I know the Musk "trillion people means more Mozarts" thing is stupid as fuck but I just saw a prominent blogger reply to it by saying anyone has the ability to be a Mozart and I'm sorry but "talent doesn't exist" discourse has officially gone too far, and I say that as someone who hates the word "talent" and has replaced it almost entirely with the word "skill" in my vocabulary.

Not everyone is a prodigy. Yes, prodigies get lost because they lack opportunity, but that still doesn't mean everyone is a prodigy. If everyone WAS then everyone with enough wealth and opportunity WOULD be and like. I'm sorry, have you SEEN what a fucking moron Elon Musk actually is?

#personal #there's so many steps that just look cooler in a wheelchair tbh #you can compete combi with one standing partner and one partner in a wheelchair #or duo. where both partners are in wheelchairs #really love seeing how you can do the style even without the footwork #have been having a really hard time this week with the fact that i might not be able to dance for much longer #currently i was dancing 6 days a week. 16 hours minimum a week #but i've fainted at every single practice so far #it's taking so much muscle strength to keep myself upright and stop shaking that it's hard to do proper technique #and idk. just always really important to me to see how adaptation and accessibility is not a tragedy #chronic illness tag

I don't use SnS much anymore, but I do miss how agile and supportive it can be. I still use them sometimes for good ol'times' sake.

Switchaxes, though? Well, even when Switchaxes usually left me to get fucked at the worst possible times -cough-animationlock-cough-, the dopamine boost you get when you perfectly iframe monsters compares to literally nothing else, okay? That split second of feeling like a god cancels out all the problems I have with the Switchaxe.

Also it looks really fucking cool GOD I love the Switchaxe.

Anyways not to unnecessarily reiterate anything, but Nerdy Prudes Must Die was really well done and it’s so marvelous to get to see a theater company you’ve been following for over 14 years at this point grow and improve in their technical and creative endeavors this much and I really hope everyone with theater in their soul can find a way to feed their need to perform and express themselves someday
