You’re so right, they have SUCH a special dynamic, and often I find it frustrating with real life ships bc it’s not like with films where though characters can be deep they have a specific kind of basis to them which fits a role. Real people are so complex and so it’s not 24/7 that someone gets them so right that you feel like you’re watching a segment of their lives (milex writers in general do tend to have an uncanny ability to write them brilliantly) but with you it feels like everything you write can just be added on to their actual interactions and it’s perfection.

I’m so so pleased that my ramblings had an impact on getting your confidence back to heights it should be at because I rlly can’t explain how brilliant you and your writing are so thank you thank you for all the work you put into it. I’m SO EXCITED for the next chapter 🥰🥰🥰🥰 and one day I’m gonna go into the absolute insane perfection that is the sex scene in chapter 8 bc the realism, build up, and EMOTIONS as well as pure sexyism (almost put sexism there which wasn’t quite right 😂) is just one of the best and sauciest things I’ve ever read.

Hi! Hey! Hello! I just finished chapter 7 of Celestial Sundown and oh my! It was fenomenal!

I love that CSDy/n is getting more and more comfy in relationship with sun! They are getting bolder and trust each other more! Sun getting into their room is showing the big progress and trust on both parts! I don't know how CSDy/n but for me to tolerate someone in my room is a big thing. I see it was caused by his anxiety but still its the barrier they crossed one way or the other. It was so lovely and well written, what CSDy/n went through was traumatic and painful but while reading I couldn't stop think about the horrors Sun went through this entire time. If everything is okay with him the prayer should get to him and, correct me if I'm wrong, from what I understood the exact words won't come through It but the feelings and some basic meaning will be send to the God.

Therefore he could easily understood something went terribly wrong, not only that but the prayer suddenly stopped, He is far away, and from what I get without his crown he cannot teleport or manifest in different places. What happened? Are they scared? Hurt? Or maybe it was false alarm! They got scared prayed for him, and then they realised there is no danger so they stopped! But then the other call was sent and I bet If the first didn't, this one send him running. Not only that, the time has passed so he wasn't sure what state they are in, if all this time they were in danger, but the urgency of the prayer expanded. Did something happened in the house? Was it the woman he showed himself to? Why he can't go any faster? I'm sure at this time he would curse himself out... For needing to see this mural. For not waiting for the morning so they can go with him. For being so weak. If he had his crown he could do something, and now he was useless, couldn't even get to this damn forest as fast as he wanted. He is so slow. Are they hurt? Are they dead? Did the thing that attacked him came back to finish the job and found them instead? He knew them, they wouldn't panic like that over something small. They wouldn't call him for something small. The terrified calls of their heart would be fuel for him to keep going. And what would he find getting back? The empty house, with the doors left wide open. He knew something bad happened but for them to leave their beloved belongings exposed like that it was worse then he hoped. And if your shredded blanket covered with human blood, nearby was telling anything it wasn't getting better. They helped him so much, they still are trying to get him home. And he wasn't there. He should have been there. He just had to be emotional again hadn't he? What to do now? Where to go? Their prayers stopped. Is he alone again? He can't locate them. Are they alive? Mortals are fragile, and there is blood nearby but no human, no. The blood of one of his kind, a big puddle. He had to do something, he searched this forest for so long with them, he had to manage! Had to find his friend. And the trail of blood left on trees and ground was the perfect start.

SECTION 2: ZADDY! Mitch the baby leaf & His Team of (ex-) Leaf Dads. (aka Mitch anytime he meets a man even 1 day older than him: Hello are u my dad? HI DAD)

So i think it’s important to preface this section with the note that Mitch has a definite habit of attaching himself to any older player he can consider a father figure/older brother. He says things like “he takes care of me,” or “I feel taken care of,” or “I feel protected,” when talking about these teammates, which makes it ABUNDANTLY clear that Mitch really really really wants to feel protected and safe (wats mitch’s love language? just being a little dude!). I’m not going to psychoanalyze here… but I do think it’s interesting that Mitch’s dad is notorious for being a “Hockey Dad” who pushed Mitch relentlessly on and off the ice, and has antagonized himself somewhat in the media and from the Maple Leafs team for toxic behavior. (For reference, I’ll just share This documentary about Mitch when he was really young ) I know Mitch loves his dad and that Mitch wouldn’t be where he is without that passion and sacrifice from his parents, and I cannot IMAGINE everything Mitch’s dad did to help Mitch get where he is in his career. But at the same time, Mitch’s hunger for older supportive father figures who will “protect” and “take care of” him seems much more pronounced than any other athlete i’ve followed. Their relationship is actually the cutest fucking thing and i may scream right now in this club. The most important part of Their Lore is that when Mitch was a rookie, the Leafs’ then coach Mike Babcock did this terrible thing of asking Mitch to rank all his teammates (literally ALL older and more experienced than him) by work ethic. Babcock presumably did this to teach Mitch that Mitch needed to work harder, but my GOD, what an incredibly shitty thing to do to a rookie. Anyway, Mitch made this list and put himself down last, which is probably what Babcock intended. THe real shitty thing Babcock did though was to TELL the Leafs that Mitch ranked in the bottom 3 that MITCH RANKED THEM IN THE BOTTOM 3. Again, I cannot emphasize enough - what the fuck and WHY would you do this to a rookie who’s trying to adjust to the NHL and fit into the team??? Anyway, to give massive amounts of credit to the Leafs here (because we know of a lot of toxic lockerrooms that would not have done the same), they all defended Mitch (who literally cried when this happened because of course you would!). Matt Martin, however, got HEATED in particular and apparently got into a fight with Babcock that escalated so much that other teammates needed to intervene. Apparently this massive break in the relationship between Babcock and Matt Martin was one of the factors that led to Matt Martin getting traded to the Islanders soon after. But anyway, they still seem to be close (Mitch went to Matt Martin’s wedding; Matt Martin LITERALLY wears a Mitch jersey - NOT FROM HIS MAPLE LEAFS DAYS BUT FROM MITCH’S PRE-NHL LONDON KNIGHTS DAYS; Matt Martin wore a chain/necklace with Mitch’s jersey number - 16 - on it at his own wedding. gonna use SOOPITS for this question as well! in terms of chapters that are already posted, for what i wanted to write:

keith's almost assassination. i had been sitting on that for YEARS. that chapter started as a oneshot idea shortly after s3 aired (and the fandom put together in like 5 minutes that "shiro" was a clone). the oneshot never came to fruition, and then when i started SOOPITS i realized i needed to use it. desperately. the broganes angst. the klance angst. the chaos of "oh okay so we just have a secret assassin on our ship drifting in space. cool cool cool". very among us. i tried to write an among us oneshot a few years later during late 2020 and then realized that was essentially the entire s5-6 arc

the s6 finale (6.06 & 6.07). i had the ending of s6 planned FOREVERRRR i had the scene of lance in the black lion in my mind for YEEAAARSSSSS i had the keith & lance vs kuron + shiro vs sendak fights in my head FOREVERRRR i would constantly make music videos in my head to those chapters on my walks to class for a good 2 or 3 years. i dearly miss walking across the quad with starset or the score or hidden citizens blasting in my head.

the KEITH BREAKDOWN in OPERATION KURON (6.05). another chapter i had rattling around in my mind for years. like hey it sure is fucked up that your older brother is actually a clone who tried to kill you! you know all those walls you had up? it is NOT going to be enough to hold this breakdown off. MAN. MAN

hardest scene? the goddamn TRIAL. before the current chapter which is giving me grief (gameshow rewrite), the trial chapter took me AGES. i started it in like september 2019. by the time i updated it, it was ten months later. july 2020. covid had started. everyone's lives were in shambles. i rewrote it dozens of times. i watched judge judy as "research." i had extensive talks with nicole. i hated writing that chapter so bad but i feel like the ending was rewarding enough

so i actually do have a reliable answer for this. keith and lance almost always have a very "us against the world" kind of mindset in my fics, and i guess someone reading one of my fics one time didn't look at the author that closely and realized it was me when they did their whole "you and me" "us against the world" shtick so. devoted klance ig! disgustingly in love dumbasses!

Minghao doesnt want to wait until one of you dies or watch you raise a kid with his enemy (who made up all of this arranged marriage bullshit to make him unsuccessful in his duty) so he kills him with the help of one of the most powerfull magic users, Wen Junhui. Who is also a close friend of yours from the start, not to mention he always helped him find your trace.

After getting a call from Junhui about how his enemy is tied up with chains that are unbreakable and ready to get killed. He approchs you and the second your eyes tear up he knows you remember it all, just like in your previous lifes. (Actually i was planning on making you unable to remember but then this would get even longer, didnt wanna bother you too much)

He kisses you just like this is your first and last kiss, like he havent kissed you for thousands of years and he wont be able to kiss you again. When he lays you down on the bed you had share with his enemy he makes sure the phone is neatly put on the nightstand because he wants to make sure that excuse of a man hears your every noise.

starting with a vocaloid song of course we are lmao. there’s actually 2 ways you can read this song (that i’ve seen, though more than that exist im sure) — the first is more akin to the actual intent of the song which is talking more about and alluding to yandere undertones of obsessive love even if it doesn’t seem Real. the second and the one that i associate with dearest narcissus spokes from paramour/prim & provocative is a more Literal reading of certain aspects of the song. she’s terrified to be alone, she wants people to love her and think that she’s important, she doesn’t want people to abandon her—but to others outside her it seems like an attention grab or fake etc etc. but she means it she’s genuine she just doesn’t know how else to ask for love because no one’s ever really given it to her.

(she’s also arospec if that means anything either)

i really ADORE ado’s vocals in this song because it really captures the RANGE of emotions that narci is feeling. pleading, sweet, enraged, manipulative, sincere—it’s everything all at once. a lot of this energy is definitely directed at myrtus (her ex husband) at first, but it is genuinely how she feels about the world. she feels discarded and abandoned by it (and has been a bit) and she doesn’t know what she’s doing Wrong to make people never give her the time of day or love her.

i’m a sucker for bridges. also this cover is so insanely good.

this entire cover is actually the beginning band sequence (after maverick quits the band) to my wip LuKEWARM ReJECTION — it represents the band’s best and most hard worked on song; maverick’s (the ex lead singer’s) magnum opus. it took them nearly a year to perfect it, and as di somberly thinks when they get up on stage for the battle of the bands with their new short notice fill in lead singer toph, there’s no way in fuck they’ll be able to pull this off. toph hadn’t even had time to practice. they get onstage, make their intros, and then they start off the chords for the song.

and toph just blows it out of the water.

his voice is better, stronger, more emotional, more star like than anything maverick has ever TOUCHED and as they roll through the whole set toph just knocks the pants off of everyone including the band! it should be a momentous moment but for di it’s so so SO bitter because he and maverick were dating and he not only left the band, he left di, and you just can’t get over that with the snap of your fingers.

but i LOOOOVE this song as an opening too bc toph deadass thinks these lyrics are so juvenile LMAO it’s the first fight he and di get into after the performance bc he disses the song and di still has emotions high so they start arguing. how dare you call my boyfriend my ex’s magnum opus garbage!!! and toph is all these lyrics were written by a washed up pop star wdym (which hits better for my imagination since the loveless version IS a cover lmao and for me personally, the lyrics aren’t hella compelling i moreso like the bridge for the singer bc his voice MAAAN it’s so good)

i got this song on a couple of playlists but most recently i was thinking about this song in the context of betwixt thumb and forefinger and it really makes me think of sjaak. like he really doesn’t ask for 99.9% of the shit he’s going through and his reactions are horrible but understandable. the background sound and the vibes and the emphasis on the i never wanted this for us is literally him @ biscella and you can’t convince me otherwise.

the other person i’m thinking about with this song is arden from red death & the oracle’s favor, our favorite scorned prince. but instead of like sjaak and it be him talking to someone else, this song for him is more like him talking to himself. he never wanted this responsibility placed on his shoulders and he plays the part but it’s so hard to on some days — how does he survive? he doesn’t know.

no, but i have the opposite actually. i hated The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou except for the ending. i genuinely loved the ending and it almost made the boring earlier 2/3 of the movie worth it. ALMOST

i literally JUST finished watching Lady in the Water which i thought was silly but fun!!! giving very much middle-grade novel vibes

HOOOOOOOOOO OH MY GODDDDDDD so my husband and i went to see a mystery movie the other night and we were like "haha what if it's argylle tehehe" and instead it was this movie called Origins which is both a dramatization of a sociology book on race (ok fine) and a partial biography on the author (weird choice, but ok) and it was soooo fucking bad. Like. Trying to say something profound about how systems of caste oppress us but instead said nothing at all and it felt like such a shitty vanity project for the author. Genuinely one of the worst movie I've ever seen
