I've written to two parties in Ontario about antisemitism and antisemitic comments and garments.
I am told to be safe, to disregard my culture, my religion, my identity, so people who are prohamas don't kill me.
I spend my days in fear, in "one of most culturally diverse countries".
I wrote two parties (NDP and Conservatives) about their stance on letting a poltical statement be worn in a government hall. This garment I have never seen anyone wear before the terrorists attacked Israel so brutally.
The government doesn't understand that they can not do this, they can not let keffiyeh be worn in government institutions, like I can't wear anything that says "bring them home." That's so fucked up. It is a garment worn to incite fears into Jews and to cover your face. You're stand so proudly, yet cover your face. Cowards.
So if they allow this, I will be asking to speak in the House of Commons, wearing a shirt that says "let my people go!"
If this was really about palestine, the hostages would be back, war would be over.
You dont care about life, you just care about having an excuse to kill, assault, harass, bully, and worse to Jews.
Apparently we don't matter.
I sent video and picture evidence to support my case.

"HANNA OR BECK IN CASE PREMIER SHOULD RETIRE?" Windsor Record. December 22, 1913. Page 1. ---- Water Important "Plank" in Platform of Each - The One Fish, the Other Power. ---- Toronto, Dec. 22. The indispostion of Sir James Whitney has given rise to much speculation as to who would succeed him in case he should be compelled to retire. It is generally thought that Mr. Hanna undoubtedly would have been his successor had it not been for the Proudfoot charges. The name of Mr. Beck has also been already mentioned. It is well known that there in rivalry between these two ministers, and some go as far as to say that neither would serve under the other. Mr. Beck is strong in popular favor owing to his work on the hydro commission, but it is the impression that he is not popular amongst the Conservative members of the house. It is an open fact that he seldom attends cabinet meetings.
One quiet rumor is that Sir William Meredith, instead of becoming governor of the province, a post which is said to have been offered him, but which he himself declares he has not considered, is slated to succeed Sir James as prime minister, if any change at all is to be made.
Under the present arrangement of the cabinet, Hon. J. J. Foy, provincial attorney, is senior member and acting premier when Sir James Whitney is away. But Mr. Foy, they say, is tired of politics. He would like to drop out if rumor speaks truly.
On the other hand, Mr. Hanna is in the full flush of his administrative power. He is, perhaps, the most progressive of Conservatives, with the exception of Mr. Beck. He has made revolutionary changes in the systems of the management of the provincial prisons and asylums, and as a result these institutions are more nearly self-supporting than they ever were before, while at the same time the objects of the prison and the asylum namely, reformation and cure, are attained with greater success.
Mr. Hanna, as is well known, might have been appointed to the position of chairman of the railway board of the Dominion of Canada at $10,000 a year had he not preferred to stay with Sir James Whitney as provincial secretary at $5,000. This is an important consideration in his favor. Mr. Hanna is, moreover very closely in touch with the active organizations of the Conservative party. Party workers look to him as second in command. He is in sympathy, also, with many of the more progressive policies of government today, including tax reform to which Sir James objects, as was witnessed at the sessions of the assessment commission last year. Tax reform leaders believe that had it been left to Mr. Hanna's guidance the commission would have reported in favor of important amendments to the assessment act. Sir James came home, however, and, as is his wont when precedents are being attacked, "just put his foot down."
Other Activities of Hanna's Mr. Hanna, as provincial secretary, has shown an energy which has pleased the temperance supporters of the government, in enforcing the local option bylaws, which have been passed in so many municipalities of Ontario.
And to these he now announces that he will add the fish business. Ontario has practically the entire northerly half of the great lakes under her jurisdiction, admittedly the finest fresh water fisheries in the world, originally at least. They have been greatly depleted, and though restocking has been undertaken on both the American and Canadian sides, the demand exceeds the diminishing supply. The result is that American fish companies are so keen to get Canadian lake fish that they have practically organized the trade out of Canadian hands. Ninety percent, of the fish caught on the Ontario side of the lakes, goes, it is said, across the border.
Mr. Hanna has experienced the difficulty common to Ontario consumers in general. He will go into the fish business as a government enterprise. Whether his plans reach further than the acquisition of a tug or two and a few fish depots on the lakes, where direct supply of fish will be procured for the needs of prisons and asylums, or whether be will re-organize the whole industry under government auspices has not been definitely stated.
Mr. Beck's Claims. Hon. Adam Beck, " minister of power," the other of these two out standing figures in Conservative Ontario, has become somewhat a popular hero in the Conservative press, and in the municipalities where hydro power has been successfully introduced. He it was who campaigned and agitated for the distributing of Niagara power as a public enterprise. He it was who worked out the business details, secured the engineering facts, and "educated" the municipalities of the province into faith in the scheme and in each other, the latter task being perhaps the more notable achievement of the two. And he it was who "educated" and urged Sir James Whitney and his government up to the stage of action despite the fact that Sir James hau already refused to enter the public ownership of electrical distribution when he "turned down" the offer of the English bondholders who would have sold him the electrical development plant and power lines now controlled by Sir William Mackenzie.

Lack of Integrity and Substantial Harm to the Greenbelt & Ontario in General Under Doug Ford's Leadership
Nauseated by the Auditor's Report today. Don't know how naive it is to not expect this level of corruption in Canada.
So many issues. Where do we begin? & the fact that Premier Ford doubles down on what they did after promising that he wouldn't touch the Greenbelt?
*Most headlines misreport the amount that his developer buddies are set to gain. The 8.3 billion figure is completely off. If you check the report, you'll see it's based on lower assessment values from Jan 1st, 2016. Bonnie Lysyk clearly mentions that such greenbelt lands are actually selling for about 4x that amount, ie. 33 billion dollars ++.
*What even happened to the Greenbelt Council? Reports show members were muzzled and essentially forced to resign. Then when the chair eventually resigned too, nearly 102 year old frail & ailing Hazel McCallion aka "queen of sprawl" was appointed. On January 18th this year, the day Bonnie Lysyk announced her audit, Hazel also released an open letter in support of Ford's move & died a week and a half later. More than half the council remains vacant to date. The Greenbelt Council was essentially shut down.
*Political staff who were in charge of making changes to the greenbelt literally COPIED, PASTED & FORWARDED what the developers' lobbyists sent them to Deputy Ministers to include as legislative packages. THAT's how legislation works in Ontario? -- No surprise why the Ministry of Public & Business Service Delivery is currently working to legislate new home purchase agreements' price increases as well as cancellations (to then hike prices up). More C&P from builders? -- Political staff used personal emails, regularly deleted them and didn't keep proper descriptions of their meetings with developers' lobbyists and other external parties.
*At a BILD dinner last Sept 14th, the Housing Minister Chief of Staff supposedly received 2 packages from 2 developers. 1 of them, Rice Group, closed on a 80M dollar land deal the very next day. The other, TACC (aka Aspen Ridge, Opus, Arista Homes, etc) owns the majority of DRAP (Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve) and received a whopping 58% of the lands Doug Ford removed from the Greenland. Fieldgate Homes received 24% and Rice Group, 9%.
*Ford has hung out with the DeGasperis (TACC) family since at least 2018 when he was seen in their luxury box at the BB&T Centre in Miami. Notably, back in 2006, Silvio DeGasperis told the Toronto Star "McGuinty has already hurt me, I'm going to hurt him." At the time, he pushed to stop Greenbelt plans, tried to develop their Pickering lands anyway and eventually took Ontario to court but lost. Now, the family is set to make the most out of the $33 billion dollar greenbelt gifts from Ford.
*Bonnie Lysyk pointed out that Ford & co did not consider the potential financial gain or how the province could share in the 33 -not 8 - billion dollar gain. Curious to know what angle a conservative MPP or Ford supporter could justify this and not backtracking on it. Deflect and blame past Liberals or whoever till our ears fall off/eyes bleed, sure, but how does anyone support or justify these actions? This isn't bipartisan, it's a partial-to-the DeGasperis' & a handful of other developers issue. These greenbelt changes must be reversed, for the province to share in these substantial profits, if nothing else.
Watched Doug Ford respond live today as he struggled to form the prompted sentences. Apparently didn't know what to say. Later Steve Clark adorably quipped in to cover Qs directed to our, or rather the DeGasperis' premier.

Canadian premiers converge in Winnipeg, kicking off a three-day long agenda - Winnipeg | Globalnews.ca
The nation’s territorial and provincial premiers convened in Winnipeg today, picking through a three-day agenda to address a number of issues. Top of mind at the day’s meeting was health care, which comes on the heels of a $46 billion funding announcement from the federal government to be used to revamp Canada’s public health care system. Announced in February, the funding puts the onus of…

ANTISEMITISM AGAIN
Look up what that piece of clothing is.
Look at this shit.
I am not safe, yet "the genocide in Gaza" (which isn't even a thing) across the sea is okay.
I get severe panic attacks seeing this.
Seeing my government failing us.
Doug Ford has done nothing good for Ontario.
Thanks for supporting antisemites under the guise of "anti-zionsm".
Fuck this.

State of Affairs for the Residents of David Weiss' Life On Queen Apartments
(The following is a follow up to my previous podcast and blog.) How has this social disaster come to be? Can it be undone? My previous podcast regarding the deplorable conditions David Weiss’ “Life On Queen” tenants are living with, shows how tenant rights and accountability from the landlords are almost nonexistent. I can assure you that Westwood Holdings are not the only culprits. Ontario…

"PROGRESSIVE CONSERVATIVES REDUCE CABINET SIZE," Porcupine Advance (Timmins). August 26, 1943. Section 2, page 1. ---- Premier George Drew is shown above surrounded by his nine cabinet ministers at their first cabinet meeting last Wednesday in the Cabinet Council room in the Parliament Buildings, at Queen's Park, Toronto. Standing: from left to right: are Hon. Dr. R. P. Vivian, Port Hope physician, who is Minister of Health and Public Welfare; Hon. Charles Daley, St. Catharines, mayor and retail grocer, Minister of Labour: Hon, Leslie E. Blackwell, Toronto lawyer. Attorney-General; Hon. G. II. Doucett, Carleton Place, insurance executive and farmer, Minister of Highways and Public Works; Hon. G. H. Challies, Morrisburg business executive, Minister without portfolio and vice-chairman of the Ontario Hydro Commission; Hon. G. H. Dunbar, Ottawa Business College head, Provincial Secretary and Minister of Municipal Affairs; Hon. W. G. Thompson, Blenheim soy bean grower, Minister of Lands and Forests, and Minister of Game and Fisheries. Flanking Premier Drew are, at left, Hon. T. L. Kennedy, Dixie farmer, Minister of Agriculture, and, right Hon. Leslie M. Frost, Lindsay lawyer, Provincial Treasurer and Minister of Mines. Following his announced policy of economy in the provincial government Premier George Drew has selected a cabinet of only 10 men including himself, as compared with the 14-man Hepburn administration. Rearranging the cabinet positions to make this reduction possible the Premier himself has taken the portfolio of Education along with his other duties.
The office of Minister of Games and Fisheries, formerly administered by the provincial secretary, goes with Lands and Forests: Municipal Affairs, formerly combined with Welfare, goes to Labour, and the portfolio of Mines, formerly a separate post, is under the Treasury. Public Wel- fare remains under the Health Department.
Mr. Drew also abolishes the post of Liquor Board chairman as a cabinet portfolio. A speaker for the legislature is yet to be appointed.
The Premier has announced his intention to appoint special com- mittees to make surveys of the legislative needs of agriculture, labour, education, and the mining industry.
As Minister of Education, Mr Drew is expected to personally direct his program to reduce municipal school taxation by 50%. Social security and rehabilitation will also receive attention, Mr. Drew declaring this problem's solution is "long overdue."
A committee will study the administration of the mines, Mr. Drew has announced, "with the purpose of making adjustments in keeping with the great changes that have taken place in the mining industry in the past few years.
"The first step is to seek adjustment of the present system of taxation on mines and for this reason the portfolio has been placed temporarily under the treasurer," he continued.
Under present arrangements, the Dominion collects the heaviest taxes from the mines without regard to municipalities which perform the great service to them. Studies will be made in other countries.
"The mining industry in Ontario is in an extremely serious situa tion," the Premier said. "Since the war more than half the mines have closed down. Unless steps are taken we may have many ghost towns in the north."
Mr. Drew forecast a regrouping of departments after study is made on "the broad question of administration and organization." The Premier reiterated his statement there will be no "wholesale dismissals" from the civil service as arose when the Hepburn government took office in 1934, but examination is likely of various offices, and when changes are made they will be made in a different manner than under the Liberal administration.
