HERE’S WHAT YOU MISSED THIS WEEK (8.24-8.30.22):
NEW MUSIC:
Cleopatrick shared a new song titled “OK,” which was produced in the back of the band’s van while on tour. The band also released a content film, recorded at their sold-out Toronto show at Danforth Music Hall.
Story of the Year released a new song titled “Real Life.” The song is a nod to their earlier sound, evoking the same emotion and energy as their album Page Avenue.
Pinkshift shared another new track off their upcoming debut album Love Me Forever titled “Get Out.” Their new album is set to drop on October 21 via Hopeless Records.
Scene Queen collaborated on a new track with Set It Off’s Cody Carson titled “Barbie & Ken.” The song follows on from the former singer’s previous single “Pink G-String.”
nothing,nowhere. shared a new song titled “M1sery_Syndrome” featuring Senses Fail’s Buddy Nielsen. The song follows on from the former artist’s previous single “Memory_Fracture.”
L.S. Dunes, the supergroup containing members of Circa Survive, My Chemical Romance, Coheed and Cambria and Thursday, announced their debut album. Past Lives will be released on November 11 via Fantasy Records.
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Radio 1’s Live Lounge Month announced their lineup for this year’s event. Returning to the stage will be Yungblud, following his appearance last year, as well as newcomers Willow and Nova Twins making their debuts.
Neck Deep announced a string of intimate performances across the United States to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their EPs Rain in July and A History of Bad Decisions. The shows kick off in Anaheim on October 25 and end in Philadelphia on November 4.
Slam Dunk Festival announced 22 bands for their 2023 event. The acts include Enter Shikari, The Offspring, Creeper, Billy Talent and Four Year Strong, as well as reunion shows from Kids in Glass Houses and The Academy Is...
OTHER NEWS:
As It Is announced that they have parted ways with bassist Alistair Testo. Ali joined the band back in 2014 and has played on all of the band's full-length albums since.
Evanescence’s classic track “Bring Me to Life” is back at No. 1 on the iTunes Chart in the United States over 19 years after release. The song picked up such traction due to it trending on TikTok, where it has been used in over 200K videos.

NEW MUSIC:
Bowling for Soup shared a new song and music video for the track “Hello Anxiety.” The song is taken from the band’s recent record Pop Drunk Snot Bread, released earlier this year.
Cleopatrick announced the details of a brand new EP titled Doom. The EP will be released on October 21 and features their new song “OK.”
Skyler Acord, who you will know from Issues and more recently Twenty One Pilots, launched his solo career. The musician dropped a new track titled “Knew It All Along.”
Paramore announced the details of their upcoming album titled This is Why, which will be released on February 10, 2023 via Atlantic Records. The band also released its title track with a music video, also performing the track live in Bakersfield, California.
Goalkeeper shared a new track titled “Car Wreck,” which follows on from their previous single “Sooner.” Both songs will appear on the band’s upcoming record I Wish I Met You Sooner, dropping on October 28.
Meet Me @ the Altar gave fans a taste of what to expect from their upcoming debut album with latest single “Say It (To My Face).” The accompanying music video pays homage to MTV promos from the 2000s.
The Maine dropped a brand new acoustic single, “Box in a Heart,” featuring Renforshort. The band recently held their Lovely Little Weekend event at Pier 17 in New York this past weekend.
Pierce the Veil dropped the music video for their recent single “Pass the Nirvana.” the song marks the band’s first new song in six years.
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
YUNGBLUD was a part of the halftime show at a recent NFL game in the United Kingdom. The game took place this past Sunday between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Nova Twins made an appearance in the Radio 1 Live Lounge for the very first time to perform a cover of Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul.” They also performed their own track “Choose Your Fighter.”

WILLOW used her time in the Radio 1 Live Lounge to cover her close friend YUNGBLUD’s song “The Funeral.” The singer also performed her recent track “Curious/Furious.”
L.S. Dunes announced they will be making their United Kingdom debut at the start of 2023 with a set of shows. The shows kick off in Glasgow on January 27 and end in Birmingham on January 30.
OTHER NEWS:
Foo Fighters’ song “Times Like These” is now certified Platinum in the United Kingdom. The band have two multi-platinum tracks in the UK as well, “The Pretender” and “Everlong,” which are both 2x Platinum.
Two-thirds of FEVER 333 announced their departure from the band, leaving Jason Aalon Butler currently as the sole member. The pair have been with the band since their inception in 2017, playing on every one of their releases.
The full list of songs set to appear on the upcoming EA NHL 23 game was announced. Featured on the soundtrack will be A Day to Remember, Coheed and Cambria, Games We Play, Mod Sun, Motionless in White, PUP, Real Friends and much more.

The L.S.Dunes thing is extremely disappointing and yeah I don't like the use of AI art at all. It is art theft and hurts human artists, butttt
Don't send the band death threats. Like come on that makes you an asshole. Your doing nothing to educate them or remedy the situation.
They may be giving some hot takes and doubling down on the AI stuff is disappointing but holy shit I cannot stress enough that you are even more of a dick if your sending death threats. If you wanna say something, educate, express your disappointment. But don't tell anyone, especially people who have struggled with mental health before, to Off themselves. That's just fucked
