Nine Percent scenarios my brain thought of when I first saw their pics
Tumblr media
ALRIGHT FIRST OF ALL!! SILVER KUNKUN!! I’M DEAD!! NEXT OF ALL, I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT OF SCENARIOS WHEN LOOKING AT THIS PIC, MKAY!
SCENARIO 1: Kun saw you attending an event that he was also attending (let’s say mafia/gang meeting, which you have no idea of) and he asked for one of the staffs to guide you to another place so he could meet you and ensures your safety
“Please ensure her to the other room, I’ll be there shortly”
SCENARIO 2: So, second scenario, I can imagine Kun seeing a guy eyeing you from afar (let’s say it’s still the same meeting he was attending) and other men were either trying to come up to you/flirt with you (which, Kun does not approve whatsoever) and he requested permission from the staff so he can go to your side.
“I want them, in a room. Alive.”
Tumblr media
ALRIGHT BOI!! THIS SMILEY SUNSHINE JUST FLIPPED 180 AND BECAME LIKE A CEO (NAHHH, ALSO THIS IS SCENARIO DOESN’T REALLY HV YOU BUT IT INVOLVES YOU, JUST HEAR ME OUT!!)
So, I imagine that Nongnong and you were very close, working under the same company and all. Then, our precious nongnong (because of his hardwork and sunshine smile) was promoted into the CEO of the company and he appointed you to be his assistant. THEN!!! Y’all had to attend this meeting with a business partner which was fine and all until the freaking representative of the business (a guy) was eye-f*cking you, would even discuss the business more with you instead of Nong (because let’s be real here, who would’ve thought this soft boi is the CEO). Time skip to after the meeting, Nongnong requested to meet this representative, alone!!
Then, Nong was like “How about we talk real business here. Like how you were eye-fucking (OMO CURSE NONG) my assistant-girlfriend”
Tumblr media
ALRIGHT, “BEATEN UP” CHENG IS LIKE HAWT?! LIKE HOW?! ALSO, THIS SCENARIO MAY BE A QUICK ONE BUT LIKE, THIS IS WHAT MY BRAIN THOUGHT OF SO YEA...
This pic, I imagine, something happened to you and Cheng was not going to let it slide that easily. After taking care of you and making sure you were safe and rested, he went out and hunted searched for the very people who hurted you. Not letting any of them to catch their breath, putting them down (not permanently, but feel free to imagine this), making sure they know who they were dealing with when they went out to hurt you, even if it means that he’s risking his own life.
“They should’ve gone for the head when they had the chance. Oh well, their loss. What’s done is done”
Tumblr media
Alright, this may be slightly similar to Chengcheng’s scenario but not really. Let’s get to it!!
So, when I first saw this, I immediately thought of both you and Justin were held captive by another gang (9% is a gang of their own and Justin was just so happen to be with only you, not the others, and was busy protecting you, being outnumbered by a lot, hence why you both ended up being held captive). Both of you were in the same room and though it was just Justin getting beaten up for information at first (which he does not leak whatsoever), it wasn’t long before the gang decided to beat you up for information as well, or even to break Justin, making him leak something. INSTEAD!! What they got was a very pissed off Justin who eventually broke free (specifically, when his geges have arrived to save them and it distracted everyone).
Justin then had a one vs one fight with the one that beated you up and the building was starting to collapse. The opposite gang thought that maybe Justin was done for. BUT NOPE, CUE THE PICTURE!! HE SURVIVED
“I’m going to give you a light head-start. By the time I count to five, you better hope that you’ll be able to find an exit because, you’re nex7 (LMFAO CAN’T HELP IT)”
Tumblr media
SOMEONE HELP!! I’M DED (AGAIN). QUICK TALK, THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST PHOTO SHOOTS HE HAS DONE!! LIKE THE HAIRSTYLE, OUTFIT, ACCESSORIES (THAT STICK) IS JUST *CHEFS KISS*. ALRIGHT, ONTO THE SCENARIO BEFORE MY BRAIN FORGETS
So, I imagine that (again, 9% was a gang/mafia of their own, that is for a good cause!!) Yanjun was supposed to meet up with a “business partner” which he was not excited to begin with. But when he heard the news that you were hit on by the “business partner”, something in him was just burning up that he decided to invite them to his (more like 9%)’s bar and have a nice talk fight.
“I heard that you like playing with people’s feelings and emotions. Well, I like to play too. I like to play with pool, drinks, *shifts to dark gaze* the items in this bar that will soon fly around and not to mention blood”
Tumblr media
Alright, first things first, let us ignore the yellow fluffy jacket he has and imagine he was wearing a suit XD But alright, just like Kun, I have 2 different scenarios for Mama Ting!!
Scenario 1: He was fighting with a bad guy/person that “accidentally” hurt you and the guy ended up being limp, trying to escape Zhengting. Buth oh ho no boi, you mess with the wrong person. Thanks to his long flexible legs, he managed to get through every obstacle and following the limp guy in the escape stairs.
“You should really save your energy to say your last words instead of escaping from me. Because, let’s be real, you can’t escape. I (actually the whole 9%) own this building”
Scenario 2 (a bit darker/yandere-ish): you had just found out that your boyfriend, Zhengting was basically “obsessed” with you. He doesn’t mind if you were with your friends that are girls. No, he’s actually happy that you have a good social life and maintain it. However, when it comes to guys, that was definitely not the case.
Sure, it seemed that he was the typical “jealous” boyfriend and he tried his best to not let it get the best of him. But when he found out that you and one of your best friends (that is a guy) went out together with your other friends and play an escape room together, to say Zhengting was jealous was an understatement.
He felt slightly betrayed that you didn’t at least let him know that you were going to play an escape room with your friends and one of them just so happened to be your guy best friend. Ho-hoh, beware my friend because you were in for a treat.
What seemed to be a fake horror/thriller escape room quickly shifted to a real one the minute you and your friends heard screaming, realising that the scream came from your guys friend, all of you decided to run for your life. Shouting for help. When you saw Zhengting in the escape room, you were first relieved that your boyfriend came to save you. But when you found out he was the one that killed your guy best friend, you knew you had to escape. Unfortunately, escaping Zhengting after what you had done was nearly impossible.
“Sweetheart, where are you going? You know you can’t outrun me. I think it’s best for you to just give up. I wouldn’t want to harm you”
SORRY FOR THIS SUDDEN TURN OF EVENTS!!
Tumblr media
First and foremost, can someone cast Ziyi (along with his bros) in like an action movie or something like dayum!!!
Alright, this is going to be a short and sweet one. You were basically held hostage and Ziyi finally came (with his bros, don’t worry) to save you. He looked at the situation and quickly diverse a plan so you wouldn’t get hurt anymore.
“Alright, Xiaogui, Cheng, create a diversion. Once they’re distracted, Jun, Justin, take them out but not kill them, we need information to what it is they want from (Y/N). Then I’ll try my best to release (Y/N). Afterwards, Nong and Zhangjing, quickly take her to safety”
Tumblr media
Can I just say, dayum Xiaogui!! Boi skipped motorcycle, car, truck and straight for the plane (JK)
Alright, for Xiaogui’s scenario, I feel that him and the others managed to rescue you and some other hostages/victims from the enemy. However, the enemy manages to “escape”. Well, not really, since Xiaogui and Zhengting already devised a plan just in case if the enemy does manage to escape. Which is basically hijacking their system and transport. In this case, their plane 😎😎
“Hi, yes, captain Linkai a.k.a Xiaogui speaking. Do fasten your seatbelt as we prepare to head to prison shortly *cue him putting on those shades*”
Tumblr media
OMO!! YOU ZHANGJING IN A BAR?! LIKE!! GUYS!!! HE’S NOT JUST OUT FOR THE FOOD BUT THE DRINKS AS WELL!! OKAY OKAY, SCENARIO!!
The scenario I thought of when looking at this pic of Zhangjing is that he was spying on you and your friends (who were out partying) when the opposing enemy of 9% were at the same bar. At first, Zhangjing would be subtle with the situation. Not really showing himself and all. But when he saw you sitting at the bar and an enemy of the boys decided to hit on you (out of all the girls/guys in the bar), he just bluntly went behind the counter (because let’s be real, I’m sure the boys have enough money to buy a bar, LOL).
“Hi, welcome to our bar. How would you like your drink? Hot? Cold? Or punch? Like what I’m about to do to you if you do not get your hands off of her”
Tumblr media
SORRY SORRY, I JUST HAD TO INSERT THIS GIF XD

Tumblr media
beautiful group of people, i will love them forever
Someone decided to put mistletoe all over the school as a sick sort of joke, and you’ve just been shoved under a clump of the stuff by your conniving “friends.” Who are you supposed to kiss, you might ask? Well, your friends are eyeing a certain someone walking down the hall…
- - -
“So anyway, he -” You stop short, glowering at your friends as they immediately look away from each other, looking suspiciously innocent. “Alright, that’s it, what’s wrong with you all?” you snap. “You’ve been like this for the past two days!”
“Like what?” Dinghao asks a little too innocently.
“Yeah, I wasn’t aware that we were acting differently at all,” Huafei chimes in.
You huff, trying to formulate your jumbled thoughts into words. “You don’t pay attention to me when I talk, you’re always whispering with Linkai and his little gang, you keep giving me those strange looks - how can you say you’re not acting differently?!”
There’s a beat of silence.
Then someone grabs your arms and holds them hostage behind your back.
“What the fuck?” you snap, violently twisting. “Let me go, dumbass!”
“Uh-uh-uh,” Dinghao sings, looking very, very gleeful. Next to him, Huafei and Ruotian stifle giggles, while you struggle even harder. “What the hell is going on!” you yell, attracting quite a lot of attention.
Jingzuo looks upwards, smirking, and you follow his gaze, eyes widening in horror as you take in the small plant that hangs from the ceiling.
“Oh hell no,” you mutter, shaking your head wildly. “No, no, no, no, no! Gao Maotong, get your stupid hands off of me, or so help me I’ll -”
Then someone slams into you and Maotong releases your arms, allowing you to collapse in a heap on the floor. Disgruntled and feeling extremely murderous, you grit your teeth and look up, ready to chew your friends out.
Instead, you see an outstretched hand. Your eyes travel upwards, taking in dark clothes, a leather jacket, and then…
Oh my god.
You meet eyes with your crush of two years, Wang Ziyi.
It takes a couple of seconds to force yourself to calm down, and though you want nothing more than to run away screaming, you accept his hand, allowing him to help pull you up. You try really hard to look at his face, but it’s so hard - the whole situation is just so absurd. You drop his hand as soon as you can.
“Sorry,” he says in that low voice of his, giving you that soft smile that never fails to turn you into an absolute train wreck. “My friends pushed me.” He shrugs apologetically.
“I - uh, it’s fine,” you say quickly, willing the growing heat to leave your face. “I’ve gotta go, but -”
“You have nowhere to go!” Huafei snaps. “Don’t lie to Ziyi!”
If your face wasn’t red before, now it is. You shoot her a furious glare.
What in the world are you doing?! you scream internally, hoping she gets the message.
“Y/N?” Ziyi’s voice snaps your attention back to him. “I… I think I know why they put us here.”
You squeeze your eyes shut, cursing each and every single one of your so-called friends. “Yeah,” you reply, your voice tight. “Sorry. My friends are stupid. I - it’s cool if you, uh, if you don’t want to, I totally get it, I wouldn’t want to kiss me either, sorry about everything, this is all a mess, I swear I had no part in planning this -”
“Hey, hey, hold up,” Ziyi says, taking your hand again. You flinch at the suddenness of his gesture but otherwise manage to remain neutral.
His next words, however, have you shell-shocked.
“Who said I didn’t want to kiss you?”
Total silence.
“Sorry?”
His stupid, gentle smile is on his lips again and you can’t think at all. “I asked who said I didn’t want to kiss you.”
“I - I thought - I thought we were just friends?” you squeak. “I, uh, since when…” You let out a little huff. “What the hell?”
Ziyi’s little laugh is even more addicting than his smile. He leans in a little closer, and you can feel his breath puffing slightly on your face.
“You wouldn’t mind, would you, if I kissed you now?” he asks, ignoring the gasps and hoots of the crowd watching.
“For tradition or because you like me?” you manage to spit out.
A shy blush flits across Ziyi’s cheeks and you almost melt. “Because I like you.”
The smile that overtakes your lips is shaky but genuine and you feel like you’re on cloud nine. “Then, no, I wouldn’t mind,” you reply.
His lips press against yours, and your mind goes blank. You can register only the feeling of his lips on yours, his fingers clutching your hands, his hair tickling your cheek. You cannot hear the cheers of your friends, the squeals of the crowd, the claps of the audience. It’s like Ziyi is your entire world.
When he pulls away, cheeks flushed red, you seize on your temporary insanity and wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him close again.
“Remind me to kill my friends later,” you murmur, and you just hear the beginnings of his gentle laugh before you press another kiss to his lips.
. . . . .
Why did your best friend decide to put mistletoe all over the school as a joke? You don’t know. Why did you go along with it? You don’t know. All you know is that you didn’t expect to accidentally stumble under a bunch of it with said best friend. It isn’t just the cold that’s turning your cheeks red, now.
- - -
“How did this happen?” you ask, not looking at your best friend for fear of him seeing your blush. “Why are we so fucking dumb?”
Linkai snorts. “I don’t know about you, but I’m not dumb.”
“Oh yeah? Then who was the one that first walked under the mistletoe?” you snap.
“And who was the one that didn’t realize and walked under after me?” he retorts.
You cross your arms. “Fine,” you groan. “So are you going to kiss me? Or are we just going to walk away and pretend this didn’t happen?”
On one hand, you want him to agree to the second so your feelings for him stay hidden forever. On the other hand, you want him to agree to the first so you can fulfill one of your dreams.
“Tradition is tradition,” Linkai mutters, refusing to look at your face. You can see the pink tinting his cheeks though and for the first time, you think your feelings might be returned.
“Since when have you been a traditional kid?” you push, forcing him to look up. “Never. So how come you’re relying on tradition now?”
The tiny smirk he throws you gives you a heart attack. “Because… maybe I like you?”
You blink once. Then twice.
“Only ‘maybe?’”
A real blush spreads across Linkai’s face and you can see how much effort it’s taking for him to look into your eyes. Understandable, because you want nothing more than to duck and run away into the crowd that’s forming as well.
“Fine. I definitely like you,” he mumbles, ruffling his hair.
You smile a little. “Good, because I like you too.”
Amidst cheers and hoots, you press a short kiss to his lips, leaving the usually confident boy speechless. Then, suddenly, he regains his confidence and pull you to him for a deeper kiss.
Most of the time, Linkai’s mischief gets him into trouble. At least this time, something good came of it.
You smile into his lips.
. . . . .
Holiday season means holiday shopping, no? You hate shopping, but when you come face to face with that cute sales guy you’ve had a crush on for a long time… well, maybe your sentiments will change now that you’ve seen him decked out in holiday gear, looking stupidly, absolutely adorable.
- - -
The bus is full of people, and you curse your stupid, procrastinating self for leaving Christmas shopping for the last minute.
Christmas shopping is a bore.
With a tired sigh, you squeeze onto a seat. You can practically smell the sweat and heat radiating off of the people and you crinkle your nose up with another sigh.
Then, your brain decides it’s the best time to cut in with a stupid thought.
Hey, shopping isn’t that bad. You might get to see that cute sales guy!
You really hope no one sees the blush crawling up your cheeks. If anything, hopefully they’ll think it’s the residual cold.
Cai Xukun is literally the cutest guy you have ever met. He is drop dead gorgeous but down to earth and mellow at the same time. His smile is blinding, his eyes are sweet, his laugh is beautiful… there is literally nothing not to love about the boy.
“And here I am, thinking like a lovestruck thirteen year old,” you mutter, making room for another person as they squeeze by. The bus rattles and belches a cloud of smoke, then rattles away.
You sigh.
It’s going to be a long day even if I do get to see Xukun.
- - -
Ten stores later, you’ve found almost all of your gifts. Your wallet is about to start sobbing, your feet are about to start screaming, and you are about to sag into a tired puddle on the floor.
“One more to go,” you mumble, looking with trepidation at the fancy storefront.
Nine Percent. Your best friend’s favorite clothing store. They have some of the most outrageous items but at least the prices are fair.
Also the place where - guess who - Cai Xukun works.
You drag your sorry self into the store.
“Hello, welcome! Can I help you today?” a cheery-faced boy with a bright smile asks chirpily the second you walk inside.
It’s not Xukun. You hope the disappointment doesn’t show on your face as you give him a slight smile. “No thanks,” you reply. “Just looking.”
“Christmas shopping?” he asks, looking sympathetic. You allow a sardonic smile to show itself before nodding. “Yeah.”
“Shit, sorry,” he laughs. “But let me know if you need any help!”
“I will, thanks.”
The store is huge, but it doesn’t take much effort to find the section your friend loves since you’ve been here so many times. You drop your bags, rubbing your aching hands, before perusing the racks. Minutes later, you’ve found something, and after checking the size you back to the front of the store to pay.
Then your brain short circuits, because your stupid crush is manning the counter. He’s got a stupid little Santa hat on with a stupid green woolen sweater, and he looks like… boyfriend material. There is no other way to put it.
Suddenly, you care a little too much about the knots in your hair, the bags under your eyes that you haven’t bothered to cover up, your oversized hoodie that now seems too casual for this. You want to at least pat down your hair, but then you’d probably knock your bags everywhere, and you don’t want to look stupider than you already do. So you steel yourself and walk up to the counter.
“Hi!” Xukun says with his bright smile. Your heart thumps. “Ready to pay?”
You nod. “Yeah,” you say quickly, pushing the clothing over.
There’s silence as he rings up the items and places them into a bag. You jab your card into the machine and look down determinedly because you are absolutely sure your cheeks are bright red.
“Are you okay? Your face is really red.”
Fuck.
“I’m fine.” You give him an awkward smile. “It’s just… the cold outside.”
The little smirk he gives you as he hands the bag over gives you a heart attack. “I see. Well, have a nice day! Happy holidays!”
What the fuck does that smirk mean?
“Thanks, you too!” you squeak before bolting out of the store.
Outside, the cold air cools your cheeks and after trudging a few streets, you sit down at the bus stop. With a sigh of relief as the pressure is taken off of your aching feet, you take out the receipt from your latest bag to stuff inside your wallet.
What’s on the receipt nearly gives you a second heart attack.
Hey, one of my friends told me you think I’m cute. Well, I think you’re cute too. Here’s my number, text me sometime, alright?
XXX-XXX-XXXX
A strangled sort of screech leaves your throat, causing more than a few concerned looks to be thrown your way, but you’re too busy staring at the receipt to care.
Once you’re settled on the bus, you take out your phone with trembling fingers and input the number. After agonizing over the text for several minutes, you settle for “Hey, you gave me your number on my receipt. Are you sure it wasn’t a mistake?”
One minute passes, then two, then three.
Read.
Typing…
No mistakes were made. I’m Xukun, but I’m sure you know that.
I hope you are Y/N?
You’re almost hyperventilating.
Yeah, I am.
He responds quickly.
Great. Want to go out for coffee sometime? My treat!
It takes all your effort not to scream out loud, but as you type out your answer with a smile on your face, you can’t help but think that maybe, just maybe, Christmas shopping isn’t so bad.
. . . . .
You’ve always wanted to be kissed in the rain, thinking that it’s the ultimate romantic gesture. Well, there isn’t any rain, but maybe snow will do.
- - -
“Why do you love rain?” Linong asks, shivering in the cold. He’s wearing a huge coat and has a scarf wrapped around his neck, while you only have a warm sweater. “Rain is so… cold.”
“But what about when the sun is out while it’s raining? Then it’s warm rain, and it’s like… fun! You can jump around in the rain!” You grin, whirling around with your arms out. “Plus, you’re so tall and fit. How come you’re still cold? It’s just a little snow!”
Linong shrugs, burrowing further into his scarf. “It’s still snow,” he mumbles.
Rolling your eyes, you grab his hand. “Warmer?”
You can see the blush on his cheeks despite his efforts to hide it. “Come on, we’ve been dating for nearly six months, Nong!”
The kiss you press on his cheek seems to increase the blush. “Warm now? That’s what your face is telling me.”
“Stop teasing,” Linong complains.
“What if I don’t want to?” You smile teasingly, squeezing his hand a little tighter.
“So you want to continue teasing? How about I ask you about your fantasy of being kissed in the rain?” Linong tosses back, finally pulling his face out of his scarf.
Suddenly, your face feels warm. Much warmer than before. “How - how do you know about that?” you squeak.
“You shouldn’t leave scribbles in the margins of your chemistry notebook,” he smirks.
Noted.
“Dammit,” you mutter. You can’t even be mad because you were the one who lent the notebook to him.
“I mean, I could help you with that,” Linong mumbles, looking away. His face is red again.
You look up at the sky, almost getting a face full of snow. “There’s no rain…?”
“Snow’s suitable though, right? Until we actually get some rain?” Linong asks, looking adorably awkward. You blush too, but you also place your other hand in his.
“Of course it is,” you say, leaning up.
The falling snow swirls around your faces, resting on your hair, his scarf, and both yours and his cheeks as Linong presses his lips to yours in one of the sweetest kisses you’ve ever shared.
. . . . .
Baking cookies? Not such a good idea when your friends decide to come over and wreak havoc in the kitchen.
- - -
When you suggested baking cookies with Justin, you didn’t expect him to be this much of a mess.
“Even Linkai can follow directions!” you scold, taking the dough out of Justin’s hand. “And stop eating it, you could get sick!”
“But then I’d have you to nurse me back to health,” Justin points out.
“You’re learning too much from Lin Yanjun!” you snap, whirling around with the bowl. Your boyfriend just snakes an arm around your waist as he licks another bit of dough off of his finger.
“Huang Minghao!” you yell, snatching the bowl away from him. “Stop eating the dough or there will be no cookies for you!”
His eyes widen in mock terror and he backs away, raising his hands in surrender. “Okay, okay!”
You sigh. “Didn’t you bet Zhengting that if you could get through a baking session without breaking anything, you’d choose what he had to wear on his next date?”
Justin nods eagerly, and you have to stop your heart from melting at the sight of the sparkle in his eyes. “Yeah! I’m going to make him wear that stupid gag gift Chengcheng sent me.”
“Jesus,” you say, spreading the dough out. “What did he ever do to you? No one should have to wear a sweater that ugly.”
Your boyfriend just shrugs.
“I’m dating an evil idiot,” you mutter, taking out the cookie cutters. “Here. Let’s cut the dough, and then after the cookies are baked we can decorate them, alright?”
“The best part!” Justin cheers.
“You better not eat all of the frosting,” you warn. “The cookies are already enough sugar for you!”
He sticks out his tongue. “No amount of sugar is enough sugar for Justin!”
“If you keep saying stupid stuff, I’m going to kiss you to shut you up.”
“Then I guess I better keep saying stupid stuff -”
Justin’s lips taste like cookie dough. As much as you hate to say it, the sweet flavor is appealing.
“Stop with the stupidity, Justin,” you say when you break away, leaving the boy somewhat shell-shocked and red-faced. “Now help me clear up. Don’t break anything, or else Zhengting’s going to make you wear that sweater to the Yuehua party!”
You eventually clean everything and get the cookies decorated without Justin breaking anything, but not before he sneaks in about a half dozen more kisses.
. . . . .
Your neighbor just walked out wearing the ugliest Christmas sweater you’ve ever seen. You think your eyes are bleeding, but somehow, he still looks… kind of cute.
- - -
“So, Zhengting,” you say amiably, hoping your eyes aren’t too wide with horror, “why are you wearing what you are wearing?”
Justin cackles from inside the apartment and you stifle a smirk. “Was it Justin’s fault?”
Zhengting sighs, eyes narrowed with disdain and helplessness. “Yeah,” he grumbles. “Lost a bet, so now I have to wear this shitty sweater Chengcheng sent him.”
“I hope Chengcheng got that as a gag gift, and not as a real gift,” you say, looking Zhengting up and down. “Ooookay, that’s it, that’s enough, my eyes are bleeding. I can’t look at you anymore. Take that thing off!”
“He’s not allowed!” Justin yells.
“You better let him change, Huang Minghao, or so help me I’ll return every single one of your Christmas gifts this year!” you yell back. “We can’t go on a date like this!”
“Yes you can!”
Zhengting sighs. “Let the kid have his fun,” he says resignedly, giving you a half smile. “It’s almost Christmas.”
“What happened to my strict boyfriend who didn’t put up with shit from Justin?” you gasp in mock surprise.
“He disappeared. Now let’s go out,” he says, taking your hand. “Before Justin thinks of something even worse for you to wear.”
You snort. “He wouldn’t dare. Also, why is this sweater so scratchy?”
“Fan Chengcheng is the worst.” Zhengting shrugs.
“Well, it if helps, you still look kinda cute.” You give your boyfriend a wide smile. He just laughs.
“You look kinda cute too, I guess.”
. . . . .
Every year, you and your neighbor compete over who has the best Christmas decorations outside your house. It isn’t friendly competition. Last year, the kids were flocking over to your neighbor’s house, oohing and aahing over their sparkly lights, and this year, you’re determined not to lose.
- - -
“My decorations are better than yours this year,” you say smugly, watching the kids on your street stand transfixed by the sparkling lights.
Zhangjing huffs. “As if,” he mutters, looking salty.
“It’s the truth, Zhangjing.” You grin. “You just don’t want to admit it.”
Sweet, sweet victory. After two years of losing to your insufferable neighbor over your informal Christmas decoration competition… well, all you can say is victory is sweet.
The red and green lights illuminate Zhangjing’s sulky face and you have the sudden urge to pat his head like you would a small, whiny toddler. “Don’t be so sulky,” you coo.
“I’m not sulky!” Zhangjing snaps.
“Yes, you are. Also, it’s really cold now. Shouldn’t you be inside your house?” You look at him quizzically. “Why are you still out here?”
A small blush flits across Zhangjing’s cheeks. “Locked myself out,” he mumbles.
“You are a grown man, and you still managed to lock yourself out?” You snicker.
Zhangjing does not deign to reply.
“I can try to pick your lock,” you offer once your laughter subsides.
“Pick my lock?!”
You shrug. “Yeah. I used to be pretty good at picking locks until my friends forced me to stop.”
“For good reason,” Zhangjing mutters. “But yeah. You can give it a shot.”
“Cool, let’s go!” you cheer, fishing out a little bag of lock-picking tools from your pocket.
“Why do you have those in your pocket?”
You just grin in response.
- - -
You wiggle the pick inside the lock for a few seconds before looking up. “How come we do this every year? This stupid competition?”
Wind whistles through the air as Zhangjing does not respond.
“It’s weird,” you say, turning back to the lock. “No one ever put up lights on this block before I moved in. How come you did?”
Zhangjing mumbles something completely inaudible.
“What?”
“Yanjunmight’vesaidsomethingaboutgettingchristmaslightssothatyouwouldactuallynoticemebecauseithoughtyouwerecute.”
You blink. “What?”
Zhangjing huffs and smacks his head. “Why did I say anything,” he mumbles.
“Why’s your face so red?” you ask.
“It’s cold out!” he snaps defensively.
“My face isn’t that red… is it?” You shrug. “Anyway, didn’t catch what you said. Just Yanjun, Christmas lights, and… cute?”
A sigh of defeat rushes past your ear as you wiggle the lock pick around again. “When you moved in, I thought you were cute, so Yanjun suggested I get Christmas decorations to get your attention. And then it just evolved into some weird competition. Happy?”
“Uh, no?” you snap, standing back up. “If I’d known you thought I was cute, I would’ve asked you out like, two years ago!”
Dead silence. There isn’t even wind.
“In that case, unless you don’t think I’m cute anymore, I think we should go on a date tomorrow,” you say decisively, turning back to the lock. “I’ll come over at two!”
Snick. The lock opens. “And now your house is unlocked,” you say proudly. “I’ll see you tomorrow!”
The kiss you then press to his cheek leaves Zhangjing speechless.
. . . . .
You love winter, but winter hates you. Every year you get horrible seasonal allergies, complete with a stuffy nose, sneezes, and a rasping cough that drives away everyone within a fifty-foot radius. The only person who cares to stay near is your best friend, which is a little bit of an issue considering you have a sort of kind of massive crush on them.
- - -
“Toss me into a fire,” you mumble, sounding like you’ve got dirt in the back of your throat. “Everything hurts and I’m cold.”
No one hears you, of course. You’re alone.
“And now I’m talking to myself like the dumb, sick, idiot I am,” you mutter. “No wonder no one wants to be around me.”
And of course you’re being overdramatic again.
It’s not that no one wants to be around you normally. It’s just that no one wants to be around your germy, snotty, allergy-ridden self.
Winter is fun. Winter is great. Winter is awesome. You love winter, because it means presents, joy, snow, and time spent with loved ones.
But winter hates you. It always gifts you a stuffy nose and a loud, headache-inducing sneeze-cough that always comes just in time for the holidays, leaving you knocked out at home, taking multiple allergy medications in the hopes that you’ll be better in time for Christmas.
A loud sneeze racks your body, followed by a volley of coughs, and then you sink under your covers again. You sigh as deeply as you can without killing your throat.
Then someone knocks on the door.
Two seconds later, your phone buzzes.
Fan Chengcheng, December 12, 3:00 pm
Open the door!
You blink once, then twice. Why is Chengcheng here? When it’s clear you’re sick and dying?
You, December 12, 3:02 pm
are you trying to get yourself sick
Fan Chengcheng, December 12, 3:02 pm
Allergies aren’t contagious idiot
You, December 12, 3:03 pm
ya but the germs in my snot probably are
He just sends back a puking emoji followed by ‘just open the goddamn door.’
“God help me,” you mutter, rolling out of bed. You’ve wrapped your blanket around you like a burrito and you remain huddled in it, teeth chattering as you trudge through the cold apartment.
“Get inside,” you sniffle, shoving the tall boy inside before slamming the door shut. Even then, some of the cold seeps in, and you shiver underneath your blanket.
Chengcheng sets a bag down on your coffee table and raises an eyebrow. “I didn’t think you’d look this bad,” he says offhandedly.
A scowl spreads across your face. “If I wasn’t so sick, I’d punch you,” you rasp.
“Yeah, I know.” He sticks out his tongue. “But you are sick, so I have immunity. Well, for now.”
Huffing, you stomp on his foot, making him yelp more so in surprise than pain. “I’m going back to bed,” you mumble. “Do whatever you want, just don’t invite anyone over and don’t break anything. And don’t complain tomorrow if you wake up unable to breathe through a stuffy nose.”
There’s a beat of silence, and then Chengcheng lifts you up, and you let out a strangled noise of surprise and embarrassment. Your face is hot and you pray that you can put it down to allergies if Chengcheng asks.
“Put me down!” you yell, the end of your command turning into a hacking cough.
“In your condition?” Chengcheng counters, nearly slamming your head into the doorframe. “No way.”
He almost knocks you into your bedroom wall. “You’re trying to kill me!” you snap.
“I would never!” he gasps, affronted, dumping you unceremoniously on the bed and placing a hand on his chest.
With effort, you roll over, covering yourself in the blanket. “Good night,” you mumble.
Chengcheng laughs, a small, quiet laugh that’s so uncharacteristic of his usual boisterous self that you’re confused for a moment. And then the bed dips as he settles on the mattress, and his hand goes to rest in your hair, and you really want to tell him to stop or he’ll get sick but the feeling is so soothing and calming that you really don’t want him to stop.
“Go to sleep,” he murmurs, carding a hand through your hair. “You’ll feel better.”
As you drift into dreamworld, you hear a faint murmur.
“If only we could stay like this forever.”
You want to answer, but sleep claims you before you can.
. . . . .
Presents are a must at Christmas time, no? But no matter what you get this year, there’s only one thing you really want: you want him to come home.
- - -
“Still moping?” Zhangjing asks, sighing through the phone.
You roll over in bed. “Leave me alone,” you mumble, words muffled by the pillow. “Let me mope in peace.”
“Do you want to come over and see my Christmas lights?” he offers.
“Thanks, but I’ll pass. Are you still having that competition with your neighbor?”
“About that…” Zhangjing coughs. “We’re kind of dating now?”
“WHAT?! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS? WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME?! I WANT ALL OF THE DETAILS!”
“I’ll tell you when I come over, just please stop screaming,” he begs.
“Fine. Her lights were better than yours though last time I saw,” you joke.
“That’s it, I’m never speaking to you again,” Zhangjing huffs. You can hear him shuffling things around on his end.
“No, no, I’m sorry, Zhangjing,” you relent, rolling over again. Silence takes over the call and your smile slips off of your face as you remember who isn’t coming home.
On the other end, Zhangjing curses. “Damn you, Lin Yanjun,” he complains. “Can’t even come home to be with your girlfriend for Christmas.”
“Be quiet, he’s just busy. And I’m just being an overdramatic idiot. I’ll get over it,” you assure him. The skeptical silence that follows tells you that Zhangjing is not reassured.
“Alright, enough of this. I’m coming over with some of the boys. Chengcheng can’t come though, his friend is sick and he’s taking care of her,” Zhangjing says in his no-nonsense voice. “I have cookies and we’ll cook and then we’re going to binge watch TV shows, got it?”
A slow smile spreads across your lips. “Thanks, Zhangjing.”
- - -
Once laughter is bouncing off of your walls, you don’t feel so lonely anymore. Justin’s and Linkai’s screams fill the rooms, and you find yourself smiling more widely than you thought you would.
“Feeling better?” Zhangjing asks over the yells in the kitchen. You nod and grin.
Soon, all the food is cooked and your tiny coffee table is creaking under the weight of all the dishes. The younger kids attack it all with a vengeance, though they’re sure to leave enough food for the “oldies.”
(“Who are you calling old?” Zhengting’s girlfriend snaps.
“Not you!” Justin yelps.)
You simply sit on the couch, watching from a distance. Seeing them all so happy warms your heart but at the same time, it just makes you remember who isn’t here.
“Dammit, Lin Yanjun,” you whisper, the smile slipping off your face.
“Are you okay, Y/N?” Ziyi asks worriedly from across the room, trying to pick his way along the floor while Justin and Linkai wrestle wildly. At his words, though, they immediately stop, looking at you with wide eyes.
“I think Y/N needs a hug!” Justin announces, launching himself onto you. Linkai follows suit and you groan under their weight. “Help…”
Instead of them getting pulled off, though, more weight piles on, and pretty soon you’re buried under a mound of people. A tired sigh escapes your lips but at least you’re smiling. “Get off me!” you yell playfully. “I can’t breathe!”
In the second of silence that follows your declaration, there’s a loud knock on your door, followed by the doorbell.
“Who’s that?” you ask, wriggling out of the pile. “You think someone’s lost?”
“Maybe,” Ziyi says, shrugging. “I’ll go check.”
“Don’t get murdered on Christmas,” Justin quips.
“Murdered?” Linong asks worriedly.
“Joking, Nong, I’m joking.”
“Y/N, it’s something for you!” Ziyi yells.
Your eyebrows wrinkle in confusion. “I thought packages weren’t delivered on Christmas?” you mumble to yourself.
“‘Something?’ What am I, not a human?”
You freeze.
“Y/N?” Ziyi pokes his head out of the corner to see you frozen. “Oh, there you are.”
“Is he actually here?” you squeak. “Like… I didn’t imagine that just now, right?”
Ziyi smiles. “He’s actually here.”
Two seconds later, you’ve knocked Yanjun into the doorframe with the force of your hug, but none of that matters because he’s home.
“Damn you,” you say, your words muffled by his jacket. “I hate you, Lin Yanjun!”
“I love you too, Y/N,” he says, patting your back. “Now can I come inside? It’s really cold out.”
You let him stumble inside and shut the door before wrapping him in a hug again. “I’m not letting you go,” you mumble.
“Not even to let me kiss you?” your boyfriend asks amusedly.
“Fine, I will make one exception.”
“KISS! KISS!”
“Remind me to slap Justin when this is over,” you say, letting Yanjun go briefly. He takes off his jacket and pulls you to him again as your arms go around his neck. He looks into your eyes with all the love in the world, and then he kisses you.
“I love you,” you murmur when you break away for air, “and I’m so glad you came back.”
“I love you too,” Yanjun says breathlessly before pulling you in again. “Merry Christmas, my love.”

— Summary : A caretaker and a royal, being faced by their feelings. Where’s the only problem is the question if a royal can ever be together with a lower rank status or not? Will it ever be a sin if such royal decided to dedicate his future by breaking his own royal law?
Tumblr media
Huang Ming Hao, Justin Huang. Isn’t it cute to suddenly imagine him being a royal? The next heir to rule on the throne of the Huang Kingdom, the young growing teen who’s growing into a very dashing fine man despite he’s only 15?
To compound Justin Huang in a nutshell will be hard, because his life is too complex to even be put into a small compartment to be concluded. Let’s start from his early days, despite he is the youngest out of the 9 Power Kingdom. This is the early life of Huang Justin, the royal of the Huang Kingdom. The child who’s already destined which path he should take, without any freedom to choose his future as he was forced to be what he is born for.
The Kingdom of Huang, a place or kingdom where the sun shines the brightest. All seasons always warm and cheerful, where the skies stay blue even when a light shower came. The land filled with smiles and cheers, peace and endless love to the royal family.
Justin is born with love and attention, love from both of his royal families and love from his own citizen who celebrated his arrival to the world. He was more than proud to be born and raised as a royal, despite having the packed schedule to study and train and study and train again. He didn’t mind it one bit, he always dreamed for his time to come and lead the Kingdom. He wants to be ready.
He could say that he’s well acquaintance with the other 8 Kingdoms in view. He aspired to be as powerful like a Wang one day, to fight well like the Fan, to negotiate beautifully like a Chen, but not get himself killed like a Cai.
To say it directly, he hated the Cai. He hated their ego, their pride to think they’re the best when everyone knew it’s the Wang without a second glance. But also, because Xukun once broke his train sets when he was like 7 or something and never even apologize to him. Call him petty to hold onto that grudge for 5 years already, he didn’t care.
Huang Justin is also hard-headed, very self-centered and too independent. He doesn’t like being bothered, to be more precise he doesn’t necessarily like being helped or babied. So, when his parents bought him a caretaker when he was 12, he pretty much hated everything about her. He finds her very much too annoying and too bossy, he finds her babying him too much on his studies, he finds her too uptight on his own schedule, and he finds her babying him too much.
He hated you
You weren’t a natural born royal, but you grew up and spend most of your childhood in the Huang’s humble castle grounds. Being the daughter of the most loyal and trustful servant of the king and queen, you already knew where your path lies.
To serve and obey the royal, and you didn’t mind it one bit. You know the simple etiquette for a royal, discipline and polite, and calm. Well you tried to be calm dealing with the lovable prince of Huang. Despite they say he’s already very much very mature for his age, you would say otherwise.
Because you’re not dealing with an actual royal, a mature soon-to-be crowned king.
You were dealing with an actual child
He was only 12 when you first met him, a 4 years gap which wasn’t so bad. You were a teen and he was growing into one, you hope. The thing that irk you was his putrid manner, he literally ignored your whole existence when you came into his life. Like a little prick, he does everything to make your life like hell.
Like Justin explained before, he doesn’t like being babied and being told off to. So, when you came barging into his life, he sees you more of a brick wall that will just interfere with his future plan. Hence making him the most annoying kid in the whole universe.
“That’s not the spoon we use to drink the soup, Prince Huang”, you once said to him. He only stared at you, a visible glint of mischief in his eyes.
“I do what I want”, he said. Purposely he would throw his dining utensils between one another to make those annoying clinking sound, which would surely get him kicked out in a formal dining between the royals dinner or such. So, what did you do? Forcement method, make him learn the hard way.
Oh, you can so conclude he hated you more since then.
Surprisingly, 2 years passed like a swish and you managed to cope up with his antics, tantrums, whatever you want to call it. You could say you lost count on how many headaches you’ve handled, how much pent up emotions you wished you could direct it all out to him, and how amazing you manage to not murder the favorable angel of the Kingdom.
You thought you had to deal with more of his tantrum on the following years, it was until the extent you tried to believe and pray for miracle to happen.
And it did, that miracle is the most lovable, mature, actual human sunshine Chen Li Nong. You could never be more grateful of his existence making a surprise visit to the Huang. Linong literally made the stop to rest at the Huang’s humble home after striking the all time deal with the You Kingdom. Giving you the one and only chance to see Justin being all giddy and less than annoying for the first time in your life.
“Ahh, you must be this child’s caretaker?”, he said. You smiled politely at him and my oh my, he was literally the actual definition of an actual living sunshine. “Linong, Chen Li Nong from the Chen Region”, he introduced himself. “Your stay is our greatest pleasure, Prince Chen”, you said before he was dragged out by Justin to catch up.
Linong stared when they were already in a decent distant from you, he stared at the younger. “I don’t understand you sometimes, Huang”, he said. Justin only scoffed and guided him to the guest room Linong usually occupied when he plays to his kingdom.
Linong slumped down on the bed, feeling the relief to feel an actual mattress instead of velvet cushioned chair. “She’s a beautiful muse, perfect”, Linong said as he faced Justin who’s opening the window to let fresh air in the bedroom.
“She is”, Justin said. A small smile played on the yellow turnip’s face, his eyes glints in wonder. Linong stared at the younger in amusement, he finds his own limbs take place to where the younger is standing. His eyes locked on your figure, who’s chatting aimlessly with one of the servants who’s trimming the bushes. Justin awed a little on the small interaction, which caught Linong in surprise.
“You like her”, Linong stated.
Justin only stared at Linong, his chin resting on his hands which are being held by the windowsill. His eyes locked on Linong’s which is filled with excitement, his was filled with adoration. He pulled up a bigger smile, his cheek slightly tinted.
“I never said I hated her, have I?”
“Well you made it seems like you do”, Linong pointed out. Justin only hummed in approval, the older wasn’t wrong. “I don’t deal with feelings too well, you know this”, he said.
“Ahh, a 14 year old sprouting love”, the sunshine teased. Justin only smiled adoringly, his eyes still glued at you who’s laughing for whatever had happened.
“Who knows, maybe it’s only puppy love or such.”, he said. “But I never hate her, I would never”
*****
You would never know what did Linong do to Justin during his short stay, all you knew the progress happened quickly. Mostly, you assumed Justin was on his puberty mood-swing phase and ended up being the nicest kid when he hits his 15.
He would still annoy you whenever he can, but it wasn’t too much of a hassle. At least he did open up to you, just a slight change but it was better than nothing.
Wearing your usual outfit, a simple white shirt with a pair of black jeans. A small yellow diamond rested itself on your collar, a symbol of the Kingdom’s warmth and color. It was tea time, or more to a sugar spree for the young prince.
He hummed when he caught the scent of the freshly brewed tea, paired with the sound of the fluid gentle flow as it hits the bottom of the porcelain teacup. “Two cubes”, he said in pure excitement on the sight of the cubes. You chuckled and nodded.
“I know”, you said and plumped two in his fair of cup.
Slowly he took the warm cup, sipping it slowly to not burn the tongue of his.
Tea time, in the meaning also as his alone time to relax and forget as he feeds himself away in a sugar rush. You began tidying the table bit by bit, occasionally filling his cup whenever it’s almost empty as he devours the shortcake and scones on his plates.
He would occasionally let out a small sight in content, his lips tugged into what you would call an angelic smile.
Beautiful
“Come with me”, he spoke out suddenly.
Your hands stopped every movement, afraid losing any balance and would ruin the expensive porcelain his family got from England. You stare at him, slight confusion in your eyes.
He smiled, sweet like honey and soft like the clouds.
“To the gala, come with me”, he said. The gala, the annual gala everyone had waited for the entire year. How could you forget such important date, The Cai’s Annual Gala
“Your mother already disapproves this”, you calmly stated. Taking another sweet to put on his plate but he only shook his head as his eyes still locks on yours.
“Your mother already found your own partner, I heard she’s the younger sibling of Prince Fan”, you said mindlessly tidying the plates and cups. You knew this already, he had been bugging you and simply asking you the same question every single time, every single moment. You rejected him all the time, despite the countless rejection for the past month, he still ask you anyways.
“I am not fit for such thing”, you said. He stared at you, a little bit of sad glaze slides in his eyes. You sighed. “I am not a royal, I am not fit to go to such high meeting”, you concluded.
“But, you have me. I am a royal”, he said in a persistent tone. “I have to go with a partner, Y/N. And I can’t go without a partner, where shall my face land?”, he whined.
You smiled a little at his tone, like a small child asking for a candy
“That’s why your mother already found and arrange your meeting with young Princess Fan”, you said as you tried to shut him off. “Go with her, you’ll have fun”, you assured him.
“If it’s not you—“, he trails. His eyes locks at yours, raw and tension mixed in one as his orbs pierced itself on yours. You gulped on the sudden intensity the young royal gave out, a somewhat dominating presence.
“—I’m not going”, he said.
“What nonsense are you playing?!”, you jumped by the sudden shriek whilst he was unbothered. He stares at the intruder in such boring gaze, you thought he would fall asleep in spot.
It wasn’t a joke, or a simple prank to give anyone a heart attack. He didn’t mind going with his caretaker, the only person who knows him despite his torture on her for the past 3 years. He finds himself more comfortable around her, he was able to be himself when she’s around. He’s serious on bringing you to the annual ball, he didn’t care if you’re not a royal. To him, you’re far more worth than a royal. Beautiful and elegant in your own way, intimidating and fierce in an amazing way.
He loves it
“M-My Queen”, you stuttered out as you bowed at his mother, the Queen herself stood in front of you.
“Rise, my child”, she said shortly.
The young prince didn’t do anything, he just stood there watching without even giving a single bow to his own mother. You stare in horror at his etiquette and beg him to not let his ego win. Well, what did you expect? He simply threw his face away from his own mother, the queen to pay interest in those tea leaves that had been stuck on the white surface of the teacup.
His mother didn’t pay any mind towards her son’s attitude, she knew this is one of his petty pest taking over him. You only stared in horror, the amount of odd string being pulled between the Queen herself and her own son who paid no mind to her existence.
“I-I am sorry by his sudden behavior, my Queen”, you splashed the words out in a hurry. The young royal only stared at you in a sad glance, it wasn’t even in your place to protect him.
“What do you want, mother?”, he said.
You swore, you wished you could slap the ego in his voice as it was laced with pure cockiness and a sack of pride. “That’s not a tone to be used when you speak to your mother”, the Queen glared at her own son.
When she turned her head to face yours, you sucked up a breath hoping for the best.
“I would want to have a word to my son, Y/N”, she said. “Privately”, she ended in a press. You nodded and soon took your leave despite the gaze the young royal gave out as a sign for you to stay by his side. But you didn’t pay any mind to his silent plead, it wasn’t your place to be anyway.
When both has seen your silhouette disappeared, shadow swallowed in the far end of the garden’s door, the mother spoke out again.
“It’s the Cai’s Annual Gala, I suppose you knows how we are always invited every year”, she stated. He only grumbled and decided to find other objects to pay his mind on. Either it was the sunny blue skies or the green fresh trees.
“I’m not dumb, I know what this Gala meant to our family”, he said coldly.
“Good”, she smiled proudly. “You’ll be leaving in a week, I’ve arranged your suit and other jewelries for you to be worn in the Gala later on. About your partner, I’ve received the letter from the Fan this morning, such lovely young lady who’s smitten by—"
“I will not go to the gala with the Fan’s sister, mother”, he hissed out. The older female only stared at her son in surprise. “I’m not giving my hand to be held unwillingly by the Fan’s, she’s smitten by another royal and I’m not in place to make such drama”
“Then who do you have in mind?”, she stared at him coldly.
A tug of mischief finds itself on his eyes and mouth, he stare at his mother. “That, I think you know who I have in mind”
“You are not taking your caretaker as your partner to the gala”, she hissed out like venom.
“Then I’m not going”, he said as he stood up from his seat. His mother stared at him in horror, a royal and a low life in the Cai’s gala, stupid.
“What game are you playing against your status and this Kingdom?!”, her hand slammed loudly on the glass table, impacting the other porcelain as it clutters against each other by the sudden force. “You have your responsibility as the next heir, I did not teach you to be such a brat!”
He stared at his own mother in amusement, it had been some time since she let her fury out. But he knew, he was winning.
“I have my own responsibility as a soon-to-be King, I realized that”, he travels out the words slowly. Irking the tone, making it very much spiteful.
“But I also my own rights to choose my own path, mother”, he said.
“NONESENSE!”, she spites back at her son, he didn’t waver a single bit on her tone
“You never raised me to be a true King, mother”, he stared at the Queen coldly. Each words were like venom and knives piercing themselves on his mother. “I was raised by the royal tutor, he who teaches me all the knowledge and responsibility that lies upon me. I was raised by my father, a true king and fighter who fought in many wars as he teaches me how to be strong for myself and for the kingdom. It was a shame he died before I could even properly hold my sword—“, he chuckled
But I was raised by my caretaker the most, she who teaches me etiquette, accompanied me during my self-defense class, who knows not just my schedule but also who I am. You never raised me, you forced me into things I never wanted”
The fury in her eyes poured out a bigger fire in her system, she swung her hand to her son’s face. He knows her antics, before long he stops the sudden force as he held his mother’s hand in place, firmly. A look of disbelief on her face, her mouth gapes open by the sudden action.
“You are not forcing me into your wishes without my consent, mother”, he hissed out. “I am not going to sit down silently as you make plans to a future where I am miserable. I have my own rights to choose where my path lies, as a prince and as a soon-to-be King”, he said as his grip tightened a little on the Queen’s hand.
“You don’t even have anyone to wed to be a King”, she said back
This made him smile, a glint of softness in his once cold gaze. “That’s what you thought”, he said calmly.
“I know my future, from who I shall bring to the gala as I introduced the girl in my hands proudly to the other royal until who I shall marry in the future making her a queen, my queen”
And with that he throws the Queen’s hand from his grip, taking his leave without a single bid of goodbye to his mother.
He wasn’t letting her control him anymore, its not her place. He wasn’t going to live in a life where he’s being controlled against his own will, he wasn’t going to live in a life where he’s far pressed just by a certain status. This time, he’s choosing his life. Who he shall be, his paths, but also who shall take him fully and claim him as theirs.
He knows who going to take that place, he was only reserved for one person and he knows too well he’s going to marry you one day.
At the end of the day, making you his queen
*****
The halter top dress is pretty much very comfortable when it hugs your figure. The golden-yellow colored hue was sure to catch a lot of attention as you passed by, but you chose to pay no mind on it. You stared at your arms linking itself on Justin’s hold, an obvious grin on his face.
“I would never understand how you manage to get this to happen”, you said
His lips tugged into a bigger smile, this time it was more than satisfaction, smug and playful. He clucked his tongue in a playful manner, a hand playing with his waxed hair as he pulls it here and there.
“I get what I want”, he said.
You didn’t know how long did the gala last, but you knew there was more drama being putted in this year’s annual gala. It was amusing going to a royal gala, especially since you’ve never been into one. It struck you like stars when you saw the Wangs with your own two eyes, how they stride in like they own the place.
But you never knew Justin was close with them, or with the princess herself
Occasionally throughout the night you felt the off churns in your system, as if you felt sick. Your gaze wander around the young royal who’s conversing with the female Wang. Tall, lean and strong, very beautiful. You wouldn’t be surprised to see Justin being completely smitten by the other female, everyone is.
But why did it felt like everything is wrong? That the sudden sickness was stuck on your throat as your eyes burn in fury when you see Justin’s arms circled itself around the female Wang to protect her from Prince Cai? It wasn’t possible, you couldn’t possibly be smitten by Justin.
You’re his caretaker, his somewhat tutor. Years passed since you met him, watching him grow to be the royal he stood now. You were proud of him, amaze with his improvements. Why does this seems off to you then? You know him by now, a child but also a royal. It was always between you and him in the Kingdom, taking care of him but also knowing who he truly is. Why now? Seeing Justin conversing to one royal to another royal, you realized you would never stand like him. You found your hand gripped on the champagne glass tight, a harsh weight on your throat.
“Y/N?”
You snapped back from your own trance, gasping quite loud when you saw Linong standing in front of you with an expression of shock and glee.
“Prince Chen”, you blurted out.
“It’s great seeing you here”, he said in much joy. Linong turned around, finding his ways on the large ballroom, trying to find a certain thing or person. “Where’s that child?”, he asked finally.
“With the Wang”, you simply said.
Linong nodded knowingly, he knew Justin is apparently very close with the female Wang. Everyone knows it, it was as if she was his sister from a different family.
You smiled at him, knowing with this you could busy your mind with this odd conversation aside of thinking about the young royal.
“I never thought to see you again”, he suddenly said catching you off guard. Probably noticing the tone and wording, Linong gawped in horror. “I-I’m sorry! That’s not what I meant—I mean—Oh lord Chen Li Nong!!”, he stuttered out in shame.
“No, it’s fine!”, you said back to the flustered royal.
You waited for him to take a deep breath, calming himself in the end. A tinge of pink still on his face, but his smile forever will decorate his face.
“I meant—I never thought I would see you so suddenly in a place like this”, he pointed out. You only laughed softly at him, nodding. “Prince Huang has his own way”, you said.
“I’m sure he does”, Linong said.
“Linong?”, a sudden subtle soft voice called out. Linong turned around slightly, his face contorted into pure joy by the sudden intruder
“Hey, beautiful”, he said softly. It’s like as if everything was so familiar to them already, everything unravel itself as if it was a script. Small hands that found itself circling around Linong’s as he pulls her closer to his side, he smiled to her. The smile with pure adoration and softness
Pure beauty, like a goddess. Delicate and soft like a feather, sweet and beautiful like a flower. The Princess of Lin, the girl who’s smitten for the young Prince Chen. She looked so small and fragile in Linong’s hands, polite and pretty much raised as a true royal.
“Hello”, she greeted. You bowed a little knowingly, a smile on your face. “Evening, Princess”, you said softly.
“This is my childhood friend, Princess Lin from the Lin’s Kingdom”, Linong said as his tone laced with pure pride. “I’ve heard, her beauty does out best the others”, you said teasing the young princess. She only laughed politely and brushed your compliment as she felt shyer than ever. It didn’t took long for her stay, she dashes away as soon as she exchanged some words with Linong, to her brother’s side who’s with his fiancée.
“I heard from Justin beforehand, his mother was forcing him to marry her”, Linong trailed. You grew rigid on the sudden topic, shaking the pressure off you continued. “I’m aware”, you said.
“The Lin’s life isn’t the best”, Linong said as he stared at the other female in a sad gaze. “She lives without any love from her parents, her brother is ruthless and very much cold to everyone. It amazes me to see such royal family exist sometimes”
You only hummed, glancing your way on the young Princess. She smiled wide when she sensed Linong’s gaze on her, giving a small wave which he replied back with a small smile.
You could see Linong truly cared about her, like a lover. His gaze broken knowing what had lied on the young royal’s life, she was broken. You smiled at Linong’s obvious feelings for the other female royal. Linong sighed.
“Congratulation on your marriage”, you said out of the blue. Linong stared at you in shock, soon his face softened up with the sudden future he’s having. He smiled and thanked you, it didn’t took long for his eyes to wander itself back to the young female royal.
He hummed in approval seeing her smile when she’s having a small talk with Prince Fan. “She’s beautiful when she smiles”, Linong said. “She is”, you nodded.
“I wish nothing but happiness for her, an oath to protect that smile on her face”
*****
Nothing was more amazing or annoying than an unplanned visit. Meaning by an unplanned visit, you meant standing in sleep deprived mode at 2AM in the morning in the Wang’s Kingdom. How did this happen, you may ask?
It all started with a lovely gala. Glamorous food on the long buffet table, classical music playing as it fills the giant ballroom, odd conversation between one royal to another, their beloved Prince Cai being smitten by the female Wang in just a night, until him getting into the wrath between the hand of the male Wang.
It’s more amazing to know that everything happened in just a night, then a few days later you’re with Justin in the Wang’s castle witnessing such fight in early morning hue.
You didn’t know how you manage to end up in the Wang’s Kingdom so early, so sudden. Everything happened in a blur. You remembered Justin barging into your chamber, dragging you out as quickly as possible from your own blanket, soon dragging you to the Huang’s royal carriage and off you all go to the Wang’s region.
None know his intention, even Ziyi was surprise when he saw Justin on his front door. When he was asked why he was even there, without sending a proper letter of his arrival. Justin just brushed it off, making himself home at bloody 2AM in the morning.
“Will you just tell me why we are barging in?”, you asked him as you settled your belonging in your designated room with the young royal trailing behind.
“First, We’re not barging in—“, you raised an eyebrow at his statement which he tried to shushed you out. “Ziyi-ge once told me I can come to play whenever I want to”
“At least send him a letter or give me a warning in advance!”, you grumbled out which made Justin shrugs.
“Secondly, I am not missing any chances on seeing that nasty Cai getting his head off”, he said in pure joy. You stare at him judgingly, he did not just admit that.
“He broke my toy train!”, Justin tried to defend. “That was 5 years ago, what’s up with you and your petty arse?! Dear lord, Huang Minghao!”, you said.
You widen your eyes when the realization hits you. A bloody low rank is throwing her frustration out to a royal, the prince who’s ready to be King. The amount of audacity you brought upon yourself to even scream his full name, you could’ve gotten yourself hung dead in a ditch right now, in this bloody place.
“I-I’m sorry, oh my god. This—I am sorry, I let my frustration out. No wait—”, you stuttered out flustered. “This—I shouldn’t have done that. Prince Huang, I’m—"
And his lips are on yours
The sudden action he pulled was enough to make you gasp in pure shock, but who would’ve thought relief and pure joy would laced itself with the shock. Instinctively you closed your eyes to savor the moment, you sighed with content as he hummed in satisfaction.
It didn’t take long before both of you decided to pull away from one another, the feeling of neediness hits both you quicker giving both conflicted thoughts on going on for another kiss. Silence, where the only sounds that accompanied the silence were just both of your breathing.
He stared at you, you stare at him back. Both in softness and relief, but there’s more unsettling conflict in your orbs.
“You don’t know how long I’ve waited to do that”, he said.
Cough, you could only let out an awkward cough. “You’re basically 15, what do you mean by I’ve waited so long to do that”, you scoffed at him.
Justin only shrugged, unbothered than ever. He smile cheekily expecting more things to happen, but you were too flustered to even be near him.
Hence, you came out with the most lame excuse any caretaker could give.
“Get some rest. I’ll make you some tea, Prince Huang”
Justin thought you were just joking, playing with him a little. He thought that simple kiss was able to break you and make you his. A kiss being shared together, mutual feelings. Doesn’t that always works out in fairytales where a prince fall for a girl and he kissed her then they live happily ever after. You must be joking, he thought again.
To his disappointment, you didn’t even try to glance back at his desperate gaze. Swallowed by the soft click of the wooden door, he was faced with a reality that dawned him with nothing but silence.
Making tea at busk of dawn was very much unplanned. You were tired and sleepy, but you still stood unwavering to boil the fresh batch of water to drawn the dried tea leaves.
Thinking back on the sudden kiss you shared with the young prince, you couldn’t help but felt a leap on your heart, accompanied by the slight flush on your cheek. You tried to convince yourself it wasn’t because you’re smitten for the young royal, it was just due to the sudden rise of the temperature in the kitchen.
You sighed, this whole situation will never happen. A royal and his servants, it will never work out. This is like bloody Cinderella all over again, but this time miracle doesn’t happen that easily.
It was till the extent you kept that odd promise or reason to brew him some tea, you manage to do it and finished it. Standing near his room’s door, you were about to knock.
Until voices are visible to your ears
You didn’t mean on trying to peak or steal some wording here and there, especially words that are exchanged between royals. But you didn’t know what stopped your from moving away from his door.
“I heard from the birds that you’re off marrying the Princess from the Fan Region”
“I tried to decline such offer, I have no interest in her”
The lump was on your throat now. How could you forget. Justin is a rising soon-to-be King, a prince who shall be off marrying another royal to continue the Huang’s legacy. He needs a true royal to accompany him, not some pesky servants or caretaker that babies him.
“Then who shall be the lucky lady to be wed by your yellow-haired self then?”
A laugh was heard, despite it was being swallowed by the doors, you could still his voice very clearly.
“I’m only reserved for one, I’m either marrying her or not. But right now, I can’t even grasp if she would say yes if I suddenly propose to her”
And you ran away from his chamber, leaving the freshly brewed tea on the floor, slowly it went cold like your un-ending nightmare.
*****
Morning came easily, you woke up from the most discomforting sleep in your life and dragged yourself to get ready for the day. You barely could even make up your mind that you’re still in the Wang’s manor. Strolling with the young prince on the Wang’s garden, you know what’s being anticipated by the royal. Prince Cai is coming, and he’s about to get killed.
“You’ve been off, was it because of the kiss?”, Justin asked mindlessly.
When you turned around to face him, Justin could clearly see the broken gaze you set upon to be showcased to him.
“W-What’s wrong?”, he asked. Slowly, he tried to get closer but you only shake him off.
“Prince Huang, I just—“, you stuttered out. Great, what an amazing start. He stared at you worriedly but spoke none to bother you.
“Whatever you’re feeling right now, towards me or towards what you are expecting in the future with me, forget it”, you said desperately.
Justin swore his heart plummeted or jumped off a cliff fighting away gravity. You must be playing with him, you couldn’t be serious. In such early morning with a start of a beautiful stroll in the Wang’s garden, you hit him off with a rejection before he could even do anything about his raw feelings
He stared at you coldly, his lips pursed in a thin line.
“Who are you and where do you stand to order such irrational decision on my life?”, he hissed out every single word.
You could feel yourself feeling oddly intimidated, shaken under his dominant behavior instead of his usual playful self.
“You deserve a true royal to be by your side, Prince Huang”, you said. Justin could feel yourself breaking slowly, yet he couldn’t do anything to help you. “I may stand by your side when you became King, but I am not the person who will stay with you to rule like a true royal for eternity. I am not fit to be a Queen”, you manage to whisper it out.
Justin didn’t know what to feel. Confusion on how did you manage to think like this, sorrow to see how a status could impact you and him so much, fury to see you give up on his hope on having a future together with him by forcing him to neglect his own damn feelings.
“You are in no place to command such words on me, Y/N”, he manage to snap. “What I am planning to do is my own path and no one can change it but me, you are in no place to tell me to bloody give up on my feelings towards you!”, he yelled out making you flinch.
He sighed, running a hand on his hair as the action messed up the well combed hair easily with one swift.
“I am not fit for you”, you said. Eyes staring at him, broken. “Just forget about this whole imaginative of yours, Prince Huang. I’m sorry”
He stared at you, blank and cold. His mouth opened to speak and try to object you but no words were exchanged out of his parted lips.
“You’re speaking nonsense”, and he pulled you in the castle ground once again. “Shut up and just enjoy the show”, and you did. You didn’t speak to him any words, you stayed silence even when the tip of a sword was held upon Ziyi’s throat.
*****
Justin is furious, he still is. He finds himself bothered for the whole day, everything irked him. You didn’t even try to talk to him anymore despite what he meant by shut up was pls bloody talk to me I am a desperate lonely bean
He pushed and pull the food on his plate, a wonderful lunch for the 3 royals that had suddenly gathered together. He sighed wishfully.
You were standing by his side, clearly trying to appear unbothered. He stared at Ziyi who’s feeding his raven, The Princess of Luo and Ziyi’s sister who’s hitting off pretty quickly with Xukun despite he almost died on the Wang’s hand.
“Until how long are you planning to ignore me, Y/N?”, Justin spoke out catching everyone’s attention. You were surprised, caught in shock.
“Speak to me, please”, he was pleading now.
“P-Prince Huang—”
Justin had enough, he had just about enough on everything in his life. He was not going to deal with an unwanted marriage that will leave him miserable. He knows he was 15, he knows he was bound to be king when he’s 17. 2 years is what it takes for him to find true happiness, he knows where to find it. The path that lies in front of it, clear like the sea waters in the Chen’s Region. He knows who’s fingers he’s going to put a ring on.
He stared at you, none was glanced towards the others attention that had managed to be grasped by him. He didn’t care. If he’s acting all childish and whiny again, so be it
“Call me by my name”, he said. Almost like he was begging, maybe he was. He had been so desperate to have you for so long. Listening to his name that roll off your tongue so easily was so satisfying and so enduring, he felt his life was completed.
You stayed silence. This is not how you plan on spending the last few days in the Wang’s manor, clearly with Justin’s sudden behavior that’s being showcased towards the other royals on the table.
“Prince-“
“Call me by my name”, he pressed once again. You swallowed down the lump
“Minghao”, he sighed in pure bliss. “Stop your game, it’s not the time for this tantrum”, you snapped back to him. He only smiled, like a child who got praised and awarded with sweets.
“What’s so wrong about a royal who suddenly fell for his servant, his caretaker? What’s so wrong about a royal who suddenly felt the urge to marry the person he loves despite she is in a different status than him?—”
“Princ-“
“I have a name”, Justin brushed off. “Tell me, Y/N”, he said softly. Orbs locks against yours, soft in wonder and anticipation. “Is it a sin for a royal to fell in love with his servant? To want to continue a path with you despite what others might say? Or to imagine a future with you?”
“You’re only 15—“, you tried to fight back
The screeching between the chair and floor was very much loud and distracting, yet the others saw this as a real life drama that’s too good to be true. Justin walked closer to you, closing the distance. His eyes still locked itself on yours, letting you know all the raw emotion that lies beneath him.
“I am far capable, too mature as a 15 year old royal. I am the next King which responsibility had already lies on myself since my father died. A 15 year old child who learns what love is truly is, what a path he wants to choose and who he shall take as his queen”, he said.
“I know I am only 15. But I also know who I want to spend my whole royal life with”, the fangirling shriek from Xukun was heard before a loud slap closed his mouth, which you assume was from the female Wang.
Ziyi’s lips tugged in approval, he does favor Justin since he was young. A true strong royal despite he’s only a small blooming bud of flower. He knows what Justin is capable of, he knows what Justin can do with his own two bare hands. A small child who’s able to control the land and skies, making the waves cowered under his feet.
You were speechless. You tried to speak, fight him but no words were coming out of your lips. Your eyes waver against his, you didn’t know what to do nor what would happen next.
“I don’t care about your status nor your family history lines with the Huang’s. I’ve liked you for so long to even make myself a prick to get your constant attention, why can’t you read those hints?”, he said desperately.
His hand took yours, interlacing his fingers on yours slowly. You sighed feeling the warmth of his gentle touch, he smiled. He knows where your future lies now.
“I’ve fell for you ever since you came into my odd and hectic royal life”, and he lulls you away in a gentle kiss.
You didn’t know what was happening. All you knew was the electricity and butterflies bursting into your system, your eyes closing automatically when his lips lands on yours. Content and home, like it was meant to be.
His hand rest itself on your back whilst the other still held on your hand, not wanting to let go. You felt a cold metal ring slid itself on one of your right ring finger, it tingles a little.
When he pulled away, he stared at you with the most pure satisfaction and adoration within him. He took your hand, raising it as he plant a small gentle feather-like kiss on the ring. The silver band that rest perfectly, tucked between your middle finger and pinky. A yellow diamond rest itself upon the band, shining like the sun.
Justin smiled at you, he was ready for his future. He didn’t mind other obstacle that lies upon him. As long as he has you by his side, he was willing to do anything.
“Rule with me”, his finger twirled a little on the silver band, you felt the sudden tingle on his soft touch.
“Be my Queen for eternity”, he said
“Marry me, Y/N”

Pounding Hearts || Justin Huang
Tumblr media
You clutched a flyer in your hand as you looked around the streets, trying to find the pound, it would be much easier if it wasn’t on the outskirts of town, somewhere you’d barely been. You were about to go down another street when you heard a voice call out behind you.
“Are you lost?” You turned around to see a kind looking boy staring at you curiously, you nodded at him making him walk closer to you before he continued talking. “Where are you trying to go? I know this area pretty well.” You held up your flyer to so he could see it clearly.
“I’m going to the pound.” You replied. As soon as those words left your mouth he smiled, obviously very happy with your choice of destination.
“I’m going there too! Follow me.” He starts walking confidently, gesturing you to follow, as soon as you do he starts talking again. “It’s great to have new volunteers~ I’ve been the newest one for months”
“Why aren’t there more?” You ask him curiously. To your surprise, he stops in his tracks before replying.
“Isn’t it probably the same reason you’re only starting to volunteer? No one knows where it is” You nod at his answer when suddenly he held out his hand. “We should know each other’s names if we’re going to work together, I’m Justin.”
“I’m Y/N” You shook his hand quickly, the area where your skin touched feeling tingly for a few moments afterwards. He continued walking but this time at a slightly faster pace, only slowing down once you could hear barking in the distance signalling the pound was close. “It’s just around the corner. Inductions start at 9 AM, you’ll need to be there since you’re new.” You nodded in understanding before he continued. “What do you want to do afterwards? Are you going to work with the dogs or the cats?” He was looking hopefully at you, clearly wanting a certain answer.
“I want to work with the dogs.” You replied, he smiled brightly, clearly, you’d said the answer he’d wanted. “Do you work with the dogs?”
“I do! I’ll make sure you get to walk a really nice one, okay Y/N?” You nodded excitedly at his words, already looking forward to it. You could see an old looking building up ahead, seemingly the source of the barking, your suspicions were proven right when Justin started pointing at it. “That’s the pound, quite small right?” You nodded, it definitely looked smaller than you thought it would. “By the way, how often are you planning to volunteer Y/N?”
“Just on Saturdays, I have other commitments on other days.” You’d wanted to volunteer more, especially if it meant you’d get to see Justin.
“That’s the same as me, I guess we’ll be seeing each other every week then.” He smiled kindly at you, seemingly looking forward to it. You finally reached the pound, Justin opened a gate before leading you inside directing you to an office. “This is where the inductions start, someone will come soon to show you around, I’ll wait until you’re finished so we can walk the dogs together.” You thanked him before knocking on the door, walking inside as soon as you were given permission.
Inside was a middle-aged lady, she introduced herself as the manager before quickly starting to show you around. As you walked around the compound the barking was deafening, especially when someone approached any of the dog areas.
“Over there are the pound dogs, you’re not allowed in there unless you’re with an employee, do you understand?” She was looking at you sternly making you nod immediately. Suddenly she called Justin over, making him run to your side immediately. “Show Y/N the walking route Justin, I have more paperwork to do” She left as soon as she’d finished speaking, leaving you alone with a beaming Justin.
“Come this way Y/N, I’ve already leashed a dog for you.” He leads you back to the gate you entered the pound though, but this time there were two extremely excited dogs waiting. “This is Choco” Justin untied her leash from the fence, handing it to you before untieing the other dog. “ This is Max, they’re siblings, they look a lot alike right?” You nodded as he opened the gate, Choco immediately tried to run out, overpowering you she pulled you forward. “You need to be more careful Y/N, they don’t get to go out enough so they’re always overly excited.” He grabbed her leash helping you control her, only letting go and starting to walk once he was confident you’d be fine.
You both continued walking in silence, glancing at each other every now and then until you noticed him staring.
“What is it? Is there something on my face?” You asked him worriedly, was silent for a few seconds before hesitantly speaking.
“Next week before we come to the pound, do you want to go to a cafe with me? We can eat breakfast together.” You looked at him surprised, making him even more nervous. “It’s okay if you don’t want to I ju-”
“Are you asking me on a date?” You asked, cutting him off.
“I think I am” He looked at you nervously, waiting for your reply.
“I’ll go on a date with you.”

Justin Huang || Cinnamon Rolls
Genre: Fluff
Tumblr media
“Justin are you even listening to me?” You snap your fingers in front of Justin, who was staring off into space, completely dazed and unfocused before he came back to reality once you snapped your fingers in front of his face.
Justin stared at you, making you giggle at the confused look he was giving you, which you had to admit to yourself that it was quite adorable. But you were determined to bake cinnamon rolls, especially since he’s the one that practically woke you up from your sleep just to tell you that he wanted to bake cinnamon rolls with you.
“Justin, you’re the one who wanted to bake cinnamon rolls with me, you have to pay attention to what I say. Now hand me the bowl please.” You point to the big blue bowl sitting on the edge of the counter. Justin follows your finger and spots the bowl and grabs it, handing it to you.
“Okay Justin, I’m gonna need you to knead the dough. Do you think you can handle it?” Justin nods excitedly at your request and takes the dough out of its packaging and washes his hands at the sink and dries them off before beginning to knead the dough.
As he’s kneading the dough, his hands are covered with flour and his shirt is all messy. “Justin, you haven’t even kneaded the dough for more than one minute and you’re already a mess.” You giggle. He stares at his hands and flushes red, embarrassed.
“Y/N, how long do I have to knead the dough for? I’m hungry~” He whines. You giggle and lean up to peck his cheek. “Just a few more minutes and then you’re done, Justin.”
He blushes from the sudden kiss you gave him and put a speck of flour from the dough onto your face. You glare at him as he laughs at the flour on your cheek. “You jerk!” You huff at him. He snickers and sticks his tongue out at you before continuing to knead the dough. You wipe your finger on the table, collecting flour onto the tip of your finger, and put some on Justin’s nose.
“Hey!” He complains. He turns around to face you and as he does, you stand on your tippy toes and kiss the flour on his nose right off. Justin blushes and pouts, and you just giggle at his cuteness before telling him to finish kneading the dough while you get the rest of the ingredients for the cinnamon rolls.
As Justin is finally done kneading the dough, you lie it down on the table and grab the dough roller. You start rolling the dough with the dough roller, waiting for it to be completely flat. As you’re rolling the dough, you feel Justin’s arms wrapping around yours, helping you roll the dough. You blush and continue rolling the dough with Justin.
The dough was now completely flat on the table as you and Justin finished rolling it with the dough roller. You grab the box of softened butter and start spreading it onto the dough. Justin raises an eyebrow. “Why are you putting butter on the dough?”
You giggle at his question and tell him why. “It’s needed for the cinnamon rolls, Justin. If we don’t put softened butter on the dough, it won’t taste that well, and it’s a very important part in making cinnamon rolls.” Justin’s mouth forms the shape of an ‘O’ at your explanation and you just laugh at him and continue spreading the softened butter on the dough as he waits patiently for you to finish.
You finish spreading the softened butter on the dough and turn to Justin, telling him to grab the cinnamon. He nods and quickly reaches over the edge of the table to grab the bottle of cinnamon. You grab the bottle of cinnamon from his hands and start pouring the cinnamon all over the dough. As all of the cinnamon is spread all over the dough, you grab the rest of the kneaded dough and place it over the top of the cinnamon and start rolling it along the edge of the dough. You cut the dough into slices and place them onto the pan. You walk towards the oven and set them inside and turn on the oven.
“Now all we do is wait for them to be done!” You exclaim. Justin smiles excitedly and claps his hands together, definitely ready to eat those delicious cinnamon rolls.
30 minutes pass by, and the cinnamon rolls were done. You put on mittens and carefully takes out the pan of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. You set them down on the table and Justin eyes them, licking his lips at how tasty they look. “Can we eat them now?” He asks you right as you set the pan down. You giggle. “Yes, if you want your tongue to burn.”
He frowns and lets out the cutest pout. “But Y/N~ I want to eat cinnamon rolls now!” He whines. You leans closer towards him and kiss his pouty lips. “Fine, we can eat them now. Just blow on them since they’re too hot.” He smiles widely as you say this and quickly grabs a napkin and places a cinnamon roll on it. He blows on it before shoving it right into his mouth. He chews on it and sighs at the taste. “It’s so good!” He exclaims. You smile at how cute he looked eating the cinnamon roll and his cheeks puffed out. You grab a napkin and place a cinnamon roll on it. You blow on the cinnamon roll before eating it. “Wow, it is good!” Justin nods his head and finishes the rest of his cinnamon roll.
You finish yours and grab another one, placing it in front of Justin’s mouth. “Open.” You say. He blushes and opens his mouth. You feed him the cinnamon roll and giggle at the crumbs on the side of his mouth. You kiss the crumbs right off, making him extremely flustered.
“The cinnamon rolls are amazing! We make the best cinnamon rolls ever.” Justin says. You smile at him and kiss his lips, which taste sweet from the cinnamon rolls. Justin’s face turns pink and he grabs another cinnamon roll from the pan. He holds it in front of you and tells you that he’ll feed you as well. You blush and open your mouth. Justin feeds you the cinnamon roll and chuckles at how cute your puffy cheeks look. He leans in closer towards you and kisses your cheek, making you blush.
“Next time let’s make brownies!” Justin exclaims.

One-sided- Cai XuKun
Tumblr media
"XuKun!! I got you lunch!" You ran up to him who was lying down on the bench at the rooftop.
Huffing and puffing with your hands on your knees as you had just ran 4 storeys high.
Annoyed at your disturbance, he took of his headphones and frowned at you.
"I did not ask you to get me lunch. Thanks but no thanks." He nudged your shoulders with his as he walked away.
XuKun was your crush, someone you actually liked with all your heart but yet he never accepted you.
Everything you had done, from buying him gifts to cooking for him did not seem to work at all.
But your persistant attitude kept you going.
You knew he had troubles expressing himself as he was not much of a talker.
That day after school, there was a downpour and you had forgotten to bring your umbrella.
"Damn it! How am I going to go back now?" You scratched your head but yet still could not think of what to do.
"Y/N! Let's go home together! We can share my umbrella!" Finally your saviour was here.
Justin Huang, your neighbour and your best friend since forever exclaimed.
Since you both were to walk in the same direction, why not right?
But you failed to see someone staring at the sweet moments you had with Justin.
"Dumbass..." Cai XuKun muttered under his breath, a umbrella clutched tightly in his hand.
The next day
"XuKun! I bought you chocolate!" Both of your hands holding the royce chocolate box tightly with a little hope that he would accept it this time.
And at last, your wish came true. Or so you thought.
He took the box of chocolates which made you smile widely but after doing so, he smirked and threw the box of chocolates onto the floor.
What the actual fuck.
He could have just rejected it nicely instead of throwing a whole box filled with chocolates onto the goddamn floor?!
"I hate you very much." You tried to hold your tears back but you couldn't. Not wanting him to see you in this state, you ran away with agony.
Upon seeing tears drain out from your eye, his eyes had soften a little.
'Was I too harsh on her?" He wanted to run towards you but yet he couldn't bring himself to. Afterall, he was the one who made you cry.
For a few days, you were avoiding Cai XuKun. Maybe you guys were not meant to be together. It was just a one-sided love anyways.
Meanwhile, Cai XuKun had realised how empty he felt without you by his side, giving him the attention that he did not know he craved in the first place.
But this cold treatment had all ended one day.
That day, you had accidentally cut yourself during a cooking class.
"Ouch..." You said, trying to bear excruciating pain.
Lucky for you, Cai XuKun was in the same class and thus turned his head around almost immediately when he heard you.
He rushed over to your table and grabbed your hurt hand softly, examining it.
"傻瓜(fool)" He said softly as he washed your hand tenderly before asking for a plaster and sticking it on.
Maybe. Just maybe, you thought. It was not a one-sided love.

How Should It Be - Xiao Gui/Wang Linkai One Shot
[a/n: ah yes back at it again with another cringey one shot. i meant to post this on 5/20 but i couldn’t get my brain juices to work and finish it until tonight. i hope you guys like it. big reminder that i love wang linkai ❤️. sorry if the fic is a mess btw lol.] / master list
He sags down in his seat, visibly defeated by whatever was on his mind. A pout is prominent on his lips as his best friend cracks a smile, clapping him on the back before wrapping his arm around him, their bodies crashing together.
“Why the long face, Gui? Don’t you know that frowning gives you wrinkles?” he asks. If Linkai wasn’t so down in the dumps, he would’ve smacked the exaggerated frown right off of Chengcheng’s face right then.
Fan Chengcheng has never been the kind to just let Linkai live in his misery. Oh, no. Fan Chengcheng has to twist the knife after he stabs you. Sure, the guy’s quiet when you first meet him. But once you get to know him the way Linkai knows him, it’s a done deal. Your soul is his and there’s no getting rid of him.
“You saw my butthole once, Kai. We’re practically blood brothers now.”
Don’t ask. Linkai is begging.
“Nothing,” he shifts back into the ratty couch. He thinks for a second about how Xingjie is always babbling on and on about how he should replace it (as if Linkai has the money to replace this old hand-me-down couch. He’s a soundcloud rapper. How much does Xingjie even thinks he makes off of his beats?). Something about how just because it’s old, doesn’t mean it’s vintage. Linkai thinks that maybe the spring that pops out of the second cushion of the faded blue sofa may have caught Xingjie by surprise one too many times. That’s why Linkai always sits on the arm rest or lays like a starfish on the floor during movie nights. You’ll never catch him squished in the middle of Yanchen and Xingjie on their Thursday night Grey’s Anatomy marathons (per Yanchen’s request because how could one look at the actual sun and say no?).
He’s picking at the frayed edge of the sofa when Chengcheng says, “It doesn’t look like nothing.” He suddenly snaps, reaching into his pocket before pulling out a pair of his (nonprescription) glasses. He pushes them up on his nose then opens his phone to his notes. Linkai sees him type “WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH GUI TODAY” and watches him not only put it in bold print but italics as well. “I think we should start a diary of some sort. My sister has one of those and she says it’s all a part of a healthy life style. Wait, should we buy a Password Journal for you? Okay, wait Chengcheng. Too far off track. Let’s focus on the now.” He recomposes himself before saying, “First of all, do you know your rising sign? It could help explain a lot of things.”
Linkai thinks that there’s a reason for everything. He thinks that you never meet a person by mistake. But sometimes...he has to question his life mottos as Chengcheng waves his hand and tells him he’ll make his birth chart from scratch, all he needs is the time he was born (because Chengcheng’s already memorized that he was born on May 20, 1999 in the Fujian Province).
“Chengcheng, I promise on my mother that I won’t judge you. Just tell me if you were dropped on your head as a baby or not.“ He’s desperate at this point. There’s no way somebody just wakes up and makes the conscious decision to be Fan Chengcheng. Not any sane person, that is.
“Astrology is a very serious science, Gui and I will not stand for your bashing!” Chengcheng whines.
Likai gives him side eyes. “Didn’t you only get into astrology because Justin said you were a Gemini and he liked that?”
“No!” But the blush rising on his cheeks says otherwise. “Look. This isn’t about me! This is about you! What’s your deal?”
The older one shakes his head, throwing himself back against the couch and hoping that the weird stain to his left would manifest into a blackhole and swallow him hole. He crosses his arms and taps his shoe against the ground, eyes glued to the ceiling popcorn and wondering who the hell even thought that shit was cute. He starts to wonder how much he could pay Chengcheng to eat it when the doorbell rings.
“I’ll get it,” Chengcheng says. “I’m expecting a package!” As he gets up, he throws a cushion at his roommate before hopping away.
Linkai shuts his eyes, too exhausted to even fight back. Maybe it is his package. Maybe it’s Justin. Maybe they have another “date” in Chengcheng’s room (it’s not a real date if Justin doesn’t know it’s a date).
He’s about to drift to sleep when another cushion hits his chin, causing him to bite his tongue.
He’s on his feet and ready to throw hands when his eyes land on (a very pissed looking) you.
Honestly. He’s not surprised. You have this sour face all day and all night and it’s to the point where he’s starting to consider having Chengcheng put together your birth chart so that he can understand just that much more about you.
He crosses his arms. “And what is the problem today, princess?” he raises his eyebrows. He leans down, teasingly close, and wrinkles his nose. “I was just thinking about you.”
“Don’t look so stressed,” you scoff. He pokes your forehead, causing you to stumble back a couple of steps. “Hey!” you whine, rubbing the spot. He can just hear you screaming in your head about how he has dirty finger nails or how his hands are always so cold and boney. You huff. “You’re gonna give me a headache.”
“You give me a headache every time you walk into the room,” he shrugs, pulling back. He throws himself onto the couch again and hears the floor rattle beneath him. Another complaint that you’ll throw at him is how he and Chengcheng should just move out of this ratty old place. (“And go where exactly?” “I don’t know! Go live with Zhengting! I heard he needs a roommate!” “You want us to live with Zhu Zhengting? He’ll be on China’s Most Wanted after he kills me and Chengcheng.”) You roll your eyes instead. “But go on. What did your best friend Wang Linkai do to piss you off today?”
“We had a lunch date!” you stomp your foot.
“A lunch date?!” Chengcheng repeats as he exists the kitchen, choking on the piece of bread he had shoved into his mouth. “You two go on dates?!”
Linkai snorts. Ever since Chengcheng found out the story of how you and Linkai met, he’s been begging for you two to fall in love. (“You met in college when she dropped her books and you helped her pick them up? Fingers lingering, eyes glazing over. Love blooming like spring cherry blossom-“ “Chengcheng, shut the actual hell up. I only helped her out because I’m not an asshole.” “Not an asshole? Have you met you?”). Chengcheng says that he’s read a lot of fan fictions. He knows how this will turn out. Apparently, he’s taking bets alongside Chen Linong and Lin Yanjun as to when you two will finally get together. But jokes on them because you are denser than a book.
According to Chengcheng, it’s not your fault because apparently Linkai has terrible game. His idea of flirting with you is to flake on you half the time, watch you get riled up then pat your head and walk away after you get done ranting to him. Linkai doesn’t call that game. He calls that tolerance because some of this shit you put him through makes his head spin in circles. Plus, he’s got an image to uphold. Xiao Gui AKA.IMP cannot go around braiding flower crowns and singing to the birds like this is some kind of Disney film. He’s still trying to live down that time Xukun posted a picture of him coloring in a coloring book on his instagram story (Ziyi still sends him children’s coloring books every holiday since. Whether Linkai fills them out or not is his business and his business only).
He thinks today is going to be a bad day. He thinks it’ll be one of those days where the two of you will fight to no ends and there’s literally nothing he can do to make you feel better. He hates to admit it but he likes those kind of days because they always end with the two of you laying in his bed. Those are the nights he’ll hold you and wipes your tears, whispering a mantra of “Yes, I’m an idiot” and “I’m sorry, it’s my fault for not cherishing you.” He likes those nights because even though you get on his last nerves, he’ll be willing to admit defeat if that means he’ll get to wake up with you beside him.
“Honestly, Linkai. I don’t even know why I try with you sometimes,” you groan, setting down the bag of food in your hands onto the coffee table with one too many water stains. “Chengcheng, come join us for lunch.”
“Oh, I don’t wanna intrude on your date,” he says.
You smile at him. “It’s not an actual date.“
There’s a weird look on your face as you say that. It’s a look you get that Xiao Gui has never been able to read. Your smile is big but your eyes never seem to match. Your shoulders visibly sag and your movements slow for a second before you seem to realize what you’re doing and get back to being normal. “Come!”
“No,” Linkai plops down on the floor next to you. “He has a lab with Justin due at midnight tonight. He needs to leave.”
“Hm? You keep tabs on me?” Chengcheng has a shit eating grin on his face which quickly disappears as Linkai scoffs.
“No. You’re wearing cologne for once and don’t look oily. From just that, I know you’re going to meet Justin,” he says. “You usually smell like terrible B.O. and your hair looks dry. As for your project, you have it written on your calendar inside of a big red heart. I saw it when I went to steal the five bucks from your dresser earlier.” Chengcheng sputters, face red with embarrassment.
You swat Linkai’s shoulder. “Leave him alone,” you frown. “Don’t worry about him, Cheng. You always look and smell great to me!” you grin encouragingly before turning back to Linkai again to whisper yell. “He has a crush. Don’t tell me you’ve never gotten dressed up for somebody you liked.”
“Hey!” he says louder than you expected considering this was supposed to be a hushed conversation. “I’m wearing the jeans you said make my ass look fat,” he retorts. You simply roll your eyes before returning to Chengcheng. Once again, you’ve reminded not only Linkai but the world that you are denser than a book. He makes a face. “You expect me to read your mind and yet you never seem to be able to read mine,” he mutters under his breath, forcefully stabbing into his rice.
“What was that?” you turn back to him. He shakes his head, shoveling a load of food into his mouth to keep you from pressing. You thankfully don’t and once again, turn to Chengcheng. “I think you look amazing. Really. Go get him! He’ll be in your arms in no time!”
“Thanks, jiejie!” the dopey boy grins. “I’ll be on my way then. Be back tomorrow morning. Don’t have too much fun while I’m gone!” he winks. He’s out the door before Linkai can kill him (as if Linkai even had the energy to do so).
He’s too busy dissecting his meat to notice your cold stare. You have to clear your throat for him to look up and see your face. He groans, “What the hell did I do now?”
“You should be more supportive of Chengcheng.”
“More supportive? Any more supportive and I might as well just text Justin and say ‘Hey dinghead! Chengcheng is in love with you!’” he scoffs. “Honestly, it doesn’t get any more supportive than me.” He’s actually offended that you don’t think he’s all for Chengstin. Linkai is the vice president of the Chengstin fanclub, only coming second to You Zhangjing. “Who do you think always makes sure there’s ice cream in the fridge when Justin comes over? Who do you think hops off our shitty ass wifi when Justin comes to watches movies? Who the fuck ran across town just to fight with sneaker heads to get Justin the newest pair of shoes because Chengcheng was stuck in class? Have you ever had to fight a sneak head, YN? Have you?” His eyes are wild as if he’s seen some things he’d rather not talk about.
You sigh. “I just think you need to be nicer to him,” you shrug.
“Last week you told me not to let Chengcheng step all over me,” Linkai points his chopstick accusingly at you.
“Because you were deadass tired and up doing his laundry while he slept!” you exclaim.
Linkai snorts. You’re honestly a walking contradiction when it comes to him. “Just eat and be quiet. I’ve already got a headache. Don’t make my stomach upset too with all of your nonsense.”
“It’s not nonsense, Linkai!”
“If it’s coming from you, it is.” He shuts his foam to-go plate and stands to his feet before you could give him another earful. “I’m gonna go get a drink. Want anything? Water? A soda? A shot of vodka?”
“Ten more minutes with you makes the last option sound more appeasing than it should,” you pinch the bridge of your nose.
“Nobody is forcing you to be here,” he reminds you, patting your head as he walks away. When he returns, he’s made two pretty drinks and winks at you. Bottoms up, his eyes say.
“Really? Drinking on a Tuesday?” you scoff.
“Whether it’s a Tuesday afternoon or a Saturday night, you will always find a reason to complain,” he replies. You roll your eyes, taking a sip and feeling the alcohol burn down your throat. You grimace before setting it back down on the table. “So what do you wanna do now, hm? Watch a movie? Make me watch you online shop?”
“Maybe I could put make up on you and do your hair,” you suggest.
It’s his turn to roll his eyes. “You say that everyone elses’ boy friends do this for them and yet, I feel as though I’m the only one.”
“Boyfriend?” you repeat, completely disregarding anything else he had said.
“Boy. Space. Friends,” he says before leaning back onto his hands. “Why? Do you wanna remove the space in between us?” he wiggles his eyebrows before swooping in close to you, noses bumping. You freeze at this. “What?” he smirks when you don’t push him away like usual. “You actually thinking about kissing me this time?”
You scoff, shaking your head and moving away from him. “Wang Linkai,” you scoff again. “You really are something else. You know that? Kiss you? My best friend? I’d rather eat sand or-“ You stop, looking at him and seeing the way his eyes cast down for a second. “What?”
He looks back up. “Nothing,” he says before pulling himself to his feet again. He stretches his arms over his head and yawns. “Come. Let’s go shop. Or something. I don’t know.” He shakes his head and reaches for his drink. Maybe he shouldn’t have poured so much alcohol into his drink. One sip and he’s already a mess. “What?” He notices you still haven’t moved from your spot on the floor. “Hurry up and put on your jacket. Or do I have to so it for you?” He makes a swipe to grab your arm but you pull back, holding it against your chest. “YN, what?” he sighs, a bit annoyed. “Are you mad at what I just did? Look, I’m sorry. Let’s just-“
“Linkai,” you frown. “Why do you look so sad?”
“It’s nothing,” he replies, walking around and looking for his keys.
“It’s doesn’t seem like nothing to you.” Your words are careful, almost as if you’re trying to find the right wire to cut in order for the bomb not to explode. It’s always like that when the two of you argue this deeply. And sadly, it always ends with somebody crying.
“Because it’s never anything to you!” he throws a hand down dramatically. “So like. Let’s go because I’m not going to do this today!”
“Do what today?” you ask, standing to your feet. He shakes his head and makes it towards the door when you grab his arm. He instantly spins around and pins you against the wall, arms encasing you. You narrow your eyes at him. “What’s your deal?” you huff.
“It’s not even a bit obvious to you?” He’s smiling like a deviant. Like you’re just playing into one of his cold jokes. “Are you really that stupid?”
“What did I do to you?” you cross your arms.
“Everything,” he says, eyes casting downwards. You feel your heart starting to hammer as you realize he’s staring right at your lips. “You waltz into my life and make it absolute hell. You expect me to just know what’s on your mind. You expect me to just know what makes you happy and what makes you sad. You expect me to just know these things and I don’t and it makes me so tired and yet...” he laughs coldly. “And yet when I look at you, I want to be defeated. I want to fall at my knees at your mercy. It’s been like this since the day we met.” His hand slowly makes its way up to your cheek, cupping the glowy red flesh between his fingers. “C’mon, YN. How should it be? What do I have to do to make you like me as much as I like you?”
“Linkai, you idiot! If you liked me, you should’ve just told me!” you pout.
“And then you would’ve found something to complain about then as well,” he rolls his eyes. “Honestly, YN. Just lighten up with me sometimes. I’m trying.”
“You’re always trying,” you smile. “That’s what I like about you.”
“You wanna know a secret?” he asks, leaning in closely. “I only try his hard for you.”
And as his lips finally land on yours, you realize that this is exactly how it should have been all along.

Nine Percent Scenarios if they see someone being harassed in public
Tumblr media
Cai Xukun
Tumblr media
Alright, we all know that the guys from 9% are very respectful just to anyone; regardless the age, gender or race. Kun, was no exception. Despite being an only child, he knows what can happen in a day to day life. So, it wasn’t really a surprised that when he was taking the train to head somewhere and saw someone being harassed, he immediately stood up and called out the harasser, went over to the person being harassed and made sure they were alright. Bonus:
If the person that is being harassed turns out to be an ikun/nines, I definitely feel that Kun would not hesitate to throw a fit and would more than happy to comfort his ikuns/nines
“Hey! Hey! Don’t do that! You can’t just touch them just like that!! Have some respect!”
“Hey, you alright? That must’ve been scary for you. Don’t worry, they won’t bother you no more :)”
Chen Linong
Tumblr media
Nongnong may be a sweet, adorable, smiley person. But be aware that he will not hesitate if he sees someone in trouble. I feel that super Nongnong will definitely make an appearance; especially when it comes to harassing. Whether it is bullying or any form of harassment, I feel Nongnong will be the type to quietly observed first before making his move. I feel that Nongnong will definitely go for the more ‘please stop this’ move first before the ‘I said stop it unless you want me to call the police or hurt you’ kind of move.
Bonus:
If the one being harassed is a nines/nongtang, I’m sure Nongnong will definitely go for the second move in an instant and just like Kun, immediately comfort them, even going as far as staying with them until they feel safer.
“Hey! You shouldn’t do that! That’s not nice!”
“Are you alright? Has this happened before? Don’t worry, I’ll stay by until that person goes away”
Fan Chengcheng
Tumblr media
Chengcheng, I feel would definitely observed the situation first. He wouldn’t rashly “attack”. No, he wanted to make sure that the situation was indeed what he had thought because it’ll be awkward if he just butt in when in fact it was just a misunderstanding. However, if it was indeed the situation he had thought, he would slowly and silently butt in, tell the harasser off even giving them a cold/dark/harsh (throw in every dark words) look.
Bonus:
If the one being harassed is a nines/cheng stars, beware of his cold harsh gaze (gets it from Yanjun!!). He would definitely be braver in going physical. Like I feel that when he found out it was a fan of his and the harasser is provoking even more, Chengcheng will instantly go physical.
“OI!! Back off! I said, BACK OFF!!”
“Don’t worry, they won’t come back. If they do, you hurry go to a crowded place or call for emergency, alright? There, there, you’re ok”
Justin Huang Minghao
Tumblr media
Alright, despite Justin being the youngest, he knows his sheez. I feel that Justin would be similar to Chengcheng in the sense that he’ll observed first. And we all know how good Justin is at observing!! Like boi knows some of the smallest details!! But once he truly noticed the situation, he would not hesitate to move what’s so ever. Boi will even go as far as be physical right from the start!
Bonus:
If the one being harassed is a nines/NaNa, confirm, Justin gonna through a fit or even cause a scene. He wouldn’t even hesitate one bit even if he got hit whatsoever. If it gets rough or more people showed up, he might even call his geges from both NEX7 and 9%.
“I dare you to touch them again, C’MON!!”
“Are you ok? Where do you need to go? I can accompany you”
Lin Yanjun
Tumblr media
Ok, for Jun, I feel that despite in the Idol Producer episode he was definitely going for the subtle way of preventing a fight, when it comes to harassment, he will not go subtle. Nope, instead, boi doing a 180 and can instantly go physical, depending on the situation. If the harasser is a girl, he would try to be polite and tell them off but if they are persistent, he may throw in that RBF times 10 and his tone will definitely be more rude. However!! If the harasser is a guys, he won’t hesitate to budge in and push the guy away then leave with his cold, dark, scary, ‘leave or I’ll make you leave’ kinda look.
Bonus:
If the one being harassed is a nines/evanism, be prepared my friend cause he will make no exception. And let’s just say they are girls, boi has a little sister and he knows what can happen. He would most definitely not hesitate in going physical like pushing the harasser away or even throw in a punch or two.
“OI!! Stop what you’re doing? What? You really think that I wouldn’t notice? Leave, before I make you myself”
“Hey, there’s no need to be scared, they won’t bother you no more. Please be extra careful next time and don’t hesitate to shout for help”
Zhu Zhengting
Tumblr media
As we all know, the mama of the group is definitely, without question, mama Ting!! And he just always looks out for his loved ones like uwu (hubby goals!!). So, when he saw a situation that was what he think is, he would definitely go to their aid. He would either instantly stood in front of them or he would tell the harasser to back off then instantly helped out the one that got harassed.
Bonus:
If the one that got harassed is a nines/zheng zhungtang, his motherly side would instantly show like, he would scold the harasser, telling them they have no shame whatsoever.
“Back off before I call the authorities right now?”
“Hey, are you alright? You didn’t get hurt did you?”
Wang Ziyi
Tumblr media
Wang Ziyi may seem very tough and mind you, he is tough. But we know that he is actually a softie. Hence why I feel he would tell off the harasser as nicely and politely as possible first. But if they provoke him, he will definitely go a bit more harsh and will comfort the one that got harassed and even accompanied them until they say they are alright.
Bonus:
If the one that gets harassed is a nines/ISEE, I feel it’s be quite similar but Ziyi would definitely try his best to make them even more comfortable like asking them what song do they like, which performance is their favourite, etc.
“Please stop what you are doing. Do you not see that you’re making them uncomfortable?”
“Hey, are you alright? Oh, you like that? Me too! Hey, I’ll accompany you, don’t worry about it”
Xiao Gui (Wang Linkai)
Tumblr media
Xiao gui, I feel, it can go either way. If the situation wasn’t as intense, he would just step in and tell them off nicely. However, if it was a more “escalated” situation, Xiao gui wouldn’t be scared to go physical.
Bonus:
If the one that is being harassed is a nines/da lin, he would for sure go for the physical approach. Push the harasser off (if it was a girl, he would slowly tell them to back off before he calls someone) then makes sure that the ones being harassed is alright. Would even rap to cheer them up.
“Eyy eyy, stop that. Back off please. Don’t make me call the police or security”
“Eiyo, you alright there? I hope that didn’t bother you too much. Is alright, wasn’t a problem at all”
You Zhangjing
Tumblr media
Alright, we all know that despite being the “shortest” (ehem, 176cm short?!), Zhangjing can be savage af. I feel that he wouldn’t really dare to pick a fight so he would just tell them off as “nicely” as he can before threatening them to call security. However!! If let’s say he was already with security or maybe the other guys from 9%, he would not hesitate to go a bit more “savage” or “rude”. He would dare to be up in their faces if they went any further.
Bonus:
If the ones that are being harassed is a nines/xi you, Zhangjing would still be a bit scared to pick a fight but would definitely be more confident in standing up for his fans!!
“Hey! Leave them alone! I’ll call the security if you don’t!”
“Eh, are you ok? I know that was scary, but it’s alright now!! Do you want me to sing to help make you feel better? Or we can get food!!”

justin is a b a b y whAT IS THIS
youtube
Your lips and my lips
I can feel it more and more, the hot air in this place
Shivers travel all over my body
Now we’re gonna start our story.
The lights are dim, it smells like alcohol, and the sounds of drunk laughter and loud music blare in his ears.
Justin smiles.
This is when he feels alive.
The music pumps through his veins as he laughs and shouts with his friends, not touching the alcohol but watching other people get drunk. It’s mean, perhaps, but it’s a source of entertainment.
And Justin loves entertainment.
He’s looking around, laughing at something Zeren just said, when he sees you.
Your hair floats around your face, your head thrown back in a loud laugh that reaches Justin’s ears even across the noisy room. Your eyes are closed, a smile on your face, and though your movements are wild, they are controlled.
You don’t seem drunk, which makes Justin curious. He doesn’t drink- he mostly comes to parties to hang out and dance. But it’s rare that he sees someone who seems to be the same way.
Justin watches, eyes fixed on you, ignoring his friends. It feels like the world is in slow motion when you open your eyes, looking around, and finally rest your gaze on him.
The smile you toss isn’t flirty or suggestive. Rather, it’s fun and confident with just a touch of shyness, and before Justin knows it, he’s walking over to you.
Up close, you’re even more beautiful than he thought. His gaze strays to your lips, and a shiver runs up his spine.
“Hey,” he says, smirking slightly. “I’m Justin.”
Undaunted, you return the smirk, eyes flashing. “I’m Yanghui.”
“Yanghui,” he says, a smile tugging at his lips. “Pretty name for a pretty girl.”
Justin expects you to turn away, to cringe, to glare like everyone else does, but instead, you toss your head back and laugh, a loud and cheerful sound that has his heart pounding.
“You’ll have to do better than that, Justin,” you reply, eyes teasing. “I know a few people who could give you a run for your money.”
“Is that a challenge?” Justin raises an eyebrow.
You raise your own. “Only if you want it to be.”
The party is still going on, the music shaking the floor, drunken shouts filling the room, but even with all the noise, Justin can only focus on you.
“And if I do?” he asks, wetting his lips slightly. He doesn’t miss the way your eyes flit over the slight movement.
A slow, amused smile spreads across your face and you tap on your phone, pulling up your contacts app. You hold the device out to him.
“Then,” you laugh, “let’s see where the world takes us.”
I don’t know why, without knowing
I’m falling for you
Breathtakingly, baby
I don’t know why
This moment right now
I can’t stop this feeling no no no no
You’re not quite sure what possessed you to hand this new boy, Justin, your phone. You’re not quite sure what possessed you to get his number. You’re not quite sure where this is going to take you.
But what you are sure of is that Justin is breathtaking, that he is interesting, and that he leaves you wanting more, more, more.
More.
He taps in his number, the bright light illuminating his handsome features. And then he hands the phone back, smiling, before tossing you his.
You raise an eyebrow, holding it up. “You sure?” you ask one more time.
Justin smirks. “Yup.”
You laugh, tapping in your number. “I hope so.”
You save your contact, snapping a quick photo for your profile picture, before handing the phone back to Justin. And though you try to avoid touching him, your fingers brush his ever so slightly as he takes the device, and a tingle travels up your arm.
Heat snakes up your cheeks, and you will yourself to hold down the blush. “See you around, Justin,” you say, patting his shoulder before disappearing into the crowd.
 Make me feel so high
I’m going crazy, I can’t stop
You make me feel so high
I’m so crazy, the moment you look at me
I’m so attracted, pull me more, baby
I’m feelin’ so energetic
Tonight, just us two, out of control yeah
I’m feelin’ so energetic
It’s one in the morning. Any reasonable minor wouldn’t be out right now, which is why, despite his whining, Justin is being dragged home by Zhengting. He shuts up after a few minutes, though, walking briskly next to his elder friend.
Zhengting looks at Justin, confused as to why the boy isn’t pestering him like no tomorrow right now. He notes the faraway look in Justin’s eyes, the slight smile that plays at his lips.
Zhengting doesn’t know it, but Justin’s thinking about you.
He’s thinking about how your eyes flash with confidence, how your body moves with the beat of the music, how you throw your head back to laugh loudly. He’s thinking about how your fingers touched when you handed back his phone, how he gets lost in your gaze, how his heart jumped when you patted his shoulder before disappearing into the crowd.
Justin is enamored by the way you move, the way you speak, the way you just have this raw energy that gets everyone around you fired up in excitement.
You made Justin feel alive. You’re crazy, you’re wild, and yet you’re restrained just enough that you aren’t indecent.
Your voice rings through his ears.
“Then let’s see where the world takes us.”
Justin’s heart pounds, thinking of those words, thinking of the glint in your eyes when you spoke them. Any other person might have called you a flirt, but somehow, Justin doesn’t think so.
You’re not a flirt, you’re just… you. Friendly. Outgoing. Teasing. Energetic.
At least that’s as much as Justin gathered in the short time he spoke with you.
Zhengting raises an eyebrow when Justin doesn’t respond to his questioning looks.
“He’s gone crazy,” he mutters.
And honestly, Justin agrees.
Until the moment my heart stops
I’ll protect you, I won’t go away
This isn’t just a momentary promise
Now tell me baby
You tell me how to feel
You’re at another party, sitting at the bar. The bartender prepares a mixture of water in its solid and liquid forms for you with a relieved smile, stating that he’s glad someone’s taking care of themselves.
You shrug, taking a sip. “First off, I’m underage. I’m just the designated driver.” The bartender - Ruibin - looks at the large X on your hand before nodding. “Ah.”
“Also, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like the headache that came with being drunk,” you add. “I’d rather just have fun, then go home alert.”
“You seem sensible,” Ruibin says, smiling. “Keep your wits about you.”
Drunk customers come up to the bar and Ruibin hurries away to serve them, leaving you to sip at your water in peace. The atmosphere is energetic, and you nod your head with the beat as the music travels through your veins.
If only Justin were here, but he said he couldn’t make it today. You’d have someone to talk to. But no matter.
A smile spreads across your face. You feel good.
That is, you feel good until someone stumbles onto the stool next to you.
You glance over, disinterested, faced with a really, really drunk-looking guy who’s staring at you with a bit too much enthusiasm for your liking.
Immediately, warning bells go off in your head and you lean away, hands curling protectively around your cup.
“Hey,” he says drunkenly.
“Hi,” you reply cautiously.
“You’re pretty.”
“… Thanks?”
He just stares at you for a few long seconds, making you very uncomfortable. You kind of want to toss your water into his face.
“Want to go home with me?”
If there was a facial expression that equated to absolute disgust, that would accurately describe your face currently. You shake your head vehemently. “No!”
“Why not?” He leans closer and you nearly fall off the bar stool trying to get away. “You’d have a good time.”
“Didn’t she say she’s not interested?”
Surprise hits you, then relief, and you hop off the stool to stand next to Justin. His hand encircles your wrist protectively, glaring at the guy. “Leave her alone.”
Said guy scoffs. “You’d choose this scrawny rat over me?”
“Scrawny rat?!” Justin looks ready to fight.
You shoot him a warning look. “Yeah, I would,” you say to the guy before dragging Justin out of the bar.
“I thought you said you couldn’t make it today?” you ask once you’re outside, the fresh night air hitting your cheeks.
“My appointment got cancelled, so I figured I’d come.” Justin shrugs.
You smile. “Thank god you did, or I don’t know how that -” you jerk your head to the bar - “would have escalated.”
Justin just kind looks down, embarrassed. Your smile grows wider, and your heart thumps.
It’s cute seeing the flirty boy getting embarrassed.
“Come on, let’s get out of here for a bit,” you say impulsively, tugging on his arm.
“Aren’t you the designated driver for your friends though?” Justin asks, looking down at your hand.
“We can just walk around,” you say. “They won’t be out for another hour at least.”
With that, Justin agrees, and you walk with him in the cool night air.
Uh 1 2 3 and 4, don’t like those other guys next to you
Who am I? A killer who only protects you
Just like that, I kill it, yeah
“You should be more careful,” Justin admonishes. “Who knows what could’ve happened if I wasn’t there?”
“I would’ve disappeared - I’m good at that -” you retort, “or I would’ve called the bartender over. He was a nice guy.”
Justin’s eye twitches.
Nice guy.
“And anyway,” you continue, unaware of Justin’s jealousy, “you’re starting to sound like Zhengting.” You make a face.
Despite his prior feelings, Justin can’t help but laugh. “He’s finally rubbing off on you,” you say in mock disgust. “My god.”
You look over at Justin, who’s still not completely adept at hiding his feelings. “Jealous?” you tease, smirking.
Justin chokes on air. “Jealous? What are you talking about?” he scoffs. “As if.”
Yeah, he’s jealous. But he’d rather die than admit it.
Your raised eyebrow tells him you see through his weak deceptions, and he rolls his eyes in response. “Okay, so what if I was?” he asks childishly. “I’d rather keep you to myself.”
You throw your head back and laugh, the sound echoing in the dark streets. Justin loves it. “There’s no need to be jealous, Justin,” you say. “I wouldn’t go with any other guy except you.”
“Not even Zhengting? Or Chengcheng?” he teases.
“Zhengting? Are you crazy?” You snort in disbelief. “He’d probably make me wear ten jackets if we went out together. He’d nag me the whole way there, wherever we were going. And Chengcheng would eat all my food.”
“I eat all your food,” Justin points out.
“No need to remind me,” you grumble. “But you eat less than Chengcheng, so it’s a little more okay.”
See, it’s moments like this where Justin looks at you in your natural, confident glory and wonders just why you ended up being friends with him. He’s blessed, truly, though he’d probably never actually say that to your face.
“Something on my face?” Your voice brings Justin out of his daze, reminding him that he’s been staring at you for at least a minute straight.
Great, Yanjun’s rubbing off on me.
“Just your beauty,” he teases.
Justin wants to believe that’s a blush on your face when you laugh and hit him, but it’s too dark for him to actually tell.
Still, he can hope.
I’ll hold you in my arms and be on alert
But throw your worries to the basement
Whatever we do, we are one now
That word will linger around our ears
You hug yourself, trying to replicate the feeling of Justin’s arms wrapped snugly around you.
You fail.
A sigh escapes your lips and you fall backwards onto your bed. “Why?” you whisper.
Why do you feel this way when Justin isn’t around?
Why do you feel so happy when Justin is around?
Oh, right, it’s because you like him so much you want to spend your every waking moment with him.
“Fuck,” you complain to the dark room. You have no worries about anyone hearing you, because your parents aren’t home and won’t be until next week.
Workaholics.
You roll over, wrapping the blankets around you until you’re huddled into a tight burrito. “I wish he was here,” you murmur.
When Justin’s around, you feel free. Your worries seem to fade from existence. You can laugh, you can cry, you can be you.
But when you’re in this house…
You sigh again. Perhaps it’s bad of you to say this, but you really, really dislike your parents. You could probably say you hate them.
“Always making me shut up in their presence because they’re so tired…” you mutter. “But why are they tired? Always fucking working.”
They never have time for you. And it’s not even that you’re poor. You’re rather well off.
They’re just married to their fucking jobs.
You snort. “A polyamorous relationship between my parents and their jobs.”
Your phone buzzes with a text.
From: Huang Minghao
You up?
You smile, sitting up.
To: Huang Minghao
Yeah. Anything wrong?
From: Huang Minghao
No. Just figured you couldn’t sleep again.
“Boyfriend material,” you laugh.
What, are you supposed to be ashamed to admit it? You definitely wish Justin was your boyfriend. Despite only having known him for half a year, you can confidently say you are head over heels for this boy.
But though you’re not afraid to admit it to yourself… well, admitting it to Justin is something completely different.
You’re confident. Or at least you act like it. But like everyone else, you’ve got a lot of hidden insecurities that aren’t letting you confess just yet.
Honestly, you’d probably end up being one of those girls who confesses their love when they’re drunk. Or when their tongue is loose from lack of sleep or something. You snort.
Then something hits your window. You whip your head around, squinting in the darkness before flipping on a lamp. Another clack sounds, and you look outside.
Your jaw drops.
 Make me feel so high
I’m going crazy, I can’t stop
You make me feel so high
I’m so crazy, the moment you look at me
I’m so attracted, pull me more, baby
I’m feelin’ so energetic
Tonight, just us two, out of control yeah
I’m feelin’ so energetic
Within minutes, you’re dressed and outside the house, berating the boy for being so conspicuous while he just grins and holds you close. Eventually you run out of breath, choosing to simply lean into his side.
“Why did you come?” you ask.
“I was attracted to you,” he replies cheekily. “We’re like opposite poles. I couldn’t stay away.”
You snicker, slapping his arm. There’s a little silence.
“So what do we do now?” Justin finally asks.
You scowl. “Shouldn’t you answer that question? You’re the one that came here.”
“I didn’t really think this part through,” he admits, running a hand through his hair. You roll your eyes and shake your head, half-laughing. “We could go up to the rooftop?”
“Sounds good.” Justin grins, his smile brighter than the moonlight. “Lead the way.”
 I’m feelin’ good
I wanna touch
This unstoppable feeling is like freedom
I’m feelin’ good
I wanna touch baby
Hurry and come to me tonight yeah
It’s a clear night, with few clouds obscuring the moon and the stars. You spread a blanket and sit down, patting the area next to you.
Justin slides an arm around your waist and leans his head on your shoulder as he sits. “Are your parents still not home?” he asks.
You roll your eyes, a cynical smirk twisting your lips. “Won’t be until next week.”
Justin’s heart feels for you. He’s not too good with words, so his grip on your waist just tightens a little to remind you he’s there. You smile a little more genuinely, and he feels a little more at ease.
“Doesn’t matter,” you say. “I don’t care about them.”
“That’s a good mindset to have.” Justin nods approvingly.
“Not caring about my parents?” You raise your eyebrows. “A lot of people would disagree.”
“Well, I’m not a lot of people,” he shoots back, pushing your head. “And you know what I mean. It’s a good mindset to not care about those who don’t care about you.”
You nod. Then there’s a short silence.
“Enough deep shit,” Justin finally says, tugging out his phone. “Let’s dance.”
“On a rooftop?”
Justin nods.
“At night?”
“It’s technically morning.”
“Fine. In the dark?”
He nods again.
A smirk spreads across your face. “I like the way you think, Justin.”
 Alright
Uh huh, work your body
Come it’s time to have fun, let’s dance
Even if your nice shoes get dirty
Move it, quickly, hurry up
Justin’s phone isn’t the loudest source of music, but you don’t mind. In contrast to all those parties you’ve been to where the music is so loud you can feel the ground trembling, this is much more intimate. You like it.
You and Justin move your bodies weirdly, slipping over the roof tiles in the dark, falling into the blanket, laughing with abandon as the hours pass. It’s so stupid, the way you two are ‘dancing,’ but that just makes everything better. Sweat sticks your hair to your face and your shoes get dirty from the grime of the dirty roof, but it’s all okay. You’re having fun. Despite it being late at night when you should be sleeping, Justin energizes you, makes you able to laugh, able to dance to just one more song.
Too soon, the sky is gray and the first light of dawn is peeking over the horizon. A slower ballad is playing on Justin’s phone, and you sway around with him, your hands on his shoulders, his hands on your waist.
You’re in a sort of sleepy stupor due to the slow music and the fact that you haven’t slept all night. Your tongue is loose, so you don’t realize the magnitude of your words (at first) when you ask, “Justin, do you care about me?”
Almost immediately you’re alert.
Fuck.
You knew it. You are one of those girls who confess things when your tongue is loose. You kind of want to tip yourself off of the roof.
There’s a silence in which you feel waves of shock radiating off of Justin and waves of embarrassment radiating off of you. “Forget I said anything,” you mumble, trying to pull away. Justin doesn’t let you, though.
“W-why did you ask that?” Justin asks just a little too loudly.
Your mind goes into overdrive. Does his loud voice mean he’s not interested? Or is he just surprised? Fuck, you really shouldn’t have said anything.
“Just, uh…” You stumble on your words, unsure what to say. “I… um… you told me I shouldn’t care about people who don’t care about me.”
Justin nods slowly. You continue.
“But I care about you a little too much.” You swallow hard. “So… tell me now. Do you care for me in the way I care for you? So I don’t have to stay in the dark.”
Silence.
You bite your lip. “I get it if you don’t,” you whisper. “It’s okay-”
“Hey, let me talk first, okay?” Justin’s voice is uncharacteristically gentle. “First, where did the confident Yanghui I knew go? Smile for me.”
You do your best to lift the corners of your mouth into a slight smile.
“That’s better.” Justin coughs, a tint of red covering his cheeks. “If the way you care for me is in the… romantic sense, then I care for you in the same way.”
You can hardly believe you’re hearing him say this. “Really?” you whisper. Your heart feels like it’s going to thud out of your chest.
“Really,” Justin confirms.
(You make me feel so high)
Ask questions later
So other guys can’t look at you
(I can’t stop)
So anyone can see that we make it so cool
Let’s start now, you know I mean
As the gray light of dawn turns into a rosy pink, Justin pulls you down on the blanket again, allowing you to snuggle into his side. You drift in and out of sleep, lulled by the way his thumb rubs circles at your waist, the way he plays softly with your hair.
He looks at you, blushing and smiling. Thank god you can’t see him right now, or you’d tease him forever.
How could he not care for you? With the way you pull him in, the way you energize him? It feels as though you’re his life source, and though he knows he’s young, he doesn’t think he’d mind being with you forever.
“Let’s go inside,” you whisper, eyes still closed.
Justin’s forehead creases. “Is anyone going to be upset that I’m there?”
You open your eyes slightly, looking up at him. “Hell no. My parents aren’t home, and the only other person home is our hired help who keeps telling me I need more friends. She’ll be ecstatic to see you.”
Justin laughs. Only you could still manage to be this snappy when you’re tired.
“Alright then,” he says, pulling you up. He wads the blanket under his arm, whirling you around to face him. “Let’s go.”
“Wait,” you murmur, looking up. “Look.” You point at the pink sky. “It’s so pretty!”
Not as pretty as you. The pickup line runs through Justin’s mind, but he refrains from saying it so as not to ruin the scene in front of him.
And you look so beautiful, standing against the rose-streaked backdrop of the horizon, that Justin can’t help but pull you in for a kiss.
I’m so attracted, pull me more, baby
I’m feelin’ so energetic
Tonight, just us two, out of control, yeah

A Cup Of What? || Huang Justin
A/N : writing this whilst drinking coffee, if you are wondering. I got so into it, I kinda forgot I was suppose to post this an hour ago.
Requested : No (ask box is open btw, and my WIP is dry af)
Tumblr media
Pairing : Huang Justin - Reader
Genre : fluff + flustered Justin *which is cute*
Summary : A warm cup of coffee can change a lot, especially for a flustered baby.
————•————
Justin hummed in adoration, he stared at you from across of the room. Quanzhe could feel his stare penetrating flowers all over him.
You may not noticed, too engrosed styling Zhengting’s hair that is not so coorperative today.
“Ge, she’s so pretty”, he sighed one more time. Chengcheng stared at the younger, his eyes judging him.
Justin Huang, or Huang MingHao is officially in love with you. Believe it or not, his interest got the best of him the moment one of the senior stylist brought you in, introducing you to everyone as the new girl that’s joining the team.
So officially, Justin had been interested in you for 3 months. At first it was small glances, curious glances.
He would study you a little, taking your features. You’re stil considered young to be considered a professional stylist. But your work speaks otherwise.
You have a passion for fashion and art, and what better way on combining it? That’s right, a stylist.
You always love the feeling of making people feel beautiful, and you always love painting them. You love making transformation, big or small.
And Justin admired you for that. Despite having a big talent, you always shy away and stay humble. Saying your work still needs improvement.
He kept staring at you as you sprayed some hair spray on Zhengting’s hair. Mumbling to yourself how annoying his hair is, not wanting to stay in place.
Chencheng stared at the younger and sighed. “If you like her that much, why don’t you ask her out?”
And boy, Chengcheng had never seen such red face on anyone in his life before.
Justin Huang was blusing.
Hard
Quanzhe just shakes his head and continued reading his book. “Stop it, ge! That’s like you’re asking me to marry your sister!”, Justin replied, hissing at Chengcheng.
Which earns a smack from Chengcheng.
Justin yelped too loud making head turns, making Zhengting’s turn, which made you turn to stare at him.
When he caught your stare, he swore he could explode into millions of stardusts. Why is your eyes so mesmerizing and so beautiful, its killing him.
His daze didn’t last long before Zhengting’s inner Mom came out of him, barking at Chengcheng and Justin. Surprising all of you.
“Be nice!”, Zhengting whipped his head to you and smiled. “Am i done?”, you laughed. Justin swore he thinks he is hearing angels singing.
“Not yet, Ting. Your hair won’t stay in place”, you said proceeding to take a comb and hairspray. “Maybe it’s hungry!”, Zhengting said out of sense.
You laughed harder. “Ting, that doesn’t make any sense.”, making him pout. “But i am hungry”, he sulked. You smiled softly, being around the same age with them got you easier to talk and joke around with them.
“How bout, you go eat and let someone take your place?”, you didn’t have to wait long. Because the moment Zhengting stood up, you saw Justin being thrown by Chengcheng to your station.
You jumped a little, while Justin is still in his daze registering how he teleported. “You came in fast, Minghao”, you smiled at the younger one.
He snaps his gaze to you and laugh awkwardly. You didn’t waste any more time and started your work.
He became all soft noticing how you always call him using his real name instead of his stage name. He once asked why, and you plainly said-
“It’s a nice name, why should you hide it?”
Aside of his favorite time on stage, this was his favorite moment. He always managed to get himself all polished with you, only you. No one else.
You
He felt familiar with your touches, and it put his heart on ease. And this is the only time where he can be so close to you with an important reason.
“You’re getting really popular these days”, you tried starting a converstation with him. He almost jumped when you spoke.
“Y-yea, it’s nerve-wrecking”, you hummed as you applied lip coloring on him.
Which mean you’re being in a really close proximity with him
Which mean Justin had to keep himself from having a nosebleed heartattack by your beauty
“I’m gonna start on your hair now”, Justin didn’t realized he was holding his breath. He took a big breath and huffed away. Nodding vigorously.
You giggled a little. “Any request?”, you ask him. Staring at him from the mirror, you wait.
Justin being a flustered baby, he blurted out without thinking”
“You”
This catched you off guard. You stared at him wide eyed. Justin was a mess, he’s screaming internallyvat how dumb can he get. Figuring out how to fix the situation.
“Hey, Y/N”, you saw Zhengting calling. He held up a cup of coffee. You smiled in gratefulness, finally being able to get a dose of caffeine.
“Thank you, Zhengting”, you said as you walked to his side. Justin was still thinking how to make the conversation less awkward, not noticing you slipping away.
You were about to take the coffee from Zhengting, before the tall guy tripped. Stumbling and grip loosen on the cup
It happened too fast.
You were about to catch the cup, but it was already too late anyways. The cap is open, liquid spilling out.
A gasp came out of your lips, everyone in the room soon panicked.
Justin, Huang Justin. The contestant of Idol Producer who managed to steal all hearts from young to older woman to vote for him. That talented kid who can dance and rap was now done for.
Justin didn’t know what happened.
But
Justin felt like being slapped by liquid, warm liquid. He broke his trance. Justin stared at himself. Horror masking his face.
Then he screams
If there is a top 3 screaming contest in Yuehua, you would gladly nominate Justin. Because right now his scream is between a state of a dying dolphin and a choked crow.
It was a mess, a big mess
Taking responsibility, you grab his hand and drags him to the changing room. Justin was too busy freaking out to notice he is being held by you.
Zhengting whipped his head staring down at the culprit, he glared at Chengcheng. Chengcheng just took his outstretched leg back and stare at his mother. Acting confusion.
“Wopsie?”, Chengcheng fake shrugs, earning a loud smack from Zhengting.
“Not the face, Ge!!! NOT THE FACE!!”
You grabbed a towel and quickly drys Justin, you didn’t mind your work going to waste. It doesn’t matter right now
“Are you hurt?”, you checks every side of his face for any burn. Justin noticing the situation, blushed.
You noticing his red face, grew more worried. “Did you burn yourself?! Oh god, we need to go to get you checked and-“
“No!”, Justin yelled making you cringed. He clears his throat awkwardly. “It’s okay, I’m okay”, he said still trying to recover himself from his blushing state
“Are you sure?”, still unsure. Justin took a deep breath. “Yes, I am sure”, Justin choked.
“I am far than okay, especially after you already helped me dry myself. I am completely okay, the coffee wasn’t even that hot! Hell, its not even as hot as you-“, Justin stared at himself in horror
You wide eyed stared at him back, shocked. “I am so screwed”, Justin cursed himself kneeling, flustered
“Minghao?”, Justin stared at you. “Want to talk about what’s in your mind?”
Justin stared at you, uncertain written in his eyes. “I won’t run, Hao. I promise”, you reassured
“I-“, he choked out before he stops. He sighs, clearing his throat.
“I like you, a lot. And I know it’s been only like 3 months that you came, but I am sincere. I like you a lot, and I realized how dumb I can get until I was a flustered mess. Gosh, you probably won’t date such a dork, I’ll just-“
“Minghao”, you snaps him out of his rambles. You laughed a little. “Relax, you were rapping and it’s not even recorded yet”, you tried to joke.
Justin blushed more, feeling embarrassed. You cleared your throat, gaining his attention again.
“You know, this is such a worst timing for you to confess”, you started.
Justin swore he heard his heart breaks a little. Is this it? Rejection right in spot? Can he run away and never come back? Can he-
“Yea, you’re right”, he said dejected. You smiled.
“No, you dork. I meant, we need to get yourself polished. You’re a mess right now, what would your fans do if you go on stage like this?”, you gestures his state
Justin processing the situation, registering what you meant. He smiled.
“You mean, you’re not rejecting me?!”
“Why would I?”, you opened the door. “Come one, Minghao. After the show, let’s get some coffee and talk about it”, you smiled
Justin all giddy and mushed could only nod. You should know how happy he is. This is the best day of his life. He got his girl.
And all that was sacrificed was a cup of coffee
