Literally every single Bridgerton in unison: because you literally made every wrong decision last season by some grace Kate still married you so this is the *least* you can do
Anthony: fine 😐😒 *mumbles* i hate this family
Later--
Anthony: hey, Colin, little brother, I have some advice
Colin, staring daggers and cracking knuckles at seeing Lord Debling with Penelope: what
Anthony: hey, um, maybe don't do what you are doing right now
Colin, still glaring: why not? You did the same thing when Kate was on that boat ride with Mr. Dorset
Anthony, sputtering: what do you mean- not the point. Alternatively you could just tell Penelope how you feel.
Colin, still in Full Denial™️ Mode: what no, I'm just helping Pen with finding a husband
Anthony, sighing: it's your funeral
Anthony, mumbling: did you learn anything from me last season. No one can say I didn't try
Later--
Anthony, thinking out loud: was I really that blind to how in denial I was??
Literally every single Bridgerton in unison: YES
Daphne from Hastings House: YES, YOU WERE. I TRIED TELLING YOU
Gotta thank BRIDGERTON like I could never give them a 10 because I don’t like them at all actualy but the way they keep giving me/us Simone Ashley in Vogue covers first British Vogue for s2 promo for her season and now India cover for the polin season both her country vogue covers oh they know she’s MOTHER!! I love it so much!
I don't get why Bridgerton season 2 chose to do a love triangle that pitted 2 sisters against each other over a man when that does not happen in the book. TVWLM is enemies to lovers. Why didn't the show stick to just the enemies to lovers trope??
Had a thought, now I'm confused. Alanis Morissette's slowed regency version of 'Oughta Know' might be the reason some people are Kate antis because they think the lyrics are from her perspective. She isn't racist, in fact she's part of a coalition FOR black people. SR has internalized racism though. That music video Alanis did for her song, why put so much effort into that?
Simone Ashley on the cover the May/June issue of Vogue India. Photgraphed by Rid Burman. Interview by Anoushka Shankar.
She was catapulted into the stratosphere as Bridgerton’s leading lady in 2022, but Simone Ashley is quite enjoying the descent as the spotlight shifts to a new couple this season. Speaking with Grammy Award nominee and fellow South Asian artiste Anoushka Shankar, she reflects on navigating fame, where she’s headed next and if her path will lead her to India.
