Kim Il Sung[d] (/ˈkɪm ˈɪlˈsʌŋ, -ˈsʊŋ/;[3]Korean: 김일성, Korean pronunciation: [kimils͈ʌŋ]; 15 April 1912 – 8 July 1994) was a Korean politician and the founder of North Korea. He ruled the country from the country's establishment in 1948 until his death in 1994. Afterwards, he was declared its eternal president. His birth name was Kim Song Ju (김성주).

Several sources claim the name "Kim Il Sung" had previously been used by a prominent early leader of the Korean resistance, Kim Kyung-cheon.[33]: 44 The Soviet officer Grigory Mekler, who worked with Kim during the Soviet occupation, said that Kim took this name from a former commander who had died.[40] However, historian Andrei Lankov has argued that this is unlikely to be true. Several witnesses knew Kim before and after his time in the Soviet Union, including his superior, Zhou Baozhong, who dismissed the claim of a "second" Kim in his diaries.[12]: 55 Historian Bruce Cumings pointed out that Japanese officers from the Kwantung Army have attested to his fame as a resistance figure.[25]: 160–161

According to the 2019 book Surprise, Kill, Vanish by investigative journalist Annie Jacobsen, the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) once concluded that Kim Il Sung was a blackmailed imposter operated by the Soviet Union.[41] The dossier titled "The Identity of Kim Il Sung" ascribed the leader's true identity to Kim Song-ju, an orphaned child caught stealing money from a classmate who killed his classmate to avoid embarrassment. The dossier alleges Soviet intelligence officers identified the opportunity to blackmail Kim Song-ju into leading the North Korean Communist Party as a Soviet puppet under the name of the real war hero Kim-Il Sung, whom Stalin had disappeared. Jacobsen also writes that the CIA learned "specific instructions [were] given to the leaders of the regime that there should be no questions raised about Kim [Il Sung]'s identity."[41]

Historians generally accept the view that, while Kim's exploits were exaggerated by the personality cult which was built around him, he was a significant guerrilla leader.

Bu diziyi izledikten çok sonra öğrendim ki başrol oyuncusu Kim Soo-Hyun Kore’de çok ünlü bir artistmiş. Tabi izlerken bunu bilmediğim için bana bir şey ifade etmedi. Jun Ji-Hyun’u ilk My Sassy Girl filminde izlemiştim. Belki de benim Kore sineması ile tanıştığım ilk yapım olabilir. O yüzden bende yeri başka olsa da kendisini çok da beğenmiyorum. My Sassy Girl’den sonraki rollerinde favorim olduğu söylenemez.

Dizinin konusuna gelince, Do min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) 400 yıl önce uzaydan bir kuyruklu yıldız ile dünyaya gelmiş, küçük bir kızı kurtarmak için geri dönüş aracını kaçırınca dünyada kalmış. Geri dönebilmesi için kuyruklu yıldızın tekrar dünyadan geçmesi gerekmektedir. Yıldızın gelmesi de 400 yılda bir oluyordur ve 3 ay kalmıştır. Şu işe bakın ki, Kore de mahsur kalan uzaylıda çekik gözlü olmuş. Dünya da geçirdiği zaman boyunca kendini insanlardan soyutlamış, belli periyodlar ile kimlik değiştirmiştir.

Kore'nin en popüler oyuncusu Chun Song Yi (Jun Ji-Hyun), uzaylı arkadaşımızın komşusudur. Oyunculuk kariyeri bir yanlış anlaşılma yüzünden yerle bir olduğu için evde daha çok zaman geçirmek zorunda kalmış. Bu da uzaylımız ile daha çok karşılaştıkları anlamına geliyor. İkisinin tesadüfi karşılaşmaları sonucunda da diziye giriş yapmış oluyoruz.

Vallahi yoklukta zaman geçirmek için izledim. Ne yalan söyleyeyim… Her ne kadar oyuncuları iyi olsa da dizinin konusu ve seyirciye sunulan hikaye çok da oyunculukların altını doldurmuyordu. Neden sorusuna asla cevap vermeyen bir senaryo ile karşı karşıyayız. Altı boş olmasının yanı sıra farklı bir hikayeye de sahip değil. Aldığı ödül kategorilerini hakketmiş olmasını kadrosuna bağlıyorum.

Dizinin kurgusu, çekimleri, yönetmeni gayet başarılı. Sıkılmadan izledim, ama beni tatmin etmedi. Muhtemelen saç şeklinden kaynaklı, uzaylımız daha çok robota benziyordu. Mimiksiz, tepsiz. Çok sonra It's okay to not be okay dizisinde kendisi ile karşılaştığım zaman ciddi bir şaşkınlık yaşadım. Şahane bir oyuncuymuş, şapka çıkarıyorum. Ama bu dizi için şapkam kafamda maalesef.

Dizi ile ilgili spoiler verebileceğim bir detay dahi yok. Uzaylımızın 3 ayı kalmış, şımarık oyuncu kızımız ile komşuculuk vasıtası ile yakınlaşıyorlar. Uzaylımız insanlardan 100 kat daha kuvvetli duyma, ışınlanma, zamanı durdurma gibi güçlere sahip. Her sıkıntıda kızın yanında bitiveriyor. Arka planda bir cinayet mevzusu dönüyor. Onun dışında tabi ki aşk üçgenleri söz konusu.

Dizide sevdiğim tek şey yan roller olabilir. Yoo In-Na‘nın naif oyunculuğu ile tanışmış oldum. Daha sonra Goblin dizisinde onu görmek hoşuma gitti. Ve “Cinderella and the four knights” dizisinin parlak dudaklı jönü Ahn Jae-Hyeon’u vardı. Chun Song Yi karakterinin küçük erkek kardeşi Cheon Yoon-Jae rolündeydi. Uzaylı ile aralarında geçen sahneler, başrollerin sahnelerinden daha eğlenceliydi. Son olarak Park Hae-Jin ikinci erkek rolünde karşımıza çıkıyordu. Dizide en sevdiğim karakter oldu.

En kötüsü ise sonunda anten çekmiyor diye bitirmeleri oldu. Daha bir şey demeyeceğim.

[NEWS] 220420 YoonA & Junho casted in new romcom drama 'King The Land'

On April 20, “King the Land” (working title) confirmed that 2PM’s Lee Junho and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA will be starring in the new rom-com drama together!

“King the Land” is about a chaebol heir named Goo Won who cannot stand fake smiles. He meets Cheon Sa Rang who is always equipped with a bright smile even when she does not want to due to the nature of her profession, and together, the two set out to find happy days in which they can sincerely smile brightly together. King the Land refers to a VVIP business lounge, which is a place of dreams for hoteliers.

Lee Junho will be playing the role of Goo Won who has been thrown into the a battle of inheritance for the King Group, which owns hotels, an airline, and distribution companies. With a brilliant mind, innate grace, and captivating charms, Goo Won has everything except for good sense when it comes to dating.

YoonA will be starring as Cheon Sa Rang who makes the world brighter with just her smile. Cheon Sa Ra lands a job at King Hotel, which gave her the happiest memories when she was young, and she matures while facing all sorts of prejudice and misunderstanding.

Scriptwriter Cheon Sung Il from “All of Us Are Dead” will be participating as a creator for “King the Land,” which will be produced by npio Entertainment of “The Red Sleeve,” “Forecasting Love and Weather,” and “A Time Called You.” BY4M will also be co-producing the drama.

After wrapping up casting, “King the Land” will begin filming this fall. The broadcast schedule and platform have yet to be decided.

My top 10 Korean OSTs of 2019

I feel the last few posts I’ve apologized for not posting and truth is I took a break from dramas for about three months so by the time December came I was so behind and I felt I couldn’t do my usual end of the year top 10 lists. However the past few weeks I’ve been catching up and now I feel ready to pick my favorites of 2019. I’ll start with OSTs, as I’ve done in the past, I only chose songs from dramas that started in 2019 and one per drama otherwise the whole list would be Hotel Del Luna OSTs.

Honorable Mention. Chen-Rainfall. It was so hard to pick this list and I could probably pick another 10 honorable mentions but I feel this song of the Chief of Staff drama felt so epic and I just had to add it

10. Kim Feel-Fallin’. Abyss was such a fun drama and the romance was so sweet just like this song.

9. Punch-Like a heroine in the movie. I’m not going to lie. This is not Punch’s best OST of 2019. She sang three Hotel Del Luna OSTs and they all were so good however there’s just too many good OSTs from that drama. I know John Park’s Foolish Love is the most popular song of When the Camellia Blooms but this was my favorite one. I just love Punch’s voice.

8. Seulgi-Always. The Crowned Clown had so many ups and downs to the point I’m not sure if I liked it at all, however there’s some really nice OSTs and my favorite one is this song by Red Velvet’s Seulgi.

7. Jannabi-Take my hand. I was so convinced I was going to love Romance is a Bonus Book just because Lee Jong Suk was part of it but somehow I just never connected with this drama. So actually my favorite part of this drama is this song by Jannabi. They are an indie band that was getting really popular last year but a few controversies got in the way. Nevertheless their songs are just so my style of music.

6. O3ohn-Milky Way Between Us. WWW: Search was one of my favorite dramas of 2019 and it was one of those dramas that had so many good songs. WOW by Mamamoo and Kim Na young’s I get a little bit lonely are a must listen but this song by O3ohn felt like it capture the essense of the drama.

5. 10 cm-But it’s destiny. Crash landing on you is probably my favorite end of the year drama and I’m just obsessed with this song. 10 cm has so many great OSTs and this one is no exception. This drama has some really good songs including Jaehwan’s Someday and Yoon Mi Rae’s Flower.

4. Ha Sung Woon-Think of you. Her private life is one of my favorite romantic comedies of 2019 and Wanna One’s Sung Won’s vocals really shine in this sweet song. It was actually hard pick only one from this drama because I also loved Lee Hae Ri’s Maybe.

3. Chen-Make it count. I feel like every year since I started picking my favorite OSTs of the year Chen releases an amazing OST and this year is no different. I know I’m biased but this song by EXO’s Chen just puts me in a great mood and it’s probably the OST I listened to the most in 2019 given it was released in February. Touch your heart was a fun drama and it featured some interesting songs. Check out Wendy’s What if love and Jeong Sewoon’s Good Night.

2. Ha Jin- We all lie. SKY CASTLE was probably the most talked about drama of the year in Korea and this song was just iconic. From the first second it just grabs your attention. Princess maker by Cheon Dan Bi and It has to be you by ABOUT are also a nice listen.

1. Taeyeon-All about you. Hotel Del Luna, in my opinion, had by far the best OSTs in 2019. I could even make a top 10 favorite OSTs from Hotel Del Luna. It was one of my favorite dramas of the year as well so picking just one of the OSTs was almost imposible. I still can’t believe I didn’t pick Heize’s Can you see my heart or 10 cm’s Lean on me however there’s just something about Taeyeon’s vocals on this song that just feel grand and when I look back at this drama I have flashbacks of scenes where this song was featured. Make sure to also listen to Red Velvet’s See the stars, Yang Da Il’s Only you, Chung Ha’s At the end, Gummy’s Remember me, and finally Another day, Done for me and Love Deluna all by Punch.

“Seobu Jeonseon” ou “The Long Way Home” est une comédie d’action sud-coréenne datant de 2015, écrite et réalisée par Cheon Sung-il, qui signe là son unique métrage à ce jour. Les acteurs principaux sont Sol Kyung-gu, qu’on a pu voir dans “The Spy: Undercover Operation” (2013), Yeo Jin-goo, qu’on a pu voir dans “Hwayi: A Monster Boy” (2013), Lee Geung-young, qu’on a pu voir dans “The Battleship Island” (2017), Jung In-gi, qu’on a pu voir dans “Detective K: Secret of the Virtuous Widow” (2011), Jo Hee-bong, qu’on a pu voir dans “Cruel Winter Blues” (2006), et Kim Won-hae, qu’on a pu voir dans “Asura: The City of Madness” (2016).

L’histoire proposée par “The Long Way Home” nous emmène en juillet de l’année 1953 dans les derniers jours de la guerre en Corée. Nous allons suivre Jang Nam-bok (Sol Kyung-gu) chargé d’une mission importante : délivrer un document militaire top secret, susceptible de décider du sort de la guerre. Après l’avoir perdu alors qu’il était attaqué par l’ennemi, il fait face à un adolescent nord-coréen, incorporé de force, du nom de Kim Young-kwang (Yeo Jin-goo), qui acquiert le document secret alors qu’il tente de rejoindre sa patrie au Nord…

Les coréens ont cette particularité de mêler les genres. Ce n’est pas toujours réussi, mais avec “The Long Way Home” ça fonctionne plutôt bien. On passe de la comédie très drôle, très amusante, au drame parfait avec une bonne dose de tragédie. Le contraste est fort, mais dans les deux registres, c’est très bien orchestré. Ceci étant dit, on peut commencer par retenir l’aspect action du métrage. Le récit se déroulant durant la guerre de Corée, qui rappelons-le, s’est déroulée de juin 1950 à juillet 1953. Elle résulte de la partition de la Corée à la suite d’un accord entre les Alliés victorieux de la guerre du Pacifique à la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

On retrouve donc des éléments très familiers de nombreux films de guerres, des fusillades, des explosions, des attaques aériennes sur des convois militaires ennemis, des escarmouches, etc. La photographie signée par Lee Jae-hyeok est très agréable avec un beau travail au niveau des décors, des costumes et de la reconstitution des différents véhicules et autres aéronefs. Beaucoup de situations sont construites de manière humoristique avec des personnages très maladroits et finalement peu expérimentés. Toutes les scènes mettant en scène le char d’assaut de Kim Young-kwang sont très drôles. La séquence où les deux personnages principaux se battent en duel, l’un à pied, sans protection et l’autre protégé dans son tank, est très amusante, avec un top départ qui rappelle celui qui lance le combat entre Bruce Lee et Chuck Norris dans “La Fureur du Dragon” (1972).

En toile de fond, on retrouve le conflit qui oppose les deux parties de la Corée, mais le scénario concocté par Cheon Sung-il, qui endosse ici la double casquette de réalisateur et de scénariste, offre également un regard sur le fait que dans de nombreuses guerres, on retrouve des personnes qui n’ont rien à y faire. Le personnage incarné par Sol Kyung-gu n’est, à l’origine, qu’un simple agriculteur alors que le personnage joué par Yeo Jin-goo est un jeune étudiant. Le peu d’expérience qu’ils ont de la guerre et du combat se présente quasiment comme un lourd handicap, les amenant dans des situations ubuesques et hasardeuses. Leurs pérégrinations vont finalement les conduire à développer une certaine forme d’amitié et de sympathie l’un envers l’autre, ce qui rendra la fin d’autant plus émouvante et dramatique.

En conclusion, “The Long Way Home” est une agréable comédie, disposant d’une histoire amusante, d’une intrigue rocambolesque et d’un développement dynamique. Le récit est fluide et le rythme est assez soutenu. La photographie est très agréable avec un très bon travail sur les décors, les costumes et les véhicules. Les effets spéciaux sont bien maîtrisés et les éléments humoristiques sont bien travaillés et parfaitement divertissants. La distribution offre de très bonnes prestations, tant dans le domaine de la comédie que dans la tragédie. L’ensemble est un agréable divertissement que l’on peut aisément recommander.
