Can I just take a minute to talk about how beautiful ADHD hyperfixations are?
Like, I think for a long time I felt so ashamed that I "couldn't stick to one thing". But isn't it wonderful how ADHDers get to experience loving so many things so much? Isn't it wonderful how we can learn so much and then file it away in our brain to come back to later? Isn't it wonderful that we can connect with so many different people over their love of *insert thing here* because we remember being so in love with it? Isn't it wonderful that we know so much about so many different things, and that sometimes a random piece of knowledge we attained through hyperfixation years ago comes back at just the right time to help someone?
Isn't it wonderful?

thinking about how pain slooows you down.
thinking about a whump situation where one character would just love to get to over where the other character(s) are, but the pain is just so incapacitating that they can barely trudge a single step.
having to use a box or chair or crate or boulder even to get to their feet.
limbs shaking, sweat-slicked fingers slipping. crashing onto their hands or elbows, nausea rising.
swaying on the spot as their vision goes dark from the build-up of pain in their body. even the small movement of getting to their feet making them feel like they're swimming through some ungodly combination of lava and concrete.
their mind submerged in the confusion and anxiety of the physical shock they're experiencing from being in so much pain and trying to move any distance at all. to the point that when someone calls their name, all they can do is blink in the general direction of where the voice came from.
stumbling forward and sideways and backwards as the pain becomes all-consuming, to the point where they just can't move, reaching out to try to catch hold of a wall or tree or anything to brace themselves against.
feeling themselves falling, unable to stop, knowing the impact with the wall or ground is going to suck -
a set of hands reaching out to catch them -
and even if it belongs to their worst enemy, its a welcome aid, because they just cannot fucking take another step on their own.

I love you too.
Anyways, definitely don't want you to think about poor, puppy Seokmin who gets hard so easily. He just can't help it. You just get him so easily excited. Definitely don't want you to think about him whining and leaking all over his boxers because he wants to fuck you so, so bad. I for sure don't want you think about him unintentionally holding you so hard that he leaves bruises because he's so eager and your pussy is squeezing him so good. You probably shouldn't think about how much and how hard he cums either. His big cock staying deep inside of you the entire time while he babbles about how grateful he is that you let him breed you <3

Hey gee! 👋 Hope you're having a good week and your kitty (PJ?) is giving you lots of cuddles. Or if they are not very cuddly, no scratches 😉
Where do you think Levi is on the moral axis (a la D&D)? Neutral good (saving humanity and sacrificing himself, etc. but no huge adherence/loyalty to law and order) is where I'm leaning, but what do you think? Also, as to where he'd be in the Underground... chaotic neutral maybe? I've flip-flopped a few times trying to think this out!
xoxo
hiiii :3 lol it was super super rough there for a while but this week has been good! LOL pj honestly never scratches or bites, he's most likely to just run away if we're play fighting cos he's such a baby /pos. he enjoys his fair share of cuddles
ALSO sorrryyy i put off answering this because i don't know anything about dnd lol (but i looked up the axis).
i think no regrets levi is the pinnacle of lawful neutral? he cares about nothing beyond surviving and keeping his friends safe, the end. even if that means doing immoral things like stealing, or making money via peddling drugs or weapons. i think not enough people recognize that levi was casually the most wanted criminal / THE crime boss in the underground
depending on how you look at it, i think levi is either chaotic good or neutral good. that is, through a moral lens versus being a scout. making the difficult choice in s1 to unload the corpses is technically immoral, but the best choice to make to spare the lives of everyone else. beating jean and eren's asses in s3 to break up their fight and let off steam from his and erwin's argument is another example. i think he falls under neutral good regardless though since he's a good boy

im so done with seeing articles about kids and screen time that doesnt mention parent behaviors even once. “kids are always on their phones” so are the parents! which the kids look to for how they should behave! ipad babies didn’t chose to only play on their ipads, thats what their parents gave them!
an anecdotal example: when i was a kid, all my parents would do in their minimal free time was watch tv and then they would be surprised when in my sister and i’s minimal free time we would also only watch tv/play video games. they scolded us for not reading books, but they never read books. they scolded us for not going outside but they never went outside.
“kids are always on their damn phones” my mom is in her 60s and opens up candy crush anytime she’s sitting — it isnt just the kids

i got rickrolled today but it didn't work because i have adblocker installed, so youtube just told me i violated the terms of service. yesterday i was trying to edit a picture as a joke for my girlfriend, and google made me check a box to prove i'm human because i wasn't "searching normally".
it isn't just that capitalism is killing fun and whimsy, it is that any element of entertainment or joy is being fed upon by this mosquito body, one that will suck you dry at any vulnerability.
do you want to meet new friends in your city? download this app, visit our website, sign up for our email list. pay for this class on making a terrarium, on candlemaking, on cooking. it will be 90 dollars a session. you can go to group fitness, but only under our specific gym membership. solve the puzzle, sign up for our puzzle-of-the-month-club. what is a club if not just a paid opportunity - you are all paying for the same thing, which makes you a community.
but you're like me, i know it - you're careful, you try the library meetings and the stuff at the local school and all of that. the problem is that you kind of want really specific opportunities that used to exist. you are so grateful for libraries and the publicly-funded things: they are, however, an exception - and everything they have, they've fought tooth-and-nail to protect. you read a headline about how in many other states, libraries have virtually nothing left.
do you want to meet up with your friends afterwards? gift your friends the discord app. you can choose to go to a cafe (buy a coffee, at least), a bar (money, alcohol) or you can all stay in and catch a movie (streaming) or you can all stay in bed (rent. don't get me started) and scream (noise complaint. ticket at least).
you want to read a new book, but the book has to have 124 buzzwords from tiktok readers that are, like, weirdly horny. you can purchase this audiobook on audible! your podcast isn't on spotify, it's on its own server, pay for a different site. fuck, at least you're supporting artists you like. the art museum just raised their ticket price. once, they had a temporary exhibit that acknowledged that ~85% of their permanent art galleries were from cis white men, and that they had thousands of works by women (even famous women, like frida! georgia o'keefe!) just rotting in their basement. that exhibit lasted for 3 months and then they put everything away again.
walmart proudly supports this strip of land by the street! here are some flowers with wilting leaves. its employees have to pay out-of-pocket for their uniforms. my friend once got fined by the city because she organized a community pick-up of the riverfront, which was technically private property.
no, you cannot afford to take that dance class, neither can i. by the way - i'm a teacher. i'm absolutely not saying "educators shouldn't be paid fairly." i'm saying that when i taught classes, renting a studio went from 20 bucks an hour to 180 in the span of 6 months. no significant changes to the studio were made, except they now list the place as updated and friendly. the heat still doesn't work in the building. i have literally never seen the landlord who ignores my emails. recently they've been renting it out at night as an "unusual nightclub; a once-in-a-lifetime close-knit party." they spent some of those 180 dollars on LEDs and called it renovating. the high heels they invite in have been ruining the marley.
do you want to experience the old internet? do you want to play flash games or get back the temporary joy of club penguin? you can, you just need to pay for it. i have a weird, neurodivergent obsession with occasionally checking in to watch the downfall and NFT-ification of neopets. if i'm honest with you all - i never got into webkins, my family didn't have the money to buy me a pointless elephant. people forget that "being poor" can mean literally "if i buy you that toy, i can't afford rent."
you and i don't have time to make good food, and we don't have the budget for it. we are not gonna be able to host dinner parties, we're not made of money, kid. do you want some kind of 3rd space? a space that isn't home or work or school? you could try being online, but - what places actually exist for you? tiktok counts as social media because you see other people on it, not because they actually talk to you.
there was a local winter tradition of sledding down the hill at my school. kids would use pizza boxes and jackets and whatever worked, howling and laughing. back in september, they made a big announcement that this time, rules were changing, and everyone must pay 10 dollars to participate. when im not scared shitless, i kind of appreciate the environmental irony - it hasn't gone below 40. so much for snow & joyriding.
i saw a bulletin for a local dogwalking group and, nervous about making a good first impression, showed up early. the first guy there grimaced at me. "sorry," he said. "there's a 30-dollar buy-in fee." i thought he was joking. wait. for what? the group doesn't offer anything except friendship and people with whom to walk around the city.
he didn't know the answer. just shrugged at me. "you know," he said. "these days, everything costs money."

There's some dude (derogatory) on FB who is PISSED people are pricing their farm fresh eggs at $2 and $3 a dozen instead of $4+, saying it's "disrespectful" and "undignified" and "I'm trying to feed my kids" like Sir, you are on a Facebook group page bitching about your neighbors egg prices because your pet chickens aren't earning you a living wage and you think it's your neighbors' fault, you do not have a leg to stand on here wrt dignity.
Also half the answers are like "I give them to friends and family free" or "I donate them to food banks" or "I'm making them affordable to folks who might not otherwise be able to get them now that they're so expensive in the store" and "if you think you're going to turn a profit keeping backyard chickens you have been wildly misled" and so on, and so forth, and I'm so living for it.
and I can tell you right now, he did NOT like my answer of "if you're trying to feed your kids, I hear eggs are edible."
