Assignment 4: light and darkness 2#

As I explained in the previous blog, I ended up feeling pretty frustrated and uninspired with the direction that I took the assignment, and after talking it through with Leo, we concluded that it would be better to take a different approach.

I decided to do something character related since I had been doing mostly props and environments so far. Because of the timing of the assignment (Halloween), I decided that I wanted to create a design for Jack o lantern, and Leo recommended giving it sci-fi or steampunk elements to make it stand out from other designs of the character.

I created a mood board, where I gathered images of different versions of Jack o lantern as well as images with steampunk elements.

I looked at the lighting in those images, as well as how elements like pipes, furnaces, etc create a steampunk aesthetic

Then, I came up with various silhouettes for the character:

Then out of those, I picked the tree that I thought could be more interesting and explored how they could look if lit:

I ended up liking the number 2.2 the most, so I decided to color and shade that one.

I cleaned up the design, explored some different color variations, and then added lighting to the character.

For the lighting I found this video to be really helpful.

It really helped me understand how to use lighting to show the form of the character, and I also liked how the artist made use of the lasso tool so I used that too in my drawing.

Avengers movies: Will The Avengers continue in MCU Phase 4?

The Avengers is the superhero team who fight for justice and the freedom of others. The heroes have been led in the Marvel films by Captain America and Iron Man, even if they don’t always get along. Those two characters made their exit clear in Avengers: Endgame – but will the Avengers continue?

In the Marvel comics, the first ever appearance of the superhero fighting team included Ant-Man, The Wasp, Iron Man, Thor, and The Hulk.

Captain America later joined, though gained ‘founding member’ status, while later Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver joined the group, as well as Vision, Black Knight, Black Widow and Black Panther.

This may have been the early days, however, as time went on and in different iterations, members have included Spider-Man, Wolverine and Luke Cage.

When it comes to the film series, however, the team has included members from various eras, with Captain America and Iron Man leading facets of the group, alongside Black Widow, Falcon, Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Doctor Strange, Nebula and Thor.

At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Iron Man died in the arms of his partner, Pepper Potts, while Captain America chose to become old and live a life with his first love, Agent Carter.

Thor left with the Guardians of the Galaxy, who hoped to track down their lost member, Gamora, while The Hulk’s fate was not clear.

The only character who we have seen closely since that time is Spider-Man, who is at risk of having his identity revealed, while Nick Fury is commanding a Skrull ship, sending other Skrulls to take his place on Earth.

But will the Avengers get back together again?

Certainly, as the MCU continues, fans will want to see The Avengers back together.

It is unclear whether this will take place, however, there will certainly be some superhero ensemble movies to quench viewers’ thirst.

One of these, Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness, is set to be one of the biggest superhero collaborations in the MCU, and may even include some from MCU heroes from the past.

In the cast so far, we know Scarlet Witch makes an appearance, as well as Doctor Strange’s nemesis Karl Mordo.

Multiverse truly is the name of the game as old heroes continue to thrive in the new phase, with Thor: Love and Thunder, where Thor’s former flame Jane Foster returns as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain Marvel 2, where various versions of the character come to the fore.

As well as this, some are expecting Iron Man to reappear in the Black Widow movie, meaning the Avengers are not quite out of the picture.

Finally, there are the whole new slate of characters coming to the MCU, such as Eternals, a group of celestial beings who are protecting the Earth, and Fantastic Four, the crime-fighting team who will be reborn once again in the MCU.

While it is unclear if a new Avengers will form, the new MCU slate will include a huge number of ensemble movies, bringing together old and new heroes.

Acreditando que lá seria a melhor aposta para encontrar um jeito de curar sua mãe, Miles seguiu o caminho. Hoje, está há quatro anos na instituição, mas vez ou outra sai para alguma missão ou simplesmente para ver o mundo (e a mãe).

Habilidades: 1. CONVERSA DE BAR: Com algumas palavras e piadas, Miles possui a capacidade sobrehumana de deixar seus alvos felizes e tranquilos, quase como se estivessem alegres pelo álcool.

Klein: Robert Mueller’s Most Misleading Claim Was Ignorance of Fusion GPS Breitbart ^

NEW YORK — A defining moment of today’s televised hearings came when former Special Counsel Robert Mueller claimed that he was “not familiar” with the controversial Fusion GPS firm.

Fusion GPS, of course, was paid by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the Democratic National Committee to produce the infamous Christopher Steele dossier that reportedly played a central role in sparking the FBI’s questionable Russia collusion probe involving the very claims that Mueller’s team was purportedly established to investigate.

Unsubstantiated Fusion GPS charges were reportedly utilized as evidence in successful FISA applications to obtain successive warrants to conduct surveillance on Carter Page, a former adviser to President Trump’s 2016 campaign who was also a subject in Mueller’s investigation.

These people, (starting with Rosenstein), knew at the onset what they were doing.

Assign a man who, because of his failing mental condition, would basically be a hands off manager of the process, and turn it over to people like Weismann.

Someone inside DC knows more then that, and someone a part of federal criminal investigations must know more, and someone at the head of a special council absolutely positive must be privy to a very large and cache of information on this group.

One more award show in the bag!

The 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards, often regarded as one of the most reliable Academy Awards foretellers in Hollywood, is airing live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Sunday night with Taye Diggs hosting.

Martin Scorsese‘s The Irishman leads the pack with 14 nominations, while Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood scored 12 overall nods. The popular war drama 1917 received eight nominations while Greta Gerwig‘s retelling of Little Women received nine.
