Murilo had a bad feeling when his phone rang, the display showing an unfamiliar if local number. He frowned, but answered with an awkward "Yeah?"

"Mister uhm... Santos... uh....?"

Oh dear. Murilo was torn between a chuckle and a sigh. "Murilo dos Santos Madrigal. Yeah, that's me. How can I help you?"

"You’re listed as Diogo’s emergency contact, is that right?"

Instantly the smile in the corners of Murilo's mouth froze and he shook his head in shock, finding himself incapable of answering.

"Não...," Murilo felt as though he was choking, "I - I mean yes, yes I am. I'm his husband. Meu Deus, what happened?"

So I read this really cool fic the other day called “the new family portrait” By musicheart08 an Ao3, but anyways, I checked up on it yesterday to see if there was a new chapter and the author wanted to know if they should re-write some of the songs and I though “hey that’s cool, maybe I’ll try and maybe help them!” So I did a rough re-write of ‘family madrigal’ and so I hope you like it!

Bruno got down on one knee and smiled warmly, trying not to come off as creepy.

She looked down and fiddled with her fingers, “ My mommy says not to talk to you becaus you dont use your powers anymore and my daddy says your creepy and will take me away but I-I was wondering if you could..see if my kitty is okay. She’s very sick and she’s never sick so c-could you-”

Bruno smiled, “ Of course I can see if your kitty is okay. What’s you’re kitty’s name?”

The girl smiled, “ Baya! Baya is her name!”

Bruno opened his mouth to say something before hearing a very deep voice calling out.

A very muscular and tall man comes up and grabs the little girl, “ There you are, Maya! I told you to stay away from this creep!”

The man pulls his daughter behind him and looks Bruno dead in the eyes, “You dont desevre to be called a Madrigal.”

Bruno stepped back, “ Well thats a bit rude now-”

The man stepped up closer to him and grabbed him by his shawl, picking him up as if he weighted nothing, “ Get close to my daughter again and I’ll do a lot more then be rude next time, you creep.”

Bruno struggled out of his shawl and fell down. The man threw Bruno’s shawl into the mud and stepped on it as he walked away with his daughter.
