Lafayette sighed and looked at her phone, this was supposedly where burr lived, but Lafayette wasn't really sure. She looked away from their phone and knocked on the door, hoping she didn't get the address wrong.
Lafayette and Thomas were climbing a tree outside of their house, or maybe just Lafayette was. Thomas was still on the ground, watching Lafayette go higher and higher into the tree. He didn't want him to fall, which is why he stayed down on the ground, where it was safe. Someone had to catch him if he fell.
Lafayette was at the pretty high point in the tree, and he decided to sit on a branch. The branch looked thick enough, and he was able to sit comfortably. He didn't know what his brother was so worried about, they had been doing this since they were able to walk, he was pretty much a professional at this point. He knew his brother didn't wanna take any chances, and he knew he was protective of him, he always had been. He looked down and saw a tiny blob on the ground, but he knew it was his brother, so he waved.
Thomas waved back. He was waiting cautiously for something to go wrong, he felt it in his slow beating heart. He sighed and watched his brother sit in the tree, but he couldn't help but smile a bit at the sight, they hadn't done this in a while.
“James! Are you alright!?” -Jefferson says softly as he legit forces James to lean on him- “was it that emo son of a bitch because I swear I’ll kill him.”
“N-no..!” *James tries to lie immediately to Thomas* “just uh..feeling sicker today..yea..”
