ooc: first red flag ships
So, anyone remember those first big old red flag ships you had? Whether it was yaoi/Yuri or het?? I used to think that I didn’t begin liking those dark themed romances, with tragic and very flawed, sometimes violent and borderline yandere/obsessed ships until I was a teen teaching adult hood…
but I was wrong. Something has brought up to me the VERY first ship that I liked as a kid. One I thought ‘maybe if x felt love, actual love, and wasn’t lonely… maybe things would be different.’
and tgat ship…
is Harry MacDougall and Melfina
yep…. I kinda want to put Melfina on my muse list now. 😂

His lips brushed her hand, drawing it out for as long as possible, longer than was considered decent. All the while he never took his eyes off her. It caused her stomach to flutter. She’d be lying if she said that a part of her wasn’t flattered by his attention.
”It’s a pleasure to meet you, princess.”
His velvet voice was very smooth and pleasant.
”Likewise.”
The smile he bestowed upon her then seemed kind enough, although she got the sense that there was something more to it. Something that she couldn't quite grasp, even though she tried.

‘and in my eyes, there is a tiny dancer watching over me.’
you could never sleep properly, there was an urge to leave this hell of a whole called the borderland. the mere thought of you on the verge of death didn’t startle you; the thought of chishiya leaving alone did. you made friends at the beach and very much foes. you enjoyed the company you had from kuina arisu and usagi. you were alone now. maybe it wasn’t a good idea to separate from the group.
running from the king of spade was though, you weren’t sure if you truly did want to risk your life to get into some car. you were more headstrong and empathetic yet stern at the beach. that made you let out a small chuckle. after playing many diamonds and heart games the itching burn made you want to leave more.
the black jacket you found comfort in had gotten dirty so you tossed it getting a new one, the skirt had been flowing in the winds slight breeze, your hair had been the least of your worries to keep maintained, messy yet you still felt beautiful. you were kicking the pebbles on the ground, a frown formed on your lips. chishiya was the only person you could think about there was nobody else, you knew your family were fine since they were out of japan but chishiya. every night you wished for you to get out of this place faster.
the sun beaming down made you hiss slightly, a sting coming from your swollen slept deprived eyes. covering the sun with your arm. you squinted your eyes to see arisu and what looked like niragi. a frown formed on your lips quickly yet quietly walking your way to arisu. “what’s happening?!” you yelled at arisu, he simply pointed to the gun next to you. nodding you grabbed it waiting for the right time to shoot niragi.
the burning hatred you had for this man was unreal. all the things he did to women was disgusting, he was the biggest reason you want to kill someone. niragi’s laugh boomed loudly in the area, a scowl escaped arisu’s mouth as you just inhaled sharply being aware of your surroundings.
you tried shooting when he was laughing but you were a tad bit too far to the right, your face twitched in annoyance. “seriously?! is that the best you can do? that’s so disappointing and..” “sad.” the pause in the sentence gave you time to calm yourself. “come on!” “shoot me!” “or are you too much is pussys to do that?” niragi licked the metal part of his gun like it’s his. arisu was very much shaking, you shot arisu a look that told him to calm down or we can die here.
“arisu im going to need you to pull yourself together or this can be the end of us!” you whispered yelled, arisu looked at you his uneasy breath was obvious; he was redeeming himself though. the air was filled became thicker and musty, niragi’s laugh was very much vibrating the air as he carelessly shot the cars. you rolled your eyes, he was seriously getting on your nerves and you just wanted to kill him.
the sound of feet walking alerted you, losing up the gun you put your hand on the trigger, pointing to the direction. you were about to shoot until you noticed the short brown hair, “usagi?” your question sounded more like a statement. arisu turned his head to happy to see usagi.
he wanted to drop everything to go to her but he knew he couldn’t, “what’s going on here?” usagi questioned looking at you arisu and niragi with guns point at eachother. “well isnt this interesting” niragi let out a wicked smile shooting two bullets towards usagi.
“USAGI WATCH OUT” arisu screamed towards her, the girl couldn’t move fast enough; her leg was injured. a gulp was viable and the sign of anguish watched over her. “fuck it.” you snarled under your breath running over to usagi stepping in front if her. a bullet above your chest and the other one in your stomach, arisu took the chance to shoot niragi in the stomach before running over to you.
the fall to the ground was rough but you couldn’t subside it from the pain of being shot. usagi’s face grew worry on it as she held your head in her hands. tears brimmed her face, “why would you do that..” hee eyes examined your body, you had a fox like grin on your face. “something told me i should” your breathing stopped slightly before you exhaled deeply, “plus i wouldn’t want the lovers to be separated~” you couldn’t help but crack a joke at the moment.
usagi slapped you lightly on the shoulder, you looked over to arisu, “i don’t know how critical these are..” you paused giving him a smile, “but please different the queen of hearts for me.” arisu nodded before resting your head on a jacket he found in the ground; grabbing usagi as they headed to different the queen.
you can feel more and more blood come out, some worry washed over you letting out a small laugh, the laugh turned into small crys. tears formed your eyes as the pain worsened, hands were shaken but you couldn’t help but laugh. as night approached your eyes grew slightly heavy. you didn’t know if it was because you were tired or because you were losing too much blood.
your bangs stuck onto your forehead as the sweat mixed with the cold air, breeze washed over. you looked up to the sky to see fireworks. a smile washed over your face, you can finally go home, you can see your chishiya. tears fell down your cheek; you did it. “niragi if you are sadly still alive,” yn grew a grin as tears rolled down her cheeks, “i hope you go to hell.” she closed her eyes as the darkness consumed her.

chishiya had clocked in for work grabbing himself a coffee, a black coffee. he didn’t mind it but it was definitely not his favorite. he only drank it to keep himself awake, the bitterness washed over his tongue making his face scrunch in disgust.
finishing the small cup he tossed it out heading over to his next patient, he had plans with you today, they were going to go on a picnic together but chishiya got busy per usual resulting in you just going to the cafe.
chishiya sped through patients hoping it could make time go faster but it just didn’t. he headed back to the hospitals cafe to get another coffee, he felt tired. as he grabbed his new cup of coffee he looked towards the now loud commotion building; walking over to one of the nurses who had been watching in distress. “what happened?” his rasp liked voice had made the nurse jump in surpise before looking back at him.
“oh they’re the poor unlucky souls that got hit with the meteor.” her frown was evident, sadness in her eyes. “when was this?” his eyebrows furrowed as he scratched his head, “it happened around 5 minutes ago..” her lips agaped before closing it and shaking her head looking down at her phone.
he took his phone out his pocket to see if you had texted him back but you never did, a displeased look washed over him. you were never one to leave him on delivered for more than five minutes heck even ten, but almost twenty? he figured something was up. as he looked up he noticed a figure that looked oddly fimilar to him, as he looked closely the person had the same matching necklace as chishiya.
his breathing bitches, the lifeless body laying on the stretcher. the medics hurrying the bloody bruised girl to a room to hook her up. chishiya felt his feet start walking towards the girl. the walking went to a sprint, the sprint went to a full on jog. his hands weren’t even in his pocket. his phone was clutched in his hand with a picture of both of them on his lockscreen.
looking from the outside chishiya could see a boy’s lifeless body and yours. his eyes rested on the heart monitor that stopped beeping and went cold for a minute; his eyes winded slightly. breathed hitched. his lips turned into a downward frown. he didn’t want to believe what he saw, he wanted to think it was fake. he didn’t want to believe you were gone from him.
he was intently watching from the windows, he ignored even the slightest hi’s and hellos, his eyes were fixated on you. after countless defibrillator attempts they were finally able to get your heart back on track. they hooked you up quickly before exiting to other patients rooms. as the doctors and nurses left he slipped his way into the room closing it on his way in.
the curtain for the other patient was closed so it didn’t matter to him, he didn’t care for them he cared for you. he looked at the monitor before looking back at you. his hand brushed the messy strands off your face, his hand intertwined with yours. he placed small kisses all over it.
he was mumbling sweet nothings to your sleep body, this was way of hoping you would wake up soon. he had closed his eyes calming himself. he didn’t like stress, he felt your hand slightly twitch making his eyes flare right open.
ılıl﹔ ◌ 𓂂 ˳⁺ 🦢 ꯭ ⊹ ⋆ ࣪
your eyes opened slowly as a bright light beamed through the windows and the ceiling, hissing at it you quickly close your eyes. opening them back slowly you felt someone’s hand holding onto your, looking to the right you can see him and in his glory.
a small smile formed on your face as you put your other hand on his cheek, “chishiya..” a roughed voice escaped your lips, you didn’t know if this was real or if this was still the borderlands. you quickly look down to see your bandaged wounds; your head slowly looked back up at the happy chishiya.
“i was wondering why you didn’t text me back” he smiled moving your palm to his lips placing a soft kiss. “well i didn’t expect me to die yet” you countered back. chishiya let out a soft short laugh. you were still debating if this was truly real or just a dream. a single tear rolled down your cheek as you felt chishiya’s loving kisses warm your hand.
“how long was i out?” you questioned, you spent basically 4 months in the boderlands so she’d like the time here as well. “your heart stopped for a minute..” your eyes has widened slightly as the words, lips agaped. closing your eyes you let in another small breathe before looking at chishiya.
“i have so much to tell you chishi..” you moved your hand around his neck pulling him closer, nose touching eachother, your smile was brighter than he could ever remember.
“i’m sure you do..” his cat like grin formed onto his face—leaning closer he kissed you ever so slowly. a gentle slow kiss that had so much passion in it. you smiled into the kiss, oh how much you missed his touch. you pulled him closer to you lightly to deepen the kiss.
the kiss was short yet sweet, his hand still connected to yours. he licked his lips as his eyes stared into your tired ones, “next time stay home” a small like smile formed on his lips. “alright doctor~”

Is it me or dose Pink RS and Toxic Princess from the princess’ jewels feel similar
Note the authors in two different webcomics are different, RS has an unhealthy celebrity crush and a Lolita Fetish and while the Princess’ Jewels author Alove is a disgusting human being and she is a pedo.
Both of them are sexy and beautiful Mary Sue girl boss and they show toxic femininity and girls look up to them as role models, for example Pink RS bullies all the nymphs for liking her man meat and Toxic Princess treats men like toys and she forced one of them to join her “Jewelry Box” and she bullies and fat shames her fiancé (because he’s not hot).
They have beautiful art style and cute clothes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Red guy with great personality and he’s a 10, but He’s a simp to the main Mary girl.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look we got POC with no personality and not treating them like they are real humans and they are there for points (sick)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The only likable characters (don’t know about Toxic Princess’ mother though)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We got toxic relationships like Christian Blue and Pink RS, and Toxic Princess and her poor Jewels.
Sex sense that some how not getting censored or banned from breaking Webtoons rule which is no sexual themes and romanticize abuse and it is on app that is for kids to look at.
Another girl boss like Hera and Yellow queen who are friends with the main girls who are way worse then them.
And again they are the role models of very young girls to up to which it’s bad, because there are no beautiful, sexy and girly female characters in today’s American entertainment and they flat out go to Webtoon, because they have beautiful and sexy female characters on here, so they can look up and they look up Pink RS and Toxic Princess, because they are pretty and didn’t look past their pretty faces to see how awful they are. If you want to look up to any female characters then I would recommend you to watch Japanese anime and read manga, because they have a hand full of amazing writing female characters who are feminine and the opposite of a Mary Sue/Toxic feminine here are the list.
Mitsuri from Demon Slayer
Eve from ROR
Duck/Princess Tutu from Princess Tutu
Nana Komatsu from Nana
Yor Forger from Spy x Family
Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon from Sailor Moon
Najika Kazami from Kitchen Princess
Anise Yamamoto from Kiss of the Rose Princess
Kaede Sayano and Yoruka Hanzawa from Magical Girl Apocalypse
Diamond (I know that she dosen’t have a gender in the manga and anime and I only see her as female) from Land of the Lustrous
Rem from Rezero
Lum from Urusei Yatsura
Ami from Ultra Cute
Kuon Shinzaki from High-Rise Invasion
Yammy (just kidding) is Komi from Komi can’t communicate
Yumeko Jabami (kinda) from Kakegurui
And many more

Lovers to Enemies-- Chishiya x Reader (Pt 2)
Read Part 1
===============================================
The card. He took the card and left and so I was left with nothing.
To say everything seemed grim would be an understatement.
I walked outside the flaming interior of the Beach to find Arisu commemorating the dead. Noble for someone who was condemned by the very people he now tried to honor.
"Hey," I said walking over to Arisu and Usagi.
"You're alive," Usagi smiled and gave me a side-hug. In her eyes there was an unspoken sense of trauma from what we both had gone through.
"What do you think comes next?" Arisu asked, staring absentmindedly at the roaring flames which consumed the Beach.
The flames licked upward, destroying what had been our former utopia. The air was filled with a light smoke that reminded me of cigarettes every time I inhaled. It wasn't exactly unpleasant, but it felt like an appropriate reminder of the ones who had fallen.
"It could be more games." A familiar voice joined our conversation and we all turned to find An standing behind us, limping with Kuina at her side.
"God, I hope not," Kuina said.
"Are you okay?" Usagi exclaimed and chattered with the others over Kuina's injuries. Apparently she had gotten involved with Last Boss in a Karate fight to protect An. I never knew Kuina had done the sport.
The only thing I had known about Kuina was that she was close with Chishiya. I frequently saw him whispering to her during the Beach. She stayed away from me mostly. I never played games with her either.
"You're not-- with him right?" Arisu said slowly, breaking the flow of the conversation. For a second I paused, racking my thoughts to find who he was talking about until I realized who the "him" was.
"Chishiya? Hell no. I'm so sorry to you both for what he did to you. I wish it could've worked out another way," her voice trailed off as the others began to comfort her. But she never denied having any involvement in the plan.
She always knew, then.
I drifted off to the sound of soft whispers between the survivors of the Beach. Before I fully fell asleep, I could've sworn I saw the ghost of a white hoodie on the outskirts of the makeshift campground that vanished.
-------------------------------------------------
An's prediction echoed in my ears as the collar clicked around my neck. The robotic voice of a woman who I now had known to be Mira announced my registration. It of course had to be more games.
After almost dying from the King of Spades, I chose the Jack of Hearts as my venue of poison. I always did fairly well in hearts games at the Beach, and after being separated from the others I wouldn't have to betray anyone I knew. It was my specialty after all.
There was no guarantee I could find good teammates at clubs venues, and forget Spades or Diamonds. Those would have me killed faster than Chishiya tried to.
The dimly lit jail was a dismal site for a game; the walls and floors had traces of mold covering them. The players around me eyed each other with suspicion. A few chatted.
The sound of moans coming from a cell nearby made my face flush as I awkwardly craned my head to see the source of where it was coming from.
Big mistake.
A man with broad shoulders was ramming his girlfriend against the wall quite passionately. I didn't look away for a second, and I nearly jumped out of my skin when a silky voice spoke almost directly into my ear.
"Like what you see? My my, I didn't know you were into... things like that. But I guess we never tried anything like it."
Unknowingly, I instinctually backed towards the entrance of a cell that was away from the couple. I turned to find Chishiya who followed my steps until we were both in a cell.
"What--" I trailed off as he closed the door behind him with a faint click. He looked at me hungrily, the way he looked at me after he was the only survivor in a game.
I felt the cold wall touch my back as I pressed against it. Chishiya stood mere inches away from my face, threatening my very existence.
He traced my jawline with one of his hands, and with the other braced himself against the wall. I could hear the sound of his breathing amidst the faint background noise of everything else.
"I knew I'd find you here," Chishiya smiled quietly, almost to himself. "You would choose a hearts game, and the lowest one to maximize your chances of survival." He answered the question I had before I ever asked it.
He was impossibly close, and yet impossibly far away at the same time. I could've sworn he leaned in slightly, until the sound of the game starting chimed.
Without saying another word, he vanished into the main area the others were congregating. It was like he was never there, never with me.
Just as it always had been.

Change of Hearts - Part 3

Universe: Alice in Borderland
Pairing: Chishiya x Reader

Between all the types of games, physical games were your second least favorite. First being the psychological ones. The anxiety it brought you was enough to kill you on the spot. Physical though? You could handle physical pain enough to trust yourself in a game.
You weren't Kuina or Usagi, but you could handle running and jumping well enough to get you in a safe position. Endurance was your weakness, while speed was your strong point.
It helped that you found Usagi and Arisu were in the game with you. Between the three of you, the queen was defeated, although Usagi's words had definitely been the turning point for your team.
As the game ended you three huddled together, discussing how the plan of bringing everyone together was coming along. After a few moments of discussion, it suddenly dawned on each of you that the rest of your team could be dead. An uncomfortable silence fell on you all. Usagi once again was the thin ray of hope that snapped Arisu and you out of your trance.
Continuar a ler
Before leaving, you made plans with the couple to find them in a nearby area, after grabbing the Chishiya from the courthouse, so you could make plans for the next games. Maybe even the final game.
You had found a car next to the power plant and used it to get to your destination. You looked at the sky as you hot-wired a small vehicle, thanking Tata for the vandalizing lesson.
The time it took you to get to the King of Diamonds arena on foot was cut short by the car. However, after a while, you started to feel the toll of the previous game.
Your head was throbbing on one side, where a player had bashed it into a railing; your neck was stiff from a chokehold; your knees and elbows were scratched and bruised from falling down the stairs; your muscles were starting to scream in pain. But more worrying was the sudden feeling of something running down your back.
You touched your shoulder and felt something sticky on your fingers. You were bleeding from your shoulder and your mind drifted to the only encounter you had had with the Queen. Already tired from running from her teammates you had been an easy catch. She knew you would just wait another round to go back to your friends, but that didn't mean she couldn't hurt you. She zapped you and threw you down a railing into a dark corner of the plant, making you fall backwards into a heap of metal slabs.
The ride became increasingly urgent as you tried to get to the courthouse. You needed to stop the car and treat the wound, but you also needed to get to Chishiya. You had the sudden urge to make sure he was okay. He was alive.
When you arrived at the courthouse it was deserted. The laser grid was still up. The game was still on. With a deep breath, you grabbed the backpack, got out of the car and sat on its hood.
Rummaging through the packed mess, you found the plastic bag containing your improvised first-aid kit: strips of ripped fabric, mini bottles of alcohol, band-aids and very low grade pain killers. All courtesy of the hotel.
You choose to skip the pain killers. The pain would probably subside in a few hours, no need to waste them. You did grab the vodka bottle, opening it and carefully pouring it over your shoulder, hissing at the pain flare as the liquid hit the wound.
"Mother f---"
"Game Cleared." The familiar robot voice interrupted you. "Player Team won."
You jumped out of the hood of the car. Looking from the door to the blimp above the arena, you waited for the player team to leave. It was in times like these that the trauma, stress and awareness of your current situation crashed down on you. How many others had waited outside the games for a friend? Did they all fall to their knees when their loved ones weren't among the winners? How many of them died at your hands in a game? What if Kuina was lost? What if Ann was dead? Like Tata had died...
You turned your back on the courthouse and grabbed the edges of the car roof. Some irrational side of you thought that if you didn't look at it, your anxiety would just evaporate. It didn't. You leaned your head into the car as well, letting the cool steel try to bring you back.
"I sure hope you've disinfected that wound."
Your head snapped up and you slowly turned around. Chishiya was standing behind you, hands in pockets, hood up. His eyes and grin were tired, the light of the moon making him look like he hadn't slept in days, but overall he seemed alright. No blood, no noticeable wounds.
"It'd be helpful to have a second pair of hands to be honest." You confessed to him, trying to take several deep breaths. He took his hands out of his pockets and showed them to you. Grinning, you grabbed the plastic bag and threw it at him.
He grabbed the bag and moved to the back of the car, opening the door and inviting you to enter. He closed the door after you entered and stepped into the driver's seat.
"We need to move before the blimp explodes."
• ··········· • ············ •
With the car parked a safe distance away from the arena he had to maneuver his body to move into the backseat, without actually leaving the car. It was clumsy. His head hit the ceiling more times than you cared to count. However, he did it and then nodded proud of himself as he sat down in the backseat with you.
"Never done that before."
"Please don't do it again." You laughed stiffly. "I don't think the roof of the car could handle your hard head."
"How was your game?" He asked after a few seconds of silence, grabbing the makeshift supplies.
"Fast. Dangerous. Extreme. Saved a kid though." You answered turning your back to him.
"Of course you did." He said rustling through the bag, turning the supplies towards the street light that illuminated the car.
"Usagi and Arisu were there." You felt his finger touch the skin under your shirt. "They want to meet now that we have more time on our visas."
Chishiya was quietly assessing your wounds, humming at your words. Besides the open wound on your shoulder, the rest of your back was littered with the beginning stages of bruising and what looked to be some redness that looked like an electrical burn. It was amusing to him how seamlessly he transitioned from his casual self to his doctor self at the sight of your back. He quickly worked around the laceration, pouring the rest of the alcohol bottle on it and grabbing a long piece of fabric, wrapping it around your shoulder.
He kept examining you until he was satisfied. Much to your surprise he kept warning you every time his hands touched your skin. It was gentle but not evasive and once he was done he leaned into the car door and you rested on the seat and closed your eyes.
After a few minutes you felt him move near you. You felt his body shift again and opened your eyes. He took off his hoodie, gently adjusting it so it would cover both your legs and his.
"There's a blanket in the backpack." You mumbled, looking at him with sleep-filled eyes. He nodded and grabbed the blanket, laying it so it covered both of you.
Once you were settled, you instinctively placed your head on Chishiya's bare shoulder. When he tensed, you immediately moved your head away.
"You can keep your head there." He spoke softly and you moved back to his shoulder.
"You seem weird again." You mumbled looking up at him, noticing he had his eyes closed, his head leaning back into the seat.
"I feel weird." He opened his eyes and looked at the ceiling.
"Why? Was it the game?" You saw him nod and become silent. Knowing he wasn't planning to talk until he was good and ready, you closed your eyes trying to rest.
"Why do you try to save people in the games?" He asked after a while, his voice dragging from fatigue.
"They deserve to live as much as I do."
"Their survival could mean your death." He countered.
"I would die knowing that I did so without destroying my values." You replied.
"What if that person was a shit person?"
"It wouldn't matter." You placed your chin on his shoulder and he looked down at you. "It wouldn't matter, because I'm the one that needs to live with myself knowing what I did. If they turn out to be assholes that's on them, not on me. I would rather save a thousand assholes than let one innocent person die without helping them."
He seemed confused for a moment, his eyes drifting towards the window.
"I wish I could feel that way." He said honestly. "I would like to have that more compass, but I don't know if I can. It's not rational to think like that. My life is more important. If I die, then...it's over."
"If you really want it...just try it." You said leaning your cheek once again into his shoulder. "Just do it. Think about what the rational thing is to do, and then do the opposite."
"The rational thing would be to save me and not you. Should I save you and die?"
"No...you should save us both." Your own voice was starting to drift.
"I would save us both." He said softly and you felt his hand search for yours under the jacket.
"Good..." You gave it a squeeze and settled into the crook of his neck. "Being here without your smug face would be hell."

• "whatever world were in, i'll always be your sibling" • chishiya wanted to abandon you. he badly wants to abandon you because you, his younger sibling, were more doted than him. • though you two have nothing in comparison personality wise, chishiya still has his older brother duties on you. the generic looking out for their younger sibling, beat up anyone who insults their younger sibling because only they can do that to them. • beneath his cold and calculating facade is a soft heart for you. never leaving your side, dragging you to play games with him because he cares more about your visa than his. • very much over protective of you when joining the Beach community. as much as he wanted you to have fun and let loose a little, he doesn't entirely trust the people around you two. except the additional company of kuina, and then later on, arisu's and usagi's. • he may verbally tease you but behind closed doors, he gives you warm hugs. • chishiya may get a little dreary, but it's because even when it's sleeping time, he still looks out for you. • in case some of y'all don't remember but locks have been removed in the Beach hotel. • would hate it if you nag him about leaving arisu and usagi behind the plan of leaving the Beach community. • because amongst the hundreds of people, he only listens to you. and since he only listens to you, he might re consider bringing them along as well. • your happiness and well being = his priority. • only has interdependence with you. • even if he doesn't make it out alive from the borderlands, he'll make sure you do. • because you, his younger sibling, deserves so much more than the world can offer.

Oh man, magical girl fandoms are a dumpster fire for antis. I was shocked at how many are in Sailor Moon. You know, the anime where a 14 year old's true love is a dude in college. Yes they are closer in age in the manga but many of these are anime fans. A lot of UsaMamo fans will go after anyone who ships Seiya X Usagi because he's supposedly a stalker who doesn't respect her boundaries, a fact that is WAY over blown and exaggerated in the fandom. Keep in mind these same people stan a ship between a 14 year old girl and a dude in college. Now I don't care if they ship it just let me ship my non canon ship in peace and don't write an essay on how my ship is problematic. (Yes even the Diamond/Usagi ship, I am fully aware that the stalkery rapey prince is in fact a bad dude, that's not stopping me from writing my kink fic).
And there is so much wank in the fandom. It feels like you can't do a damn thing without upsetting someone. You like one thing about the DiC American dub? You just have nostalgia goggles on and think it was way better than it was. Uh no I just like it in a so bad its good sort of way and for all the 90s cheese. That and what's wrong with nostalgia goggles for a cartoon? Some fans go as far as calling anyone who uses any of the Americans disrespectful to the creator. Even for like a very minor character.
There are also manga purists who will come at you for preferring anything in the anime.
The other annoying thing. In the manga, Naoko drew a picture of the four Sailor Soldiers paired up romantically with each of the four main bad guy minions. In their past lives they were good guys that were brainwashed to work for evil or something like that. In the Crystal anime (that follows the manga more closely than the 90s anime) they even confirm the romantic relationships between them. (It lasts for like five seconds because the guys are quickly killed off because they all do die in the anime and manga). So people want to ship the Sailor Soldiers with their respective Dark Kingdom general.
So why does the fandom have an issue with this? Well in the 90s anime, there were no such relationships hinted. Instead two of the Dark Kingdom generals were in a gay relationship. (The 90s anime turned one into a woman to censor it.) Instead of just seeing the manga and anime taking place in separate universes, people will call you homophobic for shipping Sailors/Generals. They will say that you are erasing two gay characters even though the creator of the original manga never intended for them to be in a relationship with each other. Of course, the word heteronormative gets thrown around to try to discourage people from shipping them.
I guess at the very least, Haruka/Michiru is still a very beloved ship and my experience with them in the fandom has been very pleasant. But since Sailor Moon is an older fandom I was hoping it would be very ship and let ship. This unfortunately does seem to be common in magical girl anime fandoms. So much purity culture!

Chishiya X Reader | Too Good At Goodbyes
WARNING: Spoilers, curse words & mention of weapons, death!
Author's Note: Thank you so much for your support and reblogs, as always! I see and appreciate each one of you! This is a PART OF A SERIES so people who are just reading this one post for the first time might not understand the context please read the parts linked below.
Part 1 | ... | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 (Coming Soon!)
Tumblr media
"You're not that bad of a person you know. I don't know what picture you've painted of yourself in your head but I'll blank the canvas and paint a beautiful one. The true one." you said as you hugged him.
You were not aware of this but he had tears in his eyes. Even he was surprised to feel this emotion again. To be heard and understood.
----------------------------Time Skip-----------------------
You found yourself running for your life. King of Spade found you. This time you were alone in a general store with only one exit where he stood waiting for you.
How did you end up alone? What happened to Chishiya? HOW DID YOU END UP BEING THE TARGET OF THE FUCKING KING OF SPADES?
Well, let me enlighten you.
After hiding from the King you and chishiya decided that it was better to clear as many games as possible. Because of course, this is a collective game so all the survivors have to work together on this.
Silly of you to think that they were all going to think the same way and act like a team.
You knew that even if you were smart, your specialty lies in the physical games so you went in the Jack of spade game and Chishiya went to Jack Of Diamonds. You two stayed away from heart games and even if you were forced to enter, you agreed that you two won't play it together.
You two decided that you'll meet at the Shibuya Crossing once you two were done.
His game took unexpectedly long (because then he went to Kind Of Diamonds on his way back) so you decided to get something to eat where you met another very anxious player and you didn't like anxious people in borderlands because they were not reliable. So you kept your guard up. What's the worst that can happen?
You saw King of Spades Blimp and he was crossing from right in front of your store. He hasn't noticed you both yet. You looked over to the guy he was about to through a fit and was shaking like crazy. But you sneaked up to him as quietly as you can and covered his mouth and took control of his limbs. You were visible to the King's range of view the only thing between you two was a thin glass window.
Luckily he still hasn't noticed the both of you. So you slowly started pulling the guy back as he was trying hard to get out of your grip and was making too much movement. But to your relief King almost passed from your window, JUST ALMOST.
When this dumbass took out a very tiny useless gun and tried shooting the king. One missed shot and king started shooting in your direction. You fell back behind the shelf but the guy couldn't make it and now it was just king and you in this TINY ROOM.
You knew Chishiya was going to come soon too. You cannot just run away you have to warn him.
You started shifting towards the door as the king entered more into the room. You knew you were not going to get out of here without being injured or killed if you just bolted, you HAD to make a distraction.
Chishiya's bomb came into your mind. You were planning what should you do when the King Of Dimond Blimp blew up, it was Chishiya. King looked at it and you bolted but not before throwing Chishiya's bomb in King's feet. So before he can turn and shoot you the bomb created another distraction.
Maaaan you've never run faster than this in your entire life. You knew that you cannot run faster than the bullets so you took to a low alley and started moving in the Crossing's direction so that you can warn Chishiya once he come there.
But on the way, you met up with Arisu and Usagi. You were so happy to see both of them! Finally some familiar faces. You explained the situation and they came with you.
Usagi was a bit hurt and King of spades' blimp was nowhere to be seen so you two went into a general store to get the supplies and that is when you heard a gunshot.
You two came rushing out and on your way as you heard a couple of more rounds being shot. You were sure that it wasn't King because the sounds of all of them were different.
As you entered the crossing your eyes landed on Chishiya who was hiding behind a car. When you looked closely & he looked hurt and then you saw blood. Everything blurred out and all you managed to say silently was, "Chishiya" as you ran towards him.
Then you spotted Niragi who was intently looking at you as he pulled up his gun and said, "Oh yeah, I almost forgot about you two." and started shooting in your direction.
You made it behind the car in time but Usagi couldn't because of her injury and that is when he shot his last bullet at her.
It was all in a blur and slow motion. You were asking her to come to you but she couldn't. Then you saw Chishiya run over to her. You heard two shots.
As your eyes land on Chishiya, his white jacket had two huge blood stains. He saved her. You ran with all your will and stopped him from dropping directly on the floor as you called out his name loudly.
"Why would you do that?" Usagi said as she came along with Arisu. "I wanted to do something that was a bit out of Character," he said his eye glued on you.
More than him being hurt he was worried about you. He was trying to cheer you up. He knew that this was a bit selfish of him because he promised you that you two will get out of here. Now he did this but it was important for him. His eyes were constantly glued on yours and as you start to tear up he put a hand on yours as he said...
"I know it is thanks to people I know here. To Kyuzuryu, Arisu, and You." he looked back at you. Arisu cut in, "Hey, before what were you gonna say?" Chishiya looked at Arisu and let out a weak chuckle that sounded more like a grunt. His heavy breathing and weak voice were breaking you down slowly. You didn't know how to stop this. For the first time, you felt helpless here.
Then he looked back at you not leaving a chance to soak your face in his memories, "Oh yeah." His eyes went back to Arisu and Usagi, "Honest people always seemed stupid to me. I've always loved messing with people who try too hard at life." Then he looked back at you and continued, "I hated selflessness. It's probably because I'm jealous. They all had something I didn't. It was like they could always see what a pathetic and small-minded person I really was." He squeezed your hand, "I was always scared."
Now tears were running like a river you didn't want to stop them. You could hear Arisu and Niragi talking in the background when you pressed your forehead against Chishiya's, "I hope you're not considering this lame speech as your goodbye." as you both chuckle. You could feel Usagi's eyes on you two with curiosity but you couldn't care less.
"Don't bail on me," you said softly as you lift your forehead away from him. He was too weak to answer and before he can gather the courage, the King Of Spades' Blimp came around. You looked back at Chishiya who said, "Don't even think about it."
"No, I'm staying. I won't leave you." You could hear shooting in the background and people started pouring from the streets. Chishiya took his hand out of his hold and ask you to go. "No! Shut up I'm not leaving!" You said now shouting at him for the fact that he is even suggesting this. "Let's hide them under the cars," Arisu said.
"Are you nuts? This is not going to work. I'm not leaving him here." you said clearly intimidating Arisu. You never raised your voice ever since they knew you.
"Go. I promise I'll be okay. We'll meet again. You have a better chance at saving me if you kill the king" you hated that he was right. So you helped Arisu in shifting them under the cars but not before giving Chishiya a lingering kiss.
You started running into an alley and reunited with Kuina and Ann. As you were running King got close, PRETTY CLOSE, and got a hand of Ann. All of you saved her with team efforts when a guy ran into the king with a car.

Eye
He reached out and touched her cheek, his touch so soft she could barely feel it. His features seemed to soften in front of her eyes. For a moment he almost seemed human and she loosened her grip a little. Let her guard down.
The moment she did he seized upon it like a starving man who had been waiting for the right moment to strike. She never got the chance to back away. He strengthened his hold on her and made it impossible for her to break away. To look away from him.
From that all seeing eye on his forehead that circled in on her like a viper, attacking before she could move, before she got a chance to prepare herself. Fighting against it was more or less impossible, she could feel her strength waning with every breath she took. Could feel how heavy her limbs had become, how every movement made her so tired she could barely hold on. Could barely keep her eyes open.
It’s alright, he seemed to whisper. Go ahead. I’ve got you.
His voice was comforting, like a lullaby that slowly lulled her to sleep. That caused her muscles to relax as the fight slowly left her, as she accepted the oblivion and rest that was waiting for her.
The last thing she saw before everything became dark was the concerned look on his face as he caught her in his arms. It was misplaced there she thought as she watched him; on her enemy’s face. It was a look that reminded her of the way her father would look at her mother sometimes. Totally out of place.

Chapter 27 - What it meant to me will eventually be a memory [Chishiya x Reader]
"What's the diagnosis, doctor?"
You winced in pain when Chishiya's fingers touched the increasingly growing bump in your head, which was killing you. You stretched your aching back and moved your creaking neck from side to side, hoping for some relief. There was, if only a little bit.
You felt as if a truck had run all over you.
It hadn't been a truck, of course, but a freak of nature using a bull's hollow head as a mask.
"Everything should go away in a few days." The blonde man finally declared, putting both hands on your shoulders. "You were lucky."
"I am, extremely." Because you had him, but saying it out loud would just be ridiculous. He was not only an extremely intelligent, good-looking and caring person (at least when it came to you), but also an actual doctor. "That's why I also would have won the King of Diamonds."
Chishiya had explained more or less what happened during his game to you. He hadn't gotten into too much detail - you had the feeling there had been something other than what he told you, but you had learned, with time, not to push him.
You trusted him so much you didn't mind if he had secrets.
"Are you sure you would have understood the rules?" His lips were curved in that smirk of his, teasing you once again. He had to explain to you how the game worked more than once.
You were just not good with numbers. Like, at all.
"No, I wouldn't have. At least not the first few rounds. But you see, that's where the magic happens…" You stood up from the chair you had been sitting in, turning around so that you could look at Chishiya while speaking, leaning your body against the edge of a table. You were occupying an abandoned apartment once more. "I would have been pretty much like "fuck it, we ball" and choose whatever random number appealed to me."
The man chuckled silently to himself. "I don't think Kuzuryu could have seen that coming."
Oh, yeah, you had to add Kuzuryu to the list of criminally insane people you had met in the Borderlands. It seemed the executive board of The Beach had a lot more of them than you thought at the beginning.
There were only two games left - the King of Spades and his slaughter and the Queen of Hearts. Both were located in Shibuya, close to where the face card games had been announced for the first time, at least judging by the position of the airships displaying those two cards.
None of you had said a word about it, but were travelling towards them.
As were multiple other players.
A part of you wanted to let that other people face those games. Who knows? Maybe they would win and you would be transported back to the real world one night, while you were sleeping.
But other part knew that wasn't fair. All of you had to do your part, work together. And also, you had a feeling you would meet your friends there. You missed them dearly, specially Kuina, and refused to believe something had happened to them.
In addition to that, while it seemed most people softened up with pain, it turned out some of them hardened, you included. You would have never taken yourself for a tough person, but life found a way to surprise you once more.
Now, if your head could at least stop pounding for just a second…
"Penny for your thoughts?" Chishiya asked, his fingers softly touching your jawline.
You blinked, realizing you had lost yourself in your own mind.
"It's a full on monologue." You smiled apologetically.
"I want to hear it."
"I was just thinking we have two games left. We are so close, but I assume there's only a limited number of players, which probably becomes lower every single day, and that means we could still lose, because we could all die and not clear them. And I want Kuina, and Arisu, and Usagi, and Tatta, and Ann to still be alive, but Kuina most of all." You spoke one word after the other, fast, without making a single pause. "I also feel like a completely different person."
"I am sure Kuina is still alive. Arisu, Usagi, and Ann as well." You noticed how he didn't mention Tatta, but you decided not to point it out. Pain was of no use to you, not right now. "And we will beat those games."
His hand moved from your jaw to your hair, fingers getting lost between your locks. He brought your head forward, softly, so that your foreheads would touch.
"And what about me not being the same person I was before… When all of this started?"
You didn't know how much time had passed.
"You are the same person. You've just become more of a force to be reckoned with."
A smile was dancing on your lips already.
"Do you think so?"
"I know so."
"I love you."
The words just escaped your mouth without a warning.
Your heart was full. You had lost people on the way, you had been hurt both physically and emotionally, you had experienced the worst of people… But you also had found love, and friendship. And light couldn't mean anything without darkness to compare it to.
"I love you too."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You had found Usagi close to Shibuya. Alone.
Your heart sunk for a second, thinking that if she was alone, that had to mean… That everybody else was dead?
You didn't let yourself think about it, instead focusing on the happiness you felt seeing her alive, and well. You were so happy you actually hugged her, something she wasn't expecting, judging by the look on her face and the way she awkwardly reciprocated the gesture.
"I'm glad you are still alive." She said, patting you on the back.
"Me too. About you, I mean." You were smiling when you separated, nervously. "Are the others…?"
"Arisu is somewhere there." She pointed towards the center of the city, behind some buildings.
Chishiya smiled, knowingly. You knew he thought highly about him. "I will go speak to him."
You nodded, and remained with Usagi.
"What about Kuina? Did you see her? Ann, Tatta?"
"Last I saw of Kuina, she was fine. Ann as well. Tatta…"
You knew what that lingering silence meant. You swallowed and licked your lips, before pressing them together. She was aware she didn't have to say anything else.
"Are you okay?" She asked, changing the subject, pointing at your face. "That looks like it hurts a lot…"
"Oh? This, you mean?" It did hurt. Even smiling was painful, but you had become accustomed to it. It was funny how the human body could get used to things so quickly. "I'm fine, I was in a game and…"
You had just started retelling the story when you heard the shot.
The King of Spades?
No, nobody was running hysterically and firing just once wasn't really his style.
Plus, it came from where Arisu and Chishiya were. Usagi and you looked at each other and started to run.
You honestly had no clue as to what happened, and what you found when you finally reached the place was even more disconcerting.
Niragi, or what was left of him, was on top of a car. His face and body were a mess of burnt scars.
The surprise of seeing him alive didn't last very long, because your eyes moved instantly to Chishiya, who was bleeding undoubtedly from that shot you had heard, hiding behind a car. Arisu was also cowered in the same position.
Everything you felt was dread.
"What are you doing?" Usagi asked.
"Are you three killing each other? Are you out of you goddamn minds!?" You could see it now, the three of them were holding guns. You spoke like a person about to have a nervous breakdown.
"Oh yeah. There were you two, as well." Niragi smiled.
And shot at the two of you. Usagi grabbed your arm, forcing you to move and getting you out of the bullet's trajectory. Both of you fell to the ground on the process.
"If you two are dead, then the three of us can be kindred spirits."
More shots. You closed your eyes, hard, hoping that, when it hit, it would at least hit you and not Usagi. She was more useful than you in the games. And, if there was room for an extra wish, that it would not puncture any vital organs. Pretty please.
But it didn't.
You looked at each other. You were both well. Could it be that Niragi had a shitty aim and nobody had been hit? Could you ever be so lucky?
Of course not.
A sound that you identified as your heart breaking into a million pieces when Chishiya hit the ground, a second bullet wound somewhere on his chest. Had it hit the heart? The lungs?
He had saved you.
Usagi and Arisu run to him.
You crawled.
You placed yourself at his side, on your knees, pressing the wound with your bare hands. That was the only thing you knew about treating this sort of things, that you should stop the hemorrhage. "Shhh, sh… It's fine, it's fine." You didn't know if that was meant to calm him or yourself.
"Why did you do that?" Usagi said, her hands on top of yours, helping you apply pressure.
"I wanted to do something that was… A bit out of character. It's probably because of the people I met here like Kuzuryu, Arisu and…" His eyes moved towards your face. He lifted his hand to touch your cheek and when he lowered it, you noticed his fingers were wet. You then realized you were crying.
"Stay awake! Come on, what were you going to tell me earlier?" Arisu asked, trying to keep him conscious.
"Oh yeah… To me… People who live life so seriously seem like fools. Those people who strive so hard. I did not like them. But I was jealous. They had what I didn't."
"I know what you mean."
"I figured you would say that, Arisu."
The conversation was going on around you, but you were not paying any attention to it. You couldn't. He was dying in front of you.
You also heard Niragi's voice coming from somewhere. What had happened to him? Had Chishiya shot him? Had Arisu? You didn't know the reason why he wasn't shooting at you any longer. You only cared that he had stopped. You hoped he would die.
Your thoughts were so chaotic. You were panicking, spiraling, looking at Chishiya's face but not really seeing anything.
You couldn't cope with any of the emotions you were feeling.
You couldn't function properly.
And just as you thought things couldn't get any worse, a shadow loomed over you.
The King of Spades.
