I just found out about a ghost town in Minnesota name Pomme de Terre - literally the French word for potato :)

I was playing the Minecraft april fools update and found a block called Terre de Pomme so I googled the translation (guess it's backwards?)

Wiki took me to an article about a ghost town built near the Pomme de Terre river- for which the town was named - and they even had a fort nearby named 'Fort Pomme de Terre' - Literally 'Fort Potato'!

So to clarify, there is a town in Minnesota named Potato, built on the banks of the Potato River, and watched over by Fort Potato!

This is the greatest day of my life!

Me and girlfriend @silversquirl were just talking about the Papal Mainframe from Doctor Who, and she said it literally translates to "Computer Pope" And I can't get over it :D It juts sounds so dumb when you say it like that. Needless to say - I shall be referring to them as the "Church of the Computer Pope" from now on :)
