ok but like. Im thinking about some zolu sort-of-angst. 

zoro pines and pines after luffy. other people tell zoro that luffy seems super attached to him too, maybe his feelings aren't as unrequited as he believes, but zoro knows it just doesn't click the same for luffy. he eventually very discreetly asks luffy about it, about the love he has for his friends and for people in general, and luffy tells him that he really never thinks about that stuff. luffy doesn't care about romance, never has and never will. 

so zoro doesnt tell luffy about his feelings. zoro just makes his peace with it and he keeps on loving luffy the same as he always has. it hurts a little to know they aren't on the same page, but luffy loves so deeply even if it isnt romantic. no matter what, romantic feelings or not, zoro and luffy are unquestionably loyal to each other. 

all zoro really cares about is having luffy in his life, and if sometimes he stares at his lips for a second too long then who cares. he just wants luffy to stay by his side, and he knows luffy wants that too

zoros feelings won’t ever be requited in the same way, but he gets luffys all consuming love through their friendship and that is enough. luffys happiness brings him happiness, so zoro stays content even while staring down what may break a weaker man’s heart

One thing I really really like about Percy and Vax is the fact that despite making the single greatest mistake anyone could make in Vax's eyes, harming his sister, and despite the fact that Percy was resigned to Vax hating him for forever with no pushback, no advocating for himself, Percy still did so very right by Vex every single time the opportunity presented itself, cherished her so utterly and shored her up in a way only Vax has done previously. All that to make Vax, a man not quick to changing his opinion once made, trust him even immediately afterwards with her, with Vox Machina, even after the behavior Percy displayed during the Briarwood arc, even with the burden of championship heavy on his shoulders Vax never stopped trusting Percy to provide for their little family, no matter how mad he was, and Percy was not looking for his forgiveness and earned it back in spades anyway. I think Vax is even a little surprised by how serious Percy is about Vex even before they officially got together. Pleased though, to know that she'll be well taken care of wherever her heart takes her.

I dunno, something about that little redemption arc makes me so emotional cuz one of their greatest bonds, their core tenants, -Vox Machina and more importantly the woman with the most severe case of imposter syndrome I've ever seen besides Keyleth- mended what would have been irreparably destroyed otherwise. That inherent trust undercuts every snippy moment Vax and Percy ever have, that runs deeper than blood. Vax tells him without ever saying a word that Percy is his brother, for ever and always, no matter what and not because he's dating his sister but because he's loving her as she's meant to be loved.
