Considerado o Oscar do Saneamento no Brasil, o prêmio se destina às iniciativas inovadoras e plurais em prol do acesso ao saneamento e recursos hídricos, com respeito ao meio ambiente e preparadas para o desafio da universalização no Brasil

O Comitê Nacional da Qualidade em Saneamento ABES (CNQA), da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária, realizou na manhã de quinta-feira, 20 de outubro, o webinário de anúncio das empresas elegíveis ao Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade em Saneamento (PNQS) Ciclo 2023, agraciadas pela boa gestão dos serviços do setor.

Além das selecionadas nas categorias AMEGSA (As Melhores em Gestão no Saneamento Ambiental; principal premiação) e SQFSA (Selo de Qualidade dos Fornecedores da Prestação de Serviços e Insumos de Saneamento Ambiental) do PNQS 2023, foram anunciados os cases para apresentação pública nas categorias IGS (Inovação da Gestão em Saneamento Ambiental), PEOS (Prêmio de Eficiência Operacional em Saneamento Ambiental) e PGA (Prêmio de Gestão de Ativos no Saneamento Ambiental).

O evento foi transmitido pelo canal do YouTube da ABES (confira a íntegra aqui), com a presença de Josivan Cardoso, Secretário Geral do Comitê, e de Ana Malateaux, Coordenadora Adjunta do CNQA. Considerado o Oscar do Saneamento no Brasil, o PNQS Ciclo 2023 terá a sua cerimônia de premiação durante o Seminário de Benchmarking PNQS 2023, entre os dias 19 a 21 de novembro, em Atibaia, SP. 

Em formato de bate-papo, a live foi iniciada com uma explanação de toda a premiação e a elaboração dos ciclos anuais do PNQS, que envolvem cursos, conversas e plataforma própria de mensuração por meio de indicadores. Destaque para o AMEGSA ESG, incorporado em 2022 para aplicabilidade do conceito Ambiental, Social e de Governança (da sigla em inglês para Environmental, Social and Governance) e em 2023 aplicado em todos os níveis de conhecimento e de avalição às concessionárias candidatas, que voluntariamente se empenham para alcançar a excelência.

Desde a sua criação, em 26 de PNQS, foram acumuladas grandes conquistas: mais de 700 candidaturas recebidas, com mais de 400 organizações candidatas reconhecidas e mais de 150 finalistas. Neste ano, se candidataram 36 organizações, de todas as regiões brasileiras. “Sabemos do empenho e esmero que todas as empresas candidatas ao prêmio e que participantes desse projeto tão importante e os ciclos anuais. Vale lembrar que fazemos todas as avaliações das participantes durante todo o ciclo, verificando as oportunidades de inovações de mercado e fazendo as melhorias contínuas em boas práticas”, salientou em sua fala Josivan Cardoso.

Melhoria contínua foi também o termo ressaltado por Ana Malateaux, Coordenadora Adjunta do CNQA, e entre 1988 e 2020 trabalhou na Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo (SABESP). Em sua apresentação, Ana apresentou os cases contemplados no Ciclo 2023 e frisou a importância de ouvir os participantes durante esse processo. “Os cases foram um pedido das empresas participantes no ciclo anterior e nós da ABES estamos prontos para essa escuta ativa e é uma alegria incorporar essas experiências juntamente com as selecionadas nas demais categorias, proporcionando a melhoria contínua e as oportunidades observadas”, afirmou.   

Os debatedores expuseram a importância da implantação da ferramenta PNQS para a otimização dos processos. “O PNQS demonstrou uma grande eficácia para a melhoria e gestão nas empresas de saneamento brasileiras, bem como os seus fornecedores. Os estudos do CNQA, com base em indicadores, mostraram que o uso da plataforma contribui para que as concessionárias usuárias se tornem mais eficientes em recursos financeiros, na sustentabilidade, mais eficazes na prestação de serviço e mais ágeis no atendimento aos clientes e sociedade, estando preparadas para o grande desafio que é a universalização do saneamento no país”, destacou Ana Malateaux, agradecendo às candidatas pela participação, bem como a todos os membros da ABES, incluindo as câmaras temáticas e em especial a de Indicadores de Desempenho no Saneamento Ambiental, responsável pelo Guia de Referência para Medição de Desempenho (GRMD), que faz parte do modelo do PNQS.   

Na ocasião, Josivan Cardoso leu uma mensagem deixada por Alceu Guérios Bittencourt, Presidente Nacional da ABES. “Temos a certeza que a missão da ABES é reforçada quando o PNQS e consequentemente o CNQA se fortalecem a cada ano, buscando agregar todos os atores envolvidos no processo, desde as equipes técnicas externas e internas até organizações. Ou seja, quando todos estão unidos, todos fortalecem a missão da ABES, a de levar o conhecimento e que esse conhecimento faça a transformação do dia a dia de cada organização, de cada pessoa envolvida”, escreveu Bittencourt na mensagem lida por Cardoso.    

Em seguida, foi lida a mensagem de Samanta Souza, Coordenadora Geral do CNQA. “A inclusão no PNQS de novidades e formas de agregação faz com que os desafios de cada organização participante preencham lacunas que possam ainda existir, fazendo com que a catraca da inovação se mova. Nós do CNQA agradecemos todas as candidatas que estão conosco e as que estiveram nos ciclos anteriores”, escreveu.
