1. greyllery kiss in episode 8. this is their first mutual kiss after two one-sided kisses, three almost kisses, three cheek kisses, and one forehead kiss. not to mention the hugs, the cuddles, the promises, the sleeping in the same bed, the taking a bath together, and i could go on but imma stop here before i get involuntary committed. we waited so long for this kiss and when it finally happened it was everything we could have ever asked for and MORE: the confession, the music, the parallels with the glasshouse kiss, the fact that it happens when the lights are out because they love each other for who they really are and not for the body they inhabit, puen's single tear......IT'S PERFECT.
2. glasshouse kiss in episode 4. i know having a one-sided kiss for second place doesn't seem fair but in my defense this kiss makes me go through such a plethora of human emotions that i feel like i need to go lay in the dirt for several hours to climb down from the sheer manic unhinged rabid energies that got me going on. y’all must be tired of hearing me say the same things over and over again about this kiss but. the build up!!!!!! the emotions!!!!!! the music!!!!!! 4. foggy glasses kiss in episode 12. honestly can't think of any other scene in television history that was able to so perfectly portray a fictional character being left breathless, lightheaded, and weak at the knees by a kiss. the way puen is holding talay's head with BOTH OF HIS HANDS to keep talay in place which barely gives talay any time to take a breath...... the way they're so close and entangled in each other that you can barely tell where one starts and the other ends...........this kiss literally be turning both me and talay into the 🥴 emoji every single time.

2. comfort hug in episode 6. my grasp on the english language is too limited to even attempt to put into words what this hug did to me the first time i've watched it. it made me mentally deranged in ways so profound they will only become apparent years down the line. to this day there are people out there wondering why talay even likes puen and the urge to shove this scene under their nose is immeasurable. Since I decided the best way to make it through Our Skyy 2 with minimal damage is to drink my way through it, welcome to the fourth round of

This week's drink is Purple Pair for these color-coded boys in love:
Absolut vodka because vodka is my least favorite liquor (just like this show), but Absolut since much like this company, I'm gonna support my fellow queers no matter what
cranberry juice for Puen's pink(ish)
curaçao for Talay's blue
lavender syrup and rock candy on the rim for the wild switcheroo between calm and chaos
Last week's preview got me very excited for this installment to see these two be dads, but because I love spoilers, I already know I'm gonna be pissed, so . . . (-_-)

TALAY WASN'T THERE FOR PUEN'S BIRTHDAY?! We are starting with violence!
They can't go on this trip because of Puen, but it started with me being upset at Talay. I see we are also sticking to deceit.
During finals, I put a sign on my door of Drake's "Hotline Bling" stating: "Visiting without a prior appointment" vs. "Emailing me" because people be bold just popping in. I relate to Talay in his tent.
Puen started off by wearing fading pink, but now they are both wearing Talay's blue. If they both end wearing pink, I'll be happy.
This is disgustingly cute, but I can't even enjoy this because I know what nonsense is going to happen.
I'm obsessed with IKEA and Buc-ee's, so I will not judge Puen making it rain Lay's on his man. I don't need to understand it. I respect it.
We constantly mentioned how Vice Versa was snagging all the product placements, so The Eclipse could exist, but VV got Lay's money and YAMAHA?! This show was making bank! Because I keep seeing the Gran Turismo trailer, cue Nas x P. Diddy's "Hate Me Now" - You wanna hate me then hate me, what can I do but keep gettin' money
I'm upset! This shit is cute! Yet, it's gonna get fucked up BY LIES!
I don't know why it didn't register during the previews, but they really threw this kid out in the middle of a rainy night to kickstart these shenanigans! In the words of the best gay pirates, "The Fuckery"
Puen not wanting Jigsaw to feel alone because he felt alone all his life would be touching if not for the LIES!
I have been done with this drink since part one, and I'm getting more upset with each passing minute.
I can't wrap my head about Neo. Not even thinking about Kan when he appears on the screen even though I just saw him last week in The Eclipse. This man is going to be the best slutty villain in Only Friends. I feel it!

Tane in Our Dining Table and Jigsaw are two of the cutest children who deserve all the stuffed animals and all the hugs.

I'm seeing red after this installment because this would have been a solid 9/10 if it weren't for the lie. I'm in my Our Dining Table feels, so seeing two men with a kid would have made this the best Our Skyy 2's episodes so far, yet it fumbled in the final stretch and flipped the tables, which means I have to flip the score.
6/10 CockTails for making me fall in love with a plot that never existed, but still funding the entire Our Skyy 2 series with its product placements.
Now I have to prepare for the singing in a show about singing when for the past four weeks, all I've gotten is singing. Thankfully, Fourth will wear glasses, and Mark will make an appearance.

Okay, I am on record for not liking Vice Versa. I didn't like Puen trapping Talay in the other world, and wished they'd just made a show about how hard it is to pitch an idea. Anyway. Let's give this a shake.
Oh great. He blew out the candle by himself so I don't know what world Puen is in.
I can make it through this. My School President is next week.
Okay, they're in our world, and it's been five years now. I am interested in long-term couples.
At least we get to see Neo again this week!
Okay, the problems they're having are normal ones. They're both busy professionals, and work has gotten in the way of their romance. Puen feels a bit despondent that they haven't spoken much lately.
Why the hell is Talay doing graphic design work in a tent on the lawn???
I like these two taking time to do cute date stuff together and rebuild their romance.
Ah yes. They are the Lays couple now.
If you're going to eat food outside and watch a movie, you need to top the "Let's give them a show" scene from Gameboys 2. This was not it.

oh i will talk fandom with you because puentalay run circles in my mind all day everyday and i need to let them out but idk how.
puen has personality of biggest loser but luck of thousands gods because talay fell for him and 1) they didn't see each others faces 2) talay didn't know how rich he is 3) they have maybe not even one common interest (only writing scenarios but talay was forced to do it and I don't think he'll continue to do it in the future) and still their bond feels so natural and strong??? they really live just to do the best things which are bicker and bang and enjoy good food.

But yeah, I absolutely adore how they drove home that appearance plays no part in their connection. I'm sure they find each other physically attractive (in both their own and the other universe) but they were fully aware Tess and Tun's bodies didn't belong to them and fell in love anyway. It was all about the person inside. That's love man 😩
Also asldkjfld oh man I'm sure @stormyoceans is far more informed than I am but I can think of a couple things they have in common! We see them flying kites, fishing(?), and riding bikes in episode 2, plus they're enjoying a movie together in episode 10. And *sighs in I-don't-drink* we all know they like their alcohol. What's awesome about these two is that you can easily imagine them trying new things together, simply because they enjoy each other's company so much 😊
OH BOY YOU ASKED FOR IT. Because I have to be extra about this, here's at least one (1) favorite PuenTalay moment of mine per episode:
Episode 1 - Talay gifting the alpaca hat (and this line in particular)
Episode 2 - drunk!Talay kiss & "Ai'Dang!" (also proud of myself for calling that line was gonna come back when this episode aired)
Episode 3 - Talay not only trying to cheer Puen up (in his own goofy way) but also giving him advice without judgment (yes I like the bath scene too but this one is more meaningful to me personally, it's such an important step in their relationship)
Episode 4 - Talay teasing a shy Puen (rare in the wild) & the cheek-pinching battle
Episode 5 - the mouthing-words thing coming full circle by way of Puen reassuring a sad and lonely Talay he won't leave him behind
Episode 6 - Talay confessing everything he loves about Puen & whatever the hell this is
Episode 7.1 - this entire fucking scene
Episode 7.2 - Puen running right over with a home-cooked meal because he heard Talay was sick + the following conversation
Episode 7.3 - and of course, the emotional climax
Episode 8 - Puen pulling one over on Talay (and immediately explaining why), Puen being a horny bastard, them being total nerds, and THE scene which has to be one of the most romantic scenes I’ve ever seen
Episode 9 - Puen being a horny bastard yet again while making this face, Puen helping Talay with his trauma (again, no judgment to be found) despite having a terrible fight with him last time they saw each other, them making up in an understanding, healthy way, and Puen realising who Talay is in their own universe
Episode 10 - this bathtub scene because I love just how frickin’ comfortable they are with each other (even though I’d never dangle a tablet above my bath what is wrong with you Puen) & them hugging in elation after finally finding the link that’ll bring them back home
Episode 11 - WHAT THE HELL ELSE (+ them falling over during the kiss because that’s an adorable touch)
Episode 12 - this one might be incomplete because I’ve only watched it once and I’m holding off on a rewatch but! them being domestic and bantery and adorable in the opening scene, Puen pulling an Enchanté, and Puen’s proposal (Lays get the fuck outta here)

sorry if this is a hot take but the way yoon and talay absolutely will not kiss even when yoons character is alive and perths is dead is very funny to me…idk if they wrote it into their contracts or something but why do they keep playing a couple if they don’t want to kiss
but... they've kissed before?? okay their first kiss as nottpun is probably fake but they really kissed in the special episodes? and yes their kiss was a small one but they've kissed each other's cheeks & foreheads maaany times, as you can see in the second post I've linked. it does feel weird that here they didn't kiss when every other ship did, but I also feel like it would've been too rushed in the way they executed the series. if they had added a few more scenes then yes it would've made more sense, but otherwise it fit the hesitancy the characters have when they’re together & how slow they’re taking their relationship by the end of their episodes. but yeah yoon & lay are NOT opposed to kissing :’)

i really enjoyed ep 6, but i'm not sure i'll be able to watch it again anytime soon. it was TOO TOO much, yk.
cheeks! interrupted kiss! you're right as always, monica! i think that no one even doubts that puen and talay are looking for eo in another universe, bcs this is too much. like p'aof called p'x and they discussed over a cup of coffee which moments from vice versa should be added to the series. they filmed the proposal scene almost identically! there are neat pink bushes in the background, and mork gets down on one knee. the only thing missing is a sunflower and a fucking lays. i died already at this moment, my soft brain refused to function. i'm sure you do too.
it also seems to me that something lies on the surface, but we don’t see it.

Not the first (Let me be the last)
My Engineer the Series, RamKing
Summary:
A chance encounter allows Ram to learn about King’s first relationship. He’s not happy about the way it went down. (Not that he’ll say anything about it.)
Because who isn’t thrilled to find out Lay Talay (King’s actor) was in that Cornetto BL commercial?

“Let me guess, you want me to explain this problem too?” King looks up and Ram nods vehemently. “Haha, okay so first you’ll notice we’re given the variables for-”
“Oh, Ai King!” King doesn’t look up, but Ram does. It’s another senior, likely to be in King’s year. His face isn’t bad and his expression is kind, but Ram immediately feels his hackles rise. A quick glance at King shows that King isn’t thrilled to see him either. “I didn’t think you liked tutoring that much.”
“I didn’t like tutoring you that much, Boy. There was a difference.” King finally looks up and Ram winces at the smile on his face. An amalgamation of several different kinds of wrong. Too sharp, too painful, too fake. Ram wants to wipe it off of King’s face immediately. “But I do alright, helping my nongs learn.” King turns to Ram, his expression cool. “Isn’t that right, N’Ram?”
Ram only looks up at Boy with a steely expression and nods once.
Boy leans in, a playful smirk on his lips. “Well N’Ram, let me tell you, Ai King is-”
“Wow, look at the time! Ai Boy, don’t you have to get to your elective? Wasn’t it Advanced Circuits?” King shoves Boy along. “Go on, you wouldn’t want the professor to be upset, would you? Still got that track record of being late, huh?”
At last, a hurt expression crosses Boy’s face. “King. You know that time I-”
“You should go,” King says softly. “Don’t keep repeating things that are already done.”
Boy doesn’t move. Ram stands up and Boy’s expression changes. “Ah. I see. Then I’ll leave you two alone.”
“What?” King notices Ram standing. “Why are you-”
“I might be late, but you’ve always had a problem seeing things that are a bit obvious,” Boy says while shaking his head. “I’ll go first then. Goodbye, King. And you too, N’Ram.” Boy tilts his head and Ram, at least offers a wai before Boy leaves. King remains standing, watching Boy walk away.
A moment later, Ram tugs on King’s sleeve. King looks at him and Ram points at the direction Boy had walked off in. “You want to know the story?” Ram nods. “Why?”
“It bothers you,” Ram says softly.
“It did. It sometimes still does.” King sits back down and spins his pen between his fingers. “Boy and I go way back to first year.” King leans back and looks up at the sky, a soft shade of blue. “I used to be friends with a Comm Arts girl named Fah. He asked me to help him flirt with her. I figured why not. He was a decent friend, why not help him?” King sighs and looks down at Ram’s worksheets. “But I didn’t expect... That I’d like him as much as I did. And every time I helped him... He’d give me this ice cream...” King’s lips curve in a sad smile. “But at the last step of his plan, he flipped everything on its head. I got jealous and he sauntered up to me and asked me out instead of Fah.”
Ram furrows his brows. “And then?”
“And then? Well...” King sighs. “We dated for a bit. Maybe a month? Two months? It... it wasn’t so bad. But Boy had a terrible knack for doing or saying things too late.
“He’d leave food out until it was almost bad and then shove it into the fridge. He’d wake up ten minutes before our dates. I’d ask him to water my plants and he’d water them when they were half dead. He’d stay behind in class and show up at the end of a break for lunch with me. I told him how much I liked him, that I had never liked anyone else as much as I liked him before.
“He just sort of stayed quiet after that. And I started to wonder... Had I said the wrong thing? Had I been too fast after only two months? All of that built up and... I couldn’t take it anymore.
“I broke up with him.” Ram’s frown worsens as King’s eyes grow cloudy with the memory. “And he chose...” King laughs bitterly. “He chose that day to say he liked me back.” King folds his arms and rests his head on them. “But it was too late. I’d already let go. I’d already moved on.”
“And him?”
“Him? Oh.” King shrugs. “Every once in a while when our paths cross and he gets a chance? He tries to remind me the signs were there. That he did like me too.” King sits up and drums his fingers against the table. “But... I couldn’t see it. That’s why he says I can’t see what’s obvious, but is it obvious if the guy you’re dating can’t tell you mean it?”
Silence falls and Ram takes that moment to collect his thoughts before putting a hand over King’s. King turns to look at him, but Ram is already in his space, drawing closer and closer. King feels his face turn just a bit red.
“How... How obvious do I have to be?” Ram asks as his breath fans over King’s lips. “What kind of sign will you need?”
“Th-t-there are s-several that could work...” King trails off as he looks at Ram’s lips. “Bu- uh... um... the more obvious... the better?”
Ram slides a hand into King’s hair. “More obvious than this?”
“Y-yeah... A guy like me c-co-cou-could get confused.”
Ram’s other hand slides up King’s thigh. “I... I like being very clear.”
“Y-yes. I know that,” King says as his heart starts pounding furiously.
“Good.” Ram moves forward the few millimeters left between them and captures King’s lips.
It’s only a few moments of a gentle pressing of lips, just a second taken with a nip to King’s bottom lip, a hint of a tug on King’s hair, and then the two part. King still looks sufficiently dazed and Ram feels his heart swell in his chest.
“I hope it was obvious enough,” Ram says, feeling his cheeks grow pink.
“It... uh... was very obvious,” King says while fanning himself, trying to reduce the redness of his cheeks.
“If that’s the case, should I remind you again tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow?!”
Ram nods. “And every day after that. If you need it.”
King snorts just a bit, but his shoulders shake and his lips are smiling. “Yeah, I think I’d be okay with that.”

Vice Versa Ep 12 (Finale) Stray Thoughts
I'll write these since it's the finale. I'm going to be relieved to get this off my queue.
This is kind of a mean joke from Puen after everything they've been through.
I see GMMTV learned their lesson from the Bad Buddy finale and is leading with fluff.
Talay's boss getting switched is a solid twist. I like the idea of Talay and Puen helping other universe travelers.
Ah, of course we'll have to deal with public scrutiny because Puen is an actor.
The idea of starting Friend Credits in this universe is actually kinda cute.
Damn, they just gonna ambush Puen in an interview like this?
Oh, I like Talay's friend. She is the ideal fan. Stay out of your faves' personal lives.
I can appreciate the Manager's job, given the homophobic constraints, but y'all could have at least sent Talay a missive explaining the situation.
I will not miss all these ads when this is over.
Tup and Tou! 😂 I do find the multiverse shenanigans amusing.
Talay always puts others first. Of course he's going to cover for Puen.
Now, I appreciate that Puen believed this flash drive was related to Talay, but you absolutely do not plug foreign drives into your devices within your network.
I appreciate the imagery of a popular actor choosing to come out and admit his feelings after being stalked by the press.
Talay needs to not use his phone while driving.
Oh no. The borrowing the kitchen request was just to sell a noodles ad.
Why is he only feeding Talay? What about Gyo and Mom????
Honestly, I was afraid Puen was gonna pull out another piece of product placement from this bag instead of the hourglass.
I'll say I don't mind minor drama in what amounts to an extended denouement.
Sorry, but I'm not watching the Lays ad.
Edit: at @respectthepetty urging, I watched the Lays ad. I appreciated the callback to the wedding scene in the other universe. I reached my breaking point with these ads though. Feeding a chip during the proposal took at least three months off my life.
Final Verdict: 7. Honestly, this show falls into the Unessential category. This show proved for me once and for all that I am not a Jittirain fan. I spent a great portion of this show waiting for things to happen rather than considering what was happening in the moment. It's an easy enough watch, and the unchallenging nature is truly a worthwhile break for many viewers. I am not that kind of viewer, so this show was rather tedious for me.
