Found you here after reading Friends with benefits series on AO3. You are the queen and I loooove you writing!

My question is about the Separation Anxiety part. Will you continue updating the story?

Yes! Absolutely!

I screwed myself over a bit when I originally blocked out the chapters because it turns out I'm balls at following a script. Half of Seperation Anxiety is already somewhat written because it happened on the twitter RP accounts. So much character growth happened for the book boys there that most of my readers never got to see. Now I can't write TTWBAD2 without addressing this gap because the book boys are in a much different place than they were at the end of TTWBAD. Trust me when I say TTWBAD2 needs to start with them all in a better position or it's gonna be an angstier story than what I want to I write...

So I took out a spreadsheet and figured out what key scenes were needed and then tried to shoehorn some tv boy stuff in there to bring them along for the ride aaaaaannnnnd can you believe it didn't work?!?

So after many conversations with my very patient beta reader, then periods of me hiding or wallowing because I didn't follow the advice of my very patient beta reader, I'm finally understanding that I can't plan these chapters out. I need to let it grow organically. It means letting go of the exact path the twitter book boys took, while still holding to the spirit of it, and to stop overthinking it.

The other end of things was that IRL got banger nuts this summer and only went GANGER FUTS in September when I was told I had 2 months to complete my Scouter training instead of my promised 12 (!!!)

Then I promised myself some stuff for Patreon in October that I've already had to widdle down. Then, last week, I got a head cold which turned me into a literal puddle of goo, incapable of writing or drawing due Tommy lack of cohesive form.

But GOOD NEWS

It turns out I'm further ahead in my Scouter training than I thought and I don't have to panic after all (long story), and it turns out I was doing Inktober-esque collections backwards and working too hard (long story (of my life)) and here's the best part!!

I'm visiting my parents in New Brunswick this week for Thanksgiving (Canada) and this means I'll be away from my very big (and very distracting) drawing tablet. I'm using this downtime to get back to writing and letting the story happen however it wants. With any luck I'll update soon with a story and nonsensical and meandering as this answer to your ask!

(sorry for the nonsensical and meandering answer.)

I heard Book!Crowley and Book!Zira will be playing over here in the future. Do they have separate accounts, and if so, what are their handles?

I could make them their own accounts but unfortunately when I answer asks in character that way it still reads as coming from my main handle which will only confuse everyone. I haven't figured out a way to RP with different accounts on Tumblr and suspect it has probably been made this difficult to discourage it for some reason.

The current plan is to answer any character-directed asks on this account with either a cartoon, or a short script style story (similar to how the Twitter RP threads would read.)

I'm still so disappointed about what happened to Twitter, but I'm hopeful that I'll find a way to RP the TTWBAD characters here.

If you want to send any of them a message (or specifically pester Anthony) you can do so at any time and I'll send the answer asap.

I have finally decided exactly what how I'm going to in incorporate S2 into the Troubleverse & I'm actually pretty happy with the way it's fitting. I'm going to be fighting the angst pretty much constantly, in hopes of keeping the overall tone of the story light and silly but I've got it figured out and can hopefully now proceed apace.

I'm sorry that the pace I'm going apace at is such a terrible pace.

I miiiiiiight need to write an angsty one shot to let some of the shreiking wraiths out of my brain before I get much farther into ttwbad's world building though or its just going to be angst and whump all the way across the sky and nobody wants that...

My TTWBAD Halloween Party Costume Pick Pics and the Original Costumes they’re based on!

Oct 27. Sexy Bat Red (TV Crowley).

Lemme tell you a story about this costume choice because there is a story.

There were so many excellent sexy bat costumes to choose from, although sadly, not a single one marketed towards masc bodies. Still, I picked this one for Red because I really like the design and I knew he’d look stunning in it. 

Then a twitter follower sent me another sexy bat number (which was basically string lingerie with bats on it) and I have to admit I immediately tossed this costume out in favour of the lingerie because… WOW!

But THEN it turned out I couldn’t do my original plan for the 31st and I had to pick a single character to do NSFW. The results from various polls favoured Red for that lucky subject, and suddenly that stringy bat number got a new sexy life in the NSFW picture. That means my original bat costume can boogie on down with Red here! I love it when things fall together like that.

Apologies to the aforementioned twitter follower for not crediting you here. My memory is a rusty colander. If you are reading this, please feel free to identify yourself in the comments and take your bows. I’ll be happy to credit your find when it’s revealed on the 31st)
