Il progetto 'Models Matter' nasce in modo fortuito nel 2008 quando lo stilista francese Christopher Niquet chiese il suo primo autografo alla modella Peggy Moffit a Beverly Hills. Niquet non era mai stato un cacciatore di autografi, ma da quel momento si lancia in una ricerca metodica e su scala mondiale delle più importanti icone delle passerelle internazionali per ottenerne gli autografi. Nel volume ogni autografo è presentato incorniciato e accompagnato da un'immagine iconica della modella. Tra le protagoniste di 'Models Matter': Jerry Hall, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Jean Shrimpton, Anita Pallenberg, Isabella Rossellini, Claudia Schiffer, Twiggy, Veruschka, Pat Cleveland ...

In 2008, Christopher Niquet, a well-known French stylist, spotted the 1960s supermodel Peggy Moffitt in a Beverly Hills restaurant. Never an autograph chaser, he nonetheless felt compelled to ask for hers. This candid moment ignited an obsessive, ongoing quest. Niquet began to reach out to the models he considered quintessential figures in his industry, for their epic beauty and remote auras. Deploying a sleuth's methods to locate these models around the globe, he collected 100 signatures, most of which are framed along with an iconic portrait.

Daniel King is an Australian fashion photographer based in New York. These images are from his body of work Ukraine Youth: Between Days published by Damiani in 2014.

The "Rise up, Ukraine!" demonstrations which had started in May were beginning  to shake the capital when Daniel King photographed a defining moment for the country and its emerging youth. The sudden and almost invisible awakening of adulthood in the adolescents he photographed coincided with a movement of underground rebellion within the city.  

Weeks were spent documenting the architecture of the city and the remains of the Communist era. He met teenagers in the streets and then encountered them by the lakes or for drinks in the public parks, all the while establishing bonds that would ultimately lead them to share a house.
