Do you guys ever think that Saiki is so mean to the pk psychics because he wants to push them away?

A lot of people have realized that Saiki is an asshole to Toritsuka, Aiura, and Akechi in a way that he isn't to his other friends. With Nendou, Kaidou, Teruhashi, and the others, Saiki is standoffish but never outwardly mean. With the psychics he insults them, ignores them, and physically hurts them. It's way beyond his typical tsundere behavior.

I think this is because Saiki wants them to hate him. He sees himself as a dangerous monster and wants the psychics to realize that too. Everyone in Saiki's life who knew about his powers (his family) treated him like a monster. Now that Akechi, Toritsuka, and Aiura know, he doesn't understand why they aren't scared of him.

I think he is so mean to them because he wants them to realize that he's too dangerous and a burden and that he can't have friends. Saiki thinks it's only a matter of time before they realize this themselves so he wants to get it over with. Maybe if he hurts the psykickers enough they'll see he's nothing more than a monster and leave him alone. It'll be better for everyone that way because Saiki can't hurt them if they leave.
