I don’t ship Eddie x Steve because I simply feel that Billy needs Steve more. Eddie is pretty confident and doesn’t strike me as someone who would struggle with emotion or coming out, whereas Billy needs all the goddamn support he can get. He needs a good role model and a loving person in his life because he really has nobody at all. I do think that being with Steve would teach Billy a lot. Plus his and Steve’s onscreen chemistry was waaaayy more palpable than Steve x Eddie. I prefer to ship Eddie with Chrissy, and Eddie is still bisexual lol. But that ship is painful enough and I like to drown in those what ifs more than creating my own purely speculative ship hehe.
