having incredibly spoiled guinea pigs really is something else because I think pets like cats or dogs do realize they're being spoiled and they love their humans for it (even if that love often includes whining for special treatment) but I think .Jpeg and .TIFF just want me dead because how dare I pick them up and treat their dry skin with coconut oil?! I'm basically ripping their limbs off!

#my family have had dogs my entire life #i’ve always had really itchy dry skin #one of those kids that was constantly red #i’ve lived away from my family for years now #and only today realised that my skin flares up way more where my dog has licked me/where i’ve cuddled her #not great but at least i can try to minimise the reaction now

It’s that time of year again where I’m terrified my dog is too cold and she is willingly sleeping in the pouring rain haha. She definitely has access to shelter. Does she use it? Nah. Nope! Nada. All the goats are bone dry and she’s soaked 🙃 and happy as a clown about it. Prancing around and shaking off the wet and laying down to get another soaking. Whole ass goat shelter she could go curl up in. Nah. She’s good. In the rain. JFC.

Here she is resting in her kennel drying off after a long night of working. What a GOOBER. and the only thing that mollifies me is going on Reddit and FB and reading other anecdotes about their Great Pyrenees dogs and how much they also like the cold and how they’re Really Just Fine and they’re mountain dogs and blah blah blah and and and
