Five years without a hint, without a sign. A long search nears its end and the rescue attempt can begin.

I am... not used to writing Nesha and Lana, gonna start off with that. I think Nesha has like... middle of the road development as a character for my mains and also her speech patterns that I decided on are an ENDLESS regret because I'm used to shortening words and not writing out things in full. But it sounds more formal to me and works as a VERY nice contrast to Saris!

Anyway, woo! First thing finished and posted in nearly a year! I think. Last I checked. I have a bunch of WIPs that are slowly finally getting finished in the oneshot collection. Some are connected to other things I haven't started yet but have ideas for so those'll take a bit longer.

Actual relevant to fic notes! I decided given how strong I want to make Nesha and Saris' Force Bond that it was gonna end up as a Dyad instead. And definitely just trying to break the idea I've seen that its Force-assigned soulmates because while I do love a good soulmate fic (it is my WEAKNESS) I do hate the idea that a bond of that level has to be inherently romantic. (Please keep up the soulbond Dyad fics though there's some really good ones out there!)

Slowly exploring the five year timeskip stuff too because I definitely have ideas for what all my idiots are doing during that!

Title is a homage to Saris' D&D counterpart where during the Rebellion-era (As a completely different character) he's in a group protecting Force-users called "The Guardians of Lost Lights" as "Seeker of the Lost Stars." (Just Seeker for short.) Nesha and Sirul the Zeltron (joke from last session that I thought was funny as hell!) are there too under the codenames "Finder" and "Speaker" (Shorthand).

...Okay I am REALLY rambley in the notes tonight go ahead and read! Tl;dr, I have a shitton of thoughts about these characters! :'D

Hi, I really love your Aus a lot, especially the Golden Circus and Jade Monkey, I think the stories are so creative and I have a few questions if you don't mind

1- In golden circus I would like to know if you intend to explore more of this story, like what is this circus and who is managing it, and also if it have other attractions (trapped creatures) or employees because in one of your drawings there was someone with wukong besides from macaque and I thought it was nesha so I would really like to know more about

2- Another thing that I wonder a lot if you intend to explore the past for example how macaque got trapped in the painting and was "found" or maybe bought by the circus but mainly how the circus managed to capture a creature as powerful as wukong, I would love to know more about that like flashbacks or something

3- i would like to know if wukong has any side effects because of these forced power drains, like memory loss or behavior change or something and also if the blush only drains the power or if it also has the spell on it

4- And lastly because i think i get pretty big already kk (sorry about that) , just a complete answer to the question above, if the wukong ever tried to run away from the circus and was stopped by the spell or the power drain, or if he was so weak that he didn't even think about that possibility

Hey there! I do plan on fleshing out the au more! (Except for Jade Monkey, I'm currently breaking down and rebuilding that one)

1: My current issue is currently figuring out who I want to be behind the circus because I already have different roles for all of the previous antagonists. I'm hoping the special will introduce more characters and help with that but I was also considering making and oc to take that place but I'm just concerned they won't be that good.

2: Yes there are plenty more attractions including Red Son, Nezha, Yin+Jin, Spider Queen, Peng, Wukong, and Macaque.

3: I do plan to cover how Wukong and Macaque were covered I just need to finish a drawing for Macaque before I post it. As for Wukong, covering his is a little difficult because I need to figure out who I want the main antagonist for the au before I can post it.

4: It's a spell that drains Wukong's powers. The fillet is used as a form of punishment for him (and sometimes Nezha but I'll get into that later.) The only affect to the spell is that all of Wukongs energy is drained along with his powers to the point that he can't function without someone by his side depending on when the spell was last used.

5: Wukong has considered running away but never actually attempted it. He's being pretty heavily manipulated and considers one of his captors as a parental figure.

Sorry I know I didn't provide a drawing this time around but I figured I'd give you all something since I know a few of you are waiting for it.

Harold is one of those characters that the more I think of him, the more fascinated I am by his development through the run of the show. Because, for instance whenever he comes into the cabin for breakfast and he’s got a mustache drawn on him, they show us his perspective of walking in. He struts in like a star. He is so confident and self assured, and when he sees they’re laughing and he finally takes a look at his face, he don’t even trip. He says “nice stache” and keep it moving. It’s nice to see him have that confidence in himself. Harold’s confidence is super fun for me, because even though the majority of these characters are delusional, many of them are little jerks. Harold has some down moments, but mostly he’s a good kid who loves himself.

It’s so stupid to me whenever my sideblog gets blocked, but not the main and then it’s like... if I don’t realize and I try to reblog to my sideblog and it goes to main instead because the sideblog is blocked. Just have a block all so we can be done with each other. Why do I wanna be connected to a bitch that don’t wanna be connected to me? Fix that Tumblr.

Had this... well, not really an idea or a headcanon, simply a fleeting thought that I need to share. An imagine, if you will. If we've bounced this around before, just know that I have been sick and medicated for several days and my brain is not on full Nesha wellness mode. But. So. An era where Cody wants to try to woo Charlotte, because she's a beautiful genius and will be a good fit for his power couple fantasy and Henry eggs him on to go for it, even though he knows that Charlotte thinks he's a dud. Idek what Henry and Cody's relationship is like. So, idk why this is so funny to me, but this is so funny to me.

I think one of my favorite things about our friendship is that we always end up on the same wavelength. Because I did have this exact thought, although I don’t believe you and I have ever discussed it (in fact, I don’t really think I talked it out with anyone). But, when I was in the early stages of DoD planning and I was working out the dynamics between the characters, I thought about how she would be the exact type of person he’d quickly fall for and I thought about doing something of the sort for a brief moment in time. (although I’d never actually put them together, even for a moment, because we all know how I feel about him and I love Charlotte, so I would never do that to my girl. I think she’s going to get quickly turned off by him anyway because she’s smarter than he is and he won’t like that and he’ll turn into a giant pissbaby about it, so I don’t really think there’d be any room for her to even consider him as a romantic prospect for even a second) (and I know that’s definitely not what you were suggesting, this is just my long way of saying I had the same thought, about him crushing hard on her and her just being like “um. no. 😬”)

I think that’d be a fun little bonding experience for Henry and Zack though. Because Zack would also want to egg Cody on just to watch him crash and burn, like he would think it’s hilarious 😂 (now, if he thought Cody was going to get legitimately hurt beyond just a mild sting after a rejection then that’s another story, he’s got too big of a heart to be that malicious, especially with his brother) 

As for the way Henry's relationship is with Cody…if we’re talking in DoD, like not to spoil it, but his relationship with Cody and his relationship with Zack end up getting like, “switched” in a sense?? Like, I’ve already started the process of killing Henry’s crush on Cody with him finding out about his relationship with Bailey (and because I could not keep up the crush beyond a few chapters for my own sanity lmao) but it eventually gets to the point where he’s basically just playing nice and tolerating Cody because he likes Zack (either as a friend or otherwise) and he doesn’t want to ruin that by alienating his twin brother, but he doesn’t consider them besties by any stretch. They’re basically just “friends” because they share the same friend group and they exist in the same space, but Henry’s not asking Cody to hang out one-on-one and they don’t have a text chain that’s just the two of them or anything. (hopefully I’m making sense, my brain fog is really severe these days and I’m having a hard time articulating the simplest things 😔)

So basically, once again it took me a billion words to basically just say, yes he would egg him on just to enjoy the simple pleasure of watching him spectacularly crash and burn 😁 and that would be hilarious. and i also would enjoy it immensely

COURTING!

Saris tends to show he loves someone with little affectionate gestures. Making favorite foods as a surprise. Giving little gifts and trinkets he's likely spent hours or days thinking about. Sometimes uses flirts or affectionate words for trying to woo people. This went well with Arcann, but back when he was dating Cytharat he was awkward as hell and pretty Niar wanted to beat him with a stick for having to watch that. Overall, he just softens up heavily around people he loves and all the prickly edges just fade away.

Nesha... was a trainwreck at flirting at first. I mean, her first love was another Jedi and her second love was a Sith Lord. (Lana should be happy Luca taught her a thing or two, could have been WAAAY worse!) Nesha tends towards actions rather than words however. A soft touch, a chaste (or more than so) kiss. Closeness and tenderness tends to be her method of courting someone. HOWEVER being with Lana for five years searching for Saris while he was in carbonite definitely made her less awkward and a touch more forward, much to everyone's surprise!

...Sirul doesn't know how he got Theron. Theron doesn't know how he got Sirul. The one that started this mess (me) knows that Theron found Sirul oddly charming if not strangely innocent for a Sith, and Sirul thought Theron was pretty cool with an endearing awkwardness. Neither one is great at flirting and honestly? With them it works.

Sorrel's been pining after the same guy for years and only managed to actually get that relationship because he could finally feel again (Scourge. Its Scourge. NO ONE is surprised!). Sorrel's wooing method, however, is very particular because of that. He tends towards things that Scourge may have missed while incapable of feeling. Favorite foods, certain sounds, touches. He takes Scourge places where he can help him remember the little things, and if neither are up for it, its just a quiet night in, slowly getting used to and learning things.

ATTRACTIVENESS!

Saris KNOWS he's pretty and does try to use that sometimes. Problem is, while he's very pretty, his personality can leave things to be desired. Either coming off as prickly or vain depending on mood and person he's talking to. ...Given that 90% of his actions are made out of spite, this should surprise absolutely no one. :')

Nesha doesn't really think she's pretty or ugly, and definitely doesn't use looks in any way. Many do think she has a calm and elegant look to her, however, if not outright attractive. With that alone, better at accidentally using it than Saris who does on purpose.

(Uhhh... note for my Sith Pureblood headcanons here that lean into hints of racism possibly more than hints). Pureblood Sith in my writings tend to be more attracted to those that look more Sith-y than not qhen going purely on looks. Thus, Sirul is VERY attractive and desireable appearance-wise to others of his kind. Sirul himself, on the other hand, doesn't really think of himself as attractive or desirable given his fear of them due to his Light-alligned nature. He doesn't try to flaunt things at all, preferring to lay low. Talking to a certain SIS agent he met in a bar on Rishi who lightly flirted with him happened to be a sort of "leap of faith" moment.

Sorrel falls into the same category as Nesha, but others don't really seem to comment on his appearance much other than being Chiss. His wingwoman and wingman (Kira and Zalea), ABSOLUTELY will put forth their best efforts to sell him as such though, much to the poor Jedi's dismay.

She’s always been there for me to give me good advice, to help me in situations where I can’t see the forest for the trees, and she’s always inspired me to be better.
