Hi, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. Gaza has been has been bombarded, cut form electricity, not received aid, etc. So how do we get pictures and videos of what's happening there? Because surely , Israel would've cut internet at the same time than electricity.

I'm not trying to deny what's happening in Palestine , just understanding better. Where I live there's not coverage or news about it in the media so all I know is from social medias and we all know we can't trust everything on here.

I think that’s a fair question to have.

Palestinians have always had to be creative when it comes to finding ways of survival.

For starters, when this aggression was in its early stages, telecom companies like PalTel would assure everyone that their coverage is built to last longer than other companies because, according to their CEO, they have been preparing for war for 15 years. For example, contrary to what other telecom companies do, PalTel run their cables way deeper than necessary to ensure less effects of bombing.

Later though, even PalTel had to go out of service for the most part due to Israel’s relentless bombing. Not to mention, Israel deliberately targets and kills telecom company workers who even try to repair damages to what remained of the network.

Now, the only viable option that Palestinians in Gaza have to connect with the outside world is in fact through e-SIMs. This initiative was started by Egyptian activist Mirna El Helbawi which you can actually donate to and help connect people in Gaza to reach their loved ones and to get help when needed. We hear stories every day of people not being able to notify the civil defense or medics about wounded people following airstrikes who later succumb to their injuries.

As for electricity, at the beginning of all of this carnage, people would use generators. This is actually quite a normal practice as the electricity in Gaza was never provided consistently so people would switch to generators regularly. However, generators are powered by fuel, which is something else that Israel cut off the strip.

So when people and shops ran out of fuel, people started utilising solar panels and continue to do that as their main source to charge phones. Some people would even start applying a fee to allow people to use their charging stations, which are usually set up in tents or on top of cars. Others would walk miles every day to access free solar powered charging stations to be able to charge their phones.

Still, Israel started targeting solar panels specifically so they are not as widely available as before and the dust and debris from bombing rendered a lot of those panels useless. Some people started using car batteries to set up charging stations now. 

With all of that, connections are weak and spotty and some people literally travel to other areas under so much threat just so they can connect and hear the voices of their loved ones. I was actually watching a video earlier today that shows people going on hilltops, raising their arms up hoping to "catch" a signal. 

When it comes to the pictures and videos, remember that what you’re seeing, with all its magnitude, is a drop in a sea of Israeli terror against Gaza. Journalists have literally sacrificed their lives trying to get the word out. Kids started to record and share videos because even they realise that this horror is too much for them to bear alone. This is why it is crucial to amplify their voices and share their stories because they’re literally doing it in the most impossible of situations.

i’ve always wondered about what the power is behind the thema mundi. the thema mundi is considered the birth chart of the universe (which has always sounded batshit insane to me). the cancer rising at 15° was characterized by ancient mesopotamian/egyptian societies and their usage of sirius at this position. calendars centered around sirius denoted the beginning of flooding season and reaping of agriculture. it was associated with the creation of all things because of how bright the dog star is. it’s pretty awesome how it’s always remained the brightest star in the sky.

everyone who got their hands on this chart acknowledged the thema mundi as archeological lore. it formed the conceptual framework of the essential dignities since it shows the planets at their purest expression. regardless of the culture, sirius is simultaneously seen as the mouth of a wolf (sometimes Orion’s dog) and a little virgin. with that being said, sirius is also highly conceptual. it is the same entity that will fuck you up with its martian nature and tell you it’s okay with its jupiterian promises (ptolemy claimed sirius to have these influences). it’s a lot like a siren’s voice, except, it’s a hungry wolf bearing its teeth.

sagittarius venus and jupiter appreciation post

sagittarius jupiter and venus are devotional as hell. devotion is about keeping your faith at a steady pace in moments of desperation. it’s about perservering without any obligation to.

sagittarius’s 4H is in its domicile there. it can devote for reasons that feel obvious for them. some can be heavy on worshipping their ancestors. the 6H is venus ruled, meaning, it keeps consistency with its principles. it does not backtrack into immorality when it is cornered. it is in its detriment in the 10th; others find these folks provocative because they are very trial and error (sometimes at the downfall of others). others also do not see or respect their devotion because of this.

Sagittarius in general are all or nothing. its only essential dignities are a domicile and a detriment, no exaltations or falls. their detriment is MERCURY. they cannot think through decisions for their life. in fact, i don’t think they should. their domicile in jupiter endows them with excellent intuition and luck. thank god sagittarius is mutable, right? there are no saturnian angles for the mutable signs; sagittarius feels less repercussions if they do fuck up. sagittarius is always working towards a bigger picture (much like jupiter) even if they realize it or not (this is more applicable to venus). no saturnian angles also gives them that “no obligation to anything ever” attitude

sag jupiter is described above to a T. sag venus, however, gets lost very easy. they are a peregrine venus. they need to look within themselves and love it, but they may have a harder time doing so. their life journey feels much more pointless than a sag jupiter would say for themselves. sag venus must remember that their 4H is exalted by venus.

sag venus, you must love where you come from and who you are on top of loving someone else. you must PREFER your own company. you must understand that you have the choice to build your own roots with the power of your 4H. you do not have to lean into your 10H and give a single fuck if people want to tell you or each other if you belong here or not

i’m tired of people disproportionately targeting lesbians and trying to pick out “deeper issues” within their community. it’s almost never that serious. today i saw someone had a bone to pick with les4les & how it can foster biphobia

i think the true deeper issue at play is how society will never favor non men. it will always favor men. i have never seen anyone call out gay men exclusively going for gay men. why?

in fact, i don’t think we can ever be free. but we can start with these stereotypes of “bi men are too scared to say they’re gay” “bi women are straight women trying to experiment. we all know they like men & are trying to appeal to them”.

i think all these callouts on the lesbian community are highly driven by subtle patriarchal attitudes. i encourage people to think twice before sharing criticisms of non men within the LGBTQ+ community

1H: what does their stature look like? are they lanky, plump, or boxy? what does their jawline look like? are their eyes soft or sharp? what do their mannerisms look like? do they make short and erratic movements? do they sit still? are they a slow or fast walker? what does their walking look like? who are they at face value?

2H: what does a person denote valuable enough to keep as a possession? what objects would a person want to protect? how do they spend their money? one good question to ask is, if this person were given 10K, how would they use that money? would they use the 10K to keep themselves afloat, as in, mundane purchases? would they purchase a luxury bag? would they treat their friends to a nice dinner and drinks? would they throw it into their 401K, IRA, or a CD? would they purchase gold? do they purchase gold for just looks, or do they think about the investment?

3H: what podcasts do they listen to? what is another persons normal? do they cook regularly? is their normal having their college tuition paid for by parents? is their normal baking cookies for the neighbors? do they know their neighbors or dart their eyes away when they see their neighbors? how was this person in elementary school? what regular phrases does this person say? when saying goodbye, do they smile? do they say “see you later”? do they fistbump? do they make goodbyes short? do they tend to batman away? note: the 3H gives you a lot of information about a person that is likely not of interest to the recipient. of course telling someone what their routines are is boring! it’s like telling someone they go to the grocery store biweekly

4H: what does their childhood house look like? how did that impact their home now? what are their roommates like? do they tend to befriend their roommates or coexist? are they constantly living with tons of random people, or people they knew before? was this person sheltered growing up? did their parents let them get hurt so they could learn a lesson? if you know this person, how do you think their childhood shows the roots of their behavior? are their parents critical of them or do they congratulate every achievement? would they live with a partner? do they have to work instead spending time with the kids? what could their ancestors have been like? what could their grandma be like? does the 4H show a predisposition to behaviors and habits?

you’d be correct in saying that. deciphering a language out of something whose physical nature is far beyond human comprehension is utter bullshit! point blank period!!! there is no universal formula to make accurate predictions with astrology. not one person on this earth has ever had a 100% predictive astrology accuracy rate (See: Exhibit A, the Only exhibit)

⇨ exhibit A: you’d have to be god reincarnate + a history buff to give a thorough prediction of what this 29° capricorn pluto implies for election season. take this transit as context behind political observations. this is not a prescriptive or highly informative transit from a tropical astrology perspective.

re: exhibit A: the fact that pluto was 29° sagittarius during obama’s presidential election is likely a highly significant observation. i was a bit too young to observe obama’s presidency to draw any parallels. i’ll proceed with what my pluto predictions look like to truly show how insane it is to try to predict events using a slow burn outer planet. granted, i do make incredibly wild predictions all the time.
