to whom it may concern, my queue ran out the other day, [ friday to be exact ], n I haven’t been in game since the recent update, too afraid tbh. so, I’ve just been over here cleaning out my mods since I heard doors, windows + beds are broken while updating my gameplay mods. Cher made it to Tartosa, found an empty lot by the water to call her own, and tried to teach Pepper how to fetch!

you didn’t grow up in the happiest or most functional of households. and so you moved out as soon as you could. now it’s just you, your dog, and your shitty job. you’re kind of an asshole, but you can’t help it – it’s a deep-seated defense mechanism from your past. other people can’t hurt you if you hurt them first, right? but as you grow older, you start to realize that, more than anything, you want the loving family you never had. if only you could find someone who could make it past your terrible social skills in order to see the big heart you have hidden underneath.

× start the generation as a teen on an empty lot. × drop out of high school using a mod, or just simply don’t go. × make money from the retail career + dumpster diving, fishing, collectibles, anything, just never get a proper full time job. you never finished high school, after all. × be mean and rude to everyone you come across until you meet your spouse. × when you age up into young adult, meet and woo a sim of your choice (optional: they have the good trait.) × have at least three kids and have at least ‘friends’ level relationship with all of them.

Cher’s mom was always drunk and didn’t pay much attention to her as she was a functioning alcoholic. She paid more attention to the bottle and men more than she ever did Cher.. Growing up Cher was always picking up empty wine bottles, because her mom said if she was going to be a drunk that she might as well be a classy one. That statement never made much sense to Cher, but then again her mom never made much sense at all. When her mom wasn’t drunk or passed out she was verbally abusive to Cher, she would call her a mistake and that she would never amount to anything..   Her mom never cooked, cleaned, or anything that a normal good mother does. It was always up to Cher to find a way to get money so she could survive.. However, on one warm summer night… she took everything she could fit into a backpack and Pepper [ her Dalmatian ], and left it all behind…

hi! i hope im not bothering you but I was wondering if you could do a tutorial or point me in the direction of one on how you made your gameplay layout here please?

hi! you’re not bothering me at all! 💛 i’m not that great at explaining things but i will try my best! 

I hope you know the basics of photoshop! 😅💛

⇩ so let’s get into it! ⇩

what I do first is open a new document & this is what I selected;

then I resize the image to 1000pixels, make a new layer [ layer > new ], and unlock the background layer so it’s invisible;

after I zoom the image in a lil [ because it’s easier for me😅 ], I grab the rectangle tool, make a rectangle and then color fill it to black;

next I changed the corners from 0px to 50px [ this is my personal preference, you can change it to whatever number you think looks best to you ];

then i go to edit > transform > skew, & play with it until I’m happy with how it looks. after that I go to edit > transform, again, but this time I selected distort, grabbed one of the rectangle corners, & dragged the corner down until I was happy with the result. [ I also messed with perspective ] here is what mine looks like so far;

now how it looks is completely up to you, mess with it until you’re satisfied! anyway, after I got done messing around with it, I saved it as a PSD, [ so later I could edit it if i wanted to ], I opened another new document and did this all over again but this time when I went to edit > transform, I selected flip horizontally & then flip vertically. It should look like the exact opposite of what you just did like so;

DONT FORGET TO SAVE AS A PSD FOR EACH ONE!!

you can stop here if you want but for me I made yet another new document, resized, & then dragged both of these templates to the new document so i could have it all together!
