But Henry is definitely more emotional and internalized with how he expresses himself. Much more in line with how people see royals." Galitzine relished the challenge of portraying Henry's vulnerabilities and his own struggles in sharing them with Alex. "As men, we find it hard to express ourselves and express our feelings," he says. "But that was a fun thing to explore from an acting perspective. [I was] trying to understand that this person is entirely trapped by his upbringing and his family. And the wedge being placed between his family and the person he loves is a very difficult thing to contend with. That was probably the most challenging, trying to make that authentic and real."

Indeed, Prince Henry has lost a parent (his parent, however), he's not bad at polo and he loves to party – one is reminded of Prince Harry's Vegas years when Prince Henry is shown knocking back shots in a bar in Casablanca, peaked cap pulled low. 'There is something probably borrowed from each of them that Casey put into the character [of Prince Henry],' says López. 'I think Harry's inherent rebelliousness and William's inherent sense of duty.' 'What's interesting too,' he continues, 'is the third piece that's missing from the real-life princes is the fact that Henry is gay. So it's easy for Harry to be rebellious because he's straight. And it's easy for William to be dutiful... he doesn't have to tell a lie in order to be dutiful. But Henry does have to tell a lie in order to be dutiful. Because of that lie, he also can't be too rebellious. That's what sets [Henry] apart from the two.'

For Galitzine, another part of the appeal of the project was the chance to portray a character who was experiencing such an intense internal conflict. ‘Henry feels a very strong sense of duty, but he’s completely in denial of his own feelings,’ he says. ‘There’s something very selfless, if not really heartbreaking, about that. Ok destiny I need people(anons) to understand something:

Tom is not giving up Spider-Man for shit. He’s said a hundred times he’d play Peter Parker for as long as he’s able to, and he meant that shit. He’s stood on business about it (the boy got a tattoo of a spider for god’s sake, you know that boy don’t like spiders!)

And as far as wanting him to work on other movies before going back to Spider-Man, you don’t know that he won’t work back to back with different films at the same time. He’s done it with Devil All The Time, Uncharted, Cherry, etc.—he might work back to back and take an even longer break than he’s taking now! Or he might not—that’s the beauty of not knowing people, we’ll never know what he wants to do unless he tells us; you know why? Cause it’s not our fucking place to know 🙃.

I’m so sick of this misplaced concern stans seemed to have—you want him to give up Spider-Man, a character he loves, just because you want him in more roles? Like he can’t have both with the snap of his fingers?? Tom has cemented his status, if he wants a role other than Peter Parker, his agent will secure it or Tom will make it himself, a “stan” should know this by now.

Tom is going to do what TOM wants to do at the end of the day, so fans need to just suck it up, and watch their fave do what he's going to do! Let him be what HE wants to be, and let him do what HE wants to do! RE: Spider-Man.... At one point, Tom DID say in a GQ interview once that if he's still playing Spider-Man by the time he's 30 years old, then something is wrong...(or something to that effect)

Keep in mind though, Tom said that way back in 2021. Maybe he might feel a little differently now? Either way, I kind of think that SOME fans maybe took what he said and ran with it. So now, they really want him to shake the character off.

I personally don't see Tom playing Spider-Man forever, but I DO think that he will always be regarded as one of our "best Spider-Men", and might even make a cameo in a film 20 years from now after his own franchise is long-over lol. 😅 But Sony is willing to have Tom play Spider-Man for as long as he's willing it seems.

And like you said, Tom has had ZERO issues with filming other roles and films while he was still playing Spidey. IDk why some fans think he can't do both if he wanted to? 🥴
