WELL. SO. Iāve been counting down for months and finally the āI Can See Youā video is out. I wrote this video treatment over a year ago and really wanted to play out symbolically how itās felt for me to have the fans helping me reclaim my music. I had my heart set on Joey King, Taylor Lautner and Presley Cash starring in it. Joey and Presley had been in the video for āMeanā when they were 9 and 13 and they are back and so ridiculously bad ass!! Taytay is INCREDIBLE in this (didnāt have a stunt double!) and shout out to Tay Lautner for being so awesome to hang with on set. The Tale of 3 Taylors š I always wanted to direct fight scenes/a heist storyline and had the most incredible time plotting this out with my amazing DP Jonathan Sela. So proud of this one.Ā

My favorite album! So so excited. Thank you @taylorswift
I know some of you thought that would be like trying to solve a crossword and realizing thereās no right answer BUTā¦you played it good & right. Congrats pals, you guessed the correct titles and feature artists on Red (my version). The vault tracks will feature Chris Stapleton, Phoebe Bridgers, Mark Foster and the first song Ed Sheeran and I ever wrote together the first time we met in 2012āļøI canāt express my gratitude enough to these artists for helping me bring these songs to life. I canāt wait til we can dust off our highest hopes and relive these memories together. Weāll also be making a bunch of new ones too, since Red (Taylorās Version) includes so many songs you havenāt heard yet. Til then, Iāll be counting down and picturing it all in my head. In burning red.
Red (Taylorās Version) out November 19. Pre-order now: http://Taylor.lnk.to/redtaylorsversionĀ

These past few months @taylorswift has been re-recording All Too Well 10 minute version (Taylorās version) and pouring her heart out for the rest of the RED album.
Meanwhile, this is what Jake Gyllenhaal has been up to this monthā¦ I think it is fair to say she has leveled up with Joe š

Iāve always said that the world is a different place for the heartbroken. It moves on a different axis, at a different speed. Time skips backwards and forwards fleetingly. The heartbroken might go through thousands of micro-emotions a day trying to figure out how to get through it without picking up the phone to hear that old familiar voice. In the land of heartbreak, moments of strength, independence, and devil-may-care rebellion are intricately woven together with grief, paralyzing vulnerability and hopelessness. Imagining your future might always take you on a detour back to the past. And this is all to say, that the next album Iāll be releasing is my version of Red.
Musically and lyrically, Red resembled a heartbroken person. It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end. Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tortured by memories past. Like trying on pieces of a new life, I went into the studio and experimented with different sounds and collaborators. And Iām not sure if it was pouring my thoughts into this album, hearing thousands of your voices sing the lyrics back to me in passionate solidarity, or if it was simply time, but something was healed along the way.
Sometimes you need to talk it over (over and over and over) for it to ever really beā¦ over. Like your friend who calls you in the middle of the night going on and on about their ex, I just couldnāt stop writing. This will be the first time you hear all 30 songs that were meant to go on Red. And hey, one of them is even ten minutes long.
Red (Taylorās Version) will be out November 19.

Iām elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folkloreās sister record, will be out tonight at midnight eastern. Itās called evermore. To put it plainly, we just couldnāt stop writing songs. To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in. Iāve never done this before. In the past Iāve always treated albums as one-off eras and moved onto planning the next one after an album was released. There was something different with folklore. In making it, I felt less like I was departing and more like I was returning. I loved the escapism I found in these imaginary/not imaginary tales. I loved the ways you welcomed the dreamscapes and tragedies and epic tales of love lost and found into your lives. So I just kept writing them. And I loved creating these songs with Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, WB, and Justin Vernon. Weāve also welcomed some new (and longtime) friends to our musical kitchen table this time aroundā¦

I canāt believe Taylor wrote a few songs about the old owners of her Rhode Island house!!! āThe Last Great American Dynasty,ā is based on the lives of Rebekah West Harkness (known as "Betty") and her husband, William Hale āBillā Harkness, whose family founded Standard Oil.
SO COOL!!! Also James and Inez are the names of Blakeās and Ryanās children! And they are in a love triangle with Betty.
I swear I donāt know how she comes up with this. THE TALENT

I feel like this album needs to be in its own category. Usually her albums are so representative of whatever is going on in her life and she lives out that āeraā. This is so different to me! Taylor is telling stories, this time not her own, but characters she created. I am trying to figure out how to correctly describe this album, but all I can say for now is that it is so unique and different. Iām so beyond impressed by her diversity and trying out new topics to be inspired by.

William Bowery, who Taylor listed as a co-writer for two songs, is possibly a pseudonym for Joe Alwyn! When you google Willās name almost nothing comes up. And apparently Taylor and Joe stayed at a hotel called the Boweryšµš»āāļøšµš»āāļø
