♥︎ a/n: this was very rushed and very late since I was trying to catch up to my studies, it isn’t that great since it was my 1st time and bc it was rushed(fun fact: I was actually going to draw a comic or something for this then realize that it was supposed to be gender neutral lol) (some parts was also written in 1st person pov lol)

‘Hi! I’m (Y/N L/N), a character in a comic. You’re probably wondering how I became a character in a comic, how I knew if I was in a comic or if I was completely sane- Yeah, I am actually completely sane. But now let me explain how I ended up in this situation.’

Flashback: (1st person POV)

It all started when I heard a strange noise on the way to school. I started hearing these page turning sounds everywhere and acted very differently as if a different person was controlling my body. I also started to teleport from one place to another. Just the other day, I was walking to school then later on, I was in the hospital which was really really strange.

Things also seemed to happen again and again, and it feels like I can see the future.

Just then, I met this raccoon looking guy who seemed to see very the same exact things that I can also see. Like flying chairs, water floating everywhere and just a bunch of things floating in the air.

One day, I decided to talk to this raccoon guy….

“Hey raccoon guy!” I said, in which he answered by pointing a finger to himself. He turned to look at the back to see if I was referring to someone else.

“Me?” he questioned. “Yeah, who else is in this room except for you and me?” With that, he scratches his neck, embarrassed- I mean who wouldn’t be embarrassed by that. We were the only people in the room.

“So you know raccoon-” “Sunwoo. Kim Sunwoo” he interrupts.

“Okay, so you know Sunwoo, I’ve been seeing this weird stuff like things floating in the air. And I also feel like I’m teleporting from time to time. Perhaps, do you know what’s happening?” “It seems like you read a lot of comics,” he said with an unreadable expression on his face. “No, it’s not that! Don’t pretend that you don’t know what I’m talking about! You clearly saw that ��thing’ earlier!” I exclaimed, already annoyed by him. “And can you explain what is that ‘thing’ that you assumed that I saw?” He asked with the same expression on his face. “That green portal thing that was floating in the air.” Sunwoo suddenly freezes. “See, you definitely saw that, just by judging your reaction-” “Don’t ever go near that ‘thing’.” he interrupts once again. “Why-” “Just. Just don’t go near that green thing if you don’t want to get hurt.” He warningly said. “Okay…….But can you tell me what’s happening right now, like those floating things, you know.” I said, really curious about what really is happening right now.

“Okay. So basically, we’re in a comic-” he started. “In a what?!?!” “In a comic aka those things that you like to read” He added, unbothered about how shocked I was. “How though?” I asked, still in shock. “Let me explain in peace please. So we’re in a comic meaning that most of the things we do are part of the scenes in the comic. Most of the characters just act how the writer wants them to act. But there are some characters including you and me that can act the way we want- but only outside the stage. These are the people who already have their ego. When these people starts to have their ego, they starts to hear some page turning sounds and seem like they teleport from time to time- just like your case right now. People with ego can act the way they like outside the stage, they also have the ability to remember things in and out of the stage. What is a stage, you may ask. The stage is when the writer starts to write a scene. In short, the stage is the scene that is drawn in the comic. The outside of the stage also has a name. Shadow. The shadow is the outside of the stage aka the side of the characters that the writer don’t know. So basically you and I are both in the shadow right now. Anything can happen in the shadow that’s why you can see a lot of things floating. Do you now get it?” He explained, which was really hard for me to understand but still. “Ohhh. Okay! Thank you for explaining that to me, raccoon! I’ll get going now! See you later!” I exclaimed. He was clearly annoyed by me because of the nickname I called him, but I’ll still call him that….. To annoy him hehe.

End of Flashback (2nd person POV)

“Hmm…. Who should I choose? Younghoon? He’s okay, he’s hot. Juyeon? Ayy, absolutely not. Hyunjae? Jaehyun? Or whatever his name? Yeah, I don’t know, maybe? He’s kinda cute though.” You thought, thinking you’re the protagonist. “Who should I choose between Younghoon and Hyunjae? Hmm… I choose-”

And with that, you suddenly appear in a stage. “Ugh! I haven’t even choose my hero yet, why u gotta be like that author” You thought- since you can’t talk in the stage unless it’s your line.

Younghoon suddenly appeared in the stage, looking all cool with the effects that the writer decided to draw. “Wah, is Younghoon my hero, the other protagonist?” You suddenly feel excitement with that thought. Since you’re in a crowd, Younghoon suddenly walks towards you. “Oh my gosh! Is he going towards me?! Oh wait- do I look okay or what?! I don’t even know” Suddenly, he went to hold…..another girl’s hand, and not yours. “Wait a minute. She’s not the protagonist….is she?”

All of a sudden, he said something that made you a little shocked. “Starting today, no one shall treat ‘my girl’ like she’s not even a human being”

“What? ‘My girl’? She’s the protagonist?! So that’s why that girl has that weird effects all over her every single time. What the heck?! So why am I even in this stage?” You thought being left dumbfounded since the stage had already ended. (It end with everyone shocked duh)

“That’s what you get for leaving without even knowing your role” Sunwoo scolded.

“I know, I know but that’s not the problem.” You started. “The problem is my role. Out of all roles! Why would they give me the role of an extra! This is unfair!” You exclaimed, being sulky about your role.

“I’m an extra too though! Don’t act as if you’re the only extra in the comic!” Sunwoo scolded, looking disappointed at his role.

“Well, at least your role is that charming cafeteria guy who appears in almost every chapter! My role is just a high school student who have an illness and will die in the end. And did I also mentioned that I need to be in love with that Juyeon guy!” You once again sulked. “Well, what if I can change my fate, y’know. That’s not impossible, is it?” You hesitated, thinking if it’s possible.

“Do whatever you want to do. As if it’s possible.” He said before going out of the room. “Hey! Where are you-! Nevermind.” You sighed after he left the room. “Wait, what if…”

You went to get the book about the comic you’re in. Sunwoo told you that the pages will be blank if the writer hasn’t written anything on that page. But being a person with trust issues, you still went and checked that book- and yeah, Sunwoo was right. He’s always right.

You sighed, thinking whether you should do it or not. “There’s no harm in trying, right?... Yeah, I should definitely give it at least a try.” You said after thinking about that for, I can say, at least 10 minutes.

You don't care if you need to marry Juyeon or any other guy, the point is to not die young….or even die in the comic.

“What the- what’s wrong with you today?” A voice said, kinda annoyed.

“Shhh. I’m thinking, Eric. Can you quiet down? This is important”

“What the heck are you thinking-” He got cut off by a thought- No, it’s not just a thought. It’s a vision. A vision you see that is most likely to be the stage you will be in later.

beep, beep, beep

The vision got cut off by the sound of your watch, which indicates that your heart rate is currently higher than 100.

“Yah! (Y/N L/N)! Are you okay?” Eric asked out of worry. “Yeah, I’m okay. It’s probably just a false alarm, y’know” You said, completely fine. “Oh, good to know. I thought you’re gonna faint again like yester-”

“What the heck? Where am I- oh wait, I’m in the school staircase. Wait, could it be like the vision? No way. Am I going to freaking break my leg right now just for that girl?” With that thought, you became more worried than normal.

Suddenly, the girl has already walked past Younghoon, which means you’re gonna break your leg, sooner or later. Out of the blue, Younghoon took the girl’s hand which means you have extra time to prepare yourself. Without knowing, a guy walked past you, which isn’t part of the vision that you saw.

Just in time, the girl had already been pushed when you finished preparing yourself. Your fall wasn’t that hard as you thought as you can feel someone falling with you. But you still fainted though because of your illness.

“Yah! Are you okay (Y/N)? Why are you already here? Aren’t you supposed to be in the clinic?” a voice asked, really confused.

“You have too many questions, Youngjae. It’s fine, I’M fine.” You sighed before continuing. “I woke up in the clinic without my hero there. I’m supposed to have a broken leg, but hey, I only got a scar on my knee hehe. But Younghoon and that protagonist girl were in the clinic too. Younghoon was only concerned about that girl though. Perks of being the main character. But that girl only had a scratch though…. Why is my life so depressing?” You sulked about the scene you saw in the clinic. Eric tried to comfort you but he doesn’t have any clue about what you’re talking about. Poor boy doesn’t have his ego.

“You know what. Maybe that guy is really my hero. He may be the one who can change my fate! I’m going to do something, okay? Bye bye Eric!” You said which makes the boy more clueless.

You went to your favorite place in school, the rooftop. But when you went there, you could see someone sitting on your favorite spot. It was the one and only Kim Younghoon.

“Yah! Go out.” You demanded which made him confused.

“What? I was the first one here though. Shouldn’t you be the one to get out?” He replied.

Of course, being the stubborn kid you are, you can’t just lose to him. “Just leave. You’ve been here for a long time now so of course, it’s my turn.”

He didn’t answer, didn’t even give you attention. So with that, you went towards him and pushed him to the door so he could leave.

“Finally some alone time!” You stretched your body first before sitting down on your favorite spot. “How do I find him though? Should I plan something first? Yeah, I should plan something first. As far as I know….I fell towards his back. Should I bump my back into every guy in the school to find him? Yeah, that’s pretty dumb. I’ll still try it though. What if I should just let him find me? Y’know because I saw him in the garden around last week. But I’m not sure if that’s actually him. But they have the same scar in their hand! Yeah, I should just let him find me. I should be in another danger. I don’t know, he kept appearing but I can’t even see his face. Okay, I should probably start now since maybe a stage will play sooner or later? Okay, leggo!” You talked to yourself- yeah, you always talk to yourself.

While walking in the hallway, you suddenly saw a member of the Bermuda Line. Thank Goodness that it’s Hyunjae or else….

“Hey! Hyunjae! What are you doing here! Visiting that girl, huh? You’re the second lead anyways.” You approached him, confused about what you’re saying. Why do you always make people confused?

“Girl? Ahhh…. No, I’m not visiting her, well maybe I am. But what are you doing here though (Y/N)?” He asked.

“Nothing. I’m just walking” But then you thought of something. “This is the perfect opportunity” “Wait…. You could be quite a help…. Turn around.” You said which made him more confused. “Why?” “Just turn around.”

After he turned around, you bump your back into his…..but nothing happened. “Yah, you’re weird today (Y/N).” He said even more confused. “Sigh, it didn’t work. It really is dumb. I’m so dumb” You became sulky again. Why do you keep sulking though?

“Yeah, you’re really dumb.” Hyunjae then said. “Yah! You aren’t supposed to say that! You’re supposed to comfort me!” You said even more sulky. “Why should I?” “Ahhhhh! Bye. See you later” And with that, you left.

“Should I just find him myself? Nevermind, let’s continue tomorrow (Y/N)! Today’s a really tiring day.” You wondered and headed home.

The next day, while walking towards school, you bumped into the least person you want to see right now. Lee Juyeon. Your fiance.

“Yah! (Y/N L/N)!” He said, with an unreadable expression since you can’t read expressions.

“It’s really early then all he has to do is be loud. Tsk. He doesn’t even talk to me so what does he want?” You thought before talking back. “What? You know what, just get lost. I’m not in the mood today” You said before walking past him. He seemed bewildered with your reply and you don’t care about that. The only thing that is in your mind is to find your ‘hero’. If Younghoon has his ‘girl’ then you have your ‘hero’.

“Yah! (Y/N L/N)” Your friend, Eric called you. “Why?” You asked as he looked really excited. “Don’t you know, today is PE! The PE teacher said that we will play dodgeball today! Aren’t you excited?” As he was talking about how excited he is, he suddenly remembered something. “Oh, right. You can’t attend PE classes because of your illness.” He suddenly went from being excited to sad. As he said that, you suddenly thought of something to go with your plan. “I can. I will make sure that I’ll attend today’s PE class.” You reassured him which made him quite happy but still confused.

You all changed from your normal uniform to your PE uniform. After the teacher explained the game, you stood up to play with them- since you were sitting in the corner because the teacher said so.

You were playing for around 8 minutes now and no one has ever hit you. Even Eric, who's on another team hasn’t hit you yet. Suddenly you saw a ball going towards you. “Perfect”. But before it ever hit you, someone has blocked it for you. “Found you!” You said as you saw his scar on his hand.

You pulled him with you to go to the clinic- since that’s the most quiet place at the moment. You left him in the clinic though so you can get the yearbook(?) from the classroom.

After a while, you’re finally back in the clinic with the yearbook in your hand. “Let’s see.” You then began to flip the book into your desired page, which is the page for your class. “Where are you….. Found it! Number 30….. What the-? You don’t have a name?” You seem really surprised about this but then you remembered that you’re in a comic. “Wait, you don’t have a name so that means you’re an extra too? Wow-”

Suddenly, you’re in a stage. “Wow. Perfect Timing.” But this stage was different than usual. You’re in a hospital. Of course, because you’re sick. Shouldn’t sick people be in a hospital?

You walked towards the hallway to go outside. Out of the blue, you saw Hyunjae carrying a bag with him.

“Yah! Lee Hyunjae! What are you doing here” You asked in which he approached you in return.

“I’m visiting my mom, she’s still in a coma. Sigh, it’s already been 6 months since she’s in a coma. How about you?” He replied and you two both sat on a bench nearby. “Isn’t it obvious?” You said and you rolled your eyes. “Oh right, I forgot. Alright, I have to go. See you later.” And then the stage suddenly ended.

“What was that? Yah (Y/N)!” Hyunjae called, confused on why he’s outside the hospital. “Why?” You said uninterested. “You’re here again. Aren’t you just bumping your back into mine just earlier or am I just going insane?” With that, you suddenly pulled him with you to talk to him privately.

“What did you just say? Me bumping my back into yours?” You asked which made him nervous. “Yeah, why?” “You remember that?” “Yeah, I clearly remember that. Why”

After that, you suddenly bump your head into his head, by his nose causing his nose to bleed. “Ouch! Yah! Why did you do that?!” He asked in pain. “You’ll know it sooner or later”.

After that, Hyunjae did get what you mean. He was suddenly walking towards his mom's hospital room. And when he entered, he saw himself in the mirror without any blood by his nose. He was really sure that you made his nose bleed but why is his nose not bleeding anymore now?

It’s been days since you last saw ‘Number 30’. You always saw him in the garden or the library before being in the stage. Whenever you try to talk to him, he always looks lost, like he doesn’t even know you. I mean that’s possible because not everyone has their ego yet- we don’t actually know if everyone will get their ego.

Until one day, your school announces to have a field trip. Since you were so desperate to find ‘Number 30’, you kinda forced your mom to let you go on the field trip despite your condition. I wonder if you actually find him there though. Not all extras can go everywhere they want.

“Yah, are you sure you can go on the field trip? What if you suddenly faint-?” You shushed Eric down since you don’t want to talk about your condition.

“Yeah, are you sure you can go? I heard the doctor-” A sudden voice joined your conversation.

“Since when were you here Jaehyun? You aren’t even in the same class as us” Both you and Eric said.

“It’s just I wanted to check on you (Y/N). And also because I want to talk to you.” Hyunjae then explained. “Talk about what?” Eric being the curious cat he is, asked. “It’s a secret between us. By the way, are you sure you can go? I heard the doctor talk about you having not that much time left.” Hyunjae said full of worry. It, of course, worried Eric too so he began asking you if you’re okay and if anything hurts. “That’s why I’m going on the field trip. You know, you only live once. And we don’t know how long we're gonna live.” You said with a bright tone in your voice, so they don’t have to worry that much.

“By the way, what do you wanna talk about?” You asked Hyunjae which he later responded by clapping his hands. Seems like he forgot about it.

“It’s just between us so I recommend going to another place. Please excuse us Youngjae. See you later” He suddenly pulled you with him after saying that.

After walking for 3 minutes to find a private place to talk, you have already arrived at your destination.

“So what do you want to talk about?” You started looking at him suspiciously.

“How did you know?” He started. “Know what?” “What would happen to me in the hospital” He said, looking at you suspiciously, like the way you looked at him earlier.

It’s the day of the field trip. As you were waiting for the ferry with Eric (since Hyunjae is with the Bermuda line), you saw someone familiar at the opposite end. It was the one and only, ‘Number 30’.

“I didn’t know that he’ll be here today. But that’s alright, that’s the goal” You thought as you smiled at him. He replied by smiling at you. “Cute” But then you turned your attention to the ferry in front of you.

Eric is really loud and will play games until 3am and eat ramen at really random times. While you…..you snore. Like really loud, another reason why Eric can’t sleep at night.

So back to what I was saying. You’re roommates with that protagonist girl that you don’t even know the name of. I don’t know her name either, so don’t ask me.

She was mostly seen flirting with Younghoon. And she always has those effects following her everywhere. It’s kinda getting annoying for you. You always complained how she and the Bermuda line always have those darn effects. Like you don’t have at least one scene with any effects. You thought that it was quite unfair but what do you expect, you’re only an extra in this comic.

“Hey, (Y/N) right?” Your roommate asked. “Yeah, why?” You asked back. “Nothing. By the way, did you know that we’ll have a program later at night. You have to draw a number, then the one who has the same number as you will have to go with you to the love forest. Doesn’t that sound fun?” She excitedly said. She seems so excited but it isn't possible for her to get the same number as Younghoon considering how many people are in your class. Oh, it is actually very possible. They’re the main characters, I’m sure that program will happen in the stage.

“I have to go. My friend is waiting for me outside.” You said after you check the notification on your phone. It’s Eric telling you to come out and spend time with him.

After using the elevator to go downstairs, you saw Eric sitting on a bench.

“Yah! What took you so long?!” he asked with too much energy.

“You do know that my roommate is ‘that girl’, right?” You said having the opposite energy of him.

“Really?! You mean ‘that girl’, Younghoon’s ‘girl’?!” Eric shouted which resulted in you shushing him. “Yeah. By the way, what do you want?” You asked as you don’t know what you two are going to do. “Ah, right! Let’s go to the beach! Leggo!” He said with so much excitement while dragging you with him.

After a few minutes, you finally arrived by the beach. You can’t help but stare at the view. It makes you calm and relaxed just by the way it looks. It also makes you forget people around, it’s like it’s only you and the beach (and Eric). Well speaking of Eric, he already went and played with the sand, not minding how you’re just spacing out, looking at the view.

“I wonder what my life will be without this freaking illness” You wondered, wishing you were born ‘normal’, just like Eric and the others. I gotta admit, the writers were a bit cruel to you. You’re already an extra, but they decided to make you a character with an illness and can die sooner or later.

And with that, you spend your first (half) day with your bestest friend, Eric (I said what I said Hyunjae).

Arriving at your room, you saw your roommate sitting on your bed.

“Ain’t that my bed?” You asked, partially confused since you two weren’t even close enough for you to sit on each others’ bed.

“Oh! Yeah, I forgot. Sorry! Aren’t you going to take a bath though? The Program is starting in 30 minutes” She said which made you suspicious of her actions.

You took a bath with so much suspicion. “Weird. Why is she acting like that? We aren’t even close in the first place. Weird. Really weird”

Finishing with so much suspicion, you change into your heart cardigan and pants, since the program has something to do with love.

After changing, ‘that’ girl walk towards you. “She hasn’t left???” “Hey! (Y/N)! Let’s go together! I don’t really know the way here. I thought that going with someone there can lower the chance of me getting lost. Let’s go!” She exclaimed.

“Girl, do I look like I live here? Do you want us to get lost- I mean, do you want ME to get lost? It’s even my first time here, I don’t want to get lost with you” You thought while faking a smile.

Fortunately, you two didn’t get lost. She didn’t even thank you despite you being the ‘map’ of you two. She immediately went to Younghoon, obviously.

The Program actually already started when you arrived. People were already drawing numbers and finding their partners. You guessed it, ‘that girl’ got the same number as Younghoon, meaning that they’re partners.

You were the last one to draw out of all students. Looking for your partner, you realized that ‘Number 30’ was the only one without a partner. You walk towards him and look at his number. He has the same number as you, number 11.

“It seems like you’re my partner” you started, breaking the awkward silence between you two. “Hi! I’m (Y/N L/N), your partner.” After introducing yourself, you drag him with you since he looks so confused about this whole program thing. “Leggo!”

Walking through the forest with him was quiet but comfortable. “I guess it wasn’t a stage at all. Maybe they’re just destined for each other.” Since you were just following him in the forest, you didn’t realize that you’re already lost. The love forest always have those stupid signs so you don’t get lost but you can’t see one right now. Not even a single one, since the past 10 minutes.

“Hey! Perhaps, do you know if we’re lost? I can’t see those wooden signs of this love forest.” You questioned with so much worry since you don’t know if he can actually speak. Well, we don’t actually know if all extras can speak.

“Don’t worry, we aren’t lost. We’re just going a different way. A much exciting and fun way.” He reassured you which shocked you.

“Oh okay.” you answered, still shocked. “He can speak???”

After about 15 minutes of walking, ‘Number 30’ stopped walking which caused you to stop too. It seems like you already arrived at your destination.

“We’re here.” With that, he showed you a really really beautiful place. It’s a garden-like place with a small lake. It seems like you’re in paradise. You feel refreshed by just touching the water.

You sat down by the lake, preparing to start a conversation.

“Hey!” You called and motioned him to sit down beside you. “You don’t have a name, just Number 30. That’s kinda lame.” you started which he replied with. “It’s kinda sad. No one actually called me, even by just ‘Number 30’.” “Ohh… That’s sad. Anyway, I don’t like this sad vibe so I have a question.” You said, shaking off the sad vibes. He motioned you to continue what you were saying and it made your heart flutter, not knowing why. “Can I give you a name? Like Jacob or something. Do you like it? Like the idea and the name, do you like it?” you asked, anticipating an answer. In return, he just nodded which you took as a yes. “Okay, Jacob. That’s kinda a random name. Sorry…..Jacob”

You finished your first day with laughter and stories shared with Jacob.

A week later, you were allowed to go home. It was a really fun week for you.

But that’s not just the news! You and Jacob are actually dating for about 3 months now! Yeah, time really flies so fast. You’re really growing up (Y/N)! I’m so proud of you!

But still, with all that good news, you still have a lot of suspicion about ‘that girl’. She’s been trying to be close with you since that field trip.

NEWAYS, let’s continue the story.

“Hey! Jacob! Let’s hang out later after school” You winked before leaving him with just that.

You were planning to have a date with your boyfriend since today is Valentine's Day. It’s your first Valentine’s Day with a loved one.

Jacob on the other hand, was trying to guess what’s with today. Of course, he would love to spend time with you, but he was just confused since you don’t actually ask to spend time with you first. Normally, you don’t do the first move but today was different. That's why he’s confused.

Another miracle was that more and more people started to notice Jacob, which you don’t if it’s a good or bad thing.

While walking towards your classroom, you stopped as you heard a conversation about you and Jacob.

“What’s with (Y/N) and that boy?” A voice asked. You assumed that it’s Younghoon since the ones having the conversation are the Bermuda Line.

“What’s their relationship? (Y/N) never told me anything about that boy.” Another voice said, it was Juyeon. You know it, just by the way he’s speaking.

“Hey! He has a name alright. He’s Jacob and not just that ‘boy’” Another voice was heard, this time it was Hyunjae.

You actually only introduced Jacob to Hyunjae and Eric. Wait- also that raccoon boy.

“They’re dating. Jacob and (Y/N) are dating. Happy?” Hyunjae said, revealing your secret.

“What?!” The other two exclaimed at the same time. “She’s still my fiance though so why is she dating another guy?” Juyeon wondered.

“What? I thought that (Y/N) called off the engagement. It’s either she lied to me or you aren’t informed about it” Hyunjae said, beginning to have trust issues.

“What am I going to do? It’s not like I lied to him. I informed mom that I don’t want to be engaged with Juyeon anymore nor be married to him. But I’m not sure if mom has already called off the engagement.” You thought, being stressed about your current situation.

But you still went to class without showing any sign of stress. You didn’t even pay attention to Juyeon (nor the class).

After class, you immediately went to the kitchen- the place where you and Jacob are supposed to meet. Might as well get free food. Arriving at the kitchen, you saw Sunwoo reading the comic book.

“Jacob isn’t here yet?” You asked, interrupting his reading time. “He isn’t, why?” He asked back. “We have a date today, it’s Valentines, don’t you know that?” You answered with a teasing voice. “I’m pretty sure Jacob doesn’t.” He answered back which made you gasp. “How dare you say that to my Jacob. But you’re right, he probably doesn't know. Extras don't have that much clue about the world except for me and you.” You answered, giving up on protecting your boyfriend.

Jacob entered the room just in time.

“Hey! You’re here! We’ll be going now, bye bye Sunwoo!” But before you two could leave, Sunwoo suddenly said something. “Be careful! A single accident can cause you to forget your memories!” He started, in which you went back inside as a reply. “I forgot to tell you that earlier. It’s not just an amnesia or something that has to do with medicine or hospitals or stuff. It’s like an error since we’re in a comic. So Jacob, protect (Y/N) at all cost. And (Y/N), protect Jacob at all cost. You can go now! Bye!” He finished with sweet sentences. You find it sweet and cute since Sunwoo is mostly kinda mean and playful with you.

Leaving the school holding hands, you two entered your car- your family car to be exact.

“Why do you look like that?” you asked Jacob, examining the look on his face. “You look like you have a problem. Wait… Is it because I was the one who asked us to hang out after school or should I say have a date?” He nods his head at your question which makes you chuckle. “You seriously don’t know what it is today?” you started in which he returned a nod in response. “Sunwoo’s right. Extras don’t actually know ab0ut the the world. Sigh. It’s Valentine’s Day today! It’s a day where you spend your time with your loved ones. That’s why I asked you earlier today to hang out with me! Get it now?” you continued and as of now, he kinda gets it.

A few moments later, you finally arrived at your first destination, the Cafe. You let Jacob sit first and order by yourself since you want to surprise him with something. After ordering, you took a seat in front of Jacob.

“Why didn’t you let me order with you? I could keep you company, you know. Sunwoo said I should protect you and I really want to protect you” He said with a kind of sad tone but that doesn’t stop you from giggling.

“You’re so sweet, oh my gosh! But I’m okay, I have a little surprise that’s why. He’s even sweeter than what I ordered huh.” You said, reassuring him.

After a while, your orders are already served. A chocolate cake and a milkshake. The cake was customized which he really appreciated and loved. ‘Happy Valentine’s Day to My Angel Jacob’ was written on the cake. But what made him confused is why is there only one milkshake?

“Oh… About that…. We’ll share it! There’s two straws you see! A lot of couples do this and I really wanted to try it!” You exclaimed which brightened Jacob’s mood.

You two tried to share the milkshake but you can’t help but focus on Jacob's face. ‘He really got that face of an Angel. I’m one lucky person’ You thought but then got caught by Jacob. You two made intense eye contact which you quickly avoided. And now, you’re a blushing mess. I mean not just you, Jacob too.

You two began eating the cake while sharing stories. Some happy, some sad and some funny stories. You finished your first destination happily.

Leaving the cafe with full stomachs, you decided to walk to your second destination. It’s nothing specific actually, you’re just going shopping.

Something caught your eye as soon as you entered the store. It’s a couple shirts. It’s a really cute couple shirt and I’m not gonna be really detailed about it. Just use your imagination for that.

Okay back to the story, you asked Jacob about his opinions towards the couple shirt.

“It’s cute, babe! Do you want it? I can buy it for you.” Jacob asked which you nodded immediately.

You bought plenty of things, mostly matching stuff. But before going home, you decided to go somewhere.

You stopped by a man who was selling balloons on your way to your final destination. “Do you want one? I can buy one for you-” you interrupted Jacob immediately. “No, it’s okay. I do want one but you’ve been paying for all the stuff we bought today. I’ll buy one by myself Jacob, don’t worry” you reassured him but continued to eye the balloons. “Can I buy that one? That heart balloon. Thank you!”

You then continued to walk with Jacob but it suddenly became windy which caused your balloon to fly away. It’s not flying upwards but sidewards. You follow the balloon without even realizing that you’re already on the streets.

“(Y/N)!” That was the last thing before darkness took over you.

Jacob took you to the hospital but left when your guardian arrived. Your mom trusts Jacob, she also liked him for you but she was too shocked that she accidentally told Jacob to leave.

“I should have kept my eyes on them only. Sunwoo said to protect (Y/N) and I failed to do that. Will (Y/N) forget all of their memories? I’m sorry (Y/N), I really am” Jacob said while crying out of the hospital.

Inside the hospital, in your room, a girl was standing by your hospital bed.

“You will be mine soon (Y/N). Once you wake up, we will be a happy couple.” a voice said, a really feminine voice. It belongs to her, ‘that girl’, Younghoon’s girl.

She used to look at you with so much admiration. She liked you- no, she loved you a lot and she still does. She got her ego way earlier than you did. She acts really nice so you two can become friends and soon become a couple. But that didn’t happen. That's why she followed you and Jacob this Valentines. She planned to put you in an accident for you to forget your memories which worked. She was the one who was driving the car that hit you and caused you to be in this hospital, stuck in a coma.

It’s been around 2 months after that accident and you’re finally woken up from your coma. You’re already back to attending school.

Sitting at your desk, a familiar man approached.

“(Y/N)! Are you okay now? I was so worried. I’m really sorry (Y/N).” His voice was so familiar but you cannot put your finger onto it.

“I’m sorry but who are you?” He seemed really shocked after hearing that.

“I’m Jacob. You can’t really remember me?” He said with so much emotion in his voice.

“I’m really sorry but I don’t really know or remember you. I’m so sorry”
