Fairyland Nuia Elf Designer complete (full set), in stock at DDE. Two things make me balk: 1) the body. I have one. I am not a fan. 2) the price. Fairyland is expensive AF.

I stare at them longingly, and then I reluctantly close the browser. Not today. Maybe later.

just saw the recast nuia from ou3ne1fs for the first time and it caught me so off guard. she looks like a weirdly sculpted Navi from blue people avatar 💀💀💀 i laughed so hard. AND that she’s mnf size AND her ears aren’t even the same is hilarious too. in one of the reviews, someone called it their prettiest mnf, and i was like “oh sweetie 💀”. thank god they made it easy to spot a recast nuia- sorry, “nada” (extra LOL), since she really looks ‘nada’ like the actual doll they ripped off ahahahahah

Renowned UK artist Mandy Barker's remote collaboration with Solomon Islands' children last year laid a foundational stone, showcasing how everyday plastic waste, when viewed through the lens of creativity, can transform into compelling pieces of artwork.   A Community's Commitment to Change The workshop was more than a lesson in art; it was a clarion call to action against the backdrop of a looming environmental crisis. Samantha Niunaras, Dreamcast Theatre Solomon Islands workshop facilitator, highlighted the dual focus of the initiative: to enlighten the participants about the environmental threats posed by single-use plastics and to inspire them to conceive how they, in their youthful zeal, can contribute to safeguarding their environment. Echoing this sentiment, British Deputy High Commissioner to Solomon Islands, Her Excellency Emma Davis, underscored the gravity of plastic pollution. With a ban on single-use plastics commencing on 1st March 2024, the workshop's timing is pivotal, symbolizing a collective stride towards mitigating plastic waste and preserving the pristine nature of the Solomon Islands.   Engaging the Next Generation The involvement of Plastic Wise Gizo, spearheaded by Founder and Chairwoman Rendy Solomon, exemplifies the importance of engaging young minds in environmental conservation efforts. By instilling a sense of responsibility and stewardship towards the environment from an early age, the initiative aims to foster a generation that values sustainability and is proactive in its pursuit. She said: It is crucial for programmes like these to reach communities, especially schools where primary children can adopt a mindset valuing inorganic waste. Engaging them during their curious and formative years ensures a lasting impact on future generations, allowing them more time to continue this important work.   A Sustainable Future in Sight The culmination of the workshop saw the children showcase their imaginative creations, crafted from plastic waste, serving as a testament to what can be achieved when community, creativity, and commitment converge. Funded under the UK Climate Diplomacy Fund, this initiative not only highlights the pressing issue of plastic pollution but also demonstrates the tangible steps that grassroots efforts are taking to combat it. Мои “кукло-итоги 2023”:

1. Кукла года в личной коллекции. Наверное, Беляночка — много покупок опять для нее: наряды, обувь. В первую очередь именно она и ее потребности, а потом уже остальное.

2. Кукла-мечта/цель сл. года: Что ж, за год все переменилось)) Во-первых, это тело для Kaorin от Black Cherry, но в этот раз от FANFF, очень красивое, худое, почти андрогинное. Безумно жалею, что протупила и не стала брать, когда был выпуск. Во-вторых, это все еще Дракон и Хули-Цзин, но база для одного выбрана — Сунлин от Spirit.Imprint. Жду предзаказ с возможностью заказа спящей головы. И, очень хочется купить 2 хотелки, вернувшиеся из далекого прошлого: Смартдолл North (Anime) и Ангелл-филия в тане с плоской грудью, доп. ногами, доп. руками, доп. торсом. В этом году меня, наконец, догнал винил, так что очень хочу осуществить мечту.

3. Разочарование года: все еще проблемы с оплатой и, новая проблема — с доставкой. Дико печалит и, похоже, не разрешится.

4. Открытие года: Смартдолл! Да, нормально, вживую, на новом теле) В общем, это очень круто: легко, довольно функционально (не считая того, как сильно красится этот пиздец), есть комплекты рук, груди, отличные лица) Так что да, я снова покорена) Еще одним открытием стали барышни от impldoll с их прикольными лицами и ахрененными телами — огонь! И худое тело от FANFF — не передать словами, как это прекрасно и как я его хочу!!

5. Событие года: однозначно, Доллскар! Снова участие в выставке, много небольших покупок (что-то упустила, но в целом, почти ни в чем себе не отказывала, несмотря на бюджет). Очень понравились шарнирные звери — присмотрела себе даже мастера для ласки-Селяня. Все прошло отлично: много красивого, общалась с людьми, потискала кукол и даже, наконец, получила возможность приобщиться к авторкам, одна из которых — Томож — от моей одноклассницы, которая тоже оказалась в хобби, правда, уже со стороны авторов. В общем, он настолько меня покорил, что я даже вписалась потом в предзаказ на него (на выставке купить не получилось из-за ограничения бюджета).

6. Безумие года: рассрочка на DenverDoll на серых минифи: Chloe и Klaus. Оба в сером, с 2-мя головами каждый, на фейрилайне, с доп. руками (немного, на взяла), каблучными ногами, серыми прозрачными крыльями и прозрачным рогом. Просто пиздец, что я в это влезла! В целом — весь год, это безумие трат на куклах.

8. Сюрприз года: Смартдолл Dauntless (Tea). Это просто ахрененная внезапность!!! Т.е. то, о чем я когда-то думала, но и представить не могла, что получу! Очень красивая девочка! Было много сложностей с новым материалом, новым форматом, новым всем! Но я очень довольна! Второй сюрприз — выпуск FeePle65 от FairyLand. Короче, похоже, я нашла замену большой Chloe – это Nuia ELF. Тоже эльфийка, но с более современным лицом (божеее, эти скулы — прямо как на моих любимых артах), с интересным прочтением образа, она покорила меня. Я наскребла денег на фуллсет с 3-мя! лицами, 4-мя парами доп. рук и каблучными ногами. Посмотрим, что приедет. Тем более, это не мой любимый тан — взяла более универсальный белый.

9. Крышеснос года: покупки кукол! Не, надо притормозить. В этот раз я даже чуть не заказала Старейшину Илин от RingDoll – отказалсь позже, т. к. понимаю, что уже не тяну формат НАСТОЛЬКО больших кукол. Оплатила и получила второго Руди в тане, из того самого, первого, выпуска! Просто Вау! Купила LuuusiQ - No. Six — давно заглядывалась на этих малышек в духе Devon Aoki, а тут даже смогла купить эту прелесть. Еще, конечно, куча обуви, аутфитов, новые форматы (penny box и виниловые куклы). В общем, оторвалась, что называется.

10. Глупость года: в BJD глупочти как-то удалось нивелировать до минимума. Разве что, черный аутфит на Смартдолл — вот да, глупость года, обернувшаяся катастрофой. В остальном, все как-то более менее сложилось ровно.

11. Неприятность года: друзья. Кто-то уходит и, в этом хобби мне безумно печально это наблюдать. Я хочу снова гореть куклами, снова активно тусить. Но многие разъехались, все сменилось, так что я ощущаю какую-то пустоту и выгорание.

12. Умиление года: Julianne от doll-chateau в сиреневом цвете! Потрясающий милаха — красивый цвет, удобный размер, очень красивый и обаятельный! Не терпится его уже отмодить и покрасить) Настоящая милота!!

13. Правильно решение года: продажа первого Сарда — эти деньги мне очень помогли выбраться из жуткой финансовой ямы.

14. Жаба года: не могу сказать, что прям мучила жаба — больше не было денег и возможности что-то купить. Хотя, кресло на Беляночку — да, по жадничала, не купила(( Еще, была крутая голова ухмыляющегося пацана, но ее даже сажать не на что. И monster high — очень нравятся, но сейчас тратить такие деньги на мелкоформат я не готова, хотя многое прям сильно нравилось.

15. Настроение года: впахиваем, чтобы заработать на все хотелки!!!

16. Непонятки года: как привезти то, что оплатила, в Москву! Полнейшая хрень с доставкой.

17. Бренд года: FairyLand. Все еще цепляет, все еще интересно) На втором месте monster high — тоже интересные выпуски новинок. Из больших фирм ничего больше не вспомню, чтобы бежать и гореть. Разве только Smartdoll, за ними было очень круто наблюдать с середины года.

18. Продажа года: Сард от Soom, самый первый выпуск и аутфит от Хрома. Жаль, больше ничего не стартануло((

19. Несбывшаяся мечта года: тело от FANFF. Поздно очнулась, так что в пролете( Angel Philia — тоже очень хотелось купить, но пока не получилось и Smartdoll North (Anime) с доп. частями: грудью, руками, каблучными ступнями. Еще не купила наряд монахини, сиреневый аутфит ведьмы на минифи и никого не покрасила — это просто боль!!!

20. Сбывшаяся мечта: Ухххх, я разошлась)) LuuusiQ - No. Six в тане, тела для Гелиотов, Зеленое платье с розовой накидкой на Беляночку с Тао (просто идеальное платье в духе John Galliano), покупка ведьмовского аутфита на минифи, заказ минифи Клауса (как же я была рада, что его снова релизнули!) и Майи от Fairyland и Smartdoll в тане!!!!

21. Равнодушие года: Soom и большинство фирм. Нет, я как и прежде смотрю на релизы, но очень мало что цепляет и просится домой.

22. Утрата года: Люциусы. Больнее всего прилетело...

23. Неожиданная покупка года: Смартдолл Dauntless (Tea) — какая-то, ахренеть, быстрая покупка. Просто разгон с хочу до покупки меньше, чем за день! Томоэ от Akhmel — внезапная любовь на выставке, которая обернулась участием в предзаказе и тщательным отслеживаем всех процессов. Никогда не думала, что моя первая авторка будет именно такой. Покупка скелетной рыбки в духе Penny box (очень внезапно и очень быстро!), Руди от Soom в тане из первого перевыпуска (вначале отказ, а потом продавец пришел ко мне сам). Nuia ELF от Fairyland. Большая эльфийка!! Я хз, как я нее вообще решилась, но блин, она невероятна! Минифи Хлоя, Клаус и Майя! Причем, серая Хлоя — вот хз, почему оказалась в корзине. С Клаусом и Майей все проще — его внезапно вернули в продажу на ивент, а ее — снимали с продажи под ивент. Так что пришлось напрячься и влезть в покупки.

24. Итог года: 74 куклы, окончательно распавшаяся компания, игра с новым форматом, куча покупок и интересного))
