James's arc in volume 8 was extremely ableist and harmful and it is vile and disgusting CRWBY thought it was a good idea. Their was just no good reason for them to make James evil in the first place given that Salem herself was now in the playing field. A show that is actually a hope punk would have redeemed him but instead he is killed off as a villain and it is disgusting. 

Ozma being forced to share a body with another soul over and over again and for their souls to merge every time is a horrifying curse that the show does not acknowledge as being horrible like it should. Worse the show treating Ozpin as worse then Emerald and possibly Cinder or Salem just shows how little people care for male victims of domestic violence. 

Bringing Penny back just to kill her all over again was pointless and they shouldn’t have even bothered bringing her back. It’s a slap in the face to anyone who related to Penny and forcing her into a socially acceptable body to be seen as a real girl and enjoy real girl things is also disgusting. 

Bmblebe is a very poorly done ship and the pair don’t really have any chemistry anymore (though they should be confirmed as non-straight SOMEONE in the main cast needs to be). Though they have been coded to be in a relationship and to be queer we do live in a world where queer ships are denied and censored and CRWBY even did this with FairGame so until they verbally confirm their attraction to each other it is not good enough and CRWBY could easily rip it away from fans. 

James VS JNRO + Winter is the worst fight in the damn show because CRWBY admitted they nerfed James because they felt bad for the B team and wanted them to have a win. This also means they admit James is the best fighter in the show because they agree James should have won in a 1v5 fight without his weapon.

Okay but, AU where everything is the same, but instead of giving his top secret military project a super advanced weapon only she could use, Ironwood just gave Penny a normal handgun and called it a day.

(Weirdly enough, this ends up working out in Penny's favor come "PvP", as the lack of wires makes it surprisingly hard for Pyrrha to accidentally kill her.)

Weiss Schnee slid her lean arms around the General's broad shoulders, rests her lips next to the General's ear, and said.

"Nervous?"

General Ironwood leans back and melts into Weiss's embrace, his beard brushed against the sleeve of Weiss's dress and he savored the scent and sensation of Weiss's presence through the silk. Ironwood then looked up into Weiss's eyes and said.

"Nervous? Yes. Yes, I am."

Weiss chuckled as she traced the line of Ironwood's beard which wrapped around a jaw chiseled from granite.

"First time?"

Ironwood shrugged and said.

"No, I've been nervous many times."

Oh ironwood. Not fucked over. Bro brought military ships to The Olympics in an Ally nation to Show Power as his First On Screen Act. His every suggestion from day one was always a show of force. He's the leader of a nation where the rich (himself included) Literally hover above the poor in a protected bubble, away from the hordes of monsters, while funneling all of the resources the poor mine on the surface up to themselves.

Yeah the dude had good intentions at first. But he was always, Always the "might makes right and I got the biggest gun" guy.

After Big Bad Thing happens he cuts off all supply lines to protect his people... by isolating them. When the good guys show up for help he does help them... while letting the poor people suffer in the arctic weather below. He has a good plan for helping the world... which he prioritizes to the detriment and potential death of the people he's supposed to be using this plan to protect. He's a good guy who's skewed ideology and excessive power and paranoia twists into a dictator who shoots civilians and is willing to abandon or Bomb thousands of innocents to get what he wants cause of course HE knows whats best for the world so everyone should listen to him. Only he can make the hard decisions. His first appearance showed the direction he would go. Some just didn't see it and got upset it followed its tragectory. He wasn't massacred. He massacred others.

Nitpick November Day 13

Sorry I missed a few days. Life has been uh life. 

I absolutely adore James in white and I think he looks fantastic in it, but for a show all about colors....why is it implied his color is blue given his aura but he wears so little? It’s more of an accent color then a main color for him. I adore how @dowhatteverer​ got rid of the red accents in their AU and changed it all to blue. It’s very appropriate for a character whose color is supposed to be blue and he looks so damn good. 

I will admit, he looks damn good in white, but currently he has more white then the character who is supposed to represent white. Someone who only saw their volume 8 models would think James is supposed to represent white and Weiss blue and not the other way around. 

Their coats (for lack of better word for Weiss) generally are the first things people notice on the character as they are the most eye catching, for Weiss with how deep of a blue it is and James with just how much of the design it takes over. Looking at the models their is a significant amount of blue but it is in the lower half of the outfit and a vast majority of the shots for James we only see the upper half of his design which has a lot of white compared to Weiss who has a lot of blue in the upper part of her design. 

Like I said, I like James in white, but this is a show where color used to be a big deal so it seems weird even in his first appearance he had so much white on him.

"How dare Ruby hijack Ironwood's broadcast to tell people not to trust him?"

That was not Ironwood's broadcast. If he had his way, Amity would not have been launched AT ALL.

He had gone out of his way to PREVENT the broadcast from happening!

Literally the ONLY reason Ruby told the entire world that Ironwood could no longer be trusted is because he had abandoned his post to save himself, took his army with him, and had already attempted to silence anyone who took the slightest actions in Mantle's defense.

Plus, he had instigated a military coup against Atlas' actual government.

In short, anyone coming to help protect Atlas from Salem NEEDED to know that there was a good chance that the Atlesian Military would be mobilized against them!
