okay, to those who voiced an interest, here’s the link to the google doc with the outline i wrote for 🔗the next Ever After High arc.🔗

i just wanna clarify a few things, though.

i wrote all of this almost a year ago, and even then, i did so with the intent to change things as i saw fit. so it’s definitely nowhere near the final product.

it’s in a sloppy, bullet-point format as opposed to some, i dunno, novel formatting, because it’s written with the intent to be transferred into a screenplay format. so, if at any point it reads like a crappy fanfic dot net story, it’s because it’s meant to be brief.

there are a handful of side-plots that i think may be best served as webisodes rather than being here. that being said, for right now, they’re in there.

there’s new characters introduced, but just think of em as one-offs that are really only important to this arc, like courtly is to wtw. at the end of the day, their existence is meant to serve the development of the main characters.

i copied and pasted it from my notes app, so it’s missing italicization in all the spots i had it in. hopefully it won’t hinder any interpretation of how dialogue should be read.

again, i’ve written this with the intent of it being an ACTUAL ever after high special, meaning it is kid-friendly and has the narrators chime in often with expository dialogue. you’ve been warned.

Ginger is friends with all the villain girls

Like, she’s constantly with at least one of them and it always baffles everyone else, how is she scratching RAMONA BADWOLF’S ears and not getting mauled?

Or how she’s dragging Faybelle Thorn around the school hallways because ‘You don’t need to practice your cheer routine again, you need food, and I just baked a fresh batch of scones’ without as much as a zip of protest from the fairy?

Or when Justine Dancer spread the news that when she went into the dance room she saw Duchess Swan trying to teach her ballet

Or even the fact that she was the only person in the entire school (barring Lizzie Hearts and Madeline Hatter) that wasn’t victim of one of Kitty Cheshire’s pranks

And it specially baffles everyone when she’s seen laying her head on Raven Queen’s legs as the young witch tunes her electric guitar

something I really love about ever after high is that every character that’s even slightly portrayed as a villain or antagonist actually has a reason for being that way besides “that’s just how they are”. Actually fleshed out, 3 dimensional antagonists arent something you see a lot of in kids shows.

for example, Kitty and Faybelle are mean and chaotic, not just because they want to be, but because they idolize their mothers. They want to live up to their mothers legacies and expectations more than anything else.

Lizzie has been trained her whole life to become a queen know for being bold, angry, and ruthless; making it difficult to express any emotion outside of those qualities. She’s also currently stranded in a confusing world that constantly misunderstands her.

Duchess is cursed with a terrible ending to her story, and will do anything to get her own happy ending, even if it means sacrificing friendships.

Ramona only appears to be a mean girl on the outside, she uses that appearance and rivalry with cerise to protect herself and her family.

Blondie is just very hard-working. She is very set on her goals and will do anything to achieve them. She won’t let anyone get in her way.

Apple has been groomed from birth to believe she must hold tradition above all else. She’s been told many lies by those she has always put her trust in, and she believes those lies wholeheartedly. She tries her hardest to be a good person, but is too set in her ways to see any perspective other than her own.
