Hi, Thank you so much for your tutorials! They're really helpful! Can you please make a tutorial about how to append shoes, specially high heels ? I searched and I couldn't find any. I'd appreciate if you help me with that!

Shoes in blender are a bit of a bitch I won't lie.

Here is a good tutorial on how to append non-heeled shoes, but I know you specifically asked for heels.

When I have more time I'll sit down and write a written tutorial with screenshots, but I hope this helps for now!

Hello! I learned how to do basic single sim rendering through your tutorials a couple days ago, and I’ve been having a lot of fun. If you’re still answering questions, I’d like to ask how to add assets necessary for certain poses? For example, I have seen some poses that require cigarettes or wands that I really wanna use, but I have no idea how to import those things into blender and use them with my sim? If you don’t mind answering this, thank you so much!

Hey! I absolutely don’t mind answering, and I’ll be more than happy to put together a tutorial for this specifically soon, but the process is pretty simple let me list it out for you. 

(It works the same as appending jewelry & clothing, which I have tutorials for here and here, but I’ll explain in this post as well!) 

Ok I’ll use a cigarette as an example (since I often use them so much for Ariss lmao). When you find a pose post with a needed accessory (the cigarette in this case), make sure you download it along with the pose.

After that, you need to open the cigarette accessory up in Sims 4 Studio, then export the Mesh and Texture from that so you can open them in Blender (I’ve outlined this process in the jewelry appending tutorial linked above). 

Then you’ll append the cigarette accessory into your blender scene by clicking: 

File -> Append -> find the accessory .blend file -> click into the “object” folder -> select the “studio_mesh”. 

Sometimes there are more than one studio_mesh files, select and append all of them! 

Then you’ll apply the texture nodes as usual, then in the Modifiers panel you’ll Append the accessory to your sim and you’re done! 

I’m sorry this isn’t more in-depth, I’m not able to put together a specific tutorial for this at the moment, but I’ll post one hopefully next week!

This looks great! Excellent first render! The skin looks a little glowy which I figured out how to fix and amended the tut - to avoid this make sure you adjust your roughness!

But for a first attempt this is fantastic! I can't wait to see what you'll do next!

Details:

CYCLES ONLY (not at all optimized or even tested in Eevee)

Texture heavy, use caution if trying to use this scene on older machines

Includes spicy items that are completely optional, if you'd rather not include them, turn off the "lewd" folder

TOU:

DO NOT CLAIM AS YOUR OWN OR REUPLOAD

Feel free to add in additional cameras/camera angles

Hiii! I just have a question. I’m going to try and do a ts3 render. Is it very different or difficult compared to ts4 renders? What do I use to export the sim and the poses? You play the game since ts1 so I hope you don’t mind this ask 🥹

I've been playing the game since ts1 but hadn't dipped my toes into the rendering process until ts4 so unfortunately I have no idea where to even begin when it comes to a ts3 render.
