Alright, since i haven't to hand in anything else for college (yet) I'd figure I'd spend some time developing some fics I've had bubbling in my head for a while. I can't guarantee a length of time that they'll be written and published, but this gives me The responsibility to start working on one or more.
So i thought I'd place a poll of the different fic ideas i have to see which is more popular so i can decide which gets priority. The options are:
1. Agents of SHIELD S5 (and maybe 6&7) rewrite (includes Ben as a mainstay character and defocusing on Fitzsimmons among other changes that I'II happily elaborate if asked)
2. Tyler Lockwood/Josh Rosza fic (basically Tyler sticks around for all of S1 and he and Josh bond and get together, focuses on those two as protags)
3. Post TVD canon wherein Bonnie and Jeremy break away from the MFG and get some more exploration in terms of powers and romance Bonnie explores more uncommon types of magic and meets a female witch, Jeremy learns he can still see Tyler and now has a connection to a deeper afterlife
4. Young Justice Season 5 stories mainly focusing on the Outsiders (Cassie/Wonder Girl, Tim/Robin, Jaime/Blue Beetle, Virgil/Static, Bart/Kid Flash, Ed/ El Dorado, Courtney/Stargirl, Steph/Spoiler, Kara/ Supergirl)
5. Protean City finale in Apocalypse Sonata style tying up all the loose ends and character arcs that the podcast deprived me of (istg, if only one person votes for it I'll still write it, cause let's be real this fandom is basically an endangered species atp) (focuses on Night Owl, Puck, Arcana, Crosswind, Sohcahtoa and Frequency and the assorted ships within)
I can't promise they'll all have a single cohesive story, in fact there's a good chance it'll be anthology style, but I have not written before so this is completely new territory.
And one more reminder, i can't guarantee WHEN these will be made, this is just so i know what people want the most.

So, in Brazilian politics news, the Federal Police has resumed working with the hypothesis that the man who stabbed Jair Bolsonaro in 2018 is linked to the First Capital Command (PPC), one of the country’s biggest organized crime factions.
Tumblr media
In two reports, delegate Rodrigo Morais Fernandes, who had been in charge of the case until last year, concluded that Adélio Bispo acted alone on the day of the attack. He found no evidence of third-party participation in the attack on the then presidential candidate. Morais had already ruled out the PCC's connection with the attack. The Federal Public Ministry agreed with the result of the investigation conducted by Morais and proposed the shelving of the investigation. President Bolsonaro, who was candidate by then, was never satisfied with the results.
The departure of Rodrigo Morais from the case in December 2021 to join an USAmerican task-force in New York for two years, coincided with a decision by the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region, the TRF-1, to authorize the Feds to search the cell phones seized with the lawyers who took up the defense of Adélio Bispo. Until then, the police were prevented from examining cell phones due to an injunction obtained by the Order of Attorneys of Brazil, the OAB. It was a request from Frederick Wassef, Bolsonaro's lawyer, that led the TRF to greenlight access to the devices. With the court's decision, the investigation was reopened by the Feds, and another delegate, Martin Bottaro Purper, was chosen to handle the case.
Purper is one of the top PCC experts within the corporation. He was at the head, for example, of an operation that targeted the faction's financial arm.
In parallel with the change of delegate, by decision of the Federal Police’s general directorate, the investigation stopped running at the corporation's superintendence in the state of Minas Gerais (it was there because the crime took place in the town of Juiz de Fora) and began to be conducted under the of the Directorate of Police Intelligence, the DIP, in Brasília. The sector, responsible for the most sensitive cases under investigation in the Federal Police, reports directly to the director-general's office. Martin Purper, the delegate currently coordinating the investigation, is linked to the DIP. At least four other police officers assist him.
Sources familiar with the new stage of the investigation told journalists, under anonimity, that the hypothesis of Adélio’s connection with the PCC was resumed based on records located on the cell phone of one of his lawyers. In at least one of these records, one of the lawyers links Adélio's name to the PCC. It is not known exactly in what context, nor is it clear whether it could be a joke or prank. It was enough, however, for the new team to consider the hypothesis.
Speculation about the PCC's alleged relationship with the stabbing of Jair Bolsonaro arose soon after the attack, based on the finding that at least one of the lawyers on the team who came forward to defend Adélio also defended members of the criminal faction.
It is unlikely that this new stage of investigation will be completed before the elections in October, but the Feds should make a request to the Justice soon, which, most likely, will serve for Bolsonaro and his supporters to make noise on the matter. People close to the president express, behind the scenes, the hope that developments in the investigation into the stabbing could still yield electoral dividends for the president, which is low in polls.
At least in the speech, the current command of the Federal Police is aligned with the presidential rhetoric about the investigation of the attack. He says, for example, that in previous administrations the case was not treated with the necessary attention and priority. Investigators, however, ensure that they are committed to exhausting all possible hypotheses, so that neither Jair Bolsonaro nor other interested parties can question the result of the work.
The Federal Police is currently subordinated to Minister Anderson Torres. The head of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, a career federal delegate, is one of Bolsonaro's most loyal assistants.

After getting a clear majority for Congress in Karnataka, now all the attention has turned towards the point that who is going to be the CM of the state. Congress who is on a ventilator for so long has got some breather by getting back to form with a thumping majority in Karnataka general elections. The verdict of the people has brought tremors to the BJP camp both in the state and in the central. Now, who is going to be the CM of the state is raising a lot of curiosity among the people of Karnataka? On one side, the veteran and the former chief minister Siddaramaiah and on the other side the PCC chief who has played a crucial role in emerging the Congress victorious in the polls, DK Siva Kumar. D K Shiva Kumar seems to have expressed that he is against the proposal of sharing the term of the CM post. In fact, he is expecting to get the chance this time for his relentless work in bringing Congress to power again. The Congress party has announced the date of the new chief minister’s oathing ceremony i.e. May 18th. However, the name of the chief minister candidate has not been finalized yet by the high command. Siddaramaiah has a good hold over the administration of the state whereas Shiva Kumar is a close aide to Rahul Gandhi. Both candidates have a good hold when it comes to their communities as well. Have to wait and see what parameters will be taken into consideration and who will grab the opportunity this time.

Shun rumours, I’m strong, Tinubu says on arrival from France
Tumblr media
President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, yesterday, returned to Nigeria after a 32-day vacation in three countries, following the conclusion of the 2023 presidential polls, saying he is strong and ready to hit the ground running. An energetic-looking Tinubu, whose jet touched down at about 4:30pm at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, arrived in company of his wife, Oluremi and son, Seyi, to a cheery welcome by his supporters, stalwarts and members of his ruling All Progressives Congress, APC including members of the now-dissolved Presidential Campaign Council, PCC. The visibly elated former governor of Lagos State urged Nigerians to forget rumours about his health. During the vacation, Tinubu was in London, Paris and Saudi Arabia where he observed the lesser Hajj. He was escorted from the airport by a carnival-like motorcade to his residence in Asokoro, even as thousands of supporters and journalists hung around his campaign headquarters in Abuja’s Central District and the Defence House in Maitama, the official residence of Nigeria’s President-elect. Tinubu had departed the country on March 22 on a three-country tour to rest, embark on international engagements and then observe the lesser Hajj. According to a statement from the Office of the President-elect, signed by Tunde Rahman, among those at the airport to receive him were Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, as well as Governors Simon Lalong (Plateau) and Abubakar Sani-Bello (Niger) and former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff. Also at the airport were former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; APC Deputy National Chairman, North, Senator Abubakar Kyari; Deputy National Chairman, South, Mr Emma Eneukwu; and National Woman Leader, Dr. Betta Edu. There were also Senators Barau Jibrin, Adeola Olamilekan, Opeyemi Bamidele, Dayo Adeyeye, Sabi Abdullahi and Adelere Oriolowo as well as secretary of the recently-dissolved Presidential Campaign Council, Mr. James Faleke. Mr. Babajimi Benson and Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Director of media and Publicity in the defunct APC Presidential Campaign Councilwere also there. I’ve rested, refreshed, ready for tasks ahead – Tinubu Addressing the crowd who followed him home, the President-elect said: “I am happy to be back. I have rested. I am refreshed and I am ready for the task ahead. Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I am strong, very strong.” Asked about about his plans for the country, he said he had been consulting and planning with a view to putting together a strong team so he could hit the ground running once he assumes office on May 29. Party leaders to meet soon on zoning of offices —Source With Tinubu’s return, party sources told Vanguard yesterday that the APC hierarchy, and stakeholders will meet soon to hammer out the issue of zoning of offices, especially that of the forthcoming 10th National Assembly. In the absence of Tinubu and zoning template, a horde of senators-elect and members-elect from the various zones of the country have been consulting, lobbying and campaigning to become Senate President, and House of Representatives Speaker, among others. Already, there are fears that the 2015 scenario when Senator Bukola Saraki emerged as Senate president, instead of Senator Ahmad Lawan, who was the choice of the APC leadership, could recur. In that era, Senator Ike Ekwereamdu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, also emerged as Deputy Senate President. In the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara became speaker, instead of Femi Gbajabiamila. Last weekend, the members-elect from seven opposition parties vowed to snatch the House of Representatives speakership from the APC. While the opposition parties, collectively, have 182 seats, the APC has 178 slots. Senate President Ahmad Lawan, weekend, assured that the 2015 fiasco would not recur, adding that the opposition parties would not stop the APC from producing the leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives in the 10th NASS. According to him, the party leadership will do the needful and ensure its interest was protected. Indeed, a top APC source told Vanguard yesterday: “I am happy that Asiwaju is back. He has shamed those who were saying he would not come back or that he is very sick. ‘’You can see that he is hale and hearty and ready to lead Nigeria. Now that Asiwaju is back, APC leaders and stakeholders will meet soon and the question of zoning of offices will be answered. ‘’Asiwaju has told everyone that he is not interested in who becomes Senate president or speaker because it is a decision to be taken by the lawmakers themselves. ‘’However, he wants balance and inclusivity in the sharing of positions and I believe he will urge the party leaders to ensure these in the sharing of position.” Read the full article

A day after police raided the Telangana Congress ‘war room’ run by the party's poll strategist, Sunil Kanugolu, for allegedly making defamatory comments about Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Congress workers held widespread protests across the state on Wednesday, while a few party leaders were put under house arrest before the mass demonstrations could begin. The police raided Kanugolu's office in connection with a case filed over alleged offensive comments against the CM and the posting of the same on social media platforms against the state government. Kanugolu was named as the prime accused in the case, along with three others who worked for him. Police said Kanugolu is absconding. Following a call from the party MP from Kodangal and TPCC president Revanth Reddy to protest the raids on the party's ‘war room’, the police placed several senior Congress leaders under house arrest. Party leaders gathered at Gandhi Bhavan in response to Revanth Reddy's call, and attempts by party workers to stage a rally in front of Pragathi Bhavan, the Chief Minister's official residence, were thwarted. The demonstrations were organised by PCC working presidents Jagga Reddy and Mahesh Kumar Goud. Former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, Youth Congress leader Anil Kumar Yadav, PCC vice-president Malreddy Ranga Reddy, and others were taken into preventive custody and taken to Jubilee Hills police station, while some party workers, including Khairatabad Corporator Vijaya Reddy, were detained for holding demonstrations near the Police Command Control Center. Earlier, former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir, PCC senior vice-president Mallu Ravi, Khairatabad DCC president Rohin Reddy, and a few other Congress leaders were arrested for resisting raids on Sunil Kanugolu's office in Madhapur on Tuesday night. CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and others strongly condemned the 'high handedness' of the police. Meanwhile, the Congress filed habeas corpus petition in the High Court, contending that the whereabouts of the detained some employees working in Sunil’s war room were unknown by evening. [ad_1] Tribal sentiment is tearing the Labour Party apart in Kogi State. In this report we take a look at the crisis rocking the Party and the possibility of its Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi winning the State in the 2023 presidential election. The Labour Party, which happens to be one of the opposition parties to the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Kogi State, has been gradually gaining ground. However, it is now enmeshed with crisis bothering on tribal lines. Several factions have emerged in the party, which could affect their performance in the 2023 election, both at the Federal and State Government. DAILY POST gathered that the battle of who controls the party in Kogi State has taken a new twist as two major tribes feel cheated as it concerns the day to day running of the political affairs of the party in the State. People from the Central part of Kogi State are alleging that the party members from the Eastern part of Kogi State have hijacked the Labour Party. This is also the position of some aggrieved Labour Party members in the Western Senatorial Districts. A party source, who never wanted his name mentioned, described the present leadership of the Labour Party, led by Hon. Suleiman Abdul Ahmed as the biggest scam of the century. The source said, “The present leadership of Labour Party in Kogi State are jokers. They have already tribalized the Labour Party in Kogi. You can say anything because you don’t belong to their faction or tribe. “I am not seeing our party making success with this development. I overheard the Chairman speaking at a press conference that the party is not divided. These are lies. He is running away from the truth. The Labour Party in Kogi State is now an ethnic agenda. “Just look at the population of party officials that attended our presidential candidate rally on Tuesday held at the Confluence Stadium Lokoja. You would agree with me that only a few party officials loyal to the embattled Chairman were present. The National Secretariat should call the present leadership in Kogi to order before our party fails outrightly in the 2023 general election.” No Factions in Kogi Labour Party- Chairman However, the Kogi State Chairman of the Party, Hon. Suleiman Abdul Ahmed has debunked media reports that the party is now divided on ethnic lines and has several factions. Speaking to DAILY POST, Ahmed accused the ruling party of using some bad elements in the party to cause chaos. According to the Labour Party Chairman, the All Progressives Congress- led Government in Kogi State, instead of concentrating on policies that would attract development, are busy clamping down on other political parties, raising false alarm in the State. “There is no division in the Labour Party. Those saying all these are doing that for their own selfish interests. The Labour Party belongs to all Nigerians and not for a particular tribe in the State. Mischief makers are scared of the rising political profile of the Labour Party in Kogi State, so they are eager to see how they can divide the party. We also know that there are people who are paid by the incumbent. “People who have ruled this State and ruined it, people who for so many years have not been paying salaries. Even when they try to pay, they will pay it in percentage. People who have also made up their minds that the State should go into retrogression, instead of progress. They already know that the people will reject them at the poll, all that is paramount to them is to cause disunity in the party,” he added. PCC, State Executive to be summoned to Abuja Sources within the Labour Party have indicated that the Presidential Campaign Councils in Kogi State, alongside the State Executive will be summoned to Abuja to give an account of how funds were spent on Mr. Peter Obi’s campaign in Kogi State. According to the source, Obi was not happy with what he saw when he visited Kogi State on Tuesday. The source had accused the party executive of syphoning funds meant for the success of the presidential campaign of the Labour Party.
The source said, “Hell will soon let loose in the Labour Party in Kogi State. I can confirm to you that the PCC of the Labour Party in Kogi, alongside the State Executive will be invited to Abuja to tell the world how they spent money used for our campaign in Kogi State. “Just look at the low turnout yesterday. It was due to their poor preparation and lack of mobilisation across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State. “These People collected millions of naira from the National Secretariat but had nothing to show for it. I feel they are working for the APC and the PDP in Kogi State to win the election instead of our Party. We can’t continue like this. The Party is really divided, and it is time for the national Secretariat to intervene quickly before the Labour Party loses Kogi State in 2023.” [ad_2]

2023 Election tribunal: Tinubu receives Atiku, Obi’s petitions
Tumblr media
The camp of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has disclosed that they were officially served on Tuesday with copies of the petitions filed at the election tribunal by Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar. The development is coming one week after Obi and Atiku formally filed their petitions to the elections tribunal to protest the outcome of the February 25 poll. Their petitions came four weeks after the contentious presidential and National Assembly elections that produced the President-elect. Both the PDP and LP candidates had accused Tinubu of deliberately avoiding being served the petitions. In the complaints filed before the tribunal, they alleged that several attempts made to serve the petitions on the APC candidate proved abortive. The Legal Director of Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Babatunde Ogala, also admitted in a phone chat on Monday that his principal was not served with any notice before he travelled out of the country for vacation in France last week. In a phone chat with our correspondent, the spokesman for the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Yunusa Tanko, had lamented that, “That man (Tinubu) practically ran out of the country after evading being served the notice. But our party will serve him the notice through the APC. I am sure they must have received it by now.” Obi and Atiku’s legal teams later obtained leave to serve the petitions on Tinubu by substituted means, i.e. via the APC. Speaking with The PUNCH on Thursday, Ogala disclosed that the camp of the President-elect officially received the notices on Tuesday. “Yes, we received copies of both Atiku and Obi’s petition yesterday,” he said. On when they hope to file a response in preparation for a hearing date to be given by the court, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria maintained that there was no need for them to rush. “Go and look at the laws. It says we have up till take 21 days to respond. You journalists shouldn’t put unnecessary pressure on us. I mean, how can they serve me on Tuesday and you are asking when I will file my response when I have a whole 21 days to do that? “I will suggest that you wait for the day we will file it. You will surely get to know about it,” he stated. The Spokesman for the APC PCC, Festus Keyamo, also told our correspondent that: “We are working on it.” Meanwhile, APC legal adviser, Ahmad El-Marzuq, also told The PUNCH that the ruling party had been served. “Of course, we have received the copies of the petition and we are planning to respond. We are on top of the situation,” he said. Read the full article
