reasons why you should watch Ducktales (2017):
from a totally not mentally ill (/j) girl who has never ever obsessed over this show and has never ever seen it ten times over and has never ever had a bias towards this show :))) ily
the animation is lowkey a slay. I live for the faux comic book style. it scratches an itch in my brain.
I love Louie. I love Louie so much. he is precious, a cinnamon roll, and if anything were to happen to him, I would unalive everyone in this room and then myself.
the “found family” trope has been and always will be the best trope (imo). and this show has sooooo much of it and I literally cry over it (yes, I do cry over everything. back off)
launchpad mcquack.
precious precious man.
the storyline is kind of……… wonderful???? like there’s a lot of mirroring of the past, wholesome moments, and just… fun??? (Disney please bring it back or do a spin off I beg you 🙏)
this is one of those Disney shows that’s weirdly… funny? watch s3:e2 “Quack Pack” if you don’t believe bc that episode is a bona fide RIOT
also, the “filler” episodes don’t necessarily feel like filler episodes. most have some relevance to the ongoing plot, and if they don’t the adventure is too fun for you to care anyways
for instance? my fav episode “Quack Pack” (as listed above) is a filler episode. but it is semi-plot-relevant, and comedic perfection. it also gave us this screenshot:
need I say more?
yes. I won’t shut up about this show.
honestly, in a world full of tv shows that don’t give a crap about their integrity, Ducktales is a masterpiece. and I’m not just saying this because I wish more people would join the fandom. that’s a perk
once again I leave you with this:
me n the boys jamming out to the Ducktales theme song:

Kay: You’re too skinny! Didn’t they feed you where you’re from?
Gareth: Um…
Kay: Nevermind, I’ve got to do everything around here. Eat this, and don’t leave a scrap. You’re skin and bones. I’ll put some weight on you by the end of this year, just you watch.
Lancelot and Gawain: Are you sure you don’t want to eat with us.
Gareth: I’m afraid what will happen if I do.
Kay: LESS TALKING MORE EATING, PRETTY HANDS!

so I’m on my second playthrough of BG3 rn and I decided to use the astral touched tadpole this time around and convince some of my party to as well… and MAN wyll, lae’zel, my tiefling and shadowheart are looking BAD. I don’t have it in me to get astarion (my romance again lmao) to use it because of the way he tells you to fuck off and explains the importance of having bodily autonomy after years of trauma, but everyone else I can convince to use it I will. However I am so not over how UGLY we all look like I put so much effort into making my tiefling adorable and hot and now I just have all these black veins protruding everywhere…. And SHADOWHEART 😭 she was flawless and now I’ve ruined her. Lord help me, I’ll never do this again. I just wanna be able to fly without relying on spells:/

Hey!! ^w^ Thanks for the image, and also double thanks for your interest in St. Agatha!! is it something you've played, or something you want to?
I am so normal about St Agatha I promise
So I’m way too autistic to just list everything ever so I’ll try to answer what’s directly in the ask then add a couple other things.
-I’ve been playing since around June
-I have been trying to see all the different routes and locations so far
-my favorites have been Norman, Denver, and Ian
-I hate Denver as a person but I really want to see how the routes go further with him, I think he’s really interesting as both a character and in the overall story
-as someone from Missouri who grew up in a small town then moved to St Louis, the storyline about the toxic waste/dirty water/dead horses was very close to what happened irl, even down to the cover ups. Tbh it was a bit of a jumpscare since that’s the first time I’ve seen any of that discussed outside of a few irl conversations
-I really like the art. At first I thought it was kinda lame but it conveys a certain feeling and the way you draw outside of the game just radiates a certain emotion. I can’t really explain but I think the purposeful simplicity really elevated the way it expresses itself, if that makes sense?
-the game so far reminds me of late 00s’ early 2010s’ alt music, like metric or the killers which is so specific and idk why that’s what comes up but it’s perfect and fitting
-I do think some of the characters end up looking really similar due to the art though
-admittedly I’m someone who likes slice of life games with looser storylines, and I like character interaction more than anything else in a sim game, so I’m definitely looking forward to any future updates
Anyway, that’s about all I can say before completely devolving into a full infodump lol
