So about that “potential investor” answer

^ judging from this description, these investors are people that Want to be on the island and live there. so, I assume they are people seeking an RBI (residency by investment)

basically, people want to immigrate to Quesdilla Island & acquire residency through a government-administered program. in return they help boost the economy (in this case whatever the federation wants bc they are pretty much the government here)

the original english/spanish speakers came to the island only for a temporary vacation before having it all twisted around on them. q!cellbit and bagi lived here as children. the french plane was downed, turns out q!antoine/baghera/kameto/aypierre all had prior connections to the federation. the ice chamber people were already here

now that we know the federation seems to be offering RBI programs, it means any of our current residents could’ve been someone, or had family (probably like cellbit/bagi’s parents?) that made a conscious investment to live on Quesadilla Island hoping for a nice life here. likely having no idea they were signing up to be an experiment, or participate in conducting experiments

you know the commercial, look how they play up the island as being a beautiful and perfect place to live. but that one is 20 years old and was made by q!pol before he got iced. if this quiz is present-day, that means this kind of thing is probably still going on. what kind of advertising is the federation doing outside of the island…?

we're probably gonna get shorter qsmp lives with more planned lore, but cellbit will still do off-lore lives and have moments where he separates himself from his character and interacts with everyone. he's talking about how playing a morally complex character is a little difficult, because he wants to kill every federation worker, but all events are made by the federation, so it doesn't make sense for his character. he's talking about how the members had a meeting with qsmp admins, there is the federation inside the game and there are the qsmp admins who are the admins, they're literally the mods of the server and they're not the same thing. some special events are made by the admins and some by the federation which are very connected to lore. although, he wants to keep his character and off-character mixed. qcellbit found a way to focus his hatred, this is not about having "different personality", this cellbit is the same cellbit from the beginning, but now all of the hatred he feels is centered around one thing: the federation.

I am having q!tubbo brain rot so have a slice of it.

I am so curious as to which direction Tubbo will take his character. Because nothing what q!tubbo does seems malicious or sometimes even intentional yet so many people take issue with him or his behaviour. And he is somewhat aware of that while at the same time, completely oblivious as to why or how deep the conflict goes.

You have the federation who cannot stand his arse. Who we know is paying extra attention to Tubbo and wants to arrest him the minute he even does something slightly illegal. While they have not arrested him yet, it is only a matter of time. So what do they do in the meantime? They use him as a scapegoat to nerf certain game mechanics or punish him extra harshly in comparison to others who did the exact same things or worse. Yet for some reason, the other qsmp members are under the impression that Tubbo never gets punished and that he is solely to blame for the create nerf, breeding animosity.

Then next, you have the antagonistic fights with Etoiles which started carefree and rather playful but now have been escalating in q!Etoiles telling the codes that Tubbo works with the federation. To be honest, Tubbo is absolutely partly to blame for this one with his cheeky comments to Etoiles about losing his fight with the code. However, it adds another dynamic layer of conflict to the situation.

Finally, you have the vendetta of Bad and Aypierre against Tubbo due to the controversial Tubhole. You can argue all day long about the logistics of Tubhole and whether Bad and Pierre are valid in their objections against it. But the facts remain that it is within Tubbo's rights to do so and that they have not given him the grace period to let him make it into a good build. It literally is still a work in process that has been going on for less than 24 Minecraft hours. And even if it turns out to be ugly, the fact that Tubbo has been building the Tubhole with only create machines is fucking cool and makes it worth it (in my opinion). Moreover, Bad and Pierre both have similar big projects and their concern that it is different because of the close proximity to spawn feels a bit hypocritical as there are other (big) projects near spawn that cause similar amounts of lag.

And now this vendetta has gone from convincing other islanders of how Tubbo must be stopped to them framing Tubbo for the kidnapping of Ron to Fred. A being that everyone on the island at this point knows is important to Tubbo. A relationship which is one of the only ones Tubbo has left, besides the morning crew. We already know how much the relationship between Fred and Tubbo affects Tubbo's emotions so what will losing Fred or their trust do to him?

So now you have this huge cluster of events that puts q!Tubbo in a situation where everyone is against him, the federation, the code entities and most of the islanders as well. An exception can be made for the morning crew however they do not seem to take Tubbo or his concerns seriously, treating it like the mischief and matters of a kid.

And most interestingly, it is still not clear what makes Tubbo so special. Is it his use of create mod? Aypierre, Ramon and Dapper do something similar. Is it his curiosity and distrust of the federation? Cellbit, Badboyhalo en Bagi are right there with him. Is it his apparent greed or selfishness with regard to resources? It is not like he has never shared them or that gathering resources is sole motivation. Is it his knowledge of Minecraft mechanics to break the lore/server? Philza and his fourth wall breaking say hello as does Aypierre. Is it his age then? His relentless attitude to anything that catches his attention? His endless curiosity?

It will be so interesting to see where all these points of contention will lead to and how q!Tubbo will react to it or change as a result of it. Currently, his only concerns are the potential romance with Fred and finishing the Tubhole so that he can get along with everyone again. So he clearly does not know yet how much trouble he truly is in or how the cards are stacked against him...

One day people on this forsaken site will realize Cellbit is not nearly as trusting and naive as he makes himself to be, and that is the day I will finally be at peace.

Cellbit knows he isn't trusted!

He has known this since the very moment he got back and he acts accordingly because this man values trust and loyalty more than anything and he knows how to protect himself, it's just that the way he chose to go about it is not the way people expected.

The Order is an open secret. Because Cellbit wants it to be. He wants people to be included in the investigation, he wants to show them that they are trying to go against the Federation, that they are the problem and leaving the Island should be a main goal. Even if some of the members are so very obviously very fine with said Federation he still wants them to know what is going on.

Foolish is a friend. We all joke that Cellbit is his biggest apologist and honestly I think there is a bit of truth here in the way Cellbit remembers how, even in the middle of his darkest moment, Foolish was still there, he was one of the people who didn't judge him for any of his actions and that is a very important ally to have.

I think Cellbit also understands that Silly Guy Foolish is much more clever than anyone gives him credit for, and much darker as well, and in the end he will choose the side that benefits him and his family more.

And Cellbit wants that side to be the Order, not only as "fuck you" to the Federation, but because he sees a friend in Foolish. Is he someone he really trusts with all his secrets? Absolutely no, but he is someone he cares about and care for him is very tightly connected to trust.

And Jaiden!!!!! Cellbit knows Jaiden is very fond of Cucurucho but she is also someone he cares about, someone who is also very dear to his husband, and he also knows very well what loneliness can push you to do. He doesn't want her to feel excluded because he understands that will be the quickest way of shoving her into the Federation's arms.

So he keeps her close. He shows her the games the Federation plays with them, he exposes their cruelty and manipulation, he offers her a place and he hopes that it will be enough.

Cellbit has experience with how quickly things can go downhill in a group when he refuses to share knowledge with people, when he tries to control them. And he is not that man anymore, he is not the man who isolates himself to the point he has no one to watch his back.

But there are very few people who Cellbit trusts with his darkest secrets, with all the information he has collected. Richas, Roier and Forever. Those are the people who he knows have his back, the ones who would never willingly betray him as long as they could and those are the people Cellbit allows access to his true investigation, mas has a literal hidden room in his castle to store the important things he finds and that literally only his close family even knows that exists.

He doesn't show all his cards even if he does share much of what he finds- The truly sensitive shit? The mysteries without a conclusion? Those Cellbit keeps close to his chest, to be shared as the need arrives, if it ever does.

And also, Cellbit is fucking good liar.

So good in fact that he has managed to trick everyone into thinking he is a bad one. So when he does have to actually lie nobody bats an eye because they don't believe he is capable of lying so easily.

One of my biggest hopes when the server gets back into lore mode, is that we start to see some stress testing on where people's alliances lie.

I feel like for a while now, people have been too complacent in being apart of their respective factions but are rarely being tested on their allegiance. For the most part, Fit, Etoiles, and Bagi are all pretty fine working for the Resitance. They get some info on what the Fed are up to and get to do fun missions sometimes. But this is also the organization that have tried and successfully killed eggs in the past. They sent Cellbit into a mental breakdown, and subsequent killing spree (somewhat of an accident on their part, but they still caused it). Not to mention they actively hold information over people's heads, like they did with Bagi and her parents.

They really aren't good guys, and I feel like they can expand on that. Could you imagine if the Resistance started asking the members to do something that could put the eggs in danger? Or maybe make them capture and torture an innocent worker? As it stands right now there isn't a downside to working with them, despite the Resitance very much not caring about the islanders, as much as they care about destroying the Federation.

I feel this with the Fed aligned people too, but to a lesser extent because at least working with the Fed has caused a tear in relationships with the other islanders. They are supposed to be the evil corperation behind all this (and we know they're capable of messed up things, like egg A1) but no one working with the Fed has had to make a sacrifice for anything, besides betraying their friends a little.

I want to see more moral dilemmas, people questioning if they're doing the right thing or for the greater good. There is no good or bad side, and I want to see that reflected in people's alliances more.

I made my friend suffer thru my rambles of this whole eggnapping arc from the perspective of the brazillians and I thought "wait a minute I should post this so I don't have to be the only person going insane"

When you think about this whole situation in terms of RP, someone fucking kidnapped kids, possibly the organization that monitors and controls every. single. step. you take, and the parents have absolutely no clue to where they are or if they're even alive, them and the rest of the residents are grieving and are starting to revolt, the president they elected in hopes that things on the island could maybe get better has gone mad and has been reduced to a drug-riddled maniac at best and a crazed domestic terrorist at his worst.

The lights suddenly turn to Cellbit, the leader of the organization that has the objective of helping people go against the Federation, with everyone hoping that somehow he will find a way to solve their problems, but he's exhausted, his mind is in shambles and he's slowly losing what's left of his sanity. He lost his son, he lost his best friend and the person that he trusted the most on the island, and when he wakes up on wednesday he'll know he just lost another friend, another member of his family.

Of all the parents of Richarlyson, Forever is the most "mother", and the grief of a mother is one of the most devastating things to ever feel, Forever's whole world revolves around Richarlyson, all the things he did, everything he's been through, it all only has one objective, protect and make Richarlyson happy. Without him, Forever's world loses all of it's colors and everywhere he looks, everything reminds him of his son, who's been the only constant from day 1. Now he's broken, completely, drugged or not he will never be the same Forever from before, the drugs don't keep him stable, they keep him delusional, just enough to not destroy everything in his path. In the back of his mind, he's still counting the seconds that his son has been missing, every time the clock gets louder he has to forcefully shut it down, he's losing himself in the process of numbing his pain, and I can't fault him from taking the pills anyway, even when he knows he shouldn't, that it'll only make things worse, but it hurts, it hurts so much.

Pac feels like he's buried in hopelessness and feels that he can't do anything, he's not as smart as Cellbit, not strong-willed as Mike, not resourceful as Forever, he can't bring joy to others when his own source of joy is missing, his own son. He knows he's losing everyone in his family, but he can only hope that he won't be the last domino to fall, because he knows he won't be able to pick up the pieces. He's going to use the only thing he has left, himself, in hopes that maybe he can create a path for a solution, even if he can't achieve it himself. Either way, the only other option is to silently watch the hours pass by, as he stares at empty green and yellow chairs, just listening to the distant hums of machines and feeling the rustling of leaves on the wind. It has never been this quiet on Ilha Chume Labs before.

I find it funny poetic that Team BOLAS have just chosen to no longer play the game

In RP-wise its poetic cause the main purpose of Purgatory is to sow discordance, hence why all the couples and pairings are split apart, it's supposed to create drama and make them butt heads

Team BOLAS active members are filled with people who in their own way feel alone. Jaiden always feeling outcast because of how she is very forgiving of cucurucho, slime is obvious, foolish always keeping up that act of nothing bothering him when the loss of his family really weighs on him, Cellbit also obvious, Baghera also feeling out of place without pomme and also the whole experiemnt thing, philza losing his kids and just trying to mend the empty spot, and I think this is carres second time logging on

And now they're together just flat out saying secrets because they're at the end of their rope

Outside of RP, yeah they got along and still had fun despite the imbalance because they spent time together irl and thus formed stronger bonds, but those bonds started in RP first, slime and Baghera bonding during elections, the cucurucho buddies, Phil and Cellbit the archivists, etc. They already have such strong ties in RP despite always feeling like their own respective loners

Now they're in a game that forces them to stick it out for their own selves, play the game and grind and sweat, and what do they do at their breaking point? They don't care. They don't car ewho comes for them, they flat out showed themselves and revealed their coords cause it doesn't matter

Yes some of their kids are on the line but at this point, they're certain blue and green will duke it between themselves and see if they take pity thinking red is the cursed team

I remember sometimes winning a game doesn't mean playing it to win, it's playing it how you want to play, and team BOLAS?!?!?!, once they stopped playing for points and victory, started to just take it easy, they won in their own right

When they've been playing the rules of federation island for so long, whether by choice or by force, it's nice for them to simple fall back ont heir trusts in each other and just be.

Mentorship

Hypocrisy, war and empathy. Since we arrived in Purgatory, we have seen the birth of a group that has an almost family-like relationship. The red team or BOLAS treat each other with affection and emotional dependence. But, especially, for q!Philza.

— As always, I will do the analysis from q!Cell's POV, but know that I love this team and the relationship between all the members.

q!Cellbit had already participated in very similar games. Nothing the Great Eye says or urges is new to him. In the hunger games he needed to face much more than three big groups and he knows what it takes to survive in games like that.

The thing is, when he was thirteen, his mentor was cold. Although q!Cell had affection for him and everything they went through by each other's side, q!Bad never worried about him or the fact that at the end of the day his partner was just a child.

No. q!Bad believed and did everything so that his partner didn't care about what he had to do to survive, be it eating human flesh or killing another child his age or older. q!Cellbit grew up in an environment where killing and dying was routine and if q!Bad had mushroom soup for him, it was more than he deserved.

He grew up learning that he himself was a monster and that he had to live with this reality.

However, this is not the view of all the mentors he has had.

q!Philza understands that all members of his team are human, just like those on other teams. For him, what they are doing is terrible and far from what he believes is right.

And although he agrees to do whatever it takes to protect his own, he will go toe-to-toe with "his children" so they can still try to be fair and, most importantly, humane. He fought for q!Cell to return q!Bad's things. He always reassures them that it's okay if they lose or if something happens, always offering help, something that q!Cellbit never had.

Despite all the bad memories that q!Cell is reliving, in addition to the cruelty he is committing and suffering without many obstacles, q!Philza accepts him, sees him as a human and a precious member of his team that he always tries to understand and listen.

q!Cellbit doesn't feel so alone.

We don't know what will happen returning to the island. I would really like the Bolas to take with them the relationship they have built.

Although I really want the continuation of Murder Husbands and the murders of Federation employees, I would also like some of what q!Cellbit learned from q!Philza to continue with him. In addition to asking for help to deal with all the pain and confusion he feels after all the discoveries about his life.

The relationship between mentor and apprentice, father and son that q!Philza and q!Cellbit can become even more beautiful. For now, I'm very happy with the fruits of Purgatory.

Y'ALL I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING

So, we've had a lot of theories on what the federation did to q!Cellbit, and while I've agreed with some of the ideas they've never quite clicked with me completely.

I think they removed q!Cellbit's memories from before the island, like they did with the original Islanders.

Cellbit is one of the few people who fought to get off the island so hard because he had things he explicitly wanted to go back to. After Cucurucho tortured him with a chainsaw he said he had a life beforehand he wanted to go back to, it was something he was completely adamant about.

Even when he was pretending to join the federation, he explicitly was talking about his life before the island and how this was a lot better than that life.

But after his return? He's still adamant to leave, but he isn't rushing it as seriously. Why would a person that determined put their all consuming search on pause?

If they lost their reason for fighting.

He'd have the same thing the previous Islanders showed, and he seems to be taking their path - wanting to leave the island but being much more casual about it rather than the unbridled obsession Cellbit originally showed.

He's participating in events, he's following along with some of the Federation's doings, he's becoming a member of the island in a way the Brazilians hadn't before. But we've seen this in the original Islanders, and with many of the others when they stopped fighting as hard.

They've taken his past from him, in the way they have for the others.

excuse me while i nerd out a little, but the fact that cellbit was the one who found the sword and etoiles the one who found the shield is so special to me, because – metagame aside, the admins are the best —it just goes to show that all the members on the island really do have a purpose to fulfill, and while they’re all friends, they somehow work in contradiction but still in the same frequency. 

q!cellbit, being the brain, was manipulated (or intercepted) to find something that had been lost years ago, a weapon that is so powerful it could take the life of anyone on the island if they wish to do so. something the federation lost control of just like him. 

q!etoiles, being the brawn, was guided to find something that had been made, had failed, and was remade to be the perfect weapon to protect the people from the one thing that could kill all of them. something to protect, just like what he has been doing ever since he got to the island.

I have been thinking and the way people have been so casual about Tubbo’s inevitable kidnapping. Because, while it is kind of funny, it is also very tragic.

All the islanders know what the federation is capable of at this point, what horrors they have already inflicted on their members and how they are not even hiding it anymore at this point.

And here comes Tubbo, this bright-eyed enthusiastic engineering kid who had only recently been defrosted. The moment he was awakened, he started testing boundaries, to see what he could do. First out of curiosity, out of sheer wonder of what this new world had to offer. But he kept being denied, being told no, that he was going too far without being given a good explanation why. Then that passion for science became pure spite with it all coming to a head with the eggs' disappearance. From that point onwards he dares to cross any boundaries, any limits that the federation laid out. Daring them and defying them, and now even coming up with a plan to kill Cucurucho. He has nothing to lose and no one seems to care that he is so careless with his life.

The islanders have accepted that any of them can get kidnapped at any time, that even though they might not like the rules, there is nothing they can do about it. They immediately realised what danger Tubbo was in and they accepted it. Teasing him, making jokes about it and even now with an active arrest out for Tubbo, they still do not take it seriously. It is inevitable after all, so why should they not remain apathetic to it.

Meanwhile, Tubbo is actively spiralling down, his attempts to piss off the federation becoming more extreme with Cucurucho's hatred for Tubbo increasing each time. Never has Cucurucho shown such despise, or even had such an obvious emotional response, for any of the islanders, not even Cellbit. And Tubbo has only been on the island for one week but he is already too dangerous for the tranquillity of the island. Too observant, too smart and too curious. So when - not if - he gets kidnapped, who knows how far Cucurucho will go to make sure that Tubbo will stay in line...

I already made a post listing everyone but here's the interesting bits about the QSMP prison members:

Pol is the only living resident who doesn't seem to have a cell and hasn't been mentioned at all (unless I missed it, please let me know if I did) so it's a complete mystery where he is or what happened to him after Purgatory. He does work for the Federation so it's possible that they just chose not to imprison him, but then where has he been all this time??

Roier, Missa, Carre, Rubius, Vegetta, Willy, Rivers, German, Felps, Lenay, Wilbur and Kameto all had custom bed models, so presumably they are in prison but are sleeping or in a coma (Did they yoink Wilbur back from his tour just to put him in prison??)

Although in Roier's case it might just be his body in which case he's probably still running around as a rat who knows where

Tubbo, Charlie, Cellbit, Baghera and Jaiden have cells assigned to them but their beds are empty and they're nowhere to be seen (Ghosts don't count lol)

My guess is that in Tubbo's case it's just that the admins thought he was gonna log on and then he didn't lmao

We already know Cellbit and Baghera are still in Purgatory so them being missing is expected

Charlie and Jaiden are a complete mystery though. Charlie definitely made it on the boat but hasn't been seen since. Jaiden was last seen in Purgatory and that's all we know because she wasn't there for the finale

So Pol, Charlie and Jaiden are currently kinda driving me nuts... What happened to them??? Where are they???

Should this conflict of interest actually go through, its gonna be real interesting.

Tazercraft have plans to target and potentially assassinate Baghera, who they see as a core competitor. They are still family to/allied with Forever. Forever is not only Baghera's brother, but her political ally as them + Badboyhalo have a pact to work together so long as one of them wins the election. Cellbit is also running as a front to aid Forever, and is presumably allied with Baghera, but also has butted heads with her over policies, meaning the two could see each other as potential threats. This isn't even getting into the other French members: Etoiles is very down for assassination, more so than actually being president, and is backing up Baghera, and the other French presumably as well (yet some of them are also friends of Tazercraft). Then you've got Fit being a friend of Tazercraft, and whatever strange secrets he's got up his sleeve. Felps is running by himself it seems, but I wouldn't be surprised if he allied with another Brazilian candidate at some point (or even became forced to choose between Forever/Cellbit and Mike).

Outside of this web, you've got Foolish running independently and only having an official ally in Jaiden as his ghost writer, and as such (along with his motivations for the server being very superficial) he'll most likely lose and ally himself with another candidate (either to help himself or them). BBH is allied, but he's also not fully trusting Baghera and Forever due to his own paranoia, which could cause a rift (I'm predicting now a BBH and Foolish team up behind the Ordo's backs). Quackity doesn't currently have any solid allies save for a potential and very mysterious connection to the Federation, making him a wildcard. There's a chance the Spanish speakers may favor him, though Roier doesn't want to get involved (his marriage to Cellbit could make him either support Cellbit or go against Cellbit since he doesn't want his husband involved either, which could lead him to Quackity's side), Vegetta would most likely support Foolish (which would give Foolish a very powerful ally and assassin on his side), and Maxo has pledged his support for Forever (they are also both Ordos and Maxo would most likely support the Forever/BBH/Baghera/Cellbit alliance). Gegg is a joke but Charlie is a menace and a friend of Quackity who could stir things up in his favor when it comes down to it (that or he commits to being Mike's brother and another ally goes into TC's field). And Philza is an anarchist who would kill everyone involved if given a motive...

Honestly, I think that Jaiden is being used as a distraction for Baghera at that time. If you see the missions that she has to do, the one she has to get for Baghera was so many things. Maybe she really needs these things for a specific mission in the future but why from these specific people? Why can’t Jaiden get it herself or get these from other people. The timing really is very suspicious ngl. Now people will suspect Jaiden.

Cucurucho also manipulates people in a way where they make you think he’s agreeing to what you request when in reality he never says it so. Like he starts off by asking Jaiden for what she wants and she says she wants a way to ensure the safety of the eggs and he doesn’t say “ok say no more” he says “I might have something for you.” Like tf? She even confirmed it when she asks if the eggs will be safe if she does the missions and cucurucho says maybe.

Jaiden is right though, out of everyone in the server only she has nothing left to lose specially since Roier now has a new family, even Maxo is part of theory brothers. Quackity has a new son. Slimariana have eachother. Jaiden was saying the absolute truth when she said she only has Bobby. She is the perfect person to try and trust Cucurucho and find out if there really is a way to save them specially since she can take the risk unlike Cellbit who has everything left he could still lose. That’s probably why he failed somehow.

I hope Jaiden doesn’t end up like Cellbit though. Unlike Cellbit who pretended to betray his friends to side with the federation, Jaiden was transparent about what she wants out of Cucurucho. She knows full well the risks involved and decided that if there is absolutely no way the eggs can be protected, trusting that Cucurucho will follow through with his end of the deal might be the only way and she’s willing to take that risk.

Everybody was excited for Jaiden’s villain arc but I’m looking forward to Jaiden being the Hero we all didn’t expect much more. The grief of the mother who threw all her hatred to the one who truly caused the death of her son. The man behind the salughter lol jk. But seriously, imagine Jaiden, one of the poorest and weakest members of the server being the one to defeat the federation once and for all.
