Mama's Boys is where Big Mama raises Leo and Donnie, and Splinter gets away with Mikey and Raph.

as to how she gets them, she really just finds them outside her hotel as tots and decides "well I guess I'm a mother now." they don't call her big mama for nothing. I have some art out of Big Mama and smol Lee and Dee, and if I ever actually decide to post that prologue on ao3 it'll have a more in depth description of how she comes across them :)

Honestly it’s just a vibe. I myself am a trans man and I tend to have a little unconventional trans headcanons because I’m more of the belief that you can’t base whether someone’s trans or not off of “hints” or “stereotypes” (this is why I tend to really dislike a lot of fandom trans headcanons particularly ones that go against the characters in show gender and pronouns)

I also just think because of how ridiculously hard it is to sex turtles IRL it would be funny if Splintwr assumed they were all boys, and Leo *also* just assumed he was a boy because that’s how he felt anyways and then found out later in life he’d been trans this whole time.

if dirk is raised by alpha dave alpha rose tells him shes enrolling dirk at hogwartsalso if dirk is raised by alpha rose basically after it comes out that hal is not in fact dirk but a soul splintwr he has to ubder go some pretty awful interrogation and they give him a potion that makes enchantments fall apart and he doesnt die but its extremely painfulhe calls out for his mom and when alpha rose gets what happened from dirk shes there fucking ASAP and telling them there will be consequences for basically torturing someone whos not even 17"But maam, hes not even a real person, hes not your son-" "He called for me, didn't he?" and just. The entire way home and the entire experience for hal is scary because he has memories of this woman raising him and putting him to bed but the mi istiry done fucked him up and hes. Constantly getting upset because he doesnt understand why this woman would willingly give a shit about him...shes just. she tells hal that hes still her son, just a little different, nd theyll figure it out
