What started out as a twist on Robin Hood turned into an action-packed, high-stakes adventure with brooding pirates, power-hungry consuls, and warring kingdoms that I could not put down. With each book in the series, I grew closer to Kemmerer’s characters and further immersed myself in the world they inhabited. All the tears I shed were worth it in the end and I look forward to reading Kemmerer’s next project.

A book trope i absolutely hate is teacherXstudent.

Why? cuz first of all it’s just not right yk and it’s very..concerning? Idk but like the age gaps, and I don’t mean like 5-10 year age gaps,I’m talking abt 15-20 year age gaps (idk I think I’m being dramatic but wtv)

Personally for me it’s disgusting. Like imagine a 20-year-old having an intimate relationship with their 35-40 year old professor-

Ik they say age is just a number and all but like there is a limit ryt? And it’s not just the age gap, it’s just weird overall. It’s like an animal (as in mammals like foxes,wolves,dogs,etc..) having an intimate relationship with a human (also hate those kind of tropes too)
