The Finale: Sondheim! The Birthday Concert

At long last, someone has uploaded the full Stephen Sondheim 80th Birthday Concert in 1080p so that we can worship properly. You too can watch it at the link above.

Sondheim celebrated his 80th birthday at Lincoln Center with a truly jaw-dropping cast of Broadway legends on March 15 and 16 in 2010. Though he would go on to celebrate many more birthdays, no other event would ever be more sublime than this.

Directed by Lonny Price, conducted by Paul Gemingnani, and hosted by David Hyde Pierce, the event featured Karen Olivo, Alexander Gemignani, Jason Danieley, Victoria Clark, Nathan Gunn, John McMartin, Chip Zien, Joanna Gleason, Jim Walton, Mandy Patinkin, George Hearn, Michael Cerveris, Laura Benanti, all accompanied by the New York Philharmonic.

And as a grand finale, the Ladies in Red: Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Bernadette Peters, Elaine Stritch, Donna Murphy, and Marin Mazzie, all Sondheim leading ladies who gave one iconic performance after another.

He was glad that his son was out of town, but he also wanted to make sure Penny and Mikayla were safe, not hurt. From a distance. These days, it was harder to be the man in the shadows, not since they both lived in the same city.

"Jo!" He shouted, spotting her through the crowd. She was okay, at least that. Walking up to her, Elliott pulled her into a hug, careful not to press in the gas that could be remaining on their clothes. His eyes already hurt like a bitch, no matter how much he washed them with water. "You doing okay?"

Even Worse Girlfriends

Clark decided he was ok with Mack being a romantic interest to Christina, which is a good thing I guess, a) because I didn’t even know they were dating in the first place and b) because it’s Leisure Day so of course they’re throwing a house party!

Phew! The sink got fixed and puddle mopped up just in time!

Wait! Who’s the random in the blue shirt!? I guess we should expect crashers at one of Reggie’s parties! Oh no! Why is Alyson yawing!? The party just started!

That’s more like it! And just look at how surprisingly ripped Reggie is! That’s what happens when you use a randomizer to select body shape and fitness level..LOL! At least Joanna seems to be interested in what he’s saying because...

Brianna is giving flowers to Kyle Baldwin right in front of everyone!

Mack has had enough and is off to bed.

Clark wanted to talk to Alicia, but she’s busy dancing with Kyle. Oh, what’s this? He seems to really be hitting it off with Jess! Is there a new romance in the air?

Reggie invited Brianna to stay the night. All the other guests started to head out and it looks like Clark is on speaking terms with Christina again.

And this right here folks is the face of a Sim that just couldn’t give a “****” LOL!

I thought it was bad when Andrae didn’t help Precious out from under the bed. Brianna WATCHED it fall on Reggie and literally just climbed in and went to sleep!!! OMG! What is wrong with these Sims!!??
