Hi! My name is Selena and I judt wanna day I am very intrested in your content so can you like info-dump me about dinosaurs? :D
*inhale*
Okay so where should I start-
Dinosaurs are divided into two main big families, based on their pelvis shape. There is Ornithischia (bird-like pelvis), who are all herbivores, and popular examples would be Triceratops or Stegosaurus, and Saurischia (reptile-like pelvis).
Saurischia then divides into three more families:
-Sauropods (pop culturally known as "long necks". Brachiosaurus for example)
-Theropods (bipedal creatures, vast majority of them is carnivorous. Examples would be Velociraptor or T-Rex)
-Prosauropods. Small group of triassic dinosaurs, that are ancestors of sauropods (the most well known one would be Plateosaurus. Picture will be added for more context :P)
Although they lived during the same time period, and misleadingly a lot of them have "saur" in their name, pterosaurs (flying reptiles) and marine reptiles ("water dinosaurs") are not the same thing as dinosaurs, because of their different pelvises. It's kind of like separating reptiles, birds and fish :D
I don't know how to continue yapping without being given specific questions, so lemme just throw in one random funfact:
The time difference between when T-rex lived and Stegosaur lived is greater than the time difference between last dinosaur and first human.
Doodle will be presented to make it more understandable
We have to make animation for a non-existing videogame. Some time back, me and my classmate were looking at pictures of corvids, and there was one eating snacks off of a tree stump. She made a joke that the crow is about to make soup, and game idea was born!
Meet Baguette, a crow with a dream:
To have the most delicious soup restaurant in the forest (which is fullfilled from the start since there are no other soup restaurants in the forest, but sometimes it's hard to gain bigger ambitions.)
This is a still far-from-finished loading screen, but I thought it looked good enough to share :D
@suffering-cookie so I got this idea randomly since throughout scrolling through your blog, most of them are about dinos so I took it upon myself to create this shitpost :0
Sorry it took so long because I'm relaxing 3 days away from class since it's so fackin hot here in the Philippines and we had to take asynchronous classes so yeah!! :D Hope ya like it lol!
This leaked jurassic park movie looking good so far 😎✨
Dinosaurs aren't extinct they just escaped to Alagadda, and Mirth is keeping the pterosaurs for crazy-wild head crests. It also explains why the dinos we found with pigmentation always had the magnum opus colors.
It all makes sense
The pterosaurs are probably not to scale, but everything's a mess in Alagadda so whatever.
