why do you think the clock on the first merch is not quite at 2:00?

this is about how for the the three Australia shows, they have each had special one night only merch and the clock on the main design has been set at 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 (369!!) but the 3:00 one is actually at 2:58 (I'm assuming this is a typo and anon meant not quite at 3)

I mean... possibly no good reason but on vibes only it makes me think "369 coming soon" or like, almost there, almost time for 369... does that make any sense??? I mean I absolutely would not be surprised if LT3 was just called 369 and it would be like Louis to tease that... (although to be clear I don't think we're getting LT3 before November, this would be "soon" in the cosmic and Louis sense)

here's how it goes:

everyone spends valentine's day in DEEP denial. tubbo isn't dead, he CAN'T be. when they die they come back, that's how it is, how it's ALWAYS been. the island is hell but at least fatalities don't stick, except in specific cases and all of them in the same white shells. of course philza jokes, he's thinking about tubbo, he can't stop. he's expecting tubbo to jump out at any moment, he's expecting to go to fobo and see tubbo hidden in the basement throwing darts at a picture of fit and pac looking at each other, he's expecting to go back to the dungeon and the body is gone (he hopes). tubbo's not dead. he can't die. none of them can, just the eggs.

(it never takes this long to come back; he knows something is wrong)

here's how it goes:

tubbo tells the kids "i'm on my last life." the eggs have always had lives. i don't think some of them have ever understood that the players have infinite chances, with their insistence on protecting their caretakers from deaths like their caretakers do for them, charging back into the eye worker war, refusing to back out of a dangerous dungeon before their parents do, wanting to protect. i don't know if they understand that to the players, death is like spit in the face: unpleasant, sure, but no big deal.

tubbo tells the kids "i'm on my last life" and of course they believe him. death is their constant companion, no more than two doors down. some eggs are used to it being a breath away.

here's how it goes:

tubbo is dead. the children mourn him. the players are scared. defiant. they always are. who among them has died? dan, missing; spreen, gone; maximus... well there was no body, no announcement, surely-

(how long did it take pierre to accept it? to realize it? to take down the missing person posters? not a day. not a day.)

juanaflippa died and there was a court case to save her. bobby died and the whole server journeyed to save him. when is the last time the players have taken death lying down?

here's how it goes:

tubbo dies, and he dies unloved (fit's arm is stretched out to save him). he dies without purpose (sunny is there, she's waiting, she knows he won't move). he dies and no one cares (chayanne refuses to leave, his godfather, he failed his-)

here's how it goes:

the valentine's party is so loud but too quiet. there's a name in the air, even when no one is saying it

"wow sure is good tubbo isn't here" phil says (he's said this before, he'll say it again, but isn't it strange how many times? perhaps even he doesn't believe it. perhaps he's trying to convince himself.)

here's how it goes:

a creature with too many faces comes. it tells them the truth they won't face. tubbo is gone.

Once again, I didn't mean to go on such an extended delay with updating this fic! But I'm very happy to be back to writing as normal, and I hope that you will enjoy the update!

This weekend, I will be posting the final chapter to The Fog Around Us, and after that I will be focusing on the next chapter of Everything Was White (as well as continuing to pump out TPM chapters!).

#the next two months i am REALLY focusing on catching up #i have too many loose ends that i need to close #im using the IB sign ups as a motivator #as in i need to totally catch up before im allowing myself to sign up for another goddamn DP event lol #so the goal is to have all chapters of TPM out before the end of Feb #just looking at my outline i dont believe there are that many chapters left #so im thinking this is an attainable goal #but yeah expect to see a lot of fanfic from me in the coming weeks

#ashamed and alarmed to discover that much like teachers #people who work closely with folks who spend a lot of time on the streets #and in shelters #or in buildings that offer services to the disadvantaged #will catch every fucking thing that goes around #just like their clients do #which sucks more for them #by like a whole fucking lot #but also sucks for my boyfriend who needs to do his job which is to help them and would rather not have to do that while sick #but we don't have a choice and they don't have a choice and this work MUST be done #so he has to try to do it anyway and hope he can hold up #desr god he is tough #for a soft guy #it also sucks for me because i catch almost all of it too #we have each been sick three times this year #and i know people do deal with and are dealing with way worse so i feel bad being mad about it #not mad at the people or my boyfriend but mad at the whole situation #this is infuriating and between us this year we could have fulfilled the snot needs of the entire nation if there were a shortage #i hope i don't catch whatever this is #and i hope our immune systems are not so ravaged by the covid we had a year ago that we cannot build a more robust immunity to rhinoviruses #ughhh stupid flesh hovels

damn i had some really good tags on a reblog but tumblr ate it. anyways the gist of it was what if anime episode where the evil old man coworker trio (blaise, manfred and damon) were at manfred's place Discussing Work (drinking copious amounts of "grape juice" and laughing maniacally about their victories for which they Definitely Didn't Cheat) and franziska and miles are supposed to be playing quietly in the corner while the adults are talking but then baby franziska wanders off and the A plot becomes a very exasperated 10yo miles chasing a surprisingly fast and very brave 3yo franziska around the von karma estate, occasionally picking her up and carrying her away from danger until she inevitably escapes again. the B plot is just it occasionally cutting back to the old men and we catch one of them saying something insane but it's halfway through the sentence and we get no context. and then it cuts back to the siblings. one time when it cuts back to the old men, manfred is like "wait where's franziska" and he looks out the window and miles is in the garden holding her. he is very obviously disheveled and covered in scrapes and bruises and there are sticks and leaves lodged in his hair. franziska on the other hand is completely unscathed and in pristine condition. manfred shrugs and is like "eh, she's fine. anyway-"

#the kids are unsupervisedddddddd #franziska's papa is a Busy Man and i think there is comedic potential in that. i think she would get up to some real Antics #edit: also i just remembered miles is canonically Not Very Fit like. in investigations it's mentioned a few times #that he has never done a day of manual labour in his life and he should probably start doing some kind of physical activity #which makes the idea of him chasing franziska around the von karma estate even funnier #this wimpy little kid huffing and puffing. begging her to slow down. constantly outran by a 3-year-old #only able to catch up bc she waits for him when she can't see him bc she loves her brother #she is blissfully unaware of the dangers of the outside world and thinks they're just playing a game #once they get home miles just collapses onto the couch and does the deepest sigh #and baby franzi is like no more play? :( and baby miles is like. this close 👌 to losing it but he's too tired to say anything #so he just lets himself pass out on the couch while the maid deals with franziska #when miles wakes up franziska is there huddled up to him. curled up asleep like a little cat #he can't stay mad at that #text post #sibling brainrot #silly #miles edgeworth #franziska von karma #manfred von karma #blaise debeste #damon gant

Sebek/Deuce is the ship ever because like they are just peak Teenage Boys yknow like how sometimes Deuce does things that amaze Sebek and vice versa but at the same time they openly tease and pick on each other its just such a bro to bro relationship. Ohhh heheheeeeeHEHEEHHEEEEE giggles and rubs my hands together evilly. so we’ve had cult leader!geto and you who’s mad at him… and we’ve also had you who’s slowly accepting loving him…. But what about cult leader!geto and reader that’s just. Moved on. Accepted it when he left because of the understanding that it’s just the way life goes. Doesn’t mean to say that you didn’t miss him, that you still don’t, it just means that you understand that there’s no point being angry about things you can’t change, so you let it go. Obviously, it’s sugu. There’s no replacing him. But you don’t try to replace him, you just carry on with life. You find other people who are special to you and you don’t try to fill the hole he left in your heart, you accept it, heal it, and work around it. He sees you again years later and he excepts you to be angry at him — wishes that you’d be angry at him — but you’re not, you just smile at him. There’s no anger in your eyes, no bared teeth or quips of bitterness, just a soft kind of understanding that you can forgive him and carry on with your life without allowing him back in. IM ACTUALLY GOING INSANE PLEASE…. It’s not quite you forgiving him and loving him, moreso just understanding and accepting that he was someone very special, but just not accepting him into your life again. He can’t exactly tame you because you’re not angry. There’s no storm to wait out, there’s no rage for him to soothe. i think geto would be happy for you. i think that despite his own feelings, he’d ultimately make the painful choice to respect your wishes and stay out of your life. it hurts him but there’s also this sense of inevitability — this is the natural consequence of his actions. he was a fool for expecting anything else, hoping for anything else. but a part of him always wished that you could be together again; and i think that wish hurts him more than anything.

geto really is just a lonely guy at the end of the day, and the thing about his ideal world is that it doesn’t even just boil down to a world without non-sorcerers — to geto, it boils down to a world where i don’t have to see my loved ones suffer. that’s what he wants more than anything!! and i think that even though he knows it’s unrealistic, even impossible, a part of him was always hoping that you’d wait for him to create that world for you. that you could one day go back to the way things were.

so meeting you again, and being forced to accept that it just won’t happen… that he’s just a person of your past and nothing else…. yeahhhh. it breaks him a little. then again, he always wished for your forgiveness; at least he has that. at least he knows you don’t hate him. there’s a kind of comfort in that, even though he probably would’ve preferred feelings of hatred to no feelings at all. :(

no but this is genuinely heartbreaking from geto’s pov and it’s even worse because you’re just doing what’s best for you!!! there’s no anger, no hard feelings, and it irks him because there’s nothing he can do!! you’re so right stsg anon!!! there’s no storm to wait out, there’s no rage for him to soothe….. there’s nothing he can do to change your mind. it just is what it is.

i also think this forces him into unveiling himself. this is just my own take but my interpretation of cult leader!geto is that he’s pretending to be something he’s not like . 80% of the time…. i think he copes by creating all these new personas, silly and overbearing and cruel, when deep down he’s still just sad and a little bit lost. a little lonely. it’s very telling that he felt the need to create a new family, because that’s just the kind of guy he is — he needs to have people around him to protect and cherish. very similar to gojo (stsg soulmatism strikes again)…. when he meets gojo in jjk 0 he feigns nonchalance, but later, when he’s watching the sunset and thinking about their history, he just looks sad. resigned. there’s a softness he’s trying to hide, but it never quite leaves him.

and i think that with you being so open, so sincere, he really wouldn’t have any choice but to meet that with a sincerity of his own. i can see him giving you one last sad smile, and honestly telling you that he’s happy for you. that he wishes you nothing but the best. and he truly means it. he wants you to be happy more than anything; it’s fine if he can’t be there to see it.

it’s a shame, but he’ll learn to live with it — for you.
