ohhhhhh god this is psychological warfare... thank you so much for the ask comrade <3 so i haven't gotten to the colgate comedy show yet and i WILL be in the trenches for live shows on youtube because their unscripted riffing is sooo good but this is what i got so far in a sort of general way... special mention to the dino cumshot gag in you're never too young

1. any time either of them breaks it's sooooo wonderful to watch people who make each other laugh so bad that they forget their lines. like when jerry makes fun of dean's nosejob by saying "thank you father of a new nose" to dean and he breaks so hard he shouts to jerry (who's now off-stage) "you threw me off!" or the skit where jerry bites a guy and dean is fighting for his life to keep a straight face etc

2. the mirador shower photoshoot. dean martin hanging dong TWICE... jerry tasteful nudes?... well i don't know why it happened but love is love

3. i looove their performance of every street's a boulevard in new york from living it up it's one of their songs where they complement eachother really well

4. the live performance where they apologize for their feud and promise to keep doing shows (😞) and then the curtains close and then open to them fistfighting and then close and then open to them hugging and then closes and then opens to them groping each other and some guy trying to break it up. i think that ultimately the american public just wanted to see these guys fuck nasty but the hays code prohibited it from happening on the colgate comedy hour

5. ough so many other moments but for some reason i love the end of the caddy where jerry's like "we got it real bad ain't we dean?" its just a cute moment :^(

well you didn’t give me a character, so i’ll go with keith bc that’s my guy: he is clingy as fuck. i make this no secret in my writing but listen. listen. dude has abandonment issues. pushes people away before they can leave him because he doesn’t want to go through that heartbreak again. once he begins healing and lets people lance in again? once he learns to trust again? dude is all over people. but ONLY the people he trusts. and that pool is so so so small (first it’s shiro and adam. then lance. and eventually the rest of team voltron but that’s it. but he LOVES IT he just has a very hard time admitting it)

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

anyway there were many instances specifically in the deceit so natural trilogy where i was mean on purpose. every little “nothing is going to happen to us” / “i’m not letting us get separated again” / any variant of that sort of reassurance was all heavy-handed foreshadowing and also being a bitch. a mean little bitch.

also keith and lance were supposed to reunite in chapter 15 of stars go down but in a move equal measures me having adhd, me being a pantser, and me being a little bitch, i decided to prolong the separation another 16 chapters instead. 

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

so first of all. as far as themes go: trust and betrayal. huge ones. mostly from my own unresolved trauma bc by god do i need a therapist, but trust and betrayal are huge. 

this one is more so my original writing than my fics (but my fics, too. this happened in squad up and deceit so natural), but exes who are The Worst who are out to ruin your life. because, again: i need a therapist

always love some good space imagery, but also fire and water come up frequently bc of keith and lance. [jack voice] IT’S FUCKING KLANCE AGAIN. 

and also i started doing this thing that comes up a lot where if lance and keith specifically are having a heart-to-heart conversation, lance literally holds keith’s hand to his heart. i don’t know when, why, or how this started, but it’s just a thing now

2.) Which background do they have? How does it play into their story? (and if you're doing a durge playthrough, how did your tav come to be the haunted one?)

Solkaria has the outlander background! After being spared by the goddess Eldath, while the rest of her village was destroyed by invaders, she searched for a purpose. She developed a deep connection with the forest and all of its creatures, so her background mainly plays into her being a druid (and also her poor social skills shfdsk). 7.) Typical party lineup?

Solkaria always brings Astarion and Gale along, and while the third member is almost always Lae'zel, it varies depending on the situation.

13.) Does your Tav willingly do the "silly" options?

It definitely depends on the option, but she definitely kissed the goblin's foot and slid the ring off skjfd, and she almost always picks the sassy dialogue options unless its a serious situation with her companions.

20.) Does your Tav have a best friend in the party? What's their dynamic like?

She DOES have a bestie and it happens to be 💜Gale💜. Solkaria grew pretty close to Gale since they share a lot of similar opinions on how to deal with hurdles that come their way, and they develop a deep trust in each other. They're both a little sassy a little salty and willing to choose violence if they feel like it (most of the time skhfds).

1. eric is very competitive however he is also a very sore loser. he once lost to mabel in mario kart and then proceeded to play it non stop until he became “unbeatable” (aka he basically sulked for an entire week and wouldn’t let anyone else play on the switch)

2. also related to the last fact, he mostly plays as diddy kong in mario kart!

3. if you followed me on my other acc you will already know this however, eric loves raccoons and before him mabel and olive adopted their golden lab zelda, he desperately wanted a raccoon named rocket!! he eventually came around and said that they could get a dog, if he could name the dog. they’re now the best of buds and zelda is literally always by his side (he’s like a dad who says no we can’t get a dog, and then ends up being the one who loves the dog the most and gives the dog the most treats haha)
