Wildstreet - Wildstreet IV

With infectious hooks and electrifying riffs, Wildstreet are the epitome of contemporary party rock. Recently, the band released a new EP, simply called 'Wildstreet IV'. The EP contains seven tracks and has a combined running time of 27 minutes, so it’s more of a mini-album than an EP.

Alongside lead vocalist and guitarist Eric Jayk, who sought to create a high-energy rock group reminiscent of the Sunset Strip glam rock scene of the 1980s, the current lineup features Wrath Starz (guitars and vocals), Kevin R. Scarf (bass and vocals) and Dylan Graff (drums and vocals).

The band were among the first to bring live music back to post-pandemic Europe and played for rock fans in Switzerland and France for the first time.

"Wildstreet IV" opens with the song ‘Heroes’. It's drum beat and guitar riff grab your attention from the very first bars, before luring us into the second track, ‘Sick to Death’ which has a slower pace. Once again, the marching beat is complimented by some intricate guitar work. This track features Dave Abbruzzese (formerly of Pearl Jam) on drums.

‘Won’t Be Apart’ is a fantastic ballad, then the pace returns with ‘Come Down’, and the arena friendly power ballad ‘Say Goodbye’, a tremendous mix of passionate lyrics, orchestration, melodies, and harmonies.

The album closes with ‘The Road’, which once again sees the band in a reflective and thoughtful mood. This is classic Wildstreet; Sleazy Arena-style Glam Rock.

Wildstreet has confirmed concerts and festivals for 2024/2025 and are currently working on a new full-length album.
