Ruggie who thinks Leona doesn't really care for him but sees him as more of a pawn to use to get to his goals. But he doesn't question it, because as much as he hates to admit it he cares for Leona

He doesn't question the fact that once he graduated from NRC Leona gave him an opportunity to be his right hand man and manages his schedule or his boring paper work

He doesn't question it when Leona asked him to be his best man for his wedding, he even prepared a corny speech to tease Leona

He doesn't question it when Leona and his wife sat him down in their room and requested that he would be their future child's guardian. Protecting them from harm and teaching them whatever he knows

It was only when Leona requested him-- Not his brother. to hold his first born child. The tiny babe's eye tightly shut, asleep-- Ruggie wonder where they got that trait from. Their tiny hand gripping Ruggie's finger with all the strength it could muster. And for the first time Ruggie saw a genuine smile on Leona's face, he patted his back. Praising him for how quickly his child took a liking to him.

That was the moment Ruggie realized how important he was to Leona.

Summary: Jade never had his first kiss, so of course as the more experienced partner, you had to take up the mantle and make the first move-- despite how intimidating Jade Leech was

Jade was always an intimidating guy with his towering height and sharp moray teeth, it was a wonder how he even got with you in the first place.

Or the fact that he never had a lover until you.

One could argue intimidation and attraction are two sides of the same coin. While Jade was scary, he was also very VERY attractive, it was almost impossible to imagine no one trying to court him. A male mantis who do anything to woo his female counterpart even if it meant his head being decapitated but you digress.

So here he was, Jade. In a seiza sitting position with his hands politely placed in his lap as he stared at you, waiting. You were to the opposite of him but you were trying your best not to make eye contact with him out of embarrassment.

All these times where you were wondering why Jade never tried to kiss you-- All those time lying in your bed wondering if Jade liked you or was just toying with you and it turns out he just didn't know how to kiss.

"Alright" You got on your knees, holding onto Jade's shoulder to leverage yourself to his height. You looked at him with a determined look

"I'm gonna kiss you" You announced.

"Please do" Jade said in return with his usual customer service smile.

You analyzed his face, his dimples, his nose, his lips and then his eyes. His hypnotizing beautiful eyes, those eyes that were filled with adoration-- It was too much for you.

"M-Most people close their eyes before getting kissed" You said, quickly looking away. You really really wanted to kiss Jade but you also really really wanted to hide under the covers.

"Ah, I see" Jade said nonchalantly and when you returned your gaze, you saw that he did in fact closed his eyes. You let out a deep breath.

You can do this, you can do this. . .

You leaned in slowly, cusping your hands around his face; though you told Jade to close his eyes, you didn't close yours-- you couldn't, how could you?

And then you finally did it, you kissed Jade Leech.

It was a light peck on the lips, soft. But it didn't stop the fact you have fireworks setting off in your head. You were freaking out, you were like a whistling tea kettle about to burst but you had to remain calm, you couldn't let Jade know that this effected you too much

"Hmm" Jade let out a curious hum, finally opening his eyes. His gloved hand reaching to his lips"It wasn't what I quite expected from the land movies I've watched"

And just like that you deflated like a balloon "W-Was it not up to your expectations?"

"No"

You were gonna cry.

"It was even better" Jade immediately added, you then realized he wasn't actually touching his lips.

He was actually trying to hide his blush

If Ruggie worked for Leona after graduating from NRC he would definitely end up with the task of the babysitter.

Ruggie original job would be handling Leona's affairs on his behalf as his right hand man. But after Leona and his wife has their first child, they absolutely struggled as first parents.

Leona had experienced watching over a kid but raising one was a totally different story, and his wife was too tired after hours of labour so Ruggie, being the good person that he was and the fact that there was extra money and a possible raise on the side decided to help these parents by babysitting their kids for them

That was the biggest mistake Ruggie made

Ruggie was very good with kids, he had to take care of them when he was living with his grandma so maybe that's why Leona's kid seemed to really cling to him. Always asking for uppies, only calming down when Ruggie held them, was generally more enthusiastic when he was around, it got to the point Leona's wife might have been a little envious

However there was no question that Leona and his wife really really loved each other and you would think Leona nonchalant attitude towards children he would stop at having 1

But no, after a few years-- their first child still in their toddler stage-- pops in another one. Now of course this wasn't NRC anymore. Ruggie could simply refuse babysitting but the extra money was too good to pass by! Plus Ruggie can't help but admit that he has grown attached to the little munchkins

. . .And then Leona tells him that his wife was pregnant for the third time again, Falena says its a miracle but Ruggie knew damn well what happened for them to have 3 babies in less than a decade

TW!! EMOTIONAL ABUSE, MANIPULATION AND MENTIONS OF MURDER

This take event after OB! Malleus. Basically Malleus magic was so powerful that he made a split timeline/dreamworld where he married yuu and everyone else was there EXCEPT SILVER who is very much aware that this reality wasn't real

Malleyuu had a baby and everything was going well at first until Yuu met Silver and started to question what was real or not. When she asked Malleus about it, He quickly shut it down and threaten to separate Yuu from her baby and lock her up (note that Malleus is still in an OB state and he was worried that if his child knew he wasn't real he would Dissapear) Yuu persisted however and got punished for it

Yuu wasn't allowed to see her child unless Sebek were to accompany the child and she could only caress their fave through a small hole-- I also made this scenario where Sebek would repeated say "I'm sorry,,, im sorry" As Yuu wept and begged Sebek to let her see her child.

Eventually the child came to realize how much of a terrible person his father was his world and then he made the vow to kill Malleus and save his mom and everyone from him even though he loved his father very much

He somehow managed to materialize into the real world (note that time works differently on both worlds so what seems to be 20 years for him seems to be a few days in reality) and he's under the impression that he actually time traveled into the past. So he decided why not just kill Malleus in the past and save everyone from their fates?

I wrote this with Yuzu in mind due to the similarities with her and Belle but I made the Prefect sort of ambiguous too

When Vargas found out the Prefect was a girl, he couldn't help but become questionably protective over her. Dire had a personal meeting with the NRC Staff Members regarding the Prefect being the only girl in NRC and how they should keep a look out for her.

Vargas may or may not have took it a little too far.

Vargas was generally nice to the other NRC student but with the Prefect he makes it his mission to separate her from the rest of the male students. He also doesn't force her to do 'hard' exercises and gives her the most simplest task

Not only that but he's super encouraging towards her then the rest of her peers. The Prefect could suck ass at playing baseball and Vargas would be cheering for her from the sideline (and honestly his incessant encouragement is probably what made her fail in the first place)

It got to the point the other NRC staff noticed this strange behavior after overhearing some conversations between their students. So obviously they had to ask.

During their break, while they were conversing as usual was when Divus broke the ice and just asked him why he was giving the Prefect special treatment

Vargas was very dramatic about it at first, claiming how it was too painful for him in divulge.

But he quickly spilled the beans when Divus and Trein immediately loss interest

Vargas then began telling his story about how he was once a young lad who fell in love with his childhood friend who was more interested in book than romance. Vargas was a very toxic masculine man and he would often mention how reading book is practically useless for 'Beautiful Ladies' like her and that she should just marry him and he would provide for her.

This gave Vargas' childhood crush the immediate ick and the more Vargas pursued her, the more she became distant from him.

Vargas didn't pay it much mind until his crush began to develope feelings for another man. This immediately hurt his pride. Because he never saw her enjoy anyone elses company other than his-- as his deluded mind would tell him so.

Vargas began starting fights with her current lover. It got to the point that she started ghosting them.

That was when Vargas had to do some self reflection on himself, because he didn't know who he was mad at. Was it his crush? Because despite his effort, she never looked his way? Was it the Lover? Who was much better than him for some reason?

No, Vargas was mad at himself. Because he had hurt someone he cared for. He had demeaned her for doing what she liked, and it was ultimately his fault that she left him.

So he strived to be the opposite of his past self. . . Even though his way of thinking was still backwards

Dang I hit so many milestones in March even though I took a semi break 😭😭 even my NeigeYuu Fic is almost at 100 kudos, thank you y'all so much for supporting me, Ive gotten a good motivation boost from this. I think I will update Fairest of Them All around April but ngl college has been a little rocky for me so I’m still unsure but thank you all again!!
