#Will-O-Wisp Rotom
daily-haunted-tv · 1 year
Note
have you drawn a rotom for each pokemon type yet? I remember the super cute ghost one but are there more...
Tumblr media
I don't have many fan made forms, BUT I got the Mega I did (And gave it Dragon type cuz it is based on a wyvern), the Will-O-Wisp form that could be a Hisui form that is a pure Ghost type and of course my Fairy Lights Fairy Type Rotom!
Maybe In the future I draw Forms for any other types, but for now just these 3 will have to do

I decided to make dndads pokemon team headcanons
Each character will be limited to 3 max (exceptions pending)
Daryll:
Greedent - Looks just like him, Matt said so himself. Calls it Grant. It gets confusing.
Meowth (Galar) - Scruffy just like Daryll. Evolves into Perrserker, fitting Daryll's barbarian class. Named it Aragorn on a whim and wouldn't change it even when people told him it doesn't fit.
Kangaskhan - Loving, protective parent. Inherited from Frank as the baby of his own Kangaskhan now grown up. Named it after his grandmother, Sally.
Henry:
Cradily - No brainer. Best of both interests (nature and geology). Named it Lily. Simple, sweet.
Carnivine - Thorn Whip/Entangle/Grasping Vine! Also representative of his more aggressive nature that he pushes down until he snaps. Named it simply Flower cause he wanted to associate it with nice and gentle imagery.
Trevenant - Had it since he was a boy and both lost their memories when they were transported to earth. Gifted to him by Beary to help attune him to the Doodler's eldritch nature within him by interacting with the ghost type. Made of the husk of an oak tree. Perhaps possessed by the lost soul of an Oakvale child. Can learn Will-O-Wisp, which is a good enough justification for Wall of Fire for me. He never named it.
Glenn:
Beeheeyem - Had it since it was an Elgyem, but doesn't remember catching it. He remembers getting high in the desert one night, then waking up with a new friend. He doesn't even know the species name, he just calls it Star Wars.
Rotom - Let's it chill in his amps or guitars when at home and in his vape pen when on the go. When it possesses his electric guitars it can play loud even without an amp. Calls it Lil' Dude/Lil' Man/Lil' Guy/Lil' Buddy. It responds to all.
Pikachu - of all the characters, he feels the most right to have a Pikachu. What's it's name? Nick Jr.
Glenn hasn't technically captured any of his pokemon.
Ron:
Herdier - His first pokemon that he had to give up long ago. Named Rogue.
Greavard - It found him one day.
Paeden:
Tyrogue - It's the same size as him and he found it after joining the dads. He fought it himself. Calls it his Rival.
Walter the Immoral:
Honedge - The sword that gave him his name. He never wanted a pokemon, but when the sword he crafted broke and killed that hero, it became possessed and returned to him. Has no name, and he barely refers to it. Good friends with Paeden.
Scam Likely/Well Actually/Scam Actually:
He has no set team. Every time he crosses paths with the daddies he has a different pokemon accompanying him, even if they were only separated for an hour.
Some examples of pokemon he's been seen with -
Purrloin
Sneasel (both versions)
Mew
Igglybuff
Each of the daddies' pokemon (at different occasions)
Spinarak
Murkrow
Meowth (Kanto)
Seviper
Zorua (most commonly seen)
Arin O'Neal:
Trevenant - (Lots)
Torterra - (Lots)
Willy:
Dusknoir - Uses it as a tool and nothing else. Doesn't refer to it at all, conditioned it to respond to orders only.
Darkrai - Keeps it contained and under wraps. Never tries to use it for battle or utility. He doesn't want to risk losing control, even in his dreams. He would have to be desperate to resort to using it.
Beary:
Liligant (Hisui) - Uses it as a partner for light aerobics and yoga. Calls it Lily.
Golurk - Created it himself. He considers it something of a magnum opus. Refers to it by its species name.
Dragonite - His ace up his sleeve. He lets it guard the O-Dads compounds and bases. Calls it Raymond Dio Labot.
Bill:
Slaking - His oldest pokemon. Extraordinarily powerful, but just as lazy as he is. Calls it Brother.
Exploud - He likes it loud. Taught it to beatbox and Willy fucking hates it. Calls it Rock and/or Roll.
Rotom - Glenn's Rotom. He bequeathed it to him some time before he "died". He's the one that started calling it any variation of "Lil'" that Glenn caught on to.
The Doodler:
Unown Unknown

Good battle, Tix! You've GOTTA teach me how to read attacks like that, that was really fun!
[a clip from a radio show!
"Hello, Fortreeians, Hoennians, and anyone else technologically apt enough to tune into the station! This is 99.9 FM, THE channel for everything battles! If you're just tuning in, we're covering the second semifinal match of the Battles Under the Big Tree tournament here in Fortree City!"
"Here at the field, I'm Thomas Lo-"
"And I'm Melanie Shuckle! Following an absolutely fantastic battle between Gym Trainers Olivia and Cyan, we're here following the match between Curse Vendor Taliyah and Pokémon Trainer Tix!"
"Now, I'm not sure what a Curse Vendor is, but Taliya's team looks pretty eerie! I wonder who she'll lead with? Maybe Claydol to set up Stealth Rocks, or Sableye to utilize Prankster to set up screens? Pumpkaboo could be an interesting Destiny Bond user, though I don't think it'll stick around long."
"Tix's team looks pretty formidable as well! It's almost entirely Poison-type, save for a Rotom in Wash form - it's changed form since their last match, where it dominated in Heat form!"
"Makes you wonder, Melanie, did Tix pack the washing machine? Did they take it? Borrow it?
"Not sure, Thomas, but Crobat and Clodsire would be good leads here, bringing a Tailwind or placing Stealth Rocks on the field."
"OH! There's the countdown, Melanie, and here come their leads! Taliya sends out Claydol to Tix's Clodsire. Claydol sets out Stealth rock but-"
"Ooooooh, that's a Toxic on the Claydol! Clodsire sets up a layer of Spikes and takes a super effective Scorching Sands like a champ! It barely looks fazed!"
"It gets burned, but does that even matter? Oh! A switch on both sides! Taliya brings out Sableye, and Tix chooses Wash Rotom - this could be interesting! Sableye moves first with its Prankster ability and decides to… Taunt the Rotom?"
"Tom, I could see that Volt Switch coming a mile away, why would she go for a Taunt? OOOH, that's BIG damage on Sableye."
"Ooh, tricky Will-O-Wisp from Sableye, sapping Scolipede's strength as it goes for a Megahorn! Man, this Sableye just won't go down! I don't think it can take too many more attacks, though…"
"Looks like Scolipede's going for another Megahorn, and-"
"No! It just barely missed! You hate to see it. Even worse, Sableye's Recovering back its missing health.
"Scolipede keeps getting faster and faster with its Speed Boost Ability! Oh, Sableye's going for a Knock Off, but WAIT! A quick switch to Crobat, but it loses its Heavy-Duty Boots!"
"Melanie, how does a Crobat wear boots to begin with?"
"Not sure, Thomas, maybe one per wing? Ooh, another Will-O-Wisp from Sableye, which means Crobat's much weaker than before but- Oh no! Crobat lands a perfect Toxic on Sableye!"
"Sableye switches for Claydol as Crobat uses Roost to heal back its missing health, and Claydol aims a… Scorching Sands? At a Flying-type? It doesn't matter, though, as Rotom hits the field! Hydro Pump takes down the Claydol, and Lampent comes out. A quick switch later and Sableye takes a devastating Shadow Ball."
"Sableye tries to heal before - Oh no! That's a DEVASTATING Hydro Pump! Sableye is hanging by a thread and that toxic poison keeps getting worse. A quick switch from Sableye to Chimecho, who uses Healing Wish to return Sableye to perfect health!"
"Rotom switches to Toxtricity, which gets hit out of the air with Knock Off! OOOH, that's a killer Overdrive, and Sableye's down for the count! Lampent comes out, but it looks like we'll be seeing a repeat of last match as Toxtricity puts out the lamp!"
"Taliya's on her last Pokémon, and she sends out Pumpkaboo! What will it- OH! Three KOs in a row from this Toxtricity, and Pokémon Trainer Tix is victorious! Stay tuned for our final battle - Tix versus Olivia!"]

ficlet where okay it turns out yeah Decorate is super useful
Crispin was serving up a Talonflame and Heat Rotom, huh? Well Vaespar had a plan, hopefully.
"Oatchi, Rock Slide! Milkshake, Decorate Oatchi!"
"Rock Slide! Rock Slide!!!!" said Oatchi!
"Here to help!" said Milkshake.
Milkshake flinched as she ate a Will-O-Wisp but gave Oatchi a boost with her sweet energy, allowing him to take the Rotom out. The Talonflame was still standing thanks to a Focus Sash, but started Roosting it off as Oatchi decimated an incoming Exeggutor with a Flare Blitz. The Talonflame countered with a Flare Blitz of its own to Milkshake, but she hung on and kept decorating.
"Sugar rush! Sugar ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuush!" yelled Oatchi as his onslaught of rocks took out the Talonflame and an incoming Camerupt.
All that was left was a Blaziken and a Magmortar. Vaespar knew the former was dangerous to Oatchi, but if he was fast enough...
"Oatchi! Keep going!"
And his gambit paid off. Crispin immediately Terastalized his Blaziken in a burst of shining crystal... leaving it more vulnerable to the incoming avalanche of rocks. It and the Magmortar were taken out in one fell swoop
Vaespar rubbed his hands against each other Things were finally coming together...

As much as Aiden tried to avoid battles, there were some trainers and pokemon who simply wouldn’t take no for an answer. He had learned his way around some of the moves he was capable of now. Protect he knew without even trying. Disable and Will-O-Wisp were both easy enough to learn and wield, but he really needed something that could do real damage when necessary.
For that, he managed to save enough from selling stolen snacks to buy a Shadow Ball TM from the Celadon Department Store. He had found, however, that while learning a move from a TM was easy, using it to any real effect was still rather hard. Returning to Johto, Aiden and his former team of pokemon retreated into Ilex Forest for it’s relative seclusion and docile fauna. It seemed a safe place he could practice unbothered.
The little ghost mustered up another Shadow Ball and launched it at a nearby tree, managing only to chip some bark.
“...Fucking really?”
“Try saying, ‘WoOoOoOo~’ when ya do it,” suggested his Rotom, Ziggy.
“Yeah, very funny, asshole...”
“No, really! It helps!”
Aiden shrugged and made the howl with his next attack. It didn’t help.
“Oh, I should have recorded that,” Ziggy laughed.
“Look, unless you have some useful advice, maybe just shut up for a while, ok?”
Aiden was annoyed at more than just Ziggy. This shouldn’t be this hard, he thought. He had trained his past team to near championship levels. Blaze alone was trained enough to give even the Elite Four a challenge. So why was it still so hard for a pokemon trainer to train as a pokemon?

Impidimp Update
I didn’t find an Impidimp, but I DID find and Catch its evolution Morgrem. In related news, I had to stop by a hospital in Hammerlock because the mfer got me with the hair-spear. It hurt like a mother fucker, but was but a flesh wound. Got it checked and left. I’ll be fine, wasn’t even bleeding really, but did need stitches. For reference, fucker stabbed out at me from the brush. Honestly, I respect it.
I’ll now use this opportunity to give a little team update! (Epsilon is being omitted because neither of us have caught them)
My Team:
Suki is still herself. She did get REALLY concerned after I caught the Morgrem though, due to her seeing the wound.
Nature: Quirky
Ability: Filter
Moves: Frost Breath/Psybeam/Teeter Dance/Shadow Ball
Crawler is still a giant sleepyhead. Hell, couple of random trainers we encountered on the way up to the Mushroom Forest commented on how he’s the chillest Drednaw they’ve ever seen! The biggest difference between him before and him now is that he’s the about size of the coffee table back at our place.
Nature: Lax
Ability: Strong Jaw
Moves: Crunch/Razor Shell/Counter/Ice Fang
Brownie is still a joyful little goober. She’s very playful with everyone while still being protective to us (or at least attempting to given how she’s a Rockruff). She still gets on really well with Suki and Crawler, and has really gotten close with Baron.
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Vital Spirit
Moves: Howl/Rock Throw/Mud Slap/Bite
Baron has definitely let up on the edgy loner thing he had going on, though he’s still cautious of newer faces. He’s also still a bit of a dick, but that’s fine.
Nature: Lonely
Ability: Gluttony
Moves: Night Slash/Pin Missile/Counter/Headbutt
Pimple is a greedy little asshole, but like, in a kinda endearing way. They also bites a lot. Trying to get them to stop. (I’m use neutral pronouns for Pimple because I still haven’t gotten around to figuring out their sex, though they don’t seem to mind them so I may just keep referring to Pimple gender neutrally.) They like eating and trying to egg on Baron into fights. I’m also trying to get them to stop doing that.
Nature: Naughty
Ability: Hunger Switch (obviously)
Moves: Bite/Flatter
The new Morgrem I’ve named Gaz Drek. Idk why, just felt like it. I haven’t had Gaz out to much, but he seem like a mischievous and also prideful type. He have definitely shown a habit of lashing out when he gets agitated, which is concerning. Trying to calm his short fuse at least a bit.
Nature: Rash
Ability: Frisk
Moves: Fake Out/False Surrender/Swagger/Sucker Punch
Then there is Vi’s team:
Mari is her usual playful and kind self. She’s very chill (no pun intended). Pretty protective though. She’s also got some fun sass on her. She kinda reminds me of Vi’s sister now that I’ve met her lol.
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Curse Body
Moves: Destiny Bond/Hex/Ice Beam/Will-O-Wisp
Hexed is a little clingy baby. We love him. Mari has basically taken the little dragon under her wing, and it’s really cute! Little guy really likes battling, but isn’t very good at it due to how incredibly baby he is. He’s trying his best!
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Infiltrator
Moves: Curse/Infestation/Quick Attack/Disable
Vi is honestly not the type I’d really expect to pick up a Stonjourner, but alas Stanley is here! Stanley is… honestly the best way I can sum him up is that he’s just… Stanley. He’s definitely friendly, and tries his best to be helpful, but that’s all I can really put into words about Stanley. Honestly, this living pile of rocks kinda radiates himbo energy and I’m here for it.
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Power Spot (obviously)
Moves: Gravity/Rock Slide/Wide Guard/Low Kick
Fun trivia fact! Vi DOES NOT have an actual Rotom Phone! Turns out her “Rotom Phone” was actually one of those Porygon Phones that a wild Rotom decided to take over (we were under the impression it was just a really old model). We figured this out when we had to go to a fuckin shop in… Motostoke I think is the place’s name? The cool steam powered city. Anyway, we had to stop by because her phone was refusing to unlock. When we got there, they employee who helped us very kindly explained the situation, and even let Vi keep the Rotom after catching it to get it out the device. (The problem was that the Rotom apparently took over the unlocking function and completely forgot it did.) So now Vi has Siri the Rotom! He’s a playful (if shy) little guy! Makes me kinda wish I could get the Rotom in my phone (but you know, those Rotoms are technically owned by the phone company…)! So yeah! Rotom! (Siri still usually chills in Vi’s phone.)
Nature: Bashful
Ability: Levitate (obviously)
Moves: Discharge/Hex/Thunder Wave/Synchronoise (Foul Play)
So yeah.
//ooc: Enter the Electric/Psychic Rotom-Com. It's a Porygon Phone, but showing the traces of being under Rotom Control. Unfortunatly, you have to deal with Synchronoise as you move.

So because I recently finished Pokemon Violet, I figured: ‘why not, I’ll redo my Pokemon AU for Xerath.’ Details below.))
This time around, Xerath is the leader of Team Ascend, an evil group that wants to harness the power of Pokemon to become “more than human.” Team Ascend primarily focuses its efforts on trying to steal relics related to ancient Pokemon in an effort to understand the mysterious powers these creatures have.
In truth, Xerath is a scholar from the ancient past, who attempted to harness the power of a certain Legendary Pokemon. Though this left his body somewhat deformed, it effectively stopped him from aging. Xerath was imprisoned for his crimes, but eventually, he outlasted all his jailers and even the ancient prison itself. Ages spent in confinement and isolation have taken their toll on Xerath’s mind, however...
Now free, Xerath seeks to resume what he started ages ago, using the advancements of the modern age to further his research into the mysteries of Pokemon that so that he humanity can acquire the same fantastical powers. Below is his team:
Tumblr media
Cofagrigus Ability: Mummy -Shadow Ball -Will-O-Wisp -Hex -Revenge
Krookodile Ability: Intimidate -Crunch -Close Combat -Bulk Up -Outrage
Golurk Ability: Iron Fist -Focus Punch -Thunder Punch -Shadow Punch -Ice Punch
Rotom Ability: Levitate -Thunder Wave -Charge -Stored Power -Shockwave
Hoopa Ability: Magician -Psychic Terrain -Dark Pulse -Psybeam -Hyperspace Hole

Let's assume a pokemon world where you get to have your way with each gym leader if you defeat them. let's also assume you must use the same 6 pokemon the entire time. The 8 gym leaders' types are the following (in order):
fire
grass
flying
electric
water
psychic
steel
dragon
So, first question, which 6 pokemon (any generation) are you bringing with you? As a followup, which idols are you assigning to each gym and how far do you think you're making it?
Hope college life is treating you well!
Thank you for the wishes CJ! I'm starting this week so here's for the best outcome. This will be a long one, here we go:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• I tried not to use any Legendaries for their teams since they’re just leaders and I tried not to use repeats. I can do rematch squads for them too if needed.
• Weather teams are really flexible and have a lot of abusers, which explains the wildcard picks.
Now as for the squad I’m going with and reasoning:
Tumblr media
Landorus-T is quite simply the best Pokémon in all of existence. Intimidate with solid bulk all around and high Attack make it a must have on nearly every team. I know the joke’s been overdone, but it’s just that good and flexible.
Tapu Fini is the special wall meant to sponge hits not meant for Lando. It also has access to Taunt and Nature’s Madness to stop stall + do damage on anything that isn’t Heatran/Toxapex. It can also summon Misty Terrain so Mawile and Garchomp don’t get burned/paralyzed.
Garchomp is one of the best speed checks. Choice Scarf makes it an effective revenge killer and has decent bulk to sponge a hit. Scale Shot sets are also devastating for wallbreaking.
Rotom-Wash provides status with Will-O-Wisp/Thunder Wave/Toxic and provides a slow pivot into the faster threats with Volt Switch.
Mega Mawile is one of the strongest breakers. Huge Power is incredible. It gets access to a plethora of coverage including the elemental punches, Brick Break, Sucker Punch, and Play Rough. Requires a healthy switch in to be effective, but once it’s in, a kill is all but guaranteed.
Greninja is one of the best wallbreakers and the most unpredictable. Protean means it will always get STAB on anything and it has wide coverage for any opponent. Hidden Power, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Extrasensory, Gunk Shot, and Low Kick. If needed, it can also become Ash-Greninja which is one of the strongest breakers as well. A wrong prediction of which Greninja set and it’s over.
I think we can win, probably will take a hundred tries though, considering I’m an average ladder player. LOL. This is why rom hacks like Radical Red and Unbound are amazing

Pokémon can draw inspiration from many different things. Some designs come from mythology and legend, with fantastical creatures appearing throughout every generation. Some, like Audino and Conkeldurr, are the Pokémon versions of specific real-life professions. And some like Vanilluxe and Appletun, are literally pieces of food.
RELATED: Pokémon: 10 Water-Types Who Totally Belong In A Different Type
Then there are those Pokémon that are kind of just everyday objects brought to life. Whether they're keychains, chandeliers, batteries, or teapots, these mons are the subject of criticism and acclaim. Many fans consider them inspired, while others think they're just lazy. These designs are part of Pokémon, though, ever since the first 150. They're not going anywhere anytime soon.
10 Charjabug
Tumblr media
Charjabug is the pre-evolution of Vikavolt, introduced in Generation VII. It is a dual-type Electric/Bug that ranks as one of Alola's strongest Pokémon and a staple of many Gen VII teams.
At first sight, Charjabug resembles a battery. And it indeed is a battery, which might suggest a lack of interest from the designers. However, Charjabug's design also includes elements from the denkimushi, a Japanese caterpillar whose sting feels like a small electric shock.
9 Sunflora
Tumblr media
Introduced in Generation II, Sunflora is the evolution of Sunkern and a favorite of moms all over the Pokémon world. Sunflora may be one of the cutest Grass-types ever, but that doesn't take away the fact that it is literally a sentient sunflower.
Unlike other Pokémon, whose designs include at least some alteration to their real-life inspiration, Sunflora's is as simple as it gets. It's a sunflower with two legs and a perpetual smile on its face. Many fans consider it one of the worst Pokémon due to its simplicity. Its cuteness is undeniable, though.
8 Magnemite
Tumblr media
Magnemite is one of the original 150 Pokémon introduced in Generation I. As such, it is a fan favorite of many Genwunners and usually escapes criticism of its design, even though it's as straightforward as it gets.
Magnemite is a floating magnet with a large eye in the middle. Like most Pokémon, however, there's more to its inspiration than meets the eye. Magnemite represents electromagnetism and is one of the most ancient Pokémon to exist as there are 3,000-year-old carvings of it in the Ruins of Alph.
7 Gourgeist
Tumblr media
The Pokémon anime showed a celebration called the Gourgesit Festival, a thinly-veiled version of Halloween. People wear Pokémon costumes and trade candy with each other all through the night. The name comes from Gourgeist, a dual-type Ghost/Grass Pokémon native to the Kalos region.
RELATED: 10 Most Powerful 6th Gen Dual-Type Pokémon, Ranked
Gourgeist itself takes inspiration from a traditional jack-o-lantern. Its different sizes also reference the tradition of trying to grow the bulkiest pumpkin for Halloween. Its upper body references the candles that light the insides of jack-o-lanterns.
6 Elekid
Tumblr media
Quite possibly the angriest-looking baby Pokémon, Elekid is another Electric-type whose design is apparent to anyone who sees it.
Elekid is very clearly an AC power plug. What's more, its design doesn't have any other inspiration behind it. It is simply a power plug brought to life. There's a certain charm to its simplicity, but it's puzzling that it doesn't get the same level of hate as other equally uninspired Pokémon.
5 Chandelure
Tumblr media
Despite its seemingly frail appearance, Chandelure is an excellent - and disturbing - Pokémon, while also being one of the strongest in Generation V, in fact. Within the context of the franchise, Chadelure's fire is capable of burning a person's spirit.
Chandelure clearly draws inspiration from a chandelier, something that becomes even more apparent by the fact it apparently resides in dilapidated mansions. It also borrows inspiration from will-o'-the-wisps and the idea of haunted mansions.
4 Trubbish & Garbodor
Tumblr media
The Garbodor family gets a lot of hate. Widely considered as two of the worst Pokémon ever created, they're one of the reasons why Generation V had such a bad reputation when it first came out.
Trubbish and Garbodor are trash, literally. The former is a small trash bag with bunny-like ears, whose name is a combination of "trash" and "rubbish." The latter is an even bigger trash bag that broke and now has garbage coming out of it. Its name is a combination of the words "garbage" and "odor," reinforcing the Pokémon's relation with waste. Garbodor remains controversial to this day, but that didn't prevent it from receiving a Gigantamax form, which was atually widely unpopular.
3 Sinistea & Polteageist
Tumblr media
Generation VIII took one of its real-life inspiration's trademarks, the United Kingdom's fondness for tea, to the next level. A Sinistea appears every time a spirit possesses a cup of tea. It then evolves into Polteageist when exposed to one of two items, either a Cracked Pot or a Chipped Pot.
RELATED: 10 Most Powerful 8th Gen Dual-Type Pokémon, Ranked
Both these Pokémon have rather dull designs and even their names are lazy tea puns. While fans always expected some kind of tea Pokémon in Galar, hardly anyone thought the result would be this literal.
2 Klefki
Tumblr media
Perhaps no Pokémon is a memeable as Klefki. A sentient keychain with a rather mischievous nature, it steals keys it likes and never returns them. Klefki is also quite powerful, despite being the tiniest Fairy Pokémon in existence.
Klefki's mischievous lore also ties with the pagan belief of fairies as treacherous and impish. Like the fairies in folklore, Klefki can also be dangerous to Pokémon and humans alike, especially when its precious keys are in danger of thievery.
1 Rotom's Many Forms
Tumblr media
When it comes to straightforward designs, Rotom remains undefeated. Depending on its form, it is either a simple lightbulb, a lawnmower, a refrigerator, a stove, a fan, or a washing machine. The idea is original and daring, but the execution ultimately falls short.
Rotom's original form comes from another Game Freak creation, Pulseman. It also draws inspiration from several natural phenomena and folklore, like poltergeists, magic smoke, and the still unexplained ball lightning.
