What do you think would happen if Bruno met your villain fictional others? Or, better; how would they react to Some Guy being someone that captured a piece of your heart? I am putting good money on the idea of Megatron being baffled, while Plankton and Starscream just chuck it up to you having good taste in F/Os, so the guy is probably coolio

Oh, I'm so glad you asked!! I think about this SO OFTEN. Can you imagine Bruno visiting this little room in the back of my head full of everyone I've ever loved?? I think he'd be very easily overwhelmed, especially since there are... so many villains.

Not to mention one of them is a hot piece of machinery a big scary killer robot 25 ft taller than him and looking like this:

I've always imagined that Plankton would be very easy-going about it, because he just wants me to be happy. He used to be easily jealous/possessive until he realized... "oh. Keri hasn't smiled like that in a while." He's always reassured that he's my favorite, and nobody's gonna ever replace him, so now he's always rly supportive, just as long as I remember to come back home to Bikini Bottom every once in a while 💚

Other iterations of Plankton tho (Bway/Tour), they wanna start a fight IMMEDIATELY. But that always depends on the new F/O, and honestly if they see Bruno walk in with his shoulders hunched over and his big puppydog eyes looking around while he's squeezing my hand, I'm pretty sure all malicious intent goes out the window and they'd just mutter "oh. well. we're not used to seeing this. are you secretly evil??" and Bruno responds "wh-what? no?" and they say "oh! oh. okay. uh. welcome! do... do you want a chumburger while you're here??"

Beetlejuice immediately wants to make friends. Probably starts flirting with Bruno because... well. Bruno is such a snack, my god, just look at him. scrawny salt n pepper dreamboat. And Beej is the KING of making people uncomfortable, making inappropriate jokes and trying to be as frightening as possible -- but then he sees Bruno's a fan of rats and he's like "AWWW YOU HAVE LITTLE RAT FRIENDS??? CAN I SEE THEM????" and then they start bonding over the fact that they're invisible unloved-until-recently outcasts. But Bruno still keeps his distance sometimes bc... well. Beej is kind of terrifying and comes on very strong. But he still appreciates his company, in small doses.

Cyber Wockee is breakdancing in the corner and Bruno's just like "oh, he dances just like when Agustín gets into the aguardientes :)"

Megatron just kinda... stares w/ his arms folded behind his back. He's not like the other romantic F/Os I have but he's still, like, somewhat BARELY met the requirements? And he scoffs, like, really. REALLY KERI, you don't like me but you like this pathetic creature? HE CAN'T EVEN TURN INTO A FIGHTER JET--

And there are many, many, many more villains, but one of the most important is, YES, Starscream, my Starlight, my Starling Darling, my Starshine, my sweetspark of my heart, my-- yes. You get it. This big, menacing, evil bastard. Has all of my love. 🌟🌟🌟

And he is scowling so fiercely it's damn near demonic, his eyes are narrowed into little flaming slits and he won't say a word. He just glares. And Bruno might try to start a conversation because uhh well this is awkward and he's gonna be sticking around for an indefinite amount of time so he should probably try to get along w/ these ppl? But then Starscream interrupts him and says "so. you're the one taking all of the attention from my little starflower, hm?" and Bruno's squaring his shoulders, putting on a brave face. Yes. yes he IS and uh he doesn't plan on going anytime soon!! but his eyes drift down to those claws and he's sure that he's killed some ppl w/ them and just... how big and pointy this guy is. And how harsh that voice is, it's just. violence incarnate.

And Starscream kneels down and bows his head and glances around, hoping nobody hears - and Bruno's like oh shit this guy is about to threaten me and make my death look like an accident, but no, Starscream's eyes soften just a little. And he grits his teeth bc it pains him a bit to say this, like it's physically difficult to be nice and primus forbid anyone sees him getting soft because of one little human girl. But. He looks at Bruno and whispers "thank you. she... eghh... needs you right now... um. anyway. don't tell anyone we had this conversation." and he stands himself up and saunters away as if nothing happened before the seer can even respond because... well, what the actual fuck WAS that

THANK YOU!!! My love for Beetlejuice really hit me out of NOWHERE. I watched the musical, thought to myself “He’s F/O material! Kissed and added to the pile!” I drew a couple things in my sketchbook (which I gotta remember to post omg), and I thought that would be it.

I didn’t think he’d suddenly become a legitimate main F/O, because the musical boot that I had wasn’t very great quality so I didn’t get hooked on it when I watched it for the first time. I barely processed what the musical was about. I thought it was enjoyable though, and I did draw me and Beej a little bit! But then I listened to the soundtrack, then found a completely different bootleg that was HD and had nice audio quality, and I was able to actually get invested in the plot and the characters! Then my love for Beeltejuice went SKYROCKTED and now he’s even reached Comfort Character level!!

He’s almost nothing like my main “type” of characters that I feel attracted to- he’s not mysterious, suave, or inherently “charming” (or at least conventionally), but he does have his own charms!! He’s got a long overcoat, he’s wearing a suit- it’s tattered, it’s filthy, he’s literally a rotting demon who looks like a car salesman that crawled out of the grave- but hey, he’s somewhat well-dressed! His hair is wild and fun. He’s hilarious. He looks like a good time. He’s flirty!! He’s lonely and incredibly emotional, and I feel super drawn to characters who crave affection so I can be the one to give it to them!! He was very determined to get on my F/O list for sure; it might have taken him a couple weeks but he definitely stole my heart!!

It’s inspired by the song, uh, You’re the Boy Who Murdered Love. I think I had the song stuck in my head around the time I was hyperfixating on Beetlejuice for those couple of weeks, and he refers to murder a LOT in the DC version, so I guess the lyrics just... stuck with me? 

Fun fact!! This was almost Megatron’s ship tag, but I didn’t ship w/ him romantically yet at the time (nor did I want to, the thought honestly didn’t even cross my mind that early). I think if I didn’t have Beej as a F/O, this tag would have gone to Megatron ultimately. The song is really about the singer falling in love, but not wanting to, because the boy she’s in love with is just,,, terrible LOL, whereas I genuinely loved falling in love w/ Beetlejuice!! The idea of him loving me makes me feel wonderful!! I think I just really thought the song fit him because it’s so upbeat and catchy and has to do with, um, murder. Which is good, because Megatron’s current ship tag fits our situation/universe’s arc WAY more than this song does.
