Holy cow there’re a lot and I really do mean A LOT of Welcome Home AUs, and more coming too. Not saying it’s a bad thing, but it makes sense considering WH doesn’t have a lot to work with so it leaves tons of room for fans to play around with. I just hope it doesn’t get outta hand like what happened to Undertale with its AUs.

People are free to have creative liberty on what aus they wanna make- like you said there is very little canon content to munch on so people will pull a “fine I’ll do it myself” JCHFHDHU-

I personally don’t mind it as well, but I do enjoy the aus where they purposely change Wally’s height just to make him more simp-able LMAOO

Just in case, little reminder. These elections are NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. Real politics ARE NOT BEING DISCUSSED. This is first and foremost an excuse to make content and to engage in different types of it. Even if you don't agree with the ideology or project of one particular or multiple player characters every outcome is desirable as it will bring interesting things to play off of for all content creators. The main thing it will determine is not the future of the island, or the future of the federation (as I'm pretty sure this second one is almost fully set in stone) but simply who will be instigator to all this new content, and whatever the ideas, everyone deserves and is capable of being that. (and this includes EVERYONE, even the ones YOU don't personally like)

I know there is a storyline, I know it's important for a lot of you to see it advance constantly etc... But please be reminded this is a SEMI-rp server for a lot of the creators. This is how it was advertised to some of them. The events and options to choose doesn't always have to be the most logical or sensical ones in order for it to be a fun time and story. Sometimes the best choice to have fun, is the fun and dumb choice.

I highly recommend "when you think you're all alone" by MondotheBombo on Ao3. It's a totally canon-compliant fic about Jay's time on Nadakhan's ship and it is heart-wrenching, gut-punching, and overall a FANTASTIC fic. Cannot give it enough praise. Warning it is incredibly graphic and has some elements some audiences probably shouldn't read (including graphic depictions of torture, detailed descriptions of injuries, and multiple cases of attempted rape. JUST attempted though). But seriously this fic is what season 6 should've been, and even COULD'VE been (again, it is 100% canon-compliant. All it does is fill in the gaps of what we don't see, it doesn't change or delete anything that actually happens). It's also unfinished but that doesn't mean you shouldn't read it because you'd be missing out on an awesome fic. Anyway here's the link!

keeping anxiety and fear in the back of your mind, you slowly make your way through the corridor facing the entrance. each step was intensional, and as quiet as possible, but the creaks of the wooden floor and small crunches of glass fragments echoed through the abode in a way that would give your position away to anyone - or anything.

peeking into a desolate room, you check the contents with a furious anxiety. the moment you cross the threshold, a scurry of pitter-patters makes itself known, and you throw your head around desperately trying to find the source. panic. every direction was the same darkness only illuminated by a low glow. you aren't alone. this was a bad idea.

there's nothing to be gained here; you hesitate for a split-second, then, the adrenaline kicks in, and you start moving with almost a leap. the light is still peaking around the front door, there's sti-
