Ah. Well.

I was supposed to be free once June started but work didn’t give me rest, and so I spent the past 2-3 weeks getting ready for a work trip in another province (like, across-the-sea province) and I just got back last Friday. Tiring, but aside from the reports and notes I have to write about said trip this week, I think I’m pretty much available to surf into tumblr again.

Alright, where do I start? 

I haven’t talked much about JoJolands, yet to talk about the manga ending for CDDH (though maybe I shouldn’t since the novel just came out and I think that one is more story-accurate). CDDH Vol3 and the novel just came out in my local Japanese bookstore, so I might get them this coming weekend.

I spoiled myself with some translations of the CDDH novel in Twitter, and I can safely say, Hol Horse gets a lot of backstory and dammit, there’s even HolPol I AM ECSTATIC :D I want to read the novel for myself and translate it on my own, but for now, I’ll just depend on those independent tweets to feed me some Mr Horse facts.

Talking about Hol Horse, I just added a keychain, a badge and two standees from the JoJo Last Survivor game, into my collection. Hol didn’t have an official standee (I think there’s only one of his hand holding Emperor, but that’s it) except from the game, so I guess I just have to have it.

Here’s hoping that one day I can find and buy his official cowboy hat (which must be expensive af).

Currently I’m working on some personal HolPol/PolHol stuff, in addition to the usual 1 Day 1 Hol Horse challenge. Not sure if I want to open to trades or requests just yet (I still owe a post for one), but once I’m done with my work license by next month and get my work-life balance together, I think I can spare more time for art.

I’m half-contemplating leaving a zine because there are...unpleasant...fans in it, and I’m not sure if I want my fanarts to be anywhere near them. Especially with the whole antis shenanigans that I want no part in, but thoroughly condemn. I had lived half of my current age to shit like that, and it’s no longer infuriating, just dumb and cringey at this point.
