I just want a new SW show that doesn't have Filoni on the production staff is all. I was hoping that the upcoming San Francisco convention would show new SW stuff, but at the same time, I'm not getting my hopes up either.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Filoni's going to be even more difficult to get away from after today, because he just got promoted to Chief Creative Officer, which is a huge step up from where he was before, meaning he'll be even more involved in pretty much all the major Star Wars stuff (which are the shows and likely movies) and from earlier on in their production. And so we all have to either enjoy what we will of his, make our peace with it, or maybe step away from Star Wars for awhile. To be honest, though, Disney has said that they're going to slow down on how much stuff they've been putting out--they've been way overspending to try to get Disney+ up to speed and the ratings for the latest shows haven't been knock-out hits. They're fine! Strong, even. But not "hit the ball out of the park" ratings that would sustain the kind of money they've been spending. So, it's hard to say what the future of Star Wars TV is going to look like, but if Filoni really bothers you, you might have to take some steps back, because he's going to be even more involved now.
