Nicki Minaj dressed as Cinderella for Halloween, wearing a custom Zigman gown, Marianna Harutunian choker & headband and Kyle Chan Design emerald cut London blue topaz diamond earrings in 14 karat white gold.
Lady Gaga is expanding the world of “Chromatica”! Yesterday, she released the highly anticipated music video for her third single “911″, which was directed by award-winning director Tarsem Singh. On set photography by Mason Poole.
The video reveals itself to be an elaborate hallucination, as Gaga suddenly snaps back into reality in an ambulance after being involved in a serious accident and cries out that she forgot her pills.
Over 10 looks styled by Nicola Formichetti and Marta Del Rio with tailoring by Samuel Ososki and Alex Navarro. Hair by Frederic Aspiras and makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart using Haus Laboratories. Nails by Miho Okawara.
Instead of focusing on the runway, Gaga and her team sought out new designers and one-of-a-kind pieces.
Central Saint Martins alum Johannes Warnke, who I introduced you to the other day, contributes the opening look: a slinky, asymmetrical, red-to-white ombré dress and matching cape that Gaga wears while passed out in the sand dunes.
Inspired by his “Windows of Perception” graduate collection, this piece was further customized by the Haus of Gaga.
The Ombra red mesh mask with latex trim by Dead Lotus Couture shields her eyes.
She accessorized the look with a pair of House of Emmanuele’s Venus pearl and crystal long drop earrings...
...and pearls by Lillian Shalom wrapped around her wrist (similar pictured).
The white gloves, she mostly wears throughout the entire video, ruby anklet, lapis lazuli cabochon ring (similar pictured) and Nepali Tibetan flower turquoise and coral ring (similar bracelet pictured) are all from the stylist’s kit.
Even all the background characters were a feast for the eyes.
The horse rider, we see at the beginning and end of the video, is wearing a full outfit from the archive of Western Costume Co. and a custom Gladys Tamez Millinery black felt velour hat similar to Jodorowsky’s hats in “El Topo”.
The pillow boy aka. car driver is wearing an Arabesque dress and embroidered slippers sourced from Universal Costume Department, along with a leather, wood and bamboo corset belt by San Francisco-based designer Lance Victor Moore!
Each of the four firefighters dressed as popes in custom Garo Sparo exaggerated papal capes, mozzetas and mitre headpieces!
Each of the tangerine & yellow versions of religious vestments, high-collared gowns detailed with embroidery, and towering headpieces would have been impressive on its own but combined, they fill the video with a spectacular chorus of oddities.
Everything only gets wilder from here. The saint/perimedic wears the finale look from Richard Quinn’s “House of Quinn” Fall/Winter 2020 collection - an impeccably embroidered cape trimmed with feathers, and a hi-lo skirt in dove-colored silk taffeta.
If that wasn’t already enough, check out that beaded mitre headpiece created by Agnieszka Osipa (similar pictured). The shoes are from Universal Costume Department.
Our other paramedic rocks a bespoke Laurel DeWitt black & gold metal chain fringe shoulder piece and matching belt, and black wide-leg pants by costume designer and maker Jim Tanner.
In the short slow-motion scene, we can spot the Horus lightweight manipulated and treated cotton cloak by Gelareh!
Our crying lady is wearing a full custom purple satin dress and veil, custom-made by Jim Tanner along with a vintage gold plate necklace from Western Costume Co.
L.O.V.E. these! The choir aka. witnesses are all dressed in bespoke BCALLA show-stopping blue metallic tapestry velvet cloaks trimmed with blue rope, and pleated white high collar blouses.
The king is seen in a gold metal headpiece custom-made for the video by designer Marianna Harutunian, who shouldn’t be a stranger to you!
He’s also rocking the House of Emmanuele Countess crystal necklace on his eyes, a Laurel DeWitt gold metal fishnet and rope outfit, a black fur cape from Universal Costume Department and gold metal cuffs by Gelareh.
The two police officers wear custom Howie B. floor-length midnight-blue satin-trimmed velvet ponchos and insane headpieces.

Cara Delevingne at Met Gala 2018 : I have never been a big fan of completely sheer dresses but for whatever reason this Dior look worked out pretty fine for me. Of course the Marianna Harutunian crown helped a lot here, but the major reason for this look’s success is her right attitude. It enforced the viewer to take in the complete goth vibe and find the Catholic imagination in the small details.
Aria’s spider necklace she wore in 2x15 ‘A Hot Piece Of A’ has become a pretty iconic “Aria” piece. It was made by Marianna Harutunian, the jewelry maker behind most of the pieces worn in 6x09 ‘Last Dance’.

After beginning her relationship with Tristan Duffy in episode 5x02 “Chutes and Ladders”, the Countess has some pillow talk with him about the ancient blood virus and also about her past.
The Countess arrived at Studio 54 on a white horse (an homage to Bianca Jagger) wearing a vintage red deep-plunging knot top and matching sarong skirt with vintage silver dragon embellishment on the waist.
Lou Eyrich pinned a hand-made silver crystal brooch on the tail of the dragons made by Marianna Harutunian.
Lastly, she wears the Pleaser Eclipse-608 clear acrylic and PVC platform sandals.
While all elements of the perfect shot are required to be as perfect as the overall results, there are some components that clearly stand out and set the definition for the picture. The royal muzzle mask created by genius designer Marianna Harutunian is a jewel of this shoot. And the crew are the light to make this jewel shine. A quick info the photographer shared with us about himself and the…
(continued) but I totally agree on wanting to see her do more design stuff - hopefully her recent collaboration with Marianna Harutunian gives her the taste for doing more collaborations and design bits and pieces. She did also heavily hint on the first S3 Race Chaser that she's planning a book...
Did she? I totally took her saying “it’ll be in the book” as a joke lol. I mean maybe she will one day who knows, but I didn’t get that vibe that she was actually working on one or anything. Although I would read the shit out of her autobiography. I remember on that stupid “psychic/medium” show on WoW she said something about working on a creative design project or her own line or something? I would really love if she did something like that! She is such an amazing designer, her creativity is out of this world. I want her to make more cool drag costumes like her hindu goddess arm thing or her venus flytrap! I miss Raja’s crazy awesome costumes!!
Gwen Stefani has always made a strong impression for her signature sense of style that’s equal parts edgy, rock goddess and daring, dynamic darling—and always coolly frosted with her striking platinum locks.
With her recurring role as a coach on ‘The Voice,’ Season 12 has seen her deliver plenty of bold fashion statements that sing loud and clear.
First up, a Mario Dice Fall 2017 polka-dot frock showed off Gwen’s take on feminine, retro elegance with the cheeky flourish of dimensional fabric embellishment across the asymmetric neckline.
She further celebrated a sleekly sophisticated, body-con silhouette in a shimmery Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2017 midi-length dress that was further enhanced by ruffles and lace, as simple looks don’t often make it into her style vocabulary. Burgundy heels provided an interestingly rich note of contrast, while she gave her red lippie a break.
Red came out to play again in a fully embroidered Alice + Olivia ‘Eleonora’ poet-sleeve flower dress from the Fall 2017 collection. A remarkable use of accessories often gives a Gwen look its personalized touch, and that was abundantly proven here as she styled the frock in eye-catching form with bright ruby thigh-high boots and fishnets along with a headband and statement earrings by Marianna Harutunian.
Gwennie always manages to keep us guessing with her range of uniquely glam looks. Which one caught your attention here?
