Already back from work, in the comfort of Terence's new home. It's so fabulous, he could get used to living in it. Terry is lucky that he has such good taste for choosing houses.
Tumblr media
A quick shower and a change of clothes. Lina is coming to visit and is about to arrive.
Tumblr media
As soon as Lina arrived they started arguing, apparently she didn't like the fact that he is living in Terry the Terrible's house, she doesn't like the fact that Jaycen is associating with him either. (Sorry Lina, you better get used to it!)
Tumblr media
It seems that the discussion escalated, goodbye to Jaycen's plans to have a good time with Lina in the luxurious mansion.
Tumblr media
In the end Lina apologized, but it was too late, Jaycen was already in a bad mood. 😣

I’ve been thinking how to get rid of this old pervy grandpa as fast as possible. I never liked their story which resembles Nabokov’s story and Lina always wanted to see a ghost of her rich husband. I don’t think she can find another rich man willing to marry her that easy so it seems that we have to use Eli as our guinea pig. I’ve never killed anyone before on purpose in TS3.
Tumblr media
So when I tried to burn him with fire that easily jumps out of the fireplace he took about 24 hours to get on fire himself. That was plain ridiculous and I saw many chairs and tables turning black and he was just jumping around them, I gave up many times while watching it and thought I would just wait till he dies a natural death of old age.
Tumblr media
Then I reloaded the save and replayed it again, only this time I wanted to try to drown him. He got tired from working out and fell asleep in the public pool.
Tumblr media
So be it. RIP old pervert.
Tumblr media
Lina started crying too loud and on everyone’s shoulders, people started to beg her for money as soon as they saw grim coming after her sugar daddy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I couldn’t watch her crying over this pensioner and I placed his grave into her inventory and sent her to the science lab to make a ghost out of him.
Tumblr media
And Eli became a ghost. No one knows why. No one knows what we’re going to do about it. I was the most surprised because when he came back his relationship with her was just fiance but I was pretty sure the last time I played them they got married in casino before I demolished it. He also got his age reset and was at the beginning of elder stage.
I quickly changed his age to leave him only a couple of days to live and Lina played a bunch of pool games with Jaycen while still wiping her tears off her face and fell in love with him at the same night.

Ms Luigia "Gina" Lollobrigida OMRI (4 July 1927 – 16 January 2023)
Destined to be called "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World", Ms Lollobrigida was the daughter of a furniture manufacturer, and grew up in the pictorial mountain village. She studied sculpture at Rome’s Academy of Fine Arts, and started her career with minor Italian film roles before coming third in 1947’s Miss Italia pageant.
After refusing a contract with Howard Hughes to make three pictures in the United States in 1950, Ms Lollobrigida gained for starring turns in 1952’s “Fanfan la Tulipe” and 1953’s “Bread, Love and Dreams,” the latter of which netted her a BAFTA nomination for Best Foreign Actress.
Ms Lollobrigida’s first American film was “Beat the Devil,” a 1953 adventure comedy directed by John Huston that cast her opposite Humphrey Bogart. Over the course of the ’50s and ’60s, she starred in numerous French, Italian and European-shot American productions, with highlights including “Trapeze” with Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” as Esmerelda, “Solomon and Sheba” with Yul Brynner, “Never So Flew” with Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen, “Come September” with Rock Hudson, and “Woman of Straw” with Sean Connery, and “Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell,” with Shelley Winters.
Her roles made her a major sex symbol of Italian cinema; in 1953, she won Italy’s David di Donatello award for Best Actress for her performance in the opera star Lina Cavalieri’s biopic “Beautiful But Dangerous,” known in Italian as “The World’s Most Beautiful Woman.”
She later won two more David di Donatello Award for “Imperial Venus” and “Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell,” a Golden Medal of the City of Rome in 1986, a 40th Anniversary David in 1996 and a 50th Anniversary David in 2006. In 1961, she won the Golden Globes’ Henrietta Award for “World Fan Favorite,” and received nominations for “Falcon Crest” and “Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell.”
After the ’60s, Lollobrigida’s career began to slow down, but she continued to act intermittently, including in the 1995 Agnes Varda film “Les cent et une nuits de Simon Cinéma,” and in ’80s TV shows such as CBS’ “Falcon Crest” and ABC’s “The Love Boat.”
Ms Lollobrigida also developed a successful second career in photojournalism during the ’80s. She obtained an exclusive interview with Cuban leader Fidel Castro and also photographed many famous film stars, as well as publishing a number of books of her photographs.
In 2011 she made her final film appearance, playing herself in a cameo for the Italian parody film “Box Office 3D: The Filmest of Films.”
The screen legend sale of some of her 23 jewels from her Bulgari  collection at Sotheby’s in 2013 to help fund an international hospital for stem-cell research.
On 16 October 1999, Lollobrigida was nominated as a Goodwill Ambassador of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization
Ms  Lollobrigida won the Berlinale Camera at the Berlin Film Festival in 1986, Karlovy Vary Film Festival special prize in 1995, and the Rome Festival’s career prize in 2008. In 2018, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Gina Lollobrigida: morta la grande attrice italiana
Gina Lollobrigida è morta oggi a Roma all'età di 95.

"Eli likes Anastasia."
"I keep telling her that's too long! She needs a short name that starts with an L to carry on the family tradition! She should totally be Lexi!" Yolanda interrupted.
Tumblr media
Lina rolled her eyes, "See how I'm stuck between my BFF and my boyfriend!" We laughed, but I realized the influence Yolanda held over her. She probably knew everything, and that made her worth cultivating.
"What about you? What are you naming your boy?" I asked as we drifted into the classroom and took up positions on colorful mats.
Tumblr media
I played the game carefully, with comments and compliments directed at both of them equally so that neither felt left out or favored. Most especially, I avoided appearing to come between them, nothing would get the door slammed in my face faster. After the class and obligatory post-workout protein shakes I felt confident that getting Vokoban the name he wanted would be a piece of cake. The answers Detective Steel wanted proved more elusive, but easier to manage as one of Lina's confidant's.

First pass at recreating TS3′s Lina Lancaster, per anon request.
There aren’t too many great headshots of her that I can find (where she hasn’t been significantly altered, anyway) so I’m kinda winging it I guess?
Edit: I also took an unsolicited stab at her generically attractive mom, Lola:

Constructive feedback welcome of course.

The party has begun! Deanne, the babysitter, never does her job, but today she decided to monopolize Davy and take him herself to blow out the candle on the cake. Cynthia didn't seem to mind much, but Terence wasn't too happy.
(This is one of the things that annoys me about the babysitters in this game, sometimes the parents can't get close, this time not even on their own child's birthday). 🙄
Tumblr media
Anyway, the Chos celebrated and cheered Davy on, accompanied by Brandon. We don't know why his wife Sandra and daughter Cindy didn't come. My sims' birthdays never turn out as expected, lol.
Tumblr media
The animation picked up when Jaycen arrived. Too bad he didn't bring little Stephan, the son he had with Lina Lancaster, and of whom he is in charge. Yes, Jaycen is a single father.
Tumblr media
The time is near! Davy was already put down, you know, as it should be done with every little birthday boy. 😆

Now that he is her husband again with the help of master controller, it was time for her to go see his ghost form and fulfill her lifetime wish. And only there in her own bathroom’s blinding light she finally had her lifetime wish fulfilled.
Lina’s son grew up with a mean trait and the first thing he did was making enemies with Eli. He picked on the very touchy thing for our scrooge and kept arguying and arguying about it then he wished to make 3 more enemies. Good boy! I could help you with that.
Tumblr media
Lina, however didn’t waste any time and changed into a new dress to come out and party.
Tumblr media
Our bartender all of a sudden served nice insane coctails for everyone and Jaycen and Lina rushed to the hot tub to clean their boots.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now what’s a girl to do? Rich and single, madly in love with a town’s most famous casanova Jaycen. I really want her to have 2 angry dobermann dogs or a black cat  but I hate dealing with pet’s routing issues. So, we’re just visiting the same local watering hole over and over trying to spend all his pension he had left for her. This is going to take many cocktails and woohoo on the beaches to get over it and find a new way to live.
Tumblr media
I sent Eli back to the grave and now I’m thinking about playing bachelor challenge for Jaycen again with the same contestants.

Marcus went to the park looking for Cricket, but he was stopped by Lina Lancaster who's none other than Lola Lancaster's daughter! 😮
Lola has passed on now and Marcus blocked out most memories of her, but here's Lina and she instantly started flirting with him. I was thinking oh no no no, let's not get involved with her. Marcus agreed, but it was too late because Cricket had seen!
Cricket was like 'what's going on here?!' Marcus panicked, for once it wasn't exactly his fault. He tried to smooth things over with flowers....but will Cricket believe him?
And also where is her baby bump? Should be there by now. 🤔

‘ 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 ! ’
━━━ › 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘:
The Coalyard Motel was built by Lenoard Kispert and ran by his wife, Charlotte Kispert in 1925 as a destination for business traveler and tourists. They were both local’s to Coalyard, and created the hotel to bring in revenue for the small town. In its beginnings, the motel was dolled-up with stained-glass windows, big potted plants imported from varies countries, and light-coloured, regal looking statues. But within four years of its opening, the United States sank into the Great Depression. Although the motel grew as a beautiful destination motel for all of those who ended up stumbling into the small town throughout the 1940s.
In 1998, the motel was fixed-up after new owners, Lenoard and Charlotte’s friend of a friend, took over from there. They renovated all the rooms and applying cosmetic fixes throughout the motel such as the main lounge, vents, and electrical.
𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐀𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃: death, suicide, suicide mention, fire mention, drug abuse mention, alcohol mention, infidelity mention.
━━━ › 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍:
The first recorded suicide at the Coalyard Motel happened on the evening of April 3rd, 1929, when Frances Alder, 45, took his own life by shotgun while inside his hotel room after failing to come up with a reasonable agreement between with his wife, and after he was no longer considered mentally-fit to see his newborn child. The next reported death happened in 1930 when Katherine Lodge, 62, died in her room from natural causes.
In addition to suicides and natural deaths, the Coalyard Motel's history includes other violence and disturbing happenings. It also became a famous meeting spot for cheating couples, drug activity, and drunk locals who didn't want their families to see them piss their own beds.
In 2013, while researching the Coalyard Motel for an article for The New York Times, journalist and reporter Rosamund Ali claimed that in 1955, Lina Lancaster, dubbed by western media as the Star of the West, was thought to have been seen drinking at the Coalyard's bar in the days before her famous disappearance and unsolved murder.
Lancaster was last seen alive at the Coalyard Motel on July 26th, 1955 and was not seen again until her body was discovered in an empty field on August 16th, 1955.
There are no known records of Lina Lancaster ever being at the Coalyard Motel.
━━━ › 𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐋𝐘𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐖:
Despite the mouthful of death that seems to ooze through the Coalyard Motel, people seemed to be fascinated and instead weren’t frightened. The Coalyard Motel attracted those who were interested in the mysterious. Unexplained fires starting in the field to the west. The shadows that dance in the forest. The sharp chill that passes through your body, warning you that you aren’t alone — yet you cannot see a thing. In the last several months that Peridot has been in town and running the motel, it was obvious to her that this sleepy town and its dark pasts interested  and draws people in. Like a fly caught in honey.
Every now and then, a strangler from elsewhere in the world, just as Peridot had been, will comes into town looking for a place to lay their head. The difference was that they were coming in with the intention of taking videos and photos and selling it all later for memorabilia – those who were obsessed in the supernatural. It never sat right with Peridot. This seemed like a different sort of disrespect from those who shoot heroine between their toes. People had lost their lives here. They were family members, friends. People from Coalyard or the loners looking for a place to settle. People have died and disappeared in the Coalyard Motel ; therefore, it should be respected and kept clean and healthy, as any other tomb or gravestone.
Thankfully, for their own sake, they never stay for longer than two days.   Sometimes, the motel gets too much for people.
