted at his touch.

It was true, I really had never felt this safe.

Chapter 12: Sneak attack

It has been over two weeks since you have settled into the Avengers compound and you have

grown closer to both Loki and your new teammates; you found yourself spending most of your time with Loki, before one of the avengers having to drag you out.

"You have literally spent the last 5 hours with reindeer games. This isn't the hunger games, no

need to volunteer sitting in a prison.

" I would not have to do that, if you just let him out."

" Let him out? Let him out? "

" He is not going to harm anyone."

" No, he will not harm you; there is a difference."

" She has a point Tony, My brother will not harm anyone in this room; simply because he will not

do something to upset y/n."

" Besides, his magic is locked up." Natasha intervened.

I smiled at Nat, she always stood up for me when I needed; out of all of the avengers she was one of the ones I had connected with the most.

" Bucky, back me up."

" It is James. and as much as I hate to admit it Tony, Loki is of no threat currently."

Tony grunted in frustration.

" Fine, but his magic will remain locked; and he is not allowed outside the compound."

" Thank you, Thank you."

" Your welcome kid."

I did not hesitate a moment longer before I ran to Loki's cell.

"Back so soon darling?"

I was too excited to even focus on his new nickname.

" What has gotten you so excited?"

I did not even explain and just opened his cell door, but waited for him to come out instead of

entering.

" What are you doing?"

" I convinced Tony that you get out."

Loki looked at me with astonishment and then took his first steps out of the cell.

"He did say that you cannot take your magical block off though and cannot leave the

compound."

"I expected nothing less from Stark, but at least I now we can hang out more often, without

someone deciding to drag you away."

" Let me show you to your room!" I said excitedly

"Didn't Stark just give you permission?"

"Yes, but me, Thor and Natasha have been nagging on Tony for a while now and we knew he

would crack soon enough."

" The red head helped?"

" Yup"

" Now, that is a surprise."

I grabbed Loki's hand and dragged him to give him a small tour of the compound before showing him to his room.

"This is your room" said as I pointed at his door; and this is mine " I said as I pointed to the

door next to his.

He gave his signature smile, but soon dropped it when I pointed out that the third door in the

hallway belonged to James. Before I could comment on his shift, the alarm bells in the

compound started to ring loudly.

- Intruder Alert ~ Intruder Alert ~ Intruder Alert ~

Loki and I looked at each other not understanding what was going on. Suddenly James andSteve appeared.

"Hydra agents broke in."

I instantly shook at what Steve said and immediately Loki came closer to me and enveloped me in a protective hug.

"Don't worry darling, no harm will come to you I promise."

" Behind you!" Steve yelled as a several hydra agents started appearing.

" The solider and the girl are on the second floor." One of the agents said through his ear piece.

All three boys instantly got in front of me and soon enough the rest of the avengers minus bruce.

I felt so useless, knowing that I was the weak link .. My new team mates, Loki and James where

doing their best to fight the agents while staying near my side to prevent any of the Hydra agents

getting near me...Hydra had sent hundreds of agents and I could see them getting tired and hurting the process. I had to do something, I had to. I cannot lose them. I closed my eyes praying for a miracle.

"What the." heard Tony say.

Is that a force field around us?"

"Y/N?" Loki called out.

I immediately looked at him and saw what he meant. I had casted a forcefield around us I do not

know how, but I just did.

"How did you?"

"I do not know, but I don't think I can maintain it for long let me heal you guys please."

The team looked hesitant knowing the toll it took on me.

Will you guys just listen to me." I yelled.

Natasha and Steve where the first to come to me and I healed them both at the same time,

followed by Thor and James.

"Loki? "

"I am not hurt darling, do not worry."

I knew he was lying, but I also knew that I did not have enough energy left. Soon the forcefield

dropped and the avengers started fighting one again, but this time with much more energy.

More hydra agents where dropping dead by the minute and that is when many of them started

evacuating the building.

Before I could sight in relief I noticed Loki holding his side and blood dripping.

Someone had shot him.

I quickly rant to him and asked James to help me get The bullet out.

"Y/N , stop."

" Loki, shut up."

James got out the bullet; earning a loud yell from the god and I quickly started to heal, with non stop tears falling on my face.

" Darling, I am okay I promise." He said as he cupped my face in his large hands.

After a few minutes, I could feel his wounds closing up, and I immediately hugged him while letting out a sigh of relief.

" Thank you darling."

I could feel my legs shaking and it wasn't because of his nickname. My energy level was getting weaker by the minute.

" She needs rest." James spoke up.

Loki picked me up bridal style while James opened the door to my room.

Loki set me on the bed so carefully before giving me a kiss on the forehead.

" You did so great little one."

I couldn't even smile at him as sleep soon enveloped me.

Chapter 11: Pizza makes everything better.

James was serious when he said he will not leave me sleeping any more than 2 hours, because

not a minute later he has started dragging me by my feet from my bed.

"I am up, I am up, I swear"

"Good, now go wash up and, we are all waiting for you in the common room".

I got up and went to the bathroom in my room, and found that it was already loaded with

everything I needed. I quickly took the opportunity to hop into the shower and smiled as I felt the clean fresh water and Lavender soap on my body; this was a privleadge that I had severly

missed. After I got out of the shower I wrapped myself in a towel and got back to my room; that

is when I noticed a set of new clothes folded on my bed, with a sticky note right on top.

Thought you needed a fresh set of clothes - Natasha.

I smiled at the thoughtful gesture and quickly started getting ready.

Natasha had a good sense of what I was comfortable to wear.

She had gotten me some baggy jeans and a hoodie; she somehow knew I wasn't comfortable wearing something tight.

I looked at myself in the mirror, satisfied with how I look and headed on to the common room.

" Sleeping beauty has finally awoken from her nap." Tony started when he saw me enter the room, leading to the rest of the team to turn and look at me; making me blush as I wasn't used to being the center of attention.

" Lady Y/N" Thor greeted with a loud voice " Come, we have brought this glorious cheesy goodness."

" Also known as pizza, pointbreak "

" I don't think I am hungry yet, I am still full from breakfast."

Tony nodded and the rest of the team continued their chatter.

I smiled as I saw how James was engaging with Steve; I could feel his new hope at finding himself.

Speaking of hope... I wonder how Loki was doing?

" Thinking about a certain someone?" Natasha spoke.

" Um.. no "

She gave me a slight smirk not believing my lie.

" No judgment here, I know from experience how it is hard to stay away from our soulmates."

She said as she looked at Bruce.

" You and the Hulk are Soulmates?"

She nodded at me.

" I don't like Loki as much as everyone here, but I also know that not everyone gets to meet their soulmate. I know you want to go to him, I can sneak you out the back if you like."

" Thank you."

" No need, us girls gotta stick together."

I quickly grabbed one of the pizza boxes and headed out the back to go see the god that would not leave my thoughts.

I got lost a bit on my way to his Cell, but eventually found my way.

He immediately stood up when he saw me enter the room and gave me a wide a smile.

I couldn't help , but admire how handsome he looked.

" I brought you some Pizza."

" Is food your love language?"

I blushed.

" I just don't want you to feel hungry."

" Something tells me that this is a feeling you have experienced a lot."

I nodded at him, as I slid the pizza box in his cell.

" Did you eat?"

" I am still full from breakfast, I am not used to eating a lot of food."

" That won't do, little one."

My stomach flipped at his new nickname.

He got the pizza box out for me again, gesturing me to eat.

" I got this for you Loki"

" I'd rather make sure you are well fed, that's the only thing I can do in this cage."

That's when it hit me how much I disliked how trapped he was... he was not the mastermind behind the attack after all.

That's when you decided to do something very impulsive.

You opened up the gate, and entered the cell with him.

Loki looked at you, as if you where mad.

" Fine, we will eat together."

" Are you mad ? You have trapped yourself with me."

" Someone will wonder where I am eventually and let me out."

" What made you trust me to come inside?"

" I don't know."

I really didn't know. Yesterday I was terrified of him, today I want to get as close as I can to him.

" So, what is this pizza?"

" I am about to try it for the first time with you."

I handed him a slice then I took a bite of mine and I couldn't help, but let out a tiny moan at how delicious it was.

" I can't believe I almost passed on eating this, Thor was right.. this is so delicious."

Loki just looked at me with admiration or at-least that is what I thought.

" It is indeed delicious." He said whilst staring at me with his piercing gaze that made my cheeks flush.

" Your blush is now my favorite color, little one."

He said as he let his hand pass slowly on my cheek, sending shivers down my spine.

" So, how did you know all about me before we met." I asked trying to change the topic.

" On Asgard we all feel when our soulmates are born or when they are near, is it not the same here?"

" I don't think so."

" I came to earth the very first day you where born.. you actually had trouble breathing and I healed you."

" I think my parents mentioned this when i was younger... you know minus the all powerful god healing me."

" Where are your parents now?"

" They had no part in me being Hydra's prisoner if that is your question.... They died a long time ago , we had all gotten in a car crash."

" I think I had felt that, you where hurt."

" Yes, but I had immediately healed.. That is how I got Hydra's attention."

Loki immediately dropped his slice.

" What?"

" Hydra took you, because of me.."

" What do you mean?"

" I casted a spell on you, when you where younger to give you some healing abilities that would last you a couple of years."

" You still aren't to blame for Hydra's decision."

" But, if I hadn't ..."

" I would have died."

Loki nodded knowing that you where right, but still couldn't help but feel guilty.

He vowed to himself that day that he would dedicate his life to loving and protecting you.

You and Loki had then proceeded to talk for what felt like hours.

He shared with you stories about Asgard, You shared some of your happy childhood memories.

Both of you avoided to talk about your dark pasts; not wanting to ruin the peace and harmony of your current conversation.

Despite the amount of hours you had slept you still found yourself falling asleep once again, but this time while resting on your soulmates shoulder.

Your body still felt so tired

He just felt so safe.

It was the perfect combination.

Meanwhile he couldn't stop looking at the women resting on his shoulder. It all felt unreal.

She was everything he imagined and more.

He truly felt complete and at peace.

For the first time in a long time, he too felt safe enough to sleep.

" See , I told you no harm would come to her." Natasha said to the team as they watched the couple from the screen.

" You still shouldn't have let her go unsupervised." Bucky grunted.

" It is against our nature to harm our soulmates James, not even hulk would dare hurt my Natasha."

" I am just so happy." Shouted Thor.

" This team will be the death of me." Tony said with a roll of his eyes.

Chapter 10: Surprise visit

" Y/N wake up''

I groaned as I heard my name being called.

'' I thought waking up in an actual bed would make you less cranky'' Bucky smirked.

I let out another groan not wanting to be woken up, my body just felt so tired; yes this was a very comfortable bed; it was basically the only bed I have been in for the past several years, however I feel more tired than I've ever been.

'' please just let me sleep for a few more hours''

'' Y/N, you have been sleeping for the past 15 hours!"

I quickly opened my eyes with astonishment at the news.

'' That long?"

'' Your body was basically in fight or flight mode all this time and I guess yesterday was the first time you felt semi safe leading to your body shutting down and wanting to sleep for all these hours or that's just my guess." another voice spoke up.

I turned my head to find the source only to find that it was Captain America, or as he insisted for me to call him Steve. I looked at my cellmate with confusion wondering why he was in my room with him.

'' Sorry, while you were asleep me and Steve had a lot of catching up to do and I guess I need to catch you up to speed or we need to catch you up to speed about me.''

' What is going on, are you OK?''

'' I found out who I really am."

" Did, you get your memories back?''

'' Not, really although I think I'm starting to get glimpses.''

I looked at Bucky with confusion not understanding what's he meant, that's when Steve came in and intervened and told me the story of how my cellmate became The Winter Soldier; who apparently is also named James Barnes.

'' whoa and I thought my story was weird."

'' so at least I have a name to call you with finally, do you prefer James or Bucky? "

'' I don't think I'm comfortable being called Bucky just yet it feels too intimate I don't feel like I am that person, I think I prefer being called James for now.''

I could see Steve smiling with sadness, at James's confession.

'' Well I hope that one day you remember and feel like the Bucky that I know and have known all my life.''

both men smiled at each other, but soon my stomach interrupted there sentimental moment when it's let out a loud growl.

" It is a good thing I got you breakfast " James said as he places a tray on my bed

It was plate full of food that I hadn't eaten in years.

Eggs, Toast , orange juice and sausages.

I could feel the tears in my eyes forming.

This was the breakfast that mum would cook for me and dad before she died.

" Thank you James." I said as I gave him a hug; knowing that he remembered this piece of information.

" Anything for my best girl."

" I am glad you had each other in Hydra, you make a cute couple." Steve commented; leaving me and James with shocked and slightly disgusted faces.

" A couple?? "

" Steve, she is like my little sister."

" I am sorry, I just assumed..."

" You assumed wrong... I met y/n when she was 10 .. I watched her grow up."

" Okay, well I better clear that up with the team."

" Does everyone think we are together?" I asked.

Steve gave a slight nod.

Oh god, did Loki think so too?

Wait why did I care what he thinks?

" Steve will clear it up doll, just enjoy your breakfast."

" Well I will leave you guys for now." Steve said as he got up.

I immediately started digging into my food enjoying every bite, when I started thinking about if Loki had been given food or not.

" What are you thinking about?"

" If Someone brought up food for Loki"

James rolled his eyes

" Don't concern yourself with that."

" I can't help it.."

" You and your big heart."

After finishing my plate I weirdly felt sleepy again and James took notice.

" Do you want to rest again?"

I nodded at him .

" I will leave you for a max of 2 more hours, then I will drag you out."

" Thank you... James can you please do me a small favor?"

" Sure"

" Can you please make sure that Loki ate?"

" Do I have too?"

" Please" I pleaded

" Fineee"

Loki had been restlessly pacing.

Y/n had promised him to come back after her short visit. It had been over 16 hours since she came and he was starting to worry.

Was she okay? Did she decide he wasn't worth her time?

Suddenly, he heard the doors open and his pacing stopped hoping that it was his mate.

His hopes where soon shattered when he saw that it was that idiotic solider.

" What an unexpected surprise..."

" Trust me , I am not thrilled about it either."

" Then why are you here?"

" y/n sent me to make sure you had some food."

James said as he passes the tray of food in the small space of the glass door.

" Why didn't she come herself?"

" She is still tired, she is currently sleeping."

" Is.. she okay?"

James looked at Loki with a curious stare.

" She is doing fine giving the circumstances."

" Thank you for the food."

" Thank y/n , I only did it for her."

" You still could have refused.."

" I could have.. but I guess I wanted to have a little chat."

" About?"

" Listen, you Alien freak.. y/n has had a horrible life so far, she has endured and seen stuff that no human should experience. If it where up to me I would have not let her engage with you in any way, but since I cannot do that I will just give you a small heads up.. if you ever hurt her in any way I will kill you.. even if it's the last thing I do. Y/n is my family and I will always protect her."

" Your silly threats mean nothing to me , you robotic freak. However, if it makes you feel any better; I will never harm her that is not my intention.

The solider nodded before leaving the god alone in the cell once again.

Chapter 9: one step forward

You had always fantasized about the day you finally got to escape Hydra. You had imagined a million different scenarios and circumstances. However, a Handsome god who also happened to be your soulmate taking over earth leading you to your path of escape and forced to join the avengers; was not something that had even crossed your mind.

It still does not even feel real. Yet here you are following another handsome god to meet your soulmate that is imprisoned for trying to DESTROY EARTH. Oh my god, your soulmate is evil.

He has killed over 80 people, destroyed many homes, allowed aliens to harm and torture hundreds of others. Your soulmate was evil, and here you where about to ignore that fact just for the possibility of someone to love you.

Your soulmate was no different than the men who kept you and many others a prisoner for years; all for the greater good.

" Lady Y/N, is something wrong?" Thor asked when he noticed her footsteps diminishing.

" My soulmate is evil."

" Lady...."

" I do not want to go anywhere near him."

" You just need to talk with him first, please"

" No, Thor I cannot, I can't" I said as I started shaking.

" Lady, Please!"

" She said NO." Bucky intervened.

" I know my brother has done some questionable choices, but please here him out I promise you that there is more to the story."

I looked at my cell mate , not knowing what to do. My heart really wanted me to get to know him, but my brain and body where screaming at me to run away. My cell mate was ready to take me away and was pleading for me to not go and talk to Loki. Then there was Thor who looked at me with so much hope that I could not bear to break.

" Okay..." I said hesitantly.

Thor looked relived.

" But, I need him with me." I said pointing at Bucky.

Thor widened his eyes and shook his head.

" Lady Y/N..."

" I won't be able to go through with it without him." I stated.

Thor simply nodded not wanting to push too hard. He just prayed that his brother will not react too negatively.

I could feel her near me.

It has been about an hour since I have asked my brother to bring her to me.

It seems that he has succeeded, since I can feel her getting closer.

I could feel her energy all day, but it is getting much stronger. I could feel her fear and anxiety, I could also swear that I could hear her thoughts for a second.

I finally heard the doors open and when I looked up; I finally saw her!

This time I actually got to enjoy her beauty, she was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in all the nine realms.

Her face was so captivating, her hair had this natural glow that followed her everywhere, and her body was....

Loki stop it!

Have a god damn conversation with her first before starting to fantasize about her; especially since she definitely looked very uncomfortable and afraid.

He suddenly saw an arm on her shoulder squeezing her for re-assurance. An arm that belonged to the vial solider that he already hated with a pure passion.

" What is he doing here? "

" I go where she goes!"

My blood boiled!

" How dare you? You mewling Midgardian." I yelled, Instantly regretting it when I saw her flinch at my tone of voice and slowly going near the solider.

" Brother, calm down."

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to try and do just that.

" I apologize, I was just taken by surprise." I said directing my words to Y/N.

She nodded at me hesitantly.

" So, we are soulmates?" She asked in a quite voice.

" The universe has decided that, yes"

She rolled her eyes at my reply.

" How have you not aged significantly?"

" Why did you attack earth?"

We both asked at the same time.

" Ladies, first." I said with a smirk.

" Thank you, that's why you will answer my question." She said returning the smirk.

" I do not feel comfortable sharing this information with anyone, but you."

" I won't be able to feel safe alone with you, until I know."

It broke my heart, knowing that she had little trust in me.

" Very well." I sighed.

" For reasons I will not explain now, I had decided to take my own life..."

Y/N's eyes immediately widened at his confession.

" However, my plan obviously failed and I found myself stuck with a very powerful creature named Thanos; he did a lot of things to increase the pain and anger that where within me."

Concern flashed across both Y/N and Thor's eyes.

" He then used the scepter to enhance my anger even more.... I could only see red, and nothing else; until I saw you Y/n''

Y/N came closer to me until only the glass was between us.

" Thank you for explaining." she said with a small smile.

" So, why are you so young?"

Her smile immediately disappeared.

" I.. I.. " she stuttered.

" I was experimented on by Hydra and they would freeze us A lot to preserve us for as long as possible."

I could feel my body shaking with anger at the new found information. I wanted to know more, I wanted to know the name of every person that dared to hurt her in any way so that I can get them and tear them limb from limb. However, I decided not to press on other details now as I could see her eyes glazing from tears that she was holding back.

" I am sorry that happened to you."

" It is not your fault."

I looked away knowing that it was... I could have truly checked if she had died or not. I could have fought my father harder on the matter.. I could have protected her.

" I think I have to leave now..." She said

" So, soon?"

" It was a long day.. I think I need to rest."

" Will you come again?" I asked hopefully

She nodded at me and smiled.

" Yes, I promise I will come to you as soon as I wake up tomorrow"

" I will be waiting"

Chapter 8: Soul what?

Thor was now on a mission.

A mission to help restore the good in his brother.

To restore the relationship that they once shared, a relationship that was not filled with all of this anger and hatred.

They where once inseparable after all.

His anger and hatred at the world all started when his brother presumed the death of his soulmate , along with the revaluation of his heritage and his father's harsh words had pushed his brother to the edge.

While His father had given up on Loki, Thor did not.

He now had Y/N to help him heal his brother, but first he needed to catch both Y/N and the Avengers with the new revelations.

Thor marched with determination to the meeting room where the team was still at conversing with one another.

He looked to see where Y/N was at; only to find her sitting next to the quite solider with her head resting on his shoulder.

Thor quickly thanked the world that Loki was not here to witness this, knowing how his brother did not need any new triggers for his already present jealousy.

However, he needed to know what the relationship between the two was, because he had a feeling that the solider had brotherly instincts towards Y/N and nothing more; he just hoped that it was the case.

" Friends I have come bearing some news"

The whole team looked at Thor, waiting to see what the god had to say.

" I have talked with Loki and He wasn't the mastermind behind the plan. A man by the name of Thanos a very powerful Titan has forced him to take part in the destruction that he caused."

Tony scoffed

" Thor, don't be naive you expect us to believe the god of lies and mischief? He is trying to fool you, you fool!"

" My brother speaks the truth." Thor stated angrily.

" Tony has a point Thor, forgive us if we cannot simply take his word for it." Steve stated to try and cool the tension that was already building.

" I am not saying my brother is completely innocent, I am just stating that he is not a threat."

" How can you say that? " Tony yelled.

" Have none of you asked yourselves why he surrendered?"

" oh woopie, He surrendered after destroying half of the city."

" He has a point though " Natasha said.

" Now you are in his side?"

" I am not on his side Tony, I am merely curious on why he did surrender."

" Why did he surrender? " The captain asked.

Thor looked at Y/N hesitantly.

" Y/N is his Soulmate."

Both Y/N and Bucky perked up and looked alarmed.

" SOUL WHAT?" The solider Yelled.

" I agree with the dude with the metal arm, What!!" Tony said while looking frantically around the room.

Everyone again was engaged in conversation about the new revelation.

" There is no way that monster is her soulmate."

" That is just another one of his tricks"

" She is just a Kid."

" She is not going anywhere near him."

" Everyone STOP." You yelled.

" I appreciate your concerns, but everyone needs to stop speaking for me."

" I appreciate your concern, but if I decide to see him that is my decision." Y/N told the solider.

" As for the rest of you, I am not a kid I am much older than I look."

" And Thor, I believe you I weirdly did feel a glimpse of this connection when I saw him."

Thor smiled happy that Loki's soulmate was able to make her own decisions and was open to the idea.

" Please take me to him, I think me and him need to talk."

" I am coming with you." Bucky stated.

" I don't think you should." Thor said.

" How about you stay near us ?" I suggested.

Bucky nodded a bit satisfied with this middle ground.

" Follow me, My lady."

With that both you and Bucky followed the tall man outside.

Chapter 7: The hard truth.

I need to see her! I need to make sure she is okay.

I have to find a way out of this place.

I look at the round glass container the Avengers trapped me in, to try and find any way for me to escape, but with both my hands tied I couldn't do much.

I couldn't even scream threatening words towards those imbeciles as they had chained my mouth like they would have chained a dog.

I could feel my blood boiling with both feat and anger.

Who did they think they are? Tying up my soul mate after she selflessly helped them.

That however left the question of how did she help them? I gave her the power to heal herself, but that should not have lasted more than 5-8 years at the most; let alone conjure her healing abilities onto others.

Speaking of, she looks much younger than she should be.

She looks anywhere between 18-23 I could estimate in their human years.

Also, what did she mean when she said " I can't go back there again".

Moreover, who the hell was the man that was constantly next to her.

I could feel my mind about to explode from all of the questions.

I try again and again to break the chains on my hands, but they wouldn't bloody budge.

I let out a muffled scream at the predicament that I was in.

I was about to bang my head against the wall when Suddenly someone cleared their throat.

I turned around only to find that it was my idiotic brother.

" I don't think your head needs any more beatings, god knows you have already lost it" he chuckled at me.

I rolled my eyes at him and gave him a death glare seeing that I couldn't voice my annoyance.

" No need to kill me with those death stares brother, I will remove your mouth guard so we can have a proper conversation."

With that Thor pressed a button in his hand that made the metallic guard fall of me with a thud.

Thor could obviously see how I was about to attack him with my words, so he immediately started the conversation again.

" Y/N is safe and is free of any chains or cuffs" The blond god started.

" However, we need to talk more about what you did to Midgard before anything else."

" I do not owe you or anyone any explanation." I said bitterly.

" Now is not the time to be so hostile brother, I need you to collaborate with me so I can help you."

" What makes you think I need any help from a lowlife like you?"

Thor could feel his anger levels rise at his brothers ways, but tried to calm himself down.

" Loki, I am only trying to be your brother."

" You are not my brother." I simply stated.

Thor's anger and hurt got the better of him and be decided to get up and leave.

" Fine, be like that. The Winter solider is definitely a much more suitable companion for Y/N"

I could feel my breath stop at his words. I knew Thor was not lying. I could see the care that stupid soldier had in his eyes for my soulmate. MINE.

I couldn't let them develop more.

" Thanos took me." I said quickly to make Thor stop right before the door.

He quickly turned around to face me once again.

" What?"

" I did mean to die that night on the bridge, but I fell in Thano's lap "

" Did he force you to do all of this?"

I didn't answer him, the memories still too fresh and too painful to recall.

" Thank you for telling me brother."

I nodded at him.

" Please let me see her" I asked desperately.

" I will see what I can do."

Chapter 6: Too many questions, Too little answers.

" We are not going to hurt you" Natasha said, but you could not hear her, your heart was pounding hard, you could hardly breathe and before you knew it you blacked out.

I woke up to find myself in a hospital bed, with too many bright lights; still disoriented I try to move out of the bed only to find my hands handcuffed to the bed railing. My heart starts pounding at an alarming rate once again and the machine attached to me was beeping loudly.

Before I could start hyperventilating, the redheaded women from the battle came into the room.

" Please do not be afraid, we will not harm you in any way."

I scoffed at her and looked at the handcuffs

" I am here to let you out of them ;I promise. Shield cleared you."

" Shield ?"

" will explain later, now we need to get you out of this room and reunite you with your little winter soldier before he tries to kill another person from the team"

She got out a key from her pocket and removed the cuff from my hand.

I immediately stretched my wrists and then followed her out of the room.

" I swear to god , if y/n is not here in the next minute I kill all of you" the winter solider screamed at the rest of the avengers.

" Natasha is bringing her buck "

The soldier turned his neck to Steve and look at him with anger filling his eyes " Stop calling me that"

Steve sighed letting go of this subject temporarily.

Natasha coughed from behind the team to finally announce our presence and as soon as I made eye contact with my cell mate I ran up to him as he gave me a big hug.

I smiled as I felt slightly safer , considering he is the only One I trust.

The god with the golden hair looked at us with slight discomfort and annoyance and then came between us to shake my hand.

" Allow me to introduce myself in better circumstance my lady; my name is Thor of Asgard"

I nodded at him and then cam back again

to the soldiers side.

" So, We are sorry that we had to handcuff you, but that is our protocol." Iron man started.

" Your little organization cleared us, so can we now leave ? ". Bucky asked in an a fake calm tone

" I am afraid you can't just go " Tony started " You both are enhanced humans , a healer and a 100 year old super soldier , and shield has been tracking you for a while, and well unfortunately they decided that you have to either stay with us the avengers or stay on their base "

" We are not your property " Bucky shouted

" We aren't the bad guys here, this is for your safety " Tony argued back.

And soon both of them went into a screaming match while Steve stood between them.

I could feel myself shaking again, this was not how things would go.

Escaping Hydra only to be a prisoner once again, I sat down at the nearest chair when I felt my legs getting weaker and I found Thor come near me.

" My lady , are you okay? "

I nodded at him , without looking him in the eyes.

I could feel the tears threatening to escape, but I held them in.

" ENOUGH " Yelled Thor

" Your banter is scaring y/n"

Bucky looked at me with a guilty look on his face and came to me.

" I am sorry y/n" he said as he gave me a quick kiss on my forehead.

I nodded at him and held his hand to feel some sort of safety. His comfort gave me enough strength to start talking to the people in the room.

" So our only options are either being prisoners for the avengers or prisoner's for this Shield "

" Neither of you are prisoners " Steve said as Bucky scoffed at his words.

" We will never force you to do anything , you will have a home here and a family if you will let us."

" How can we trust you ? " I asked

" The same way you trusted us when you decided to heal us in battle "

He had a point ;I didn't need to heal them , but I did.

" Besides , I highly doubt you guys have a safe place to stay away from Hydra" Tony stated

Me and Bucky looked at each other knowing that he was a hundred percent right.

" Alright, we will stay with you ,but under a few conditions " Bucky said

Steve nodded at him to continue.

" You will never force y/n into battle unless she is comfortable "

I smiled at his care for me.

" Secondly, you need to help get Hydra out of my head"

" Deal " Steve said as he extended his arm to my cell mate.

" Welcome to the avengers " Natasha said.

Chapter 5: Bittersweet Reunions

~New York, 2012~

After Thor had quickly punched his brother in order to protect the healer, he immediately understood why his brother had hesitated in the first place. The healer has the same soul mark as Loki, but didn't his brother feel her perish?

"Thor we need you on the field" The captain said through communications. Thor looked at the healer and his unconscious brother and said " The team needs me, when he wakes up convince him to close the portal"

" What? no, you can't leave me with him I am not a fighter"

Thor smiled and said " Trust me, he will not harm you" with that the he took his hammer and flew away.

You shouted at him to come back, but to no avail.

Your shouts apparently woke up the raven haired god and you had tried to slowly back away from him in fear.

He noticed the fear in your eyes and you could have sworn that you saw sadness in his eyes at your reaction towards him.

" I will not harm you" He said

" I am supposed to believe you?" You said whilst trying to hide your fear

"Y/N... I"

" How do you know my name?"

He looked at you hesitantly, and started shaking his head.

" I cannot tell you, but what I can assure you is that I will not harm you I swear"

" How do you close the portal?" I asked

" Using my sphere"

" How am I supposed to trust you?"

The handsome god came towards you trying to hand you the sphere, but you quickly flinched thinking he was going to attack you.

He looked t you sadly and handed you his weapon and said " I surrender"

" Let me take you to the source of the portal" he said as he walked in front of you and you hesitantly followed.

" Just put the sphere inside of it and it will close"

You did as the young god asked, praying that it was not a trap. You could feel a huge resistance between the source of the portal and the long weaponry thing you held. As soon as the sphere made contact you could feel it creating a blast that would have pushed you away, but instead you found yourself protected inside a green mist that made you avoid the blast.

Before you could wonder why he had protected you from the blast or why he surrendered to you in the first place, you saw your cellmate the winter soldier quickly jump over Loki and attack him.

Loki quickly started using his magic and threw your friend all across the floor. Before either of them could make another move, you quickly stepped in between them.

Loki stopped as soon as he saw you, but the soldier did not. You quickly faced him and held his face to make him look at you.

" He surrendered, he said he is not going to harm anyone"

" I only said I will not harm you!" The god yelled from behind you. You gave him the are you kidding me look and then proceeded to look at your friend once again.

" I cannot believe they left you with that monster, we are going now." He said as he grabbed your arm and started pulling you away

" She is not going anywhere" Loki said while grabbing your other arm.

Fear instantly hit your body at both of the men's sudden contact, but you tried to hide it as much as you could.

" Don't you dare touch her" The solider shouted, and before things could have gotten out of hand once again, the rest of the avengers had came onto the roof, and immediately chained the young god and put a guard on his mouth. For some reason that sight bothered you, but you did not understand why.

Suddenly you found your hands being bound too as well as your cell mate.

" What? we did not do anything wrong"

" I am sorry it is protocol" Steve said to you

" As soon as we land on base and shield trusts you, we will let you both go"

You could feel the tears in your eyes, you had just escaped Hydra only to go back to it again..

" No, no please I do not want to go back there" You said with tears in your eyes.

Loki immediately tried to come towards you, but found that his bounds did not allow him to move without permission.

" We are not going to hurt you" Natasha said, but you could not hear her, your heart was pounding hard, you could hardly breathe and before you knew it you blacked out.
